Are y'all coffee drinkers those kinds of people where coffee puts you to sleep or are you just having it to power through more matches?

Coffee does help calm me. I can drink a cup and go to bed.

    Okay...here we go.

Trapper has lots of experience with heavy lifting, as he did work in his father's mine. Heaving up a survivor to his shoulder should be no problem.

Wraith has likely been working hard labor jobs since coming to America, so he's definitely got some muscle. However, it's possible signs of back damage are already showing, as you can see whenever he is standing still he has his head tilted to the side, as that is probably to most comfortable position for his spine.

Hillbilly has worked manual labor his entire life, plus he's already got a hunch. I doubt his father or others taught him proper lifting techniques and he had to just go with what was most comfortable/efficient.

Nurse has some sort of telekinetic force that allows her to break pallets and generators, so I assume she must be using it to pick up survivors.

Myers is pure evil. He probably lift people up without proper lifting technique just to make people angry because he's just so evil.

Hag seems to already be crippled slightly due to the cannibalism. However, she probably has some sort of hex that allows her to be able to summon some ungodly amount of strength to lift survivors.

Doctor is filled with wires and other metal bits, likely reinforcing his body and allowing such fluid movement.

Huntress has years of experience transporting kills to her home and has built up quite a bit of muscle in the process. If she can drag a bear through the woods for several miles, she lift one person off the ground.

Bubba should know better, as he has had years of experience lifting people in order to have a nice family dinner.

Freddy is a dream demon and is likely using his nightmare powers to make us perceive improper lifting techniques. The true nightmare was spinal damage all along.

Pig has likely rigged up some sort of lifting contraption in her arm to help lift people up onto her shoulder. She was to apprentice to Jigsaw after all, years of mechanical engineering could allow for such a thing.

Clown is probably numb on painkillers and other drugs he can't even feel the pain his back is in whenever he lifts someone up.

Spirit is an incorporeal being and as such does not contain a skeletal system.

Legion are still young and rebellious. They don't care about proper lifting because you're not even their real Dad okay!

Plague is basically rotting from the inside out and her nerves can't even function properly. Bending down and lifting is the least of her worries at any given point.

Ghostface has always been a troll and is doing it on purpose just for the lols. He's so meticulous if he wasn't doing it for laughs he has some other reason for doing it surely.

Demogorgon... I'm not even going to pretend to know the anatomy of a creature from the upside down, so I'll just assume it's doing probably upside-downian lifting techniques.

Oni is probably just full of adrenaline all the time from all his rage he can't even feel pain. Even if he did, it would just make him angrier and more powerful.

Deathslinger is already crippled with that leg brace. He probably couldn't bend over if he wanted. That's the only way he can pick anything up.

Pyramid Head is technically just a manifestation of torment and improper lifting is probably just meant to torment all that witness it.

Blight is just filled with whatever is in his serums, which probably increases his strength and pain tolerance allowing for him to lift survivors effortlessly.

Charlotte had been carrying Victor around inside her chest for most of her life. Not to mention all that scrap and junk in her bag(?). With the deformity from being conjoined and the back strength built up from all that stuff, I doubt it's much of an issue for her to lift survivors.

Trickster just loves being the center of attention. Lifting improperly is just one of his many was for eyes to land on him. Don't fall for it, it's exactly what he wants.

Nemisis was designed for abuse. He can take gun fire, rockets, and even acid. The guy can probably one arm bench press a tank. He's probably reinforced with so much stuff nothing can stop him. Not even a pulled muscle.

Man that really stretched my creative thinking.

I figured the Entity gave them all a strength boost to lend a helping hand in getting those sacrifices on hooks.

I have not had a sloppy joe in years. They were a rare treat when I was a kid.

Water or a mango-flavored hard lemonade, some flamin' hots or some white cheddar popcorn. Vodka or rum if I'm feelin' spicy.

If I was still a drinking man I’m sure I would get too over excited and fall over something while playing. I preferred warm bourbon.

    Nothing specific to playing DBD.

I'm with you on the coffee, can go a long way. I think the process of just getting up and making it helps more than the coffee itself.

I’ve always been a big coffee fan. They say an apple works well for perking you up too. All that chewing I guess.

  • I had three Dcs in two games back to back. I was playing Hag. Not really sure why they DC’d. They made some good plays and when they were downed they left.

I had a DC against my wraith after I Franklin’D their flashlight. They didn’t like the item drop I guess.

The survivors are pretty much docile & passive to the killers whenever they touch them. I just don't see why they can't use proper carrying techniques at this point.

As a person with lower back issues, these killers are really setting themselves up for issues later on.

  • Wraith with around 120.

lot of other killers with around 50.

Ghost face has 5 left from year three. 7 from year four. And around 20 for year 5.

  • Drag them to the hook kicking and screaming?

  • It’s a mixed bag

  • Sounds interesting. I kinda like it and I hate change. Poor trapper in this scenario.

  • knockout is extremely fun with Ghostface. I find it very comforting.

  • Playing or doing that one thing too much will cause issues a lot of times. Remember there are other games/hobbies to attend to.

  • Why do so many ######### but not just play both sides?

  • It’s great on Hag with her teleporting. It can confuse a survivor in mid chase with her making the survivor decide if she’s still around or not. I’ve gotten some good plays with her. Other than her it has a limited use on Demo for end game surprises. I’ve gotten a few grabs off a gate with it. Other than that I haven’t found any useful plays other than camping. Except end game nurse with noed behind a gate.

  • We get to just deal with it.

  • It will stick around as long as the base will hold. It needs to be rebuilt from the ground up but I doubt they do that.

  • There are a lot of ######### heads and dick wads on survivor side. My personal favorite is raccoon humping, dumpster living sack of bloated trash.

    killers

    myers is big daddy Myers.

    death slinger is dick slinger.

huntress is that ######### ######### who won’t shut the fuc- omg how did she ######### hit me with that ######### hatchet I was around the ######### corner.

  • I stopped putting much faith in survivor actions one game when I was playing Myers. I was stalking and stopped as o realized a Jeff was acting life he was giving a Dwight head while a Kate pointed in the crouching position at Dwights junk. They stopped when I slashed Jeff. It went on for around a minute before I intervened. I guess the survivors were just frustrated.

  • I did not read all your post. Did you mention one of the two girls in the slender man stabbing is being released soon? Impressive amount of content on your part though.

  • I’ve been messing around and running yellow perks only on killers I never really use. Gotta say I suck.

The match was held more than A HOUR.

If that's not holding hostage, I don't know what it is.

Seems like in an hour you’d bleed out even if you were not on the ground but a second. I don’t doubt the killer was an ass but maybe the time is a bit exaggerated. Plus, juggling two survivors that long would be problematic to not bleed out one survivor or have the other survivor not make significant progress on one gen. Something is not exactly adding up.

  • I think the pettiness of some ppl will shine in any environment. If people have to try that hard to make themselves feel like they’ve won something, they can do whatever they need to make themselves feel better.

Myer's being able to swap between his addons for different gameplay is actually pretty nice. I'll do different builds depending on the addons for drastically different styles. Makes me feel like I'm able to actually use more of his addons rather than blowing through more bloodwebs trying to get my hands on afew of the "good" addons like I do with so many other killers.

It’s a shame they didn’t setup other killers in this fashion. Legion would’ve been a good candidate with the multiple people aspect.

  • So many to choose from.

oni. On console. I cannot hit anyone with his club. I can control the running well enough.

huntress. I cannot aim for shite.

spirit. I cannot track anything when phasing.

hag. I cannot hit anyone after teleporting.

death slinger. Also more bad aiming.

Nemesis. Can’t aim the tentacle. If I had that trouble irl then I wouldn’t have so many kids.

nurse. Can’t aim the blinks well enough to time with hits.

  • I think I only ran the infinite Myers a couple of times. I prefer the M&A with a Dead Rabbit build.

Like others have stated, at higher games you won’t really see it much and it’s easier to work around. Starting off it’s difficult to manage. It will help develop your skills as a survivor though.

  • I don’t do well with her. I get 4ks with trapper consistently but Spirit is just a different animal. I don’t have amazing headphones either so maybe that’s the issue.

  • I can’t seem to even land half of my hits when I’m killer so mostly been doing survivor. It’s gotten pretty damn bad. I will be running as a survivor and suddenly I’m running a different way due to a glitch in the matrix or some #########.

Pennywise, Candyman, Pinhead, Xenomorph, Predator, Jason, The Thing, Chucky, this is undoubtedly the big lineup of "Horror from the Decades".

And I know somebody might say "yeah they're cool, but if you put them in all at once then there won't be anything "huge" left from that time to look forward to, so better to stretch them out!"

Which is the idea I seek to address with this discussion.

I hear that, but let me remind: that we haven't seen one of these big Horror from the Decades chapters in a LONG time already. We're already well past the point of "stretching out" and we're well overdue to see another of these figures by now. Pyramid Head & Nemesis arguably don't count because they're video game characters, but even beyond that the first appearance of Pyramid Head was just after the start of the new Millennium, Silent Hill 2 released in 2001. Though it's true RE3 came out a year before the new millennium in 1999 (does that even really count), the version we see is obviously tailored to look basically identical to the one from Resident Evil 3 Remake released in 2020. Tracing further back, Stranger Things takes place in the 80s but it is undoubtedly a modern show, whose first season was released in 2016, and the show itself is ongoing, with season 4 expected around October this year 2021.

The last true chapter we saw that came from this reputable hall of fame of popular characters was Chapter 12's Ghostface. We're already going onto Chapter 21 now, which we could very well be an original chapter so that means the next licensed chapter might be chapter 22 or 23. Ten entire chapters between the last and what could only potentially be the next horror icon, chapter 12 was released June 18th of 2019 it's been a little over two years.

And again, the devs try to do some four chapters every year, two of them licensed and two of them original. Even if the devs did nothing but go down that list of characters, it'd still take 4 full years to get through them all. I don't mean to cast shadows of doubt- but will the game still even be supported in 4 years? Will you, reading this post- still be playing in 4 years? (I mean maybe, I've already been here for 5 lolrip).

It's time for Dead By Daylight to "return to form" and breathe new life back into these beloved characters. With renewed vigor and urgency.

    I approve this message. 👍🏻

  • Agitation and Iron grasp are great for area control on Trapper. Use either hooks with restricted access or basement for easy traps. Perks like whispers and infectious fright can help with information like when to reset traps or set traps. STBFL is good on him too.

  • Infectious is seriously useful on trapper. Glad you agree.

  • I don’t think hex totems should light up until you’re closer to them.

  • Might be a bit rusty. I left for a while and I don’t seem to be able to rank up as fast as I used to. I’m sure you’ll jump up there soon. Like a bike, right?

  • I don’t think she needs a nerf. If she was that powerful everyone would play her. I don’t see her very often and when I do it’s usually a really good game. I think I get sacrificed about half the time so that’s good odds for me.

  • Wraith has a great base kit. I think his speed up addons need a look at.

They’re actually not that awful if you think about the way Wraith is intended to be played.

When played with the hit n run ambush style, the idea is stall should be occurring due to survivors healing often because the last thing you want while working on a gen is to be surprised by Wraith in a one hit state.

Blood Hound lets you see where injured survivors have run off to hide and heal, so you can ambush them later if you catch sight of bright red blood. This is especially useful when survivors are using Iron Will.

Predator is just good for making sure a survivor genuinely can’t juke you mid chase if a chase is committed to.

Shadowborn pretty much ensures survivors are much easier to spot, and cannot hide from you, at all. This is pretty powerful on Wraith: being able to more easily see survivors whilst Wraith is more difficult for survivors to spot.

These perks only lose a lot of their value if Wraith is constantly committing to a chase on a survivor he’s just injured, or worse, a healthy survivor that successfully avoided his super lunge.

    I’m Ghouled_Mojo and I approve this msg.

  • His hooking ability would need some thought.

  • I’m seeing a lot of teammates standing still for some reason. Well into a game, obvious that the killer is no where near them and they just stop and stand around. I was even on a hook one game and it happened. I would say sudden afk but you can see they are looking around. Maybe admiring the craftsmanship of that wall? Or maybe contemplating their navel?

  • I love his base kit. I do think his speed addons need to be removed at this point though.

  • I always forget o have him until I see a post about him like this. I guess I should try to actually use him.

  • Lol. The msgs are going away for sure. Don’t think it’s you. I would say someone is busy though.

  • I run several killers without add-ons but not because they’re bad. I generally only use brown add-ons anyway.

  • I forgot I even had Nemesis. Wasnt what I hoped for.

  • Trapper is ok. I keep losing ppl every time I hit them though, no matter the killer.

  • House of mirrors. It would give a fun play for insidious.
