Artist is in a strange position, she is one of the most powerful Killers (rivaling Spirit in 3rd place imo) in the game yet has a low pick rate. It also doesn't help that many people never grow out of the place birb at pallet phase which gives her a worse reputation than she deserves.
But with all those DC's i can only say it was never really different. Just remember the time when DC penalty was turned off because of bugs and people disconnected at the slightest inconvenience, hell i saw other survivors dcing because someone on the team was not running meta perks.

i couldn't bring myself to play the game nowadays without dailies or challenges. i won't even touch it if the incentive isn't 100% on either side. dailies can use some reward increase for sure along with the bugfix that causes you to get killer dailies 90% of the time.
My hot take is that dailies should almost always go to the role you play less. So people actually play both sides and get a better understanding of the game.
-
Trickster, he is just boring to play. I do like the Ricochet blades and would play him a lot more if they were basekit but right now he is the hybrid of Huntress and Deathslinger but without fun snipes or gap shots.
-
If it doesn't work then its a bug.
BTW We'll make it is the most based perk in the game, and i'm blatantly biased in this opinion, that one never leaves my builds.

you know croquettes? these are the very much not fancy version
Damn i miss them now. Its hard to get here.
For me, if i don't eat any of the more cliche fast food i usually get myself some Mettbrötchen (raw pork on a bun) or Leberkäse (think of a smooth spiced meatloaf made with liver).

You posted a Billy getting a 3k, he is getting nerfed soon thanks to you.

For the same reason why only 3 female Killers (excluding Legion) have shoes and they are all mistreated by BHVR. They really have a massive foot fetish.

Her entire line of addons that increase the distance from a trap that a survivor can be for it to go off needs to be wiped and something else put in it's place. Anyone who's played Hag for more than five matches knows to not use those addons.
Since she's an M1 killer outside of the traps, adding something like boosting her from 4.4 speed to 4.6 after a trap goes off for 30-40 seconds in case that she's too far to teleport or in a chase with another survivor would also go a long ways for her, particularly vs survivors running speed perks.
As a trade-off, Hag (and Trapper as well, who could use a boost) cannot place traps within 12m of a hook or exit gate console, and 5m of the Hatch, all of which has always been cheesemode anyway.
The range add-ons are really good, but you need to use them differently, survivors automatically run into the direction of the trap because of the camera pull and the add-ons make the effect stronger, meaning that at many loops you can force the survivor into taking a different path completely or faceplant them into a corner to give you enough time to hit them. Use them without the intention to teleport but to hit them during a chase.
They are also good if you just put them near high-traffic areas since you can teleport to them and usually hit them before they reach a window/pallet.

The question is would she still be m1 in the sense of how does she gets downs? Because if the drone is flying above survivors I think it is really hard to have counterplay against getting tagged, also on indoor maps the drine implementation would be really rough, don't know if they would go through that struggle.
Just make it fly roughly at head height. Problems solved. And also she is an M1 Killer right now so that won't change.
-
I have had trouble finding a guide that is both up to date and actually shows the multitude of traps available.
I found a guide that is kind of outdated but still gives you a good idea on how different traps work so you can play more aggressively, think of Hag as a mix between Trapper and Spirit.

I don't think they can or should ban people for something that is a break on the devs side. It isn't like they've done something to their game client to get an advantage.
It's like the Blast Mine bug where you go out of body sometimes. Invisible and able to unhook and open gates. I didn't plan for it to happen but it was funny as hell.
Do you have any idea how dumb that is? Do you actually think that the majority of Devs and Publishers come to the consensus that using severe exploits is a bannable offense despite a potential revenue loss from some customers as some sort of joke?

I will just copy paste something from another thread:
Hex the third Seal: Now activates 60 seconds after the start of the match instead on hit, because it benefits some Killers way more than others.
Machine Learning: Can now be applied to multiple gens then resets like Eruption, its currently to much of a gamble.
Hex Ruin should be unnerfed, it was a healthier gen regression perk than most. Just remember what came after...
Game Afoot now works regardless of chase time.
Grim Embrace works for 60 seconds and reveals all survivors.
Oppression and Thrilling Tremors have their cooldown reduced to 40 seconds.
I'm all Ears now has its cooldown reduced to 20 seconds.
Predator replaces scratch marks with foot prints and increases footstep volume to make it easier to hear.
Remember me now works on first hook like No Way Out and regresses gate progress after a few seconds, removed obsession mechanic.
Whispers now get the whispers removed and replaced with a hud element, i always found the whispering to be annoying.
Make crows more evenly distributed as a buff for Spies for the Shadows, the function is actually good but its map dependant.
-
Trickster: Ricochet Blades are now basekit, he can be nerfed in other ways if it turns out to be OP, the ricochet is the most unique and fun in his kit imo, it would also make him stand out a bit more rather than seen as the abortion of Huntress and Deathslinger
Twins: Simply much less clunky and buggy.
Hag: Teleportation range is now infinite, teleportation range add-ons now increase the max amount of traps, she is currently way to defensive sometimes cause you don't even get that much of a choice. You can't blame Hags for playing defensively if big maps take away your power.
Freddy: Rework sleep state: Now default state, clocks are nerfed to be a very temporary relief (but Freddy can't put you to sleep) and make both traps and dream pallets basekit.
SM: A complete rework.
-

You can, one thing i like to do is to simply bring a medkit, hide it somewhere where other survivors won't find it right at the beginning and then play with flashbangs until i need it.
-
She is currently in a good spot, she definitely takes a lot of skill to master but i would like to see some few changes, i mained her a for good while. She has a lot of things going for her with her default playstyle and probably one of the best designed set of higher-tier add-ons in the game. But i think people camp with her to much because the game kind of tells people to do it, it really leads people in that direction.
- Teleportation range is now infinite.
- Teleportation range add-ons now increase the max amount of traps.
- Can no longer place traps within 12m of a hooked survivor.
- Speed add-ons now work on the entire duration, rather than just the drawing animation (they are low-key kind of bad right now).
I think these changes should give her a little bit more of flexibility regarding trap placements, nothing is more frustrating than trapping up good spots on large maps around high-traffic areas, having them trigger only to be out of range. It really hurts her and leads people into playing more defensively than they should. The nerf of placing traps around hooked survivors is more intended to help people catch on how to play her "aggressively".
Hex The Third Seal and Ruin should also be buffed. I think The Third Seal should simply activate after 60 seconds into a match and Ruin should get unnerfed, it was a much more healthy perk than most regression/stalling Perks that came afterward because unlike most of them Ruin demands you to go harass people of gens to get value.

Yeah, things feel bad if you screw up, but the killer was new and clearly had potential.
So buffing him so much in such a short window of time is just becoming comical.
I wouldn't even be mad about that aproach if we got frequent updates to tune things up and down, but no it's buff or nothing for how many months or years before they consider ir necessary.
He was lacking in some aspects and he even still is, why they buffed and changed aspects everyone was fine but ignored some crucial feedback really defeat the purpose of the PTBs. For example, one common complaint was that the turrets were to hard to spot in many spots because the FOV is to close to the ground, they did nothing about it and increased movement speed in tunnels instead.

I dunno why he said that. Your MMR varies between killers but only slightly. The devs don’t let each killer on a player’s system have a low to high individual MMR for obvious reasons.
Its supposed to work like that but i can tell you from personal experience that this isn't the case, something ain't working correctly. If i play Pinhead or Artist, i get the sweatiest SWF wannabe comp teams the game can throw at me. But if i go play a Killer i do not play that much like Deathslinger i get people apparently playing their first DBD match.

i am only 35 not ancient LOL
I'm 26 and this community we are both ancient beings. Just last week i was in a store, someone in front of me bought beer and he was born in 2006, i felt really old in that moment.
-
I'm not that old but old enough to know gaming before steam became this big all ever present thing, but the biggest lesson is that demos should come back.
Lets be honest here they have been abandoned so Devs/Publishers have an easier time getting away with poor optimization.
-
Tbh i enjoy playing the occasional match as Skully focusing on a complete totem build, but i agree she should get a rework.
I feel like we should have only 1-2 drones but controllable like Victor, and have add-ons like Doctor and Hag which severely affect the playstyle. An add-on that attaches a taser to disrupt survivors like Doctor, another one that has an AOE that applies status effects or reveals survivors via Killer Instinct, an iridescent queen like static charge, one which traps totems, windows and pallets and applies a claw trap when survivors interact with it etc.
-
I had it as well, equip monstrous shrine that worked for me.
-
"Nerf 1: Turrets no longer build up a separate gauge and then either disable Crawler mode or not depending on if that gauge is filled. Instead, Turrets will always knock the Xenomorph out of Crawler mode, but the remaining charge will be relative to the time you were hit by the flames. Similar to when picking up a survivor drops you to 75% charge. Therefore if you do successfully destroy the Turret fast enough, you will regain Crawler mode faster than if you did not."
This is a fair enough nerf but i would honestly also give Xeno a little help by giving turrets a brighter light, increase their size a little bit or something so spotting it in grass is a bit easier, this is a massive pet peeve for me when playing as him, especially since the camera is so uncomfortably close to the ground.
-
@BugReporterOnly said:
It's too oppressive on Xenomorph in Crawler mode. Not sure what can be done but something should be done.
There is a good amount of Killers who can use it very well without being "too oppressive", if it turns out to be a massive problem then we can give Xeno a lullaby instead of nerfing this perk for the Killers who can use it well but don't deserve a nerf.
-
@Crowman said:
It's a locker perk, so it's always going to be okay at best. Largely because some maps (like swamp) have terrible locker spawns so it can be very hard to keep checking a locker to use the perk.
Plus the perk is only really useful of mobility killers, so you can actually move quickly around the map to locate survivors.
A bit uncreative, you can easily use with most Killers with basic TR and it has nasty combinations such as DMS, Thrill of the Hunt or hemorrhage status effect.
-
I couldn't disagree more. We already have a stale meta for many years now. Hit and run is a playstyle that would be ruined and that would ruin quite a few Killers who need to rely on it to get anything done, best example being Dredge. If you nerf something that many Killers outside the top need, you will only reinforce the Meta and push Killers into even more obnoxious any annoying playstyles. Remember that Sloppy doesn't really do much for people who camp and tunnel for example because the tunneled survivor doesn't get a chance to get healed anyway, so nerfing it would punish all Killers except those who use those strategies.
Just about every method of pressuring survivors do feel oppressive, and thats exactly the point as they would ignore it or generally be ineffective otherwise. Trying to fix that is just asking the monkey paw to give you the middle finger.

An extremely small percent of the killer roster can benefit from the massive sightlines. All of them are the best killers in the game. Nurse, Blight, Spirit, etc. Every other killer has the effectiveness of their power reduced significantly the moment they load in on the map.
What's Trapper going to do when he sees a survivor 50+ meters away? Yeet his traps? Will Pinhead seriously try to land his chains from that distance? What about Michael and Ghostface? How are they supposed to stalk survivors when they have almost nothing to hide their advance towards survivors? The list goes on.
You assume that killers being able to see survivors from miles away benefits the killer. The truth is, the opposite is true the vast majority of the time.
And that's not even mentioning the atrocious loop and pallet spawns:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/UIXIIJPC1F5V/20230831120526-1.jpg
- Safe window into safe pallet into jungle gym into main house
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/2BRQUIJRHFXU/20230831120547-1.jpg
2. Several interlinked pallets all within 16 meters of each other.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/N1KZA36LD0HN/20230831120650-1.jpg
3. Jungle gym leading directly in a safe pallet loop
All of these examples I took from the same match. They are not cherry picked. This map is so blatantly survivor-sided that you can reliably load into it and witness at least several broken set-ups.
Stop defending this terrible map.
That is still a massive improvement compared to release, every single possible pallet spawn had one. It was like the game but 3 times the size and 300 times the pallets.
-
I'd like it more if it was green instead of red, i know its supposed to be the survivors blood but that is kind of an opportunity thrown away.
-
@Wolfganguntoten said:
It's unrealistic and unreasonable. A flashlight or having a pallet hit the killer will make him drop a survivor but not being literally set on fire. Stupid.
Okay, but lets not forget that people IRL don't have infinite blood, survivors should die of blood loss shortly after the first hit.
-
They are mostly fine but the problem of them being often barely visible still is there somehow.
Please reveal their aura in short range or let us see the radius like survivors can or something, on maps with grass its like playing against a survivor that plays Trapper.
-
It's not even be that difficult to please Trapper mains, they deal with so much ######### that letting him get traps from lockers would be like gods gift for them. Just remove them from the maps and let him recycle old maps by grabbing new ones kinda like how Hag cycles from oldest to newest.

THIS.
It's truly baffling to me that anyone could see what the game is like when DC penalties have been turned off and then in good faith ask for them to be turned off forever.
I might sound like an ######### saying this but i believe it should be increased, For Honor had a problem with disconnecting to so players "save" their stats that no one else could see anyway. And it happened literally almost every game, after fixing problems that allowed to bypass it they upped it from 10 to 15 Minutes (possibly as a message after people started crying) and it started to drop drastically.
As a compromise i would allow players to disconnect after like 15-20 minutes so problems with people taking the game hostage or abusing strategies like 3-genning would be atleast partially adressed.
-
Its actually not bad on Killers who use their power frequently enough to realistically ever get bloodlust anyway. Pinhead and Artist are good examples, if you get bloodlust with them you are doing something really wrong.
-
We get that every couple months and it always turned out to be wrong.
BHVR also has connections to a few other license holders and probably quite a lot of opportunities before they will get desperate enough to start scraping the bottom of the barrel with FNAF, especially because BHVR could be accused of hypocrisy by supporting Scott Cawthon in any way.
They still have connections with Blumhouse. Ubisoft and Games Workshop possibly too so even Warhammer 40k is more likely than Fnaf and any WH40k fans will tell you how much scum the company behind it can be when it comes to their license.
-
Why the hell do people care about it in the slightest? Seriously who really goes out of the way to read them, they do not even have much lore implications to begin with. I've seen it spammed on Reddit too for karma farming a non-issue.
"YEAH BUT LORE..." come on, shut up people. I've seen more complaints about the cosmetic descriptions than the tome changes and low quality tomes.
-
I would say no, don't get me wrong, i like Kayako and i would not really be that opposed to it, but we already got 3 Japanese characters, including 2 Onryōs. I think that alone would make her much less special and we should get a lot more characters/killers from folklore from different countries rather than just a handful of places.

Yeah honestly it sucks :/ I'm sure even weird people who are like "why are you complaining about something you didn't buy ? You should have never had it because I paid for it" can sympathize with the fact that people literally couldn't buy the DLC.
it's just so backwards, now if I convince my brother to play I also have to make sure he doesn't actually give BHVR any money so he can have the character he liked (Demogorgon), how is that good for business I truly don't know.
Not only that, many people actually switched from console to PC which means that they could atleast get some of the content earlier back without paying twice since BHVR wants to have cross-progression anyway.
Its also simply not a good business for BHVR, the money is in the store and events, barely anyone buys the game and DLC outside of a sale anyway, taking away peoples content by any means simply means they will either spend less overall or leave the game entirely.
-
Thats to bad because Pinhead is imo one of the most balanced and the most healthy Killer for this game.
The only problem with Pinhead is that the Box should reveal auras to survivor when someone is carrying it and when someone is within 24-32 meters when on the ground so the difference between SWF and Solos gets a bit reduced, other than that he is pretty much near perfect.
He also is a very tricky Killer to master too with a high skill ceiling.
-
He could use some tweaks to make him more consistant, cause he is a great pubstomper but weak against SWF.
I think the box should reveal all auras of survivors to other survivors within like 24-32m and the box no longer spawning chains if the Killer is not in the chase with the carrier, we can buff him to make him to compensate and help him against more coordinated teams. Such as reducing the slow-down after using his chains a bit and increasing the gateway distance.
Overall i'm kind of indifferent to Pinhead when im playing against him, sure he is not the most pleasant one but i think there are quite a few who are a lot more obnoxious like Legion and Trickster imo.
-
Some of the more creative visual elements are cool. Though i think the color saturation is to dull to appreciate it.
-
I respect all Killers who don't go Chess Merchant or similar annoying playstyles to a degree, but i really love people who put hours in characters most don't want to play, the underdogs like Deathslinger, Clown, Twins, Doctor and Miss Piggy
-
He should get a 24m lullaby, proper iron-sights and an add-on pass and i think he'll be fine.
