Gamemode Idea Murder Mystery
Murder Mystery:This game mode can only be played in Kill your friends.
Info:This is a 8 player game mode.There is 7 Survivors & The Traitor.There is one map called the Big Mansion for this game mode.Lockers can only be Used by killers.Cosmetics,Perks,& Offerings are Disabled will be disabled in in this Game-Mode.If the Gate gets open an endgame collapse will happen & survivors will have 60 seconds to escape.
Item List
Toolbox,Med-Kits,Flashlight,Baseball Bat,Hammer & Nails.
Baseball Bat)can interrupt a Mori.Use this to save your teammates or use this to stun the killer.
Hammer & Nails)Use to repair pallets
Survivor Objective:Search chest to find Keys to Open the main gate,Find 5 Keys to Escape.Or sacrifice The Traitor
The mansion isn't open at the beginning,Complete Gens to open more areas of the map.Survivors can call a ritual to sacrifice The Traitor.
Ritual Rules)
-3 Or More Survivors must agree to call a ritual.
-If The Traitor is not disguised a ritual can not be called.
-If the traitor get sacrificed the survivors win.
-3 Minute Cool-Down Between Rituals
Killer Objective:Kill the Survivors Or If time Runs Out
In this game mode you will play as The Traitor exclusive to this game mode.
The Traitor)It takes 3 hits to down a survivor.You can Mori downed survivors.
Disguise Boot:Entering a Locker toggles your disguise on & off.You can play as the Traitor for 30 seconds,if you enter a chase the timer will stop.While your disguise is off you can use lockers as a mode of transportation.While disguised you do everything that a survivor could do.
Teleporting & Toggling have a 10 Second Cool-down
Behind The Shadow:The survivors now gain the oblivious status effect & can only see up to 6 meters in front of them for 30 seconds.
Behind The Shadow Has a 60 Second Cool-down.

If a shapeshifting killer existed that game mode would be really fun
I like it, 5 keys seems like too few to me though, considering there are 7 survs.
Dev's are too scared to shake up the gameplay with different modes. If you want this, go play deceit. It's a free game that plays pretty much exactly like this.
Alternative: all survivors get killer versions and vise versa and you 'slip' into your killer's survivor version till revealed?

Been thinking about this.
How about this:
Instead of hooks, you can mori survivors if 1. you find your weapon and 2. there's no other survivors around.
Throughout the game the players search chests to find tools to find the keys, while the killer can also find their weapon in those chests (which will reveal them to the other players until hidden again)
It gives me some Deceit vibes 😋
A new player mode would be nice, but being on kill your friends, we wouldn't get any bloodpoints and that I don't like.
Then well reach problems of why the devs dont want murder mystery kind of killer.

I didn’t read all of this but I would love a DBD murder mystery mode. Or even a ‘who’s the killer’ mode between a group of survivors.
