  • First thing, they are smaller than the male characters, so they are harder to spot. Also, they usually have better comestics.

  • This is not ok. The Silent Hill ones, since it was a demand from Konami, ok, we had to take and no complaints would do anything. But now it's Nea. There is no reason to make the costumes linked. It ruins the fun of mixing the cosmetics.

  • Of course I feel empathy for the player, at least most times. If the killer was fair, but things went wrong or sometimes if a survivor is just unlucky, being farmed by the team, being the one found time after time, it's sad for them. When playing survivor, 99% of the time, I don't t-bag or do anything to be toxic to the killer. Of course if I ran them around for a long time, they might consider that as annoying, but it's not toxic.

Meanwhile, I see survivors t-bagging at every pallet, at missed attacks and at the gates and still don't understand why people do this. With Ghostface, I see him t-bagging too, sometimes unprovoked. Killers trying to hit survivors that are hooked (not that they can do it now, but they try). People need to try to be more civil to each other. Behind every character there's a person with feelings.

  • I loved Friday the 13th the Game, even thought it had a lot of problems with bugs right from the start. And then the lawsuit just took care of the rest.

  • I hope they release it as soon as possible. Lots of cakes being used and points going to waste because of the bug.

  • From what I read, you need to stop and take a break. Really, if the game is affecting you this way, it's better to stop for some time. I have been playing the game for more than 2 years and twice I have taken a break for a month from the game, because it was stressing me out so much. It helped a lot. When I felt ready, I came back and if I get stressed out again, I'll stop. No game is worth hurting your health like that.

  • So don't improve any perks and just nerf perks, so instead of strong perks, we end up with only medium perks? ...

  • I haven't used a single one yet, waiting for them to be fixed. I mean, you use them now, you get 140% more BP, use them later and everyone in the match gets 104% more BP, which is a massive difference. But a lot of people are using them now. I hope they fix it fast, because the truth is in the long run we are losing a lot of BP because of the bug, especially when I see now 3 people in the same match using them. I get 0% more BP, while if the bug was fixed, I would get 312% more BP...

  • I play on PS4 and sometimes I get pings that are over 300, even when playing alone. Like, I get two matches in a row with a good ping, below 100, then suddenly there is a match that the ping spikes and I only notice it when I'm already in the match. It's really annoying, especially when the ping decides to became even worse, like 500 and you are stuck playing the match teleporting everywhere or freezing in place or you quit and get a penalty.

  • I hope it doesn't get nerfed. I use Spine Chill because of stealth killers. If Spine Chill doesn't activate against them, then what is the point of using it? For the other killers you can just hear the terror radius and know they are close, you wouldn't need the perk.

  • I feel his power and the way it is revealed is not consistent. I have had matches were I look directly at him, nothing in betweens us and nothing happens. Others, just a glimpse at him and the reveal process starts. I have had matches were I am being chased, the chase music is on and later, when he hits me, it plays the sound of him getting of the stalk, which makes no sense, if he was already chasing me and I dropped a pallet and I saw him way before he hit me.

  • I always liked Empathy better and use it almost all the time. It has many different uses, seeing where hurt survivors are to heal them or to just know where they are and what they are doing and of course, if someone gets hurt, it shows and you know where the killer is. Also, the range is not as limited as Bond.

  • I mean, in my opinion, both sides were on the wrong here. The survivor, even if they have BT, should not be saving the others in front of the killer, unless the killer is camping and there is no other option. And the killer, seeing how that survivor was just farming his teammates, could have chosen to punish that survivor by going after them, instead of just tunneling the people that were unhooked. Choosing to tunnel and then send a message to the survivor, what was the expectation? That they would admit they should not have farmed, but would not mention that the killer tunneled?

  • I'm at a high rank and I use self-care on all my survivors. And I think I shouldn't be at a high rank, for sure, but that is where the game puts me based on the amount of time and matches I play. I'm not very good at looping, so if I'm hurt, usually the killer downs me quite fast. If I'm healthy, I can last longer and makes me do less mistakes, because I won't be panicked that a single attack will put me down.

Also, sometimes there are no survivors around to heal me and if I have to spend time looking for them, I might as well start healing myself. Of course not every situtation is good to use selfcare. For example, we need 1 gen left to finish, I will just do the gen instead of healing, but at 5 gens I will heal myself because if not, I will probably not get to see when there's only 1 gen left to do.

  • I mean, if they never existed from the start, no one would quit because of something that they never had. Now, if the devs decided to remove them now, I believe that a lot of people would decide to quit, yes, because it would change the game a lot and not everyone would want to adapt. In my case, I would try to see if the game still worked well, in my opinion or it would be too hard or too unfair without any perks.

  • I also think the are too many things being released and not enough quality. In the Q&A I see a lot of questions with answers that the team knows about something, but didn't have time to implement something or fix something. Slow done the DLC releases. We don't need so many killers, survivors and perks being released per year. Make what we already have better, instead of releasing mediocre new things that just clutter the game.

  • I never thought of that, but you may be right. I do like this loading screen much more than the one before and new ones would be cool. Better than some useless charms as rewards.

  • From these two, I chose Bond, but I personally like Empathy better. It can cover the entire map and when it lights up, you know where someone is and that the killer is there too. Also, you can see their aura from far away and go heal them, if you want.

  • I like playing Leatherface more than the Hillbilly, but I think the Hillbilly is stronger in most ways.

  • You will spend more time dodging and obsessing if those players are SWF or not, that actually playing, but it's your choice...

  • I don't like the struggle mechanic at all and never had. The skillchecks, like in the cage, are much better.

  • It's strange that they try to balance the game and perks around the existing killers, then release a killer that just voids a lot of perks if he decides to cage someone. DS doesn't work, WGLF doesn't work, We'll make it or BT neither and now Adrenaline too. I guess some of them not working is alright, but others are not ok. Adrenaline being wasted should not be a thing and WGLF should give you stacks anyway, since the perk doesn't have any other use.

  • I don't agree with targeting Lisa players, just because of the character they are using. It's not fair at all.

  • I use self care and I don't really care what people think. I don't always have medkits to bring, can't hope to find one in a chest or be close to someone for them to heal me and sometimes even when I find other survivors, they don't heal me, so I don't need anyone else to heal me. It takes a few seconds? Yes, but it would be worse for me to be found hurt and downed quickly because I couldn't evade the killer for long.

  • The penalty is working as intended. Doesn't matter if the killer was toxic or not, if people disconnect, they have a penalty, otherwise, like in the past, people would just do this to give the hatch to a teammate even if the killer was playing fair and wasn't toxic at all.

  • I rarely get a killer that wants to farm and I'm not bothered at all to get easy points. As killer, I farmed some of the harder challenges that I was not able to do in normal gameplay. I tried to message the survivors before the match started, but some have messages blocked, some don't respond and there's also times where it's not possible to message everyone, because there is not enough time.

  • Not all SWF play with coms to communicate. I play with people from different countries, that don't speak the same language as me. We text sometimes, but we don't use the coms. So, should we also get nerfed? The answer to everything seems to be nerf this, nerf that. Maybe people just want to play with their friends. Me and my friends are not toxic, we just want to play together, that's all. Making things worse for a group of survivors, just because they are playing together doesn't make sense to me, because not every SWF is the same.

  • I got to tier 70 two days ago and have all challenges done.

  • I had a match were I was hooked and got to struggle phase, then was saved and ended up surviving. If I was hooked again, I would have died, but the game did mark the challenge as complete. After almost 10 matches, I was hooked twice, then escaped and it gave me the reward. So, from what I can see, the game is only counting if we are hooked twice before escaping, which makes no sense. They could have made the challenge just escape as Kate, but no, they had to try to make it even harder for no reason.

  • Playing killer is much stressful than playing survivor, at least for me. I'm playing killer more now, to do the challenges, but I have to switch between the roles, because a lot of killer rounds in a row is torture. As a survivor, even when you mess up, the other survivors can help you out, but as a killer, you mess up, too bad for you. Also, getting t-bagged after every pallet dropped is just toxic and most of the survivors I go against do this, even just when I found them at the start, first pallet down, the t-bagging starts...

Claudette win i think because it mirrors the cosmetic department's latest trend in less clothes equals more money.

I would like the devs to choose the finalists with some kind of poll that the community can vote on to choose the winners

I agree that the community should vote. I was disappointed that the Claudette cosmetic won. It does not fit her character and it's not that inspired, I saw some really good ideas for costumes and have no idea why they chose that, besides them thinking "well, this one will be easy to make, so let's choose it". Let the people vote and choose what they want to be in the game.

  • I knew the design from Pyramid Head, but never played a Silent Hill game. Still, I don't think the chapter seems bad, so I want to check it out. I also wasn't familiar with the Saw franchise or much of Halloween before I started playing this game, so it ended up opening my mind to these franchises. I hope this new chapter will do this for me and other people not familiar with Silent Hill.

  • I got a few of those afk Wraiths. The last one I got, match started as normal, we began fixing. I was using Spine Chill and after moving to another gen, the perk lit up, so I knew the killer was near, but he did nothing. Then, one of the other survivors was trying to destroy a totem, that was between walls that can be body blocked and that was what the killer did, so the survivor could not get out, nor could we help. So we fixed the gens and left. The survivor died after the endgame collapse. If I see killers or survivors afk for the whole match, I always report them at the end, using the ingame report.

  • I hope crossplay will be something good, for everyone and will cut the wait times for both sides.

  • I agree that new players coming to DBD now will have a hard time. It's a lot to learn, both on the killer and survivor side. Perks, maps, loops, etc. Too many survivors, too many killers, too many perks, too many maps and strategies. But a game going for the 4th year, it's expected to have a lot of things to learn. Anyway, sometimes I think the devs should slow down a bit on the new killers and survivors and give us better ajustments to the game, to benefit old and new players.

  • While it is frustrating to go against players that have much higher rank, it's all not the survivors fault that they are matched with a killer from a lower rank. Facecamping them, in my opinion, is not only not fun, but ends up being unfair to the survivors too. Not everyone is toxic or needs to be.

  • Of course, playing survivor, I don't like them. Yesterday I played against a Huntress that camped and had insta down hatchets, so no one could do saves at all.

  • For fixing, they have been nerfed a lot, but sometimes, in those last desperate seconds, they might come in handy. I now use them mostly for sabotaging and getting some points from that.

  • Just had a survivor kill herself on the first hook, because the killer found her while she was searching a chest. The killer didn't grab her, just ended up downing her and she just killed herself in a few seconds. This was at the start of the match. Why? Was she so mad she could not finish searching the chest? She could have waited for the save and get it after. The killer ended up killing the 3 of us, so that kind of idea of giving up ends up at least hurting the survivors.

  • No. It's like seeing survivors and killers with bloody clothes. Doesn't mean they are good, it means they have played a lot, but it's not the same thing.

  • I think automatic struggle should have been in the game a long time ago and it's still not in. It's not fun to just keep taping the button and sometimes because of lag or something else, you die because the game did not recognize that you pressed the button...

  • I think he is good as he is now. He can be annoying, but I think it was worse before they changed him.

  • Well, there are a lot of good ideas on this poll. The amount of exp for emblems should increase, for sure, it's almost nothing. Shard Mystery Boxes would be ok too and bonus exp offerings. And some Exp events would be nice, in between the BP events.

  • When I remember, I use them, but mostly it's something that I don't even remember. Charms are too small on survivors, but I like them on the hooks.

  • No, not bannable, because if it's allowed in the game, the devs know killers do it and it's still possible, no, it should not be bannable. Should something be done about it? I think so, but if the devs are fine with how things are, they won't change anything...

  • In theory, yes, if the killer is camping, survivors can just do gens and escape, leaving that poor survivor to die on the hook. I had a match just now that Leatherface face camped one survivor. We did 4 gens and the survivor died, so the killer found one of us, camped her too, I finished the last gen and me and the other survivor escaped. We knew there was no way to save any of those two.

Now, I was not one of the camped ones, I did gens, I got points, I survived. But there were two survivors, one that was found at the start, that was camped to death. Shouldn't he have the right to complain? Did he have any fun in the match? Was he allowed to get any points at all? So, sorry, but complaining about camping is valid in some instances.

One things is to keep close to the hook when you, the killer, see a survivor was nearby and you are trying to find them. Another is to have found a survivor, maybe hurt them, but still stay put at the hook. Of course the killer can play any way he or she wants, but that doesn't mean survivors won't complain as killers do, when survivors do things like being toxic.

  • Quentin and Freddy, of course, but also Michael and Laurie. I would like more girly cosmetics for Meg and something good for Adam, because he has few cosmetics.

  • That's understandable. I have done it a few times too or sometimes letting the last survivor get the hatch.

  • Just had a Wraith do the same thing to another survivor, cornering them and not moving, so there was nothing we could do. We finished the gens, left and the survivor died because of the endgame collapse. Not sure why any killer would find this fun and in the case I mentioned, the Wraith did not even hit or chase anyone, found the other survivor, cornered them and that was it. I reported them, but nothing is going to happen.

  • Playing solo is much harder. Me and my friends usually play together and one thing that is very different from playing as SWF or solo is trust. As solo, we don't know the other players or what they will do. Will they fix and help the team? Will they hide most of the time? Will they go for saves or wait near the hatch for everyone to die? My first match of the day, today, as solo, was me getting hooked in basement, killer left, everyone else went to the other side of the map, killer went there, everyone remained there, one was chased, two were hiding, no one came to help me and I died on the first hook.

I felt angry because they could have tried to help. It was against an Oni, that didn't even have his power activated, so one of the two that were not chased could have tried to save. But this happens sometimes as solo, but as SWF it doesn't. If I'm playing with friends, of course we do everything in our power to save each other. Also, a lot of SWF use voice communication (not me and my friends) so they can coordinate everything. I think the devs should make a way for the system to detect if someone is playing solo and give these survivors a buff, like built in kindred, for example.
