Blight is fast, but not as fast as wesker. You can drop a pallet on blight. Wesker's dash is so fast you have to drop before he dashes.
Blight with both speed addons reaches above 300% speed, which is just as fast as Wesker at the end of his animation.
-
Shadowborn users be like: "wdym you guys use 4 perks"
-
I personally think Slinger is still fun and a nice middle tier killer even after the nerf, and the chapter has two very strong meta perks (Dead Man's Switch and Off the Record). Hex: Retribution is also decent.
-
Yeah it's stupid how hard survivor challenges are. With killer it's always stuff like "hit survivors 10 times with your weapon", aka just play a single match.
-
Is this a 2020 post or something? Slinger and Pyramid Head received changes ages ago.
-
Yes. You're risking free Pentimento tokens for the killer and losing a potential boon spot, not even mentioning the gen time lost. Only cleanse dulls if the killer is losing terribly and you don't want the game to end too fast.
-
"Data shows she needs a rework" which data?
-
Weren't you going to uninstall?
-
You won't get better at chases if you're dropping every single one. Huntress, Blight and Wesker all have decent anti loop. Start commiting more to chases, even if it means losing more initially until you get better.
-
Considering everyday I see you complaining around here, it's probably time for you to take a break.
-
It's an animation in a videogame, don't know why people take it so seriously. I don't do it but I don't care if people do it to me . It's funny seeing streamers on Twitch who are 30+ years old and still get triggered by someone who pressed control a few times.
-
Franklins is definitely underrated with all the medkits and toolboxes out there, that's for sure.
-
Pretty unfun map to play for both sides. It used to be bad only for killer and after the rework they made it bad for both sides, balanced I guess.
-
If you lose, it's a skill issue. If I lose, it's a game issue. Simple.
-
If I played at the afternoon I'm sure I could get at least a 10 escape streak or something like that. Unfortunately I can only play at evenings and it's MMR hell, one match I get a good team and the next one a Meg with 20 hours in the game.
-
2/5 for me. He feels like a clunkier Blight and I hate killers who speak all the time.
-
Oh look 3 screenshots without context, first time I've seen something like this here!
-
She's ok, but I don't support this whole "she is underrated" talk because she obviously needs some help.
-
Ok, will use Pain Resonance instead.
-
Considering the latest bloodlust buffs it's safe to assume BHVR has given up on making maps which are fun to play on for both sides. If you exclude reworks the last map that felt balanced for both was Chapel 4 years ago lmao.
-
A killer shouldn't be designed around camping. If Hag is truly that weak after this patch (which I doubt), then by all means rework her.
-
Hidetaka Miyazaki build
-
Nemesis feels way more smooth to play, being able to shred through pallets with him is so good, and I love the sound his tentacle makes when it hits a survivor. Wesker rn feels like a janky Blight.
Also personal take, but I don't like killers who talk all the time (Trickster, Pinhead and Wesker). It's funny the first few times but then it gets annoying, whenever he says "seven minutes is all I can spare to play with you" it makes me cringe because obviously after 7 minutes nothing happens, unlike in the original game.
-
Let's be honest both are pretty bad on solo queue and only work with a SWF, and in that scenario Reassurance is better.
-
I think they went way too hard on his hitbox reduction, it feels like you need Deathslinger precision on what is essentially Demogorgon's Shred.
-
What a meta shake up, nerfing one of the only fun-focused survivor perks. Don't worry I'll just change it for Off the Record or BT now!

When everyone's always questioning your MMR and skill level, yes gaining MMR is important. If I faced nothing but baby survivors, my opinions would cease to be valid, because I wouldn't be experiencing the level that I'm talking about.
So all I have to do to get an extra kill is SIMPLY camp or tunnel? Why didn't I think of that before?
I know the spawn logic of hatch quite well. It just seems like it's always spawning near the survivors for me, and allows them to jump through anyway when they screwed up and waited too long before I got close enough to close it.
You don't lose MMR with hatch escapes, the difference between a 3k + hatch or a 4k is basically null. You're only gaining a few less points.
-
Why do you care so much about this? A 3k+hatch or a 4k are literally the same thing, unless you're one of those who want the increase the magical invisible number (MMR) that no one cares about.
Hatch and exit gates exists so when the game is lost survivors at least try to do something when the game is lost. When the game is lost as killer you can always squeeze out at least a 1k with camping or tunneling, but when the game is lost as survivor the best thing you can hope is to escape through the hatch at the end.
If I'm going to die anyway when the game is lost I might as well AFK instead of wasting my time.
Also at least try to share your opinions with actual facts. The hatch location is decided randomly while the map is loading, it has nothing to do with the killer and survivor positioning.
-
Slinger is miles better than Trickster. Any place where Trickster can get a single knife, Deathslinger can get a shot bar behind safe pallets. Trickster is only better at camping which I honestly don't care because I dislike camping. He needs a lot of QoL changes like increased sensitivity while aiming and a 28m TR, but he's not bad at all. As someone who plays Slinger a lot I believe he has the 2nd best chase power in the game, only being behind Nurse.
-
The majority of Nurse mains I see agree that range addons should go and her blinks should be special attack. The aura nerf would hurt my favorite build on her (Floods of Rage + BBQ + Lethal) but I can adapt to it. What people complain about is ######### ideas for rework like "having to collect blood like Oni" or "110 and can't blink through objects", there's nothing wrong with Nurse's basekit.
-
Don't care, I'm having tons of fun with her. And no, people giving up is not as commons as you're pretending it is, unless you're the person giving up every match lmao
-
Great change, but I hate how they call the section "Camping and Tunneling". Basekit BT does nothing against camping, only against tunneling.
-
Camping in general got buffed with the extra 10 seconds per gen. That doesn't sound like a lot but when you consider that the hook timer didn't get buffed as well to compensate it makes a huge difference.
Other than that, they definitely did something with MMR after this patch. Never before I had to play with so many people who are still new to the game. Just today I had a match where I was being chased by a Pinhead and NOBODY bothered going for the box, probably because they don't even know how the killer works. I guess they are being way more lenient to compensate that way more people are playing killer now after the buffs.
I miss the first months of MMR. Matches felt good on both sides and solo queue was decent, even if everything I went against was Blights and Nurses lol.
-
I never understood this notion of Sadako being fun to play as. Her stealth is a watered down version of Wraith + Spirit's passive phasing and her teleport is a watered down version of Freddy. That's the whole killer for ya. Oh yeah, she also has a gimmick that only works if you bring certain addons and with very specific playstyles (moonwalking in chase? Is this 2018 Legion?).
-
Solo queue was decent when MMR was more strict when it released. With the way MMR is currently working to make killer queues shorter you could make gens take 40 seconds and solo queue would probably still be terrible.
-
Someone in the dev team really hates Billy. Just be glad they haven't "accidentally" deleted him yet.
-
WEE BIT OVERPOWERED
-
DBD's community is always doing a "anti-something movement". A few months ago it was Spirit, then Blight, now Nurse. They don't really need to hear those things.
-
Everybody knows that already. What we complain about is how BHVR doesn't make spreading hooks a more valid strategy.
-
Legion is boring, therefore longer Legion matches = longer boredom.
The worst is that the Legion who run 4 slowdowns are always the bad ones that can't down survivors anywhere that isn't a deadzone, so they always put you to mend and go somewhere else.
-
Devs hate Hillbilly. They removed Skybilly but never fixed his animations which got changed right before his rework in 2020.
Just be glad they still haven't pulled something like "due to an unknown bug, the Hillbilly has been permanently deleted".
-
Discordance users are pretty obvious to notice. They always stop everything they're doing and go straight to the gen. I'm personally fine with it, at least it's not slowdown (which means I'm not even seeing it that much).
-
I think that kind of tunneling where the killer sniffs the survivor waiting for BT and then proceeds to rehook them is unhealthy for the game. It's not fun to do it as killer and it sure as hell isn't fun for the survivor. However, I don't blame players that do it and I don't cry when it happens to me. It's BHVR's job to fix this, not the player's.
-
I'd personally find it very distracting and actually harmful for people who are already used to her muscle memory. It could be an accessibility feature that you can turn on if you want to.

Sure. I'll upload a video later today and post it on this thread. It might end up getting posted WAY later today since I have some work that needs to get done. How does something like 3 or 4 consecutive games sound?
I really do hate playing Nurse though, I think she is very boring and way too easy. You don't have to think or adapt all that much to the survivor you're playing against, you just blink on top of them and down them.
Okay then, don't forget the endgame screen!
-
I just want to remind you survivor and killer perks are not equivalent. Survivors have collectively 16 perks in total, while the killer only has 4.
-
I'll gladly take your opinion seriously if you could back up your claim of 4king every game without perks. I'll wait.
-
Great post. I'd take reverting all of the buffs to killers and nerfs to survivors in the last patch for an overhaul on most maps. You could probably cut every map 25% in size and most of them would still be survivor sided.
-
If you're getting hooks in less than 45 seconds the survivors would probably lose with you playing perkless anyway.
-
I consider myself a pretty decent survivor and my highest prestige survivor is 5 because I never bothered with P3ing. I got all my survivors to level 40 for their teachables and then got all perks on my mains (Cheryl and Kate).
