I play on PS4 and most killers don't run Devour Hope. Also, there are toxic killers on every system. PC is no exception.
-
Since the first rift, the devs said it could be completed if someone played like an hour every day. That was a lie and now, as we are on the 4th one. I completed the previous ones, without having to spend any money and I hope this time will be the same, but it takes too long to reach level 70. They could either cut the tiers to 50 (because let's face it, some of those charms are not good) or make it easier to level up. I like the game, but it is too time consuming, if you want to complete every rift, without paying for tiers, of course.
-
I don't see the need for a buff to gen speed. If the killer is camping, Kindred already shows it to survivors so they can choose to fix instead of going for the save.
-
It's even worse when the survivor, before going for the unsafe save, runs the killer around the hook, preventing any other survivors to actually do a safe save. The person spotted could lead the killer away, but they want the save so badly they will do it no matter the cost.

No we need to remove SWF. That alone would solve 99.9% of problems in this game.
That wouldn't change what survivors do. They would still fix gens, cleanse totems and search chests. I believe a new objective or a new twist on what we have would make this more interesting and maybe make it so there wouldn't be as much genrush, which would also benefit the killer.

Not quite.
For example, take the Huntress.
All 3 of her teachables suck and I don't want any of them. As such I am now completely unable to level her up because my bloodweb contains her teachables and I'm forced to take one of them to get to the next level. I can't prestige her either to fix it because I'm not level 50 yet.
This is not a hypothetical, I'm literally stuck unable to level Huntress without getting one of her useless techables and would need to use this feature to fix the issue.
Well, I had not thought of that happening, but you might be right. I mean, if they introduced the option to disable perks, people would only use it if they wanted. Thanks for pointing this out to me. You have changed my mind.
-
Teachables are unlocked because the player wanted it, so I don't see the need to disable them. Just don't buy them in the first place.
-
Haddonfield could use some rework. Maybe breakables could actually help, but I don't want the map to be gone, at all.
-
I like the ideas, except having to use rare or ultra rare add-ons.
-
I play on PS4 and can't say, so far, I saw much difference between playing with crossplay or not, but that might change in the future.
-
I only bought a set for Cheryl and it was because I didn't know what the symbol meant. I like to mix and match the clothes, so I'm avoiding to buy anything else that is a set or else in the future they will be all over the place and the old mix and match will be dead.
-
It was fun to see which ones I would cut or keep. Some were easy, others were hard. I never liked Hillbilly or LF much (bye Chili ;-;) and most killers I kept were the ones I enjoy to play more, except the Nurse, which I hate to play, but like to go against.
-
It should be easier to progress, not back to almost as grindy as the first tome we had...

They just need to do what the Mobile version did. Someone DC's, it creates a husk of the survivor controlled by the AI. At least then, the killer still gets hook points and survivors are no longer a man down.
I agree. This would be the best solution.
-
I don't usually care if they don't struggle, because by the time I pick them up, I already made my mind about either killing them or taking them to the hatch. Most time, I just kill the survivor. And as me for a survivor, I wiggle, mostly because you get points for that, but seeing so many people voting that the end up not killing the people who don't struggle, I might change my mind.
-
I voted Leon, because I think he would fit the best in DBD, but Jill is also a good choice.
-
20% is way too much.
-
This is a good question. I enjoy the game (sometimes), I enjoy the clothes and characters overall, I have invested a lot of time already and so I keep playing. Also, my friends play the game too and sometimes we play together (they usually play less days than me, but we enjoy when we can play together and see who will mess things up and end up making us all die)
-
Everyone is terrible, I agree. At least we all have that in common.
-
The rituals are random and I usually get killer rituals, much more than survivor ones. Some rituals I always skip, like playing the Nurse and some are very easy to do. Freddy's one is the same as just play as him, nothing else required, really. I wish when we log on it would ask if we want a killer or suvivor ritual, because some people only play 1 role and then they are stuck with a lot of rituals for the other role. And even if you refresh it, which you can do once a day, you might get another ritual for the same role anyway...
-
Not many. I have seen him less than before, that is true. But since I hate how loud he is now, with his chainsaw and him screaming, I'm glad. (I don't hate the killer, but the chainsaw could make less noise, like before and his screws are not needed at all)
-
DS was already changed once and it has counters. Don't chase the same survivor who was already hooked or down the survivor and don't pick him or her up before the time expires. If it was changed to "unlimited time, unless you touch a gen or heal someone", then you would see survivors with 1 gen left not doing gens, waiting and then using DS when they wanted. Then killers would complain more...
-
I would love a Psycho chapter. I could see Norman turning into his mother, like a special power, to attack survivors. I just don't see Lila as being an iconic survivor. Marion would be a better choice, in my opinion.
-
The survivors objective is to do gens. If a killer is chasing someone, are the other survivors supposed to be doing what? Dance? If gens are going fast, it's because they are doing what they should.
-
So you chose Freddy, who gets better with perks from other killers. I like to use Discordance, from the Legion, since if 2 survivors are on the gen at the same time, you get a notification and can just teleport there. As for the Plague, since she is not a licensed killer, if you save 9000 shards you can use them to buy her.
-
I don't hate it, but I don't like it either. It's confusing and some rooms are just a death trap, like running in a room, being chased, then discovering the other exit is a door that can be destroyed, but it wasn't and there is no pallet, so the killer can easily hurt or down you.
-
Resident Evil could have potential, at least for survivors. Nemesis as killer, I don't know, he would have to be something very different from the Oni.
-
As a killer, I enjoy playing Freddy more than the Plague.
-
There are a lot of times where a 1 kill match turns into 2 or more because of people trying to save others in the endgame. I mean, if the killer doesn't have noed and it's not only me and another player left and they are not hooked on the other side of the map, ok, I will try to help, but if the killer has NOED and is camping or there is no one else alive but me and the other hooked player being camped, I don't see the point. Just escape and let the killer get the kill.
Now, the only time I throw logic out the window is when playing with friends and even if they are far away, fc with a noed killer, I will try my best to save them, like they try to save me, which most times results in the killer not only downing my friend again, but me too, so he gets both kills. But at least we tried...
-
I don't like most of the bloody clothes, so that is why I rarely use them and also, there are a lot of other costume options for the characters.
-
Finding lobbies faster is true, both I have been getting rank 20 killers and I'm rank 3. I know that now ranks are not used to match people, but really, is the new system saying that I'm on the same level as someone that is at the lowest rank as a killer? Or maybe the killer is rank 20, but as good as killers in the red ranks? Come on. It feels bad go against people that are still learning the early stages of the game and most matches end with everyone surviving and the killer having a miserable time.
-
It's very rare for me to use the bloody clothes, especially since there are so many good outfits for the characters in the shop.
-
I use all of them and have every survivor at P3 lv 50. Planning to do the same with the killers. As for the old items being lost, I don't care about it at all.
-
I agree with removing the button mashing. Just make it so we only need to press a button. It's easy and it doesn't destroy keyboards or damage controllers in the long run.
-
I agree that if killers are locked, survivors should too, but my only problem is something that happens with me a lot of times. I start searching for a lobby, as survivor and start using blood points, sometimes in characters I prestiged, to level them up and get some perks. And a lot of times it takes a while to find a lobby, but when it does, I switch back to the character I was using before, since probably the new character doesn't have the perks I want yet and I want to keep leveling them at another time.
In the survivor lock scenario, I would get stuck with the character I was leveling. That is my only complain. Now, seeing the downside for killers, with toxic people switching at the last minute and bringing keys or something else, I have to agree that having the character I was leveling locked is a small price and that, in the general interest of everyone, the survivor should be locked in too.
-
I like charms for the hooks, but for survivors they are mostly not visible, so I don't care much.
-
I haven't played killer after the update, but the auras seems way worse than before for the survivors, so I will assume it's the same for killers.
-
My favorite survivor is Kate, but I play as every survivor or else my offerings will run out.
-
I agree that survivors should leave, if the gates are open and the other survivors are safe, just go. Most times, as both survivor and killer, I just see people waiting there to t-bag the killer, which is toxic. Just leave and go find another match.
-
A new player mode would be nice, but being on kill your friends, we wouldn't get any bloodpoints and that I don't like.
-
Since the cosmetics shop was introduced, I never used the shrine again. Saving my shards to buy some comestics. But for people who use it, I agree that some changes should be made.

its no their fault of course but neither killers fault as devs way to hurt em its by money losing killer bully to newbies are totally valid.
How is bullying newbies a valid solution change anything? These are people that just bought the game or don't have much experience with it. They don't care or maybe even know of any changes or what was before those changes. They just want to play the game they spent money on. Imagine that you buy a new game, any other game and when you play, because some players are upset, they make your ingame life miserable. Would that be fun to you? Because it would not be fun to me. Being a bully is not the solution in real life, nor in a game.
-
These were all good choices, for bad things other survivors do. I chose ones working with the killer, because they know what they are doing and they choose to betray others for their own benefit. I haven't gotten many survivors like that, but they are usually the ones using Bond. Other things survivors do, like suiciding, missing several checks or hiding a lot is also not good, but I don't think it's because they want to screw the team, but because they are impatient, no focused or afraid of everything.
-
With the Silent Hill chapter cosmetics, I accepted, because the linked cosmetics seemed to be part of the deal. But now, there are more coming out. Pretty soon, I see 50% of the cosmetics being linked, because it's easier to just make the clothes and link them, so the devs don't have to see if they clip with other already existing clothes. I bought one outfit for Cheryl before I understood that it was linked or else I wouldn't have bought it. I don't plan on buying any other linked cosmetics and if people do the same, the devs might get the hint and stop making them that way.
-
No, making it an hex would be terrible.
-
I never buy killer cosmetics, but for the people that do, I can see some being interested in this.
-
Promoting camping and ruining people's game is not the way to go. How is the new players fault that they nerfed a killer? Or people just wanting to have fun? Honestly, if you want to take an action, stop playing the game. You don't like the changes, leave the game, go play something else.
-
Billy is very powerful, so something to keep him in check might be good. We will see, when the PTB starts.
-
Use the cakes now, get points, level up, get more cakes before the event ends.
-
It's true that some players are still being toxic when there are 3 or more cakes in play. Yesterday, I was playing survivor with 2 friends. A Pyramid Head got one of my friends and from then on tunneled him until he was dead. Then, did the same thing for the other survivor. Me and my other friend escape. There were 4 cakes in play and I didn't understand why the killer tunneled and camped like that. Just ruins the fun and steals the possible points from the survivors.
Of course, the survivors can also be toxic. They see 4 cakes and farm their teammates sometimes, making them die sooner, so that is not ok either. But mostly, I have seen killers either desperate to get kills or just wanting to screw the survivors, since they know they really want to get points.
