That could be rally cool.
And this game isn't furbait as it is, obviously.
Chef Killer, nice choice
-
One slows down survivors, the other speeds up the kill for a moment
Pink: Throw it at survivors and they'll scream and slow them down for a moment.
Yellow: When thrown, the gas is white, but it will soon turn yellow. When it does, go through it and it speeds you up a bit for a few seconds. But it can speed up survivors too if they go through it, so be careful where you throw it. Its best to throw it ahead of yourself so by the time you reach it it'll be ready

A killer with the power to stop people from doing the 99% doors thing and blocks the hatch as perks.
I just want a perk that lets you break a small number of pallets before they're used
-
There's still a chance Candyman can come. They were heavily dropping hints of it last year, maybe the movie delay caused a chapter delay?
I just feel all that hinting must've been for something.

I want a Wizard or a Pirate, also an Alien or a Killer Robot is what is missing in dbd.
The Hag feels kinda like a witch. Swamps, bones, weird symbols.
Also, i once heard the Devs say they're waiting for a Pirate killer
-
i saw them, but they looked improved to me, like they had a rework. There was a glitch i saw where its body and face was all flat, but it stopped after i was done using it
-
They're fixing the issues with the next Hotfix
I also want to know more about Chapter 19, hopefully we'll get something this week. C'mon guys! Cough up the 19 already!
As for new maps, they say they're not making new maps so they can rework existing ones. So for now, reworked maps are our new maps.

It's never happening thanks to the stabbing incident.
That wasn't the makers fault. It didn't stop the movie being made

Jeepers Creepers, no way, never

Maybe a Spider-killer?...Or worse...a human wasp 😰
-
Personally, I'd like a Scarecrow killer, imagine a tall thin guy with a sack tied around his head in ripped clothing stuffed with straw and using a scythe as a weapon? That'd be creepy
-
I don't think its the Nurse, but Infectious Fright that is unbalanced, i've been thinking that for a while
-
if you're new, just say you're new and hopefully they'll backoff
or just say 'you didn't stop to asked if i cared', or 'i was gonna say gg, but if you wanna be a sore winner about it, then whatever'
Most survivors in the game are jerks with big mouths and very small...you know 😕....
and if you get trash messages for winning like 'nice camping/tunneling' or something like that, just remember this, they're survivors, they deserve it. You play for yourself, not for them.
-
I'm not bothered by them at all.

Until we get any leaks or hints that say otherwise I'm gonna assume next chapter is licensed because we already got 2 og chapters in a row.
We got a whole year of OGs once

The brown add-on that shows you where you are blinking helps me with this kind of issue
-
The breakable walls are fine with me

For god's sake, you guys are never happy with what they do

I think we're only gonna get the teaser for it within the next week.
Either tomorrow or next week, i imagine. Sometimes we get stuff like that on a Friday, thats why i'm throwing tomorrow in. I'm not holding my breath, but there's always a chance

TBH if you’re a good player you know who is who all the time even if you were to play without a hud. If you aren’t a good player then hud is the last of your problems lol
The white silhouette heads were just a bit plain
-
I know, right?
I'll admit, the hitboxes are weird right now, but even if they weren't, Survivor mains always complain when Killers get any kind of improvement. Sure, when Killers get nerfed, they stay quiet. But when Killers get something good, they never shut up
You know Killers are meant to have a chance at winning too, right? Door swings both ways and all that

Lol, no. It's a tactic, there even achievement for body blocking and taking hits while kiler is carrying a survivor.
Still, 3 gens left and they're trying to deny the killer a hook...kinda poor sport
-
Thank god, body blocking is toxic

Simple: the new animations don’t look more realistic to me. They look generic as hell, and some of them are completely awkward (standing still, injured running), robotic, cheap and amateur.
Even if they did look more realistic, realism is not the reason I loved DbD until two days ago. Previous animations looked just right, a perfect mix of scare and goofiness, and they were actually one of the reasons I fell in love with DbD in the first place.
Thats fair enough, i just hope they don't give us the white silhouette survivor icons, i like seeing who is who

most people don't have an issue with showing portraits. most people have an issue with the spread out information, and some have a problem with that and the overall aesthetic being a direct qualitative downgrade from what we had previously.
there's your reasonable answer
Alright, take a breath

if you can't see how soulless and bland the new HuD is, on top of how it spreads out crucial information too much, I don't know what to say to you other than go work for BHVR. you'd fit right in.
No need for insults, i'm just asking
-
@shyguyy said:
Character movement feels clunky and awkward. Animations are stiff. Wounded running animation looks like you really gotta go to the bathroom. 360s are basically dead. No one asked for movement to look more realistic, the older running and wounded animations looked better.
The HUD is an absolute mess. Not the looks of anything but the placement of it. Before all you needed to do was look down to the left and you had all the info you needed - # of gens remaining, survivor health states, item and power charges. I play on a 32 inch monitor and I don't want to have to look everywhere on my screen to get info when it was all neatly in one place before.
But more importantly. No one asked for this. I have legit never seen anyone complain about the hud or how unrealistic survivors looked when they are. They spent time and money on this. The definition of wasted development time, especially when you consider how many other things are in dire need of attention.
I think it was about clearity. Items, survivors and gen count placements i get, but those white silhouettes didn't help much when trying to identify certain players, you only had to rely on the name back then

@Horror_Gaming said:
This is from console perspective
Hit boxes as stated before are not connecting atm on the survivors acreen
The hook timer is pretty much invisible due to it being so minuscule on the top left. Making it harder for players to know how much time is left.
There is a brief pause when moving from the dying to injured state allowing the killer to easily close the gap on a slug play through.
360s have been removed with the new animation along with turns in general
And again hit boxes are atrocious but every player who isn’t a Dev knows hit boxes have never felt well FAIR
Are 360s even meant to be a thing?

What about dragonfly wings for hag? I love that add on
You can keep using them, but i think the ones i mentioned are better, for me anyway. They trigger traps without knowing and you can go to any of them, no matter how far, whenever you want.

@GannTM said:
Unfortunately, there isn't a killer in the game that you can play as without having to worry about some kind of toxicity. Survivors will get salty and call you a tunneler and/or camper even if you play your fairest game ever. Obviously, you would have more of a chance to get toxicity when you play Spirit, Freddy, or Deathslinger, but chances are many of those people that get toxic against them are just toxic all the time. Play whoever you want and don't let other people ruin your experience.
Yeah, what this person said
-
Feed off that hate, those survivors are complaining because you won and they couldn't do their usual toxic Survivors bs. Don't avoid the toxicity they give you for winning, ignore it or laugh at it.
Whenever i get messages for winning, i just think 'I still win' and say 'you didn't stop to ask if i cared'. If you have the chance to bring survivors down, do it, because they won't hold back trying to ruin your game, believe me
Also, best add-ons for Nurse and Hag are (Nurse: Brown add-on that lets you see where you're blinking to / green add-on that lets you move at faster speed after a blink hit) I can't remember the names, k?
And (Hag: Mint Rag / Rusty shackles)
if their upset that you got them, its their problem! killers are here to kill, not follow their stupid made-up rulebook.

She's the strongest killer provided you put in the work to get good at her.
"anyone" cannot simply pick up any of the other killers and just be good at them. All of the killers require practice. The difference between most killers and Nurse is the degree of practice needed. She has the potential to be incredibly strong, this strength that shouldn't just be handed to players. You should, and do, have to work to be a good Nurse.
If people aren't willing to dedicate the time to learn her then that is an issue with them, not The Nurse.
You're right when you say every player needs to practice with every killer, but i just feel the Nurse requires too much than needed

I don't mean to sound rude but this just means that you aren't an experienced enough Nurse player.
Making her easier for newer players to grasp would only make her far too powerful in the hands of a good Nurse player.
I'm not a Nurse main, no. But what i'm saying is that anyone can play any of the other killers, but Nurse is the most frustrating out of all of them. If you've seen the rates the Devs release sometime, you'll usually find Nurse as one of the least played killers, this is probably because Nurse is too hard

were you on console aswell?
I love the idea of getting nurse's adept by using the thing that removes her power... XD
Yeah, i was
-
@Nazeef13 said:
Nurse still has no chase counterplay at the skill ceiling so there is no need to buff her.
Maybe Buff was the wrong word, what i meant was a small rework to make her more playable
-
@Alice_pbg said:
was I the nurse? this sounds like my nurse games...
I got brutal with her today and went "hey, that's an improvement!"
aahh... I'm never getting her adept 😂😂😭
The addons i used to get it were 'the brown one that lets you see where your blinking to', and 'the green bottle that lest you move faster after a blink hit', then its about finding a team that look simple and not SWF, 'ei avoid teams that come in all together, keys, more than one touch. And you'll know if their toxic by the strange outfits they wear. meaning If you see something like a Neon Nea, run for it'
Having said this, i'm not saying Nurse is completely unplayable, i just think she could use some work
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
She doesn't need any buffs.
The Nurse is undoubtly the best killer in the game. Although she comes with the highest skill cap. She's very difficult to master but when played right, will completely destroy a good survivor team.
To me, she's not what i would call 'the best', she's painfully slow and her ability is a bit too hard to to use at times, she sometimes gets stuck or you end up in the wrong place. I just think Nurse is a bit too difficult, especially for newer players, and the devs should think about lowering that difficulty
-
@[Deleted User] said:
All she's getting is a graphical update.
If she gets an actual power rework there's nothing there at the moment. She serves as the sweat-lords idol for now. Something to be achieved, high skill-cap and skill base.
Nothing there for the Huntress either, but thats still being done
-
@HollowsGrief said:
They aren't updating her game play or anything like that, she is getting a graphical rework, just like the maps and all other killers/survivors are going to get it sooner or later as well.
I know its just her appearance, i'm talking about her rework later, like how the other killers are being reworked
-
Most Survivors are A-holes, right?
-
I think people like killing Ash because he's rare to see in the game now. Because everyone wants to kill an icon like Ash, so now i think people are avoiding Ash so they don't get attention.
Also, i play as killer on console and its the Survivors who are being A-holes, i'm just trying to enjoy the game.
Speaking of Toxicity, lets look how the Survivors abuse it. I used to play fair to the Survivors until they decided to not do the same. Body blocks, looping, and they taunt me for it...as if they never had bad runs as killer before. They get so full of themselves and think they're un-killable, it's literally the worst thing when playing as Killer. And its not just to Killers they act like that, i can't tell you how many times i've been left for dead or sold out to the killer over nothing, even if i do everything i can to help them. I don't know if its because i play Claudette and everyone is racist or what, but its unfair. Survivors should take victory with dignity and have more respect for the killer players.
If they were tunneling and camping early in the match, then i get it, but i don't do that, so why do players like me get so much hate?

No, I'm hoping its either Original or Resident Evil

her texture gets a little finetuning, thats all.
the character design itself stays untouched - she just looks a lot more realistic in her default clothing now.
personally, i quite like the changes she and Clown receive to their base cosmetics.
I don't have a problem with it, there outfit just looks a bit too...poofy?...for a nurse.
