Blimey, a lot of hatred toward farming. I'd always farm if a killer starts acting funny. I don't really care for needing bloodpoints, but I'll always take the opportunity to run around being silly. We've met a Doctor that played duck-duck-goose with us via spinning in a circle and shocking, started a store by collecting all the items on the map onto the bar in the saloon of the western map and "selling" them back to the killer, played a surviour rendition of duck hunt with a huntress at the carnival on asylum, and quite a few other very memorable fun moments outside of the DBD norm. Though I'll usually always kill myself at the end, whether by EGC or demanding hook, to try to avoid pipping.
You just need to run into the right survivours, mate. Contrary to most of the replies here, some don't mind farming.

1-Basically, u're complain about the community act like they're universally speaking by speaking by urself a LGBT character wouldn't work because it's desnecessary even literally all others lgbt people thinking otherwise?
Seems ironical
2-I don't think u know what homophobia is at all, cause that's literal homophobia in a dictionary
Are you quoting the right people? Everything you just accused people of aren't in either quote you put in your reply. In fact neither are even talking about the same thing you are.

Its not that people are bothered, they just don't feel like its necessary.
So why didn't they complain about Nurse, David, Felix, Frank, and Julie?
It depends which complaints you're looking at. I find a lot of posts are complaining that this is being shoved so hardcore compared to ANY other demographic not being represented yet in DBD -- dozens upon dozens of new posts, seemingly without end, many of which seem to be trying to stir up drama because the posts BEGIN with "stop being homophobic" which is just someone making yet ANOTHER new post STARTING the topic rather than stopping it.
I'm complaining that the forums were overtaken by countless threads pre-complaining about a character that didn't exist yet, wasn't confirmed, and that we had NO information about -- and yet tons of people were already writing novels about how the character is "being done wrong". And that's just annoying. It comes across as fighting for the sake of fighting. There isn't anything constructive about complaining about an LGBT character being written wrong when the character doesn't exist yet. It's just using the forums as a soapbox to rant about something that has nothing to do with anything actually in the game yet. And it turned out to be exactly that since it sounds like the new characters don't have anything lgbt in their backstories anyway.

I think liking or disliking the killer is a matter of just overall preference. I like his design as just a general character, but I personally am not a big fan of him as a killer. But that's 100% because of my personal preferences, in which I like more generic scary-monster-horror killers than killers like legion or trickster. They sorta just come across as edgy punk kids which have zero scare factor compared to like deformed monstrosities or paranormal spooks.
But that's a ME thing and definitely not that Trickster is made poorly or anything. Though I won't lie, with his name I was hoping he was a mindgame killer that would trick you as masquerading as a fellow survivour like a shapeshifter or The Thing or such. So that was a tad disappointing to see he's just a snapped narcissist pelting you with rave knives.

I can't tell if this post is legit or just troll baiting. If it isn't bait, does the backstory say he's lgbt? I haven't been able to find it yet to read it. Or are we doing the stereotype thing of assuming a non-masculine man is by default gay/trans/whatever?

Literally the first comment in this topic is a complain agains't it and so is in the others topic I have read
I'm assume that u guys are so homophobic that u don't realize it
I'm transgender, mate. I just dislike the louder drama hungry lgbt community acting like they universally speak for everyone when they actually make things a lot harder. Like throwing a fit about a character in a slasher video game that hadn't even been announced yet to warrant outcries of being done wrong.
But yes, anyone that disagrees is by default homophobic, we can assume that instead and feed the drama.

That's because moderators exist on these forums, and if we check the forum rules:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/MOSY963PRW6A/image.png
Funnily enough (and I mean, who could've guessed this one), homophobia falls under the category of discrimination. As confirmed, too, by @Gay Myers (Luzi), "Homophobia has no place on these forums."
So the reason you don't see any homophic comments is because, contrary to popular belief, the moderators here do their job.
And so instead of letting them do their jobs and remove it from the forums, they make 30 new posts restarting the topic? It doesn't come across as defending against this "onslaught" of haters, it comes across as stirring it up and hoping someone posts something that can come across as discrimination because they can't find any to reply to.

In my opinion it honestly doesn't matter how you keep rewording your examples -- the ban time is absolutely justified. Having two ragequits at 3pm then 2 crashes at 8pm is still a justified punishment. Because the system exists EXACTLY for people like you : ragequitters.
If it upsets you that your bad behaviour is hurting your gameplay during games where you aren't being bad then good. It's a punishment. Just because you decided "this match is good enough, I'll let everyone play the game", you aren't some reformed criminal being let out of prison that then gets unfairly punished for unexpected crashes. You're someone that decided that you aren't in the mood to break the rules again for the moment but absolutely will break those rules again later if it suits you.
Should it ONLY punish manual DCs? Yes. But you overestimate how big of a troll and drama queen some gamers all. They will alt f4, force crash, flick their router on and off, anything to fake a crash to ragequit if they could scam the DC penalty. The only options available is to let everyone rage DC because they hate legion/hag/whatever or because they whiffed too many swings -- or give a penalty system that impacts crashes but slowly escalates the punishment so anyone that doesn't crash constantly won't be locked out.
If you don't want to suffer a punishment for a crash you can't control, stop helping create an environment where they are forced to implement this system by NOT ragequitting in the first place.

To be honest? Anyone who is so scandalised by a LGBT character in DBD is probably someone that doesn't play DBD to begin with. Unless the character is someone who blatantly looks outside the conservative idea of the norm-- like someone in drag-- they won't even know unless they're someone who even bothers reading the little text blurbs about the character. It isn't like they speak, have interactions, or that their lore has ANY impact whatsoever in the gameplay.
Nobody is going to care. Looking at the forums, the biggest complaints so far are only coming from LGBT people who are either pre-complaining that the character isn't going to be done right, or making constant new threads about how the "anti-LGBT/homophobic/complaints against a LGBT" character need to stop. Complaints that I'm honestly not seeing ANYWHERE since the entire front page of the General Discussions is JUST LGBT people posting these things, I don't see any threads being started saying "don't make an LGBT character, it offends me". It's only posts being offended by seemingly nothing, kind of like they WANT someone to be upset about it so they can make a civil war happen. There isn't a civil war really happening. Almost everyone posting is on the same side, making a war against an imaginary enemy that doesn't seem to be very present in the DBD community.
I still don't get why we can't just let BHV actually release the character before we flood the forums with all these assumptions and look kind of embarrassing as hell to the Devs.

Sexuality has no place in this video game. Why is everybody so hung up on wether the new chapter is going to have an LGBT+ theme? Its a horror game about people getting hung on hooks.
I've only seen LGBT people really hung up on whether the new chapter has it or not. It's actually kind of confusing, the front page of General Discussions last I looked has quite a few new posts on the LGBT topic, all made by LGBT people, claiming that people should stop being homophobic or upset that there might be an LGBT character. Except I don't see ANY forum posts complaining about it EXCEPT by LGBT people -- primarily them pre-complaining that this new character might be "done wrong" or not meet some standard or something. To be honest, at the moment the forums sort of looks eccentric, full of a lot of people making new posts on the same topic pretending to be at war against these imaginary homophobic posts that don't exist.
The closest I've seen so far to anything anti-LGBT, and this is a bit of a stretch to even call it that, was some comments concerned that the introduction of a LGBT character might be more based on political correctness than actually trying to properly represent the demographic.

is someone else shocked that in 2021 so many people are getting upset and making such a big deal of a "possible" Lgbt character? cuz when i read some on the stuff here i feel like we made no progress in the last ten years..... Gay people exist, get over it.
I'll be honest, 90% of the posts I've seen aren't people commenting in some homophobic way or all "there shouldn't be a gay character" -- they're almost ALL seeming to come from people who identify as LGBT and are pre-complaining about the character not being done right or meeting some imaginary standard or something. Occasionally they're stirring up some sort of posts that are anti-gay only in the sense that they're defining a LGBT character as being a political statement and not a type of person, but by majority? Not really reading as much from them as from the demographic this possible character is supposed to represent.

I always thought it was just me and my hilariously awful judgement that accidentally went into lockers while trying to vault a window. I'm oddly soothed to know other survivours have had the same mistake.
Though admittedly I have done it twice in a row. I missed a vault and hopped into a locker accidentally, the killer swung and hit the locker. I thought "Ha, this is my chance!" And jumped out of the locker and turned sharply to the window -- only to have my character, upon pressing space bar, immediately turn and use the locker again instead.
Sadly the killer doesn't seem to mess up twice like I do. They usually just stare blankly at my life choices before wrenching me forcibly back out of the locker.
Anyone? Just me?

Not even remotely close to a helpful reply, just me joining the bandwagon. Survivour queues are incredibly short in my region nowadays too. Me and my mate used to expect a good 5 minutes or more between SWF games, now we barely get to finish a bloodweb before we're paired up. So I'd say there is definitely no shortage of killers playing.

And this circle jerk of a thread is?
Is replying to me helping? Will No0b3 read this? lol No.
I'll keep watching Otz, Ardetha, Monto and Zubat they at least talk to their community and engage with them.
And stop giving me the "Mental health" aspect, if it's so bad, he should just quit. Not everyone is meant to be a full time streamer.
Entirely off topic, but I'm kind of sad how much it feels Monti changed from who I subbed to. He was calm, cool and kind of educational to me. Maybe I catch his streams at all the wrong times but nowadays he seems to act a lot like how Puppers does: complaining ENDLESSLY about every little thing that went wrong during a game and always blaming it on any factor but making a mistake or someone having played better that round.
It's probably just my bad timing with their streams though. I think I show up at all the worst moments.

TheEntityLeftHand: A twitch streamer that weirdly really entertains me because he roleplays as being Trapper. Like last I saw he even has one of those movement capturing avatars to have a "facecam" of Trapper playing. I just enjoy the creativity and dedication of it. He's very interactive with his viewers as well.
No0b3: I think his editting is fantastic and he generally seems lighthearted about it all. The couple streams I've caught were good, I don't know if he's known for being toxic (real toxic, the attacking other people kind, not the flicking flashlights or crouching a bunch kind) and I wouldn't be shocked if someone says he is sometimes, but the streams I caught had him behaving okay.
CowsIAm: It's Cows. He's goofy and has fun content. Dunno what else to say about him.
Monto: This is mixed. I started watching him a long time ago because he was relatively calm, explained builds and general DBD stuff, and had fun gameplay. But now as he has obtained many many new subs since then, he kind of has become different. He seems to have adopted a default 'always half yelling' voice and complains A LOT more. He isn't awful, he just has sort of started emulating a lot of other youtubers/streamers which is fine, it just sort of negates why he was one of my favourites earlier in his career.
Samination: I love his gameplay videos where he adds his parody voices/personas to all the characters during it. I really wish he'd make a bunch of these but I think there are only like 3-4.
Annnd I prattled long enough. Cheers.
Edit: Thank you OP for making this thread, it's actually a great resource now for me to look up a bunch of youtubers/streamers I didn't know about.

I don't understand what the bag did is wrong? If a survivor hides in a corner that was there choice. Slugging and allowing to bleed out is part of the game. Why should the hag move? Its her map she can stand anywhere she likes. Shes the boss.
I dont see how a killer standing in a certain spot is reportable...
I think one of the issues is that there isn't enough context in those screenshots. Was the survivour hiding in the corner, or did he think he could finish the totem in time to take a hit and leg it? Did he find a hex early on and been held there the entire duration of the game, with other survivours gaining boldness points because the hag just stares at them as they run to-from her -- or did she start this at the end of the match, held him hostage with only 1 gen left or all of them popped, and it's the other survivours holding the game hostage by refusing to trigger EGC?
Some of these scenarios do sort of put her in a different light. Either way she isn't slugging and allowing to bleed out. She's either securing a kill at the end but the EGC isn't being triggered, or she's trolling someone early on because she realised they were stuck if she didn't do anything.

As a notorious idiot for finding dead-ends or choosing the incorrect path to take, I can say I've had this happen to me on more than one occasion. Oddly twice by two different leatherfaces who just revved their chainsaw on-off without ever downing me for the rest of the duration of the game. I've seen some interesting suggested fixes to prevent long-term body blocking, but since none of those currently exist? ... I still agree that opening the gates and starting the collapse is the way to go.
I guess how the Dwight feels about it kind of depends on his seriousness of the game. I'll admit I usually play in a 2-person SWF with my buddy, and when I've gotten cornered like that I'm usually dramatically shouting over the microphone "oh god it's over, they're taking me alive, leave me, tell my wife" ... so regardless of the behaviour being acceptable or not acceptable, just hope the Dwight has a sense of humour to make the best of it. Well, and also just open the gates once you see the situation is hopeless.
... though as a Dwight main myself, I feel like I have a kinship for that bloke in the screenshot. Ahh, my brother in stupid-corner-decisions.

Since the question of this thread was "why" and not "what should I do", I'll just go with the former. And I think that's just really a consequence of most if not all multi-player games that have any sort of time or quantity based reward system for something. I remember seeing these sort of arguments, admittedly with less (but certainly not NONE) of this imaginary 'video game racism' between what character class you play, on things like TF2 and OW as well. The argument of some people hating that some people AFK, mess around or do the absolute minimal at the cost of the other players -- and other people arguing that since they paid for the game, they can have their enjoyment in whatever way they please if it isn't actively malicious. And both those examples show that the 'reward' doesn't even have to matter much, since TF2 does (did?) reward on just time whereas OW gives very little reward for doing very little in the game.
I think just some people... collect stuff. Even if it's not in a fun or efficient way. I personally do not enjoy playing with AFK people. I don't even enjoy farming much because I don't like it ranking me forward into categories I am definitely NOT skilled enough to be in. But other people don't mind it, so overall? I guess it's a matter of opinion in regards to the 'why' and if any answer is at all acceptable.
Ultimately, if AFK is indeed reportable, then the game itself does not consider it acceptable regardless of player opinion. Probably because it IS a game and they have to try to desperately balance the approval of different demographics, which almost never will succeed but they will always do their best to accomplish since that's what provides them with a player base and profit.
So I guess the "why" doesn't REALLY matter. I suppose if it really upsets you (which you've already stated it hasn't to any big degree), report them and enough of those may cause action against it. But it's still probably likely you'll meet another one soon with possibly even a different reason as to why THEY do it. My guess? He seems like he enjoys collecting things. He finished the rift so far, perhaps he wants to get shards to get something from the Store, and he might've just had several bad games possibly with or without some toxic commentary in the after-chat where he decided he'd chill some rounds. Yeah, I find a game like that VERY boring too... but at least the gens go fast so I can find someone else to play with.
.... I just kinda feel bad sometimes that I open the gate and leave immediately while other survivours might want to farm around totems or something. At least the timer isn't TOO short for them I hope.
