if it helps that's what a lot of the people here want too- something subtle like David and Felix have in their lore (please don't do a Frank and Julie BHVR i beg). that's the type of ######### we want but unfortunately, and i got really bad news here, lgbtq+ people breathing is a political statement and honestly we just gotta wake up one day and choose straight to be less political.

As for content. Like, dunno what you think, but I'd like (on top of health updates) questline chapters. that would e.g. unlock special offerings that can be used to do additional stuff on maps to finish long questlines or something.

Which maps are left? Coldwind (i think that is set to be next), swamp, haddonfield and... I think that's it. Coldwind is a big map pool, sure, but the rest is 'just' three maps. it might work out in time for ch20
EDIT: Maybe lery's and Hawkins, as they don'T have breakable walls yet, but... do they need them?

If I'm actually gonna answer the thread though, I'd like the new content to be put on hold. Yeah the game may get stagnant with no new killers & survivors but if there's gonna be an actual load of fixes and ######### for game health I'm all for it. I'd rather be slightly bored of the characters but have newly balanced perks and maps and character reworks than a new character.

Of the top of my head, Nurse had a husband, David had a girlfriend, Dwight had a girlfriend (I think? Little fuzzy on that one), and of courses Frank and Julie.
Or to put it another wayz there have been striaght relationships in the lore for quite some time, and the Devs have been working hard to include all other forms of diversity, so why no LGBT+?

Honestly, I get this. I get this a lot.
Whenever I have a losing streak, I begin to get really frustrated with myself, and those thoughts of frustration take a really dark turn, really quickly. I'm glad that I'm at a level, finally, where I can hold my own and usually win against a majority of survivors, but this exact reason is the reason why I quit playing solo for so long.
My honest advice, take a break.
This game is addicting but, just a couple of days. I was getting so frustrated with this game and myself to the point where I broke my own wardrobe out of frustration, said ######### it, and uninstalled for 3 days. Came back and it just... wasn't an issue. I wasn't getting as frustrated, nor as depressed, and it was genuinely enjoyable again. So whenever I feel myself getting to a place like that, I just don't play for a day and it helps immensely.
Knowing your limits to what you can take is something massive you should do.
And invalidating your own feelings by calling them stupid? Makes it 50x worse. It doesn't matter if it shouldn't upset you, it doesn't matter if it feels like other people are stronger than you because everyone is unique in how they handle things. If it affects you then it affects you, and it's not stupid to be affected by something.
Like I said, just try to take a day or twos break and come back, it's really helpful.

Most media uses the most ‘obvious’ and outdated references when representing certain countries. It’s like when somebody British is in something, 9/10 they have the stereotype accent and I’ve never actually met a British person who speaks that way.
I don’t think this chapter was in any way supposed to offend Koreans, but they just went with the brightest art direction they could in order to suit the aesthetic they chose.

Frankly speaking, referring to "socially sensitive" in the element of "game" is actually one of the right ways. Either "forced" it or. Or if you try to match the settings of the original game by force. Because the game's original setting collapses, it can eventually lead to the game's original meaning fading out.

Drop a relatively weaker pallet near the start of the game and then begin to start to pick it up. Usually in those 4 seconds you'll know if the killer is coming over. If they aren't pick it up, if they are are then keep channeling to the 2s mark and then when they're close enough pick it up. Took my friends 4 games using this method (I did it differently bit that differently also involved a rank 15 so I'm not sure it quite counts)

Crowd control sounds nice though, might get crutch with undying because of how long you basically can´t loop around T/L´s etc. Does it only block one window at a time or all windows which are fast vaulted?
Haven't had the chance to test but from just reading it it seems like it's any window for 10 seconds, regardless of if there's already one blocked. Also seems like it blocks it for all survivors.

Thats the thing, the backstories never portrait sexuality and I don't think adding it would benefit anyone or raise any type of awareness as players expect fiction and will see it as fiction. For all we know all characters are LGBTQ+, why? Because it is never stated otherwise.
I don't mind if they take that route, I just think that it achieves little and there are better ways to represent people.

There's no confirmed "they're 100% straight" but there's also no confirmation on bi/pan either, and so it's much more likely for them to be straight as only ~8% of the global population is LGBTQ+.
We don't need a confirmed LGBTQ+ character either, but a relationship, like what we have for heterosexual relationship representation. That's all we ask for.

I've only seen LGBT people really hung up on whether the new chapter has it or not. It's actually kind of confusing, the front page of General Discussions last I looked has quite a few new posts on the LGBT topic, all made by LGBT people, claiming that people should stop being homophobic or upset that there might be an LGBT character. Except I don't see ANY forum posts complaining about it EXCEPT by LGBT people -- primarily them pre-complaining that this new character might be "done wrong" or not meet some standard or something. To be honest, at the moment the forums sort of looks eccentric, full of a lot of people making new posts on the same topic pretending to be at war against these imaginary homophobic posts that don't exist.
The closest I've seen so far to anything anti-LGBT, and this is a bit of a stretch to even call it that, was some comments concerned that the introduction of a LGBT character might be more based on political correctness than actually trying to properly represent the demographic.
That's because moderators exist on these forums, and if we check the forum rules:
Funnily enough (and I mean, who could've guessed this one), homophobia falls under the category of discrimination. As confirmed, too, by @Gay Myers (Luzi), "Homophobia has no place on these forums."
So the reason you don't see any homophic comments is because, contrary to popular belief, the moderators here do their job.
