Offer something else besides cosmetics. I'd rather have, bloodpoints, shards, teachables, maybe even cells as they are all better incentives (to me at least) then a few cosmetics when we have a store for some pretty cool cosmetics for both survivors and killers.
-
No.
Only prestige if you got anywhere around 500,000- 1Mil bloodpoints. ANd plenty of shards for the shrine, otherwise no.
-
For slowdown the game?
Sloppy, Thanthobia, knife + any addon. Any other 2 perks work great.
Hex perks?
Third seal, Ruin(of course) NOED, maybe huntress or DevourHope
Meme?
Insidious, thanta, knockout, MYC. And just camp the hook or slug if needed. Any addons work.
Fool around with various perks, Legion can use other perks besides ones i listed, see which ones work for you.
-
i'd say a 1/4 chance. It be a fun addition to add to the game especially with how many people ask, but at the moment 1v4 is already hard enough to balance. 2v8 would probably be twice at hard to balance.
-
rank 8 pc killer. Takes me 5-6 minutes.
-
DBD2 wont happen for a while. There is still plenty of money to be made for the game we currently play, dlc's, cosmetics, the mobile. It might happen eventually just not for a long while.

No, that was not part of the explanation I was given. So you're saying "something would be taken away" with a free battlepass, which is a contradiction to what I initial read (or at least understood). So a free battle pass, in effect, would lower our current rate of loot accrual?
The loot gain for players with the free battlepass would most likely be slower, it would make sense for the devs to do that to give people more reason to buy the pass. At least thats what i can assume given how little we know about the pass outside its cosmetics.
Loot gain outside the pass probably won't really change. You'd still be gaining points/shards at the same snails pace from before. Which might be bad depending on how much time your able to sink into the game before burnout sets in.

So let's say this battle pass is introduced. Given one version is free, and anyone can get one, would it's net benefit be positive to everyone with zero downside?
It would be a downside for the free players for most part. Usually free means "you want this? welp gotta grind for days/weeks to get this!" which intises players to buy it, given how bad the grind for bloodpoints/shards is at the moment wouldn't suprise me if the grind is even worse for the pass.
-
Leatherface, and Billy. Cause instasaw for billy, and leatherface is just a camper.
-
@LadyMary said:
Mind you, should you receive a stack if someone disconnect ten seconds in?
The killer should recieve a stack. Though preferrably without the aura reading, them Dcing just denies you bloodpoints just to be a dick.
-
The games health is more important to me then the battlepass. I'd rather they work on the bloodpoint/shard grind, and continue balancing out perks/killers/maps then add the battlepass last.
Plus, so far, we only know that there is cosmetics in the pass. Not really enough incentive for me personally when I already have plenty of cosmetics, unless those cosmetics are just holy ######### awesome, or there are teachables within it the pass so far doesn't seem that interesting.

verify your install or reinstall it... otherwise no idea.. maybe check the support forum
Had to verify twice. its working now.
-
Only if the "new goals for players" isn't just a god damn battle pass, and if the pass's grind for free players isn't as bad as the grind for bloodpoints and shards is at the moment.

Spirit for her really good perks

reboot.
tried it. still didn't work. Same error.

I wouldn't say weak, but i would say shes a mid-tier killer at best. The frenzy is only good for getting that first hit in since DW has no real consequence unless survivors make it so (or if you bring the pins which nobody particullary cares for) and w+m1 your target into submission, works pretty well with Dying light.
As for your perks of choice, i'd say its. Alright. Not that great, and not that bad but can be situational though i do recommend trying that combo of perks on a different killer see how it works out for you, have tried that on trapper and it works suprisingly well. Maybe switch out one perk for lightborn, or an exposed perk.
-
mori's, nurse, tunnel/camp, hillbilly/leatherface chainsaw addons, slug
-
adren shouldn't affect a killers power. it already gives you free health state even after been hooked, and it wakes you up. Your suggestion would make it the goto OP perk for survivors.
-
I have been using any mixture of perks. Thantathobia, M&A, Nurse's, Dying Light, Enduring, whispers, stridor, bamboozle, sloppy, discordance, tinkerer, shadowborn, MYC.
Suprisingly enough, i have found much success with this camping build i tried on a whim. LegionPin+Blade for addons Insidious, thanta, MYC, noed/Devour/M&A/Terrirotial/DyingLight.
You just hit the hooked with the frenzy, then chase down the unhooker with w+m1. it actually works pretty well for me against too altruistic teams.
-
#########. No.
Adrens good where it is at the moment.
-
They won't do that simply because they would rather release new content out the door with each chapter patch, something that is more profitable.
Plus, improving the overall health could prove to be an issue in itself. Some choices made in the past either have bias for either side, or just make something worse; and the dbd community itself has bias so its likely whatever changes happen might not be so good for one side.
-
Given how they saved their streams like normal videos it will most likely be same for the anniversary. If not then chances are someone within the community of DBD will upload it.

what killers do you play?
I tend to play legion mostly, though i have been playing almost all killers cept for the few i dont have being (pig, myers, and bubba) for a fair bit i can say i am decent at most of them.
-
Nurse is balanced. but nurse with extra blinks? Nope. Just gonna hide in the locker thank you very much.
-
...Oh for ######### sake. We don't need enduring to change!

That would be a awesome idea.

You say that like its a bad thing. No perk should be an uncounterable catch all "I goofed, good thing I have a get out of jail free card"
I never said it was a bad thing. Just looks really underwhelming to me, and seems to me be a perk to fit a really niche role that might not come up a lot.
-
I wouldn't really call the changes a really good change, more like underwhelming. Its necassary to change aperk with little counterplay yes, but the changes they said they are testing internally (assuming its final version) really looks lackluster, more or less meant for survivors whom are trying to be the distraction type, maybe the type that runs borrowed time and/or WGLF?

OOF! lol if it was only 2 hits instead of three then it would be too powerful for sure. I find that about 65-70% of my games I never even get to use MoM because I died way too quickly or I was the last survivor to get hooked or escape. Most of the time I let the killer hit me at the exit gate while I have MoM just to give them extra bloodpoints.
MoMs main problem is how late into the game it can activate, as far as i can tell at least. If it took less hits to activate then chances of it activating at say 1 gen left would probably be lessened depending on the skill of the killer and what killer used, thats my logic of balancing the perk. One that isn't just "lol, use exposed perks, or these killers that you don't like/have" to counter MoM.
-
i honestly hope that ghost is the last licensed killer for a good long while. I'd rather play hours upon hours to grind the shards and earn the killers rather then just have to buy them outright
-
@[Deleted User] said:
MoM is fine. Most games a survivor will have to purposefully take hits just for MoM to activate before the trial is over. Maybe killer's at low ranks are having problems, but at high ranks it is easy to counter with all the options for instadowns. And even if the survivor gets to use MoM, they now are stuck being injured unless they want to risk having their aura shown and having to loop.
MoM would get a lot less complaints, if it actually just activated on 2 hits instead of three. Theres plenty of perks to help extend or escape the chase, MoM seems to just synergize better with second chance perks, if it activated on less hits it would prob activated really early (1-3 gens)
As it is now. Seeing MoM is just clear sign your better off breaking chase and heading to someone else, or if your a dick like me just have insidious and just camp them for the salt since they couldn't use it XD

@GenSim12345 The concept of faith when it comes to the devs and players is not a good idea. Considering there are huge chunks of different skills grounds and people with differing opinions within every rank of the game. I'm sure they have as much faith in the killer community as they do in the survivor community, they can't afford/risk to have a bias
If you think they can't afford/risk to be bias then do explain to me, why is it that there are many killers who complain that the Devs cater to the survivors?
Explain to me how despite the wide spectrum of survivors and killers complaining about the Legion and Pigs changes during the PTB hardly nothing was changed?
Or how, despite DS promoting killers from not tunneling and able to be paired up with very great second chance perks. MoM was released as yet another Anti-tunnel perk that didnt even need to exist because DS does what it did but much more balanced at this point, and many people view it as being just an excuse for players to throw money at Ash?
Or everyones favorite, "Go Play civ" meme involving this game?
Most killers don't belive their voices will be heard by the devs, how the ######### is that not losing faith and/or trust in the devs?
-
Its not really about if the Freddy rework will kill him or not.
The devs have lost the faith in a huge portion of the killer community and everyone is expecting them to fail specatulary and rush it out the door. The legion and Pig changes have only amplified that feeling.
-
Legion to me, is right down in the meh territory. Not good, but not bad either. The power is just a maybe when it comes to helping out in the chase, thanta, sloppy, m/a just works so well on legion.
Post patch legion however, to me just seems to have no incentive to spread that damage not when i can just tunnel someone and just slug them and hide nearby to use them as bait. The dw mechanics now give me no incentive to spread the damage unlike before, and just seem to promote tunneling iunstead doubly so when i have a mori.
-
Calm spirit/Urban evasion/SpineChill/IronWill is perfect for stealth builds least for me.
Against Legion, running resilence/Thiscan'tbehappening tends to work out pretty well. Maybe stake out too.
Doctor - Calm/StakeOut/Iron/Spinechill or BT is what i run most times i am against them
-
DIstressing, overcharge, unnerving presence always good on doc. Just make sure to put them all in madness 3 as much as possible.
Corrupt intervention, sloppy or thanta are usually good on doctor for slowing the game down a bit more if your not fan of ruin.
infectious fright or knockout are good for if you want to slug people as a doc.
Brutal/Endur/Fury/Bamboozle are all good if you want to deal with pallets/window loops besides just shocking people.

I did with Pig, Myers, Legion, Hell I can even do it with Freddy. Not every game is going to be a 4k my dude... It depends on each situation and the skill of each survivor.
I never said anything about a 4k. And i never said you couldn't. I said it was difficult.
-
Its a good perk. Actually it works suprisingly well on the new legion. Freddy/Hag can make most use out of it, especially with tinkerer or discordance.

@Dwight_Confusion How is it fine that a killer can 1 hook every survivor and kill them after they've been unhooked?
that addon is very rare. Usually you won't see it at higher ranks, not eboni, usually its the gree moris you will fine. Least in my experience.

Apply pressure and you'll notice that "gen rushing" vanish before your very eyes!
Its hard to apply pressure with certain killers that are not Billy/Nurse with all the second chance perks that survivors have.
-
it be used to derank, and NOED would be far worse then before as it could be activated at anytime.
-
Survivors wont be satisfied till every killer is completely weak.
-
No there hasnt been any change to gen rush. Unless you count pigs nerf as a buff to gen rushing but that's kinda pushing it.
-
am 25% survivor. I can't be bothered with survivor most times, its not exactly a fun experience with solo, bad teammates, or hearing that damn chainsaw from billy for the 100th time.
-
I would recommend saving your money by holding off on buying them for a fair bit before buying ghostface, see if the devs give them nerfs before buying them.
As for ghosty himself, hes ok? The gameplay style looks like a hybrid between Pig and Myers, which seems kinda cool. I can only really predict ghost being a better jumpscare myers then myers is. 🤣
-
the power looks kinda weak tbh. Unless he doesn't have a terror radius, and ghost has exposed on the power?
that and might be easy to farm bloodpoints with.
-
@Boss said:
I find it sad that they thought M1 attacks specifically were attacks that needed a counter.
I am more suprised that it doesn't counter powers tbh. If it could, i could see it being useful against things like nurse/billy's powers.

@Milo MoM is bad for the same reason is bad.
No further feedback is required, because you can apply the feedback from Legion of how something unfun and can't be countered is a detriment to the enjoyment factor of this game.
Nobody's really asking to nerf MoM (a few people are but not a lot). Everyone just wants the perk to have some form of counter play that all killers can perform. It isn't a ridiculous or difficult request that should require months of feedback that has already been gathered from a similar experience.
How WOULD you nerf MoM? Only way i see it being balanced is if its activated in 1/2 hits so its used much earlier in the game (1-3 gens early). But that is just me.
-
That doesn't sound like its intended. Its probably a bug, its supposed to work after the last gens done or when the hatch has been closed.

Just read the tittle and thats it i wont read this 231 time post if MoM was powerfull then the percent of perk most used was self care but no MoM so if you think that its powerful then youre just bad killer you said that players force to play nurse and billy youre wrong the were alot of billy and nurses when MoM was not introduced so dont lie you think that mom its unfun wow you didint play no survivor the most unfun games is to see the SAME killers over and over again thats boring
And here we see yet another survivor defending Mom with poor points, and calling the OP bad, therethore anything you say is null and void because you want to start #########. Let us all point and laugh at this remarkably bad post because holy #########, it is so bad i cannot even be ######### to try and counter its paper-thin arguements XD
