I've yet to see a Xeno do that and what is the tail slowdown bug I've not heard of that?
Xeno doesn't get properly slowed down from a missed tail attack. That's all.

What is going on?
Could you explain?
There's a bug with flashlights and lockers that allows survivors to glitch so they're physically inside the locker where almost every killer in the game can't do anything to them or interact with the locker. People are exploiting it big time.

Xeno can hold the game hostage by blocking hooks yet no kill switch.
That isn't holding the game hostage. It's jerk thing to do, but not holding the game hostage. A killer holding the game hostage would be say blocking all the survivors in a corner or the basement where they can't leave and the game can't progress at all or a survivor and killer working together to body block the exit gate switches indefinitely so the other survivors can't leave. That's not what hook blocking does, since survivors can still finish generators and get out the exit gate.

Pretty sure all of them except demo out range the tail and demo could use a buff.
Demo outranges the tail too.

I'm going to use the bunny Feng cosmetic as an example; such a beautiful cosmetic, but ruined by the mud and blood. Could have been top tier! and you never see it used
You have to be kidding. I see bunny Feng more than every other Feng cosmetic put together.
-
The biggest problem with Dredge is the huge dead zones of lockers on a lot of maps. This should be fixed.
-
Why? Most of the killer's home maps are bad for them.
-
Personally, I just don't like the character and he doesn't shut up. He'd be much more tolerable if he never spoke.

...no, plague loses her corrupt if she eats a pallet.
Must have been a bug then. I've been palleted during corrupt before and didn't lose it.
-
Wait, there's no score event for it? Weird. They really should change that.
-
Offerings I wouldn't mind being pooled between all characters on a side, but items and addons shouldn't be.

@skylustv said:
Xenomorph should lose his power when he gets stunned by a pallet, if that happens to Plague it should happen with him too
Plague only loses the charge she's holding, not her power. Pallet a Plague while she has her damaging vomit and she still keeps the damaging vomit until the timer naturally runs out.
-
Wiretap and Blast Mine are both not working properly since the patch. Have to stop repairing the gen and then you get a prompt to install them.

If only they didn't nerf Windows Of Opportunity LMAO, then it'd be a great way to detect strong loops from afar, and know which ones not to go to.
Windows isn't nerfed. The description is a mistake that reverted it to pre-buff description. The actual perk is still the same.

It's listed in the patch notes, so it's either intended or a bug they weren't able to fix.

the footage doesnt matter, listen to the words not the background gameplay.
If the footage proves the words wrong, why would you listen to the words over the footage?

He's too good and easy to use, therefore must be nerfed?
Excuse me?
It's a strong killer with counterplay and a hitbox that can be kinda difficult to hit with sometimes if not understand correctly.
I can say the same about nurse: she's too good and easy, therefore should be nerfed.
Nurse is a bad example because everyone knows she's overpowered. Huntress is a better one. She's simple, straightforward, and good.

I dunno what game you playing killers 4k 95% of the games now.Not sure why BHVR holding the killer's hands now?I saw a dude who never played this game stream him killing 2 people when he didn't know how to pick people up.Im done dumping money into this rubble of trash and supporting this game
Of course a guy who's never played will manage to 2k. He's playing with survivors as clueless as he is. When the survivors barely understand what a generator is and have no clue how to loop or how pallets are useful and should actually be used, they're easy targets even for new killers.

He needs to have a hit cooldown back. Something more punishing than what he has now. Maybe revert to ptb or nerf it so the cooldown is 3-3.5 seconds long. What we have is a little ridiculous.
The cooldown is 3 seconds long. There seems to be a bug where she doesn't always lose movespeed during the cooldown like she is supposed to.

This has to be a joke right
Pretty sure it's a joke about xeno having actual tunnels and being the only killer with them.
-
@rosered said:
Fine, I'll admit I misread the tooltip and will adjust my expectations there regarding the stagger/stun, though that does still highlight how little use the turrets are.
To put another way, and I'll add this to my original post: What is the default mode for the Xenomorph?
Is it that the Xeno is default in walker mode, and crawler is a high powered state that the survivours need to effectively manage?
Or is it that the default mode is the crawler, and the weaker walker mode is something the killer is booted to when too careless
Because if it's the former then the survivours need an effect toolkit to manage the killer!
Crawler isn't a high powered state though. It just slightly reduces terror radius and allows the Xenomorph to use a mid-range attack. That's like saying survivors need a powerful tool to manage Nemesis tentacle or Deathslinger harpoon.
-
The turrets feel fine to me.
-
@rosered said:
Comparing to Singularity is just strawman tactics. The two killers work very differently and have very different counters.
And the flame turrets simply don't work as an effective counter. Twice we had a xenomoph walk into a turret flame to hook a player. The tooltip describes a stun if the the killer is exposed for too long but the duration to effectiveness is just not a threat.
The 'forced to use their tail attack' argument is not a strong one as the turret is a stationary target. If there was any real risk of failure then I would agree but it's comparatively easy to emerge from a tunnel, disable the turret, and pick up the chase from scratches/screams.
And since the killer's tail attack is semi-ranged, that short downtime is really not a great loss as survivors can't challenge at pallets without risking perforation.
The tooltip describes a stagger to the xenomorph, not a stun.
-
This is a case of your team not adapting to a new killer after a couple games and crying for nerfs instead. The tail attack is an attack in a straight line that can be moved slightly around before it retracts to injure, just like Nemesis. Instead of crouching, either keep running or move more left or right.

not really bc i use my power very often while in chase even as trapper and i break every pallet i can
Unless you're playing against people who don't even try to loop and only throw pallets and run to the next, you're bloodlusting.
-
Plague doesn't need gutting because you don't want to learn how to play against her. Killers are supposed to be strong, not survivor playthings.
-
Lightborn doesn't need a nerf.
-
As long as there's an option to mute it by specific character. I don't mind hearing Singularity or Nicolas Cage, but I would love to mute Wesker and would hate to have to listen to Clown.
-
Excited but not buying the dlc for a while. Don't have money.
-
No thanks. I want to see variety in survivors, not only the same one or two every single game.

Your version of Kinship would 100% affect non-camping survivors. Generators are going to get complete while someone is on a hook. It's inevitable as no killer is going to be able to keep the three others survivors off every generator until the one hooked is rescued if the survivors are any good.
That's not really the point. The killer will leave the hook which leaves the survivor open to rescue. Any quasi-decent team of players will do that. It changes nothing for killers who don't camp, that's just the flow of the game. The hook timer being slowed in such a situation does little to hurt the killer because what difference will it make?
Doubling the amount of time someone can sit on hook before needing to be rescued allows survivors to not have to be pressed to go for the save and can finish up generators they would have had to stopped working on to go unhook their teammate. It means generators can get done even faster and hurts the killer's pressure by quite a bit.

It's inevitable as no killer is going to be able to keep the three others survivors off every generator until the one hooked is rescued if the survivors are any good. If you want your version to be anti-camp, it needs to only work if the killer is within close range of the hooked survivor when the generator goes off and there's a grace period of a few seconds after the survivor is hooked that it won't go into effect if the killer walks away.

I just wish they wouldn't give us challenges for killers that aren't readily available to everyone. I don't have Singu because he's boring to face and looks equally boring to play, so I physically can't do the challenges.
Then skip the challenge. It's not like they're required.
-
He's honestly too much effort for too little reward and often ends up as a M1 killer with bad cameras since survivors get an item they can get an unlimited amount of to counter him.
-
I miss old coldwind. It was easier on my eyes.
-
Instead of using whatever bot they use for the censor, they really need to set up a manual one to catch slurs but not common phrases used in the game.

With that attitude, I guess the survivors should just line up in the beginning of the match and allow the killer to kill them all. I mean, their chase is only going to last 10 seconds.. No reason to play the game.
How bad are you that you lose normal chases during the match in ten seconds? That's very different from when the killer has nothing else to do other than to sit in front of the hook because everybody else is dead.
-
I'm sure getting chased for ten seconds before getting downed again and dragged back to hook may qualify as a game still to be played to you, but it's really not. The game's over. You lost. Let the killer move on to the next game instead of pointlessly wasting time.
-
There are a lot of survivors will disconnect at the slightest inconvenience in a match. This won't stop it. All this does it make queue times miserable for people who like certain killers. Bad idea.
-
That's a pretty bad idea. You're basically making her not have a power because if there's anywhere she could put a drone, it would be somewhere that didn't matter at all.
-
The argument "I have incredibly bad internet and think I should be able to ruin games for other" isn't a good one against the dc penalty.

If the main counterplay is to hold a tape and deny the surv use of an item, thats broken immediatly. Items help counter act the strength the the killers power.
Survivors can hold a normal item and a killer item at the same time. That was changed a bit ago. Survivors don't have to make strategic decisions about them anymore.
-
I'm not sure a perk that allows you to be slugged for even longer is remotely good anti-slug.
-
The engraved metals are just meant as filler. I don't think they expect anyone but new players to use them.

Larry's, idk what perks were used but nothing toxic since this all happened early on and I did nothing toxic to the killer
Did y'all happen to complete two gens in the center of Lerys? If so, it could be they felt like it was a loss for them if they didn't since y'all would be incredibly spread out to the point they wouldn't be able to use their power well.
-
What map was it, what perks where the survivors running, how was the facecamped player acting before being facecamped?

Immunity to lightburn?
Lightburn - a mechanic used on two killers - was removed. It allowed you to stun a nurse or wraith. It was useless against a half-decent nurse and cruel against wraith as you could lightburn him any time he stopped to try to uncloak since the burn time was shorter than his uncloak. They also removed using flashlights against hag traps and instead made it so any survivor can just crouch near a trap and hold the interact button to remove it.
-
I'd like that. After a certain amount of hours, tips get replaced with trivia and lore tidbits, with tips to play against killers still appearing until you face that killer enough times.
-
How does the killer have too many tools to get to a hook? The only thing they can do while carrying a survivor is walk and basic attack and have a couple perks that can help with it (the same way that survivor has several perks to help wiggle). Also, you shouldn't be able to wiggle out on your own without perks in effect unless the killer is going to a far away hook. That'd be bad and very unfair design.
