I never understood why they discontinued Space Cadet Pinball in the later releases of Windows, always had more fun with that game than i ever did with some of the other windows games such as minefield.

Definitely looking forward to this collab though.

You can definitely find a free version on Google haha, just a quick search and the nostalgia will hit.

God I miss pinball... the one machine at the arcade I never regreted putting money into.

It's really hard to get a score past 10 Million... Good times.

They reverted the vault fix. Male survivors also still vault further than female survivors...

Resilience be getting more customers lately LMAO

The flame turrets provide a 41m motion tracker with beeping rate indicating distance, that works while Xeno is in tunnels. When you hear beeping that is rapidly speeding up, you don't sit there staring at the turret for 10 seconds while fuming about how it won't instantly kill the Xenomorph and uninstall his game, you do things like RUN and HIDE. Xeno has ZERO counter to this playstyle.

No, I get that now, I already had an epiphany lol

First off it is not free to destroy a turret without leaving crawler mode you have 1.5 seconds to destroy the turret once it starts firing at you. So you basically have to destroy it on reaction. Due to this unless the killer has e-helmet and/or star chart it is highly likely for two turrets placed near each other will take the killer out of their power.

Now I only played against Xeno on PTB but I didn't have any trouble with them on here but they've been buffed a bit since then but I have played them nonstop since release so what I can do is list the things most annoying to me as a Xeno player that survivors can do.

    1. I'll repeat two turrets in close proximity usually means I have to drop chase entirely and deal with them and most likely retreat into my tunnels.
    2. Turrets hidden in tall grass can be annoying as they're harder to see/react to, this is most applicable on swamp but basically if a bear trap would be well hidden there a turret would also be good there as well.
    3. Changes in elevation are also annoying places for turrets so think the edge of hills, the top of stairways, balconies, etc are more likely to be high value turrets the are more likely to knock Xeno out of their power.
    4. If you think that will take too much time then use the turrets as an early warning system the literal moment you hear intense beeping start running, Xeno will have to deal with the turret first before they go after you and by then you should have enough time to make it to a strong loop.
    5. Speaking of loops stay near high wall or very tight loops as much as possible, it makes it very difficult to use the tail in these types of loops and they'll be forced to m1 (I use Coup De Grace on Xeno for this reason but most probably won't tbh).
    6. DO NOT TRY TO CROUCH THE TAIL. I see so many survivors try to do this not realizing it doesn't work, distance and tall obstacles are your friends trying tricks you'd try on huntress or nemmy doesn't work here as the projectile curves down naturally.
    7. Don't hide in lockers near tunnels caught a few people doing this. The killer instinct when coming out of a tunnel will give away your location even in a locker.
    8. Predrop pallets at low loops they're mostly useless against Xeno anyway so forcing a break while you W key away is decent value.

If only they didn't nerf Windows Of Opportunity LMAO, then it'd be a great way to detect strong loops from afar, and know which ones not to go to.

    use turrets.

tail isn't meant to be consistently countered by itself, it's a punishment for you for failing to apply any means of avoiding it - xeno's power grants killer the agency of getting a hit in close range.

Alright, so I learned a counter to his tail, which is to just hug a circular area, since the Alien's tail has a lot of collision, you can literally loop things without windows or pallets, and take it to the edges of the map.

At least with Oni, you can out-maneuver his dash with gusto, but with Alien, it's not like it's stuck in a motion. It has complete control, and with even a bit of good aim, it can get some really unfair hits. I get what you mean by holding W, but if that's literally the ONLY counter, where you can't even use a T and L wall efficiently against a basekit Alien, there's a problem.

And it doesn't help how if a Xeno has bad wifi, it can use that to it's advantage, and get unfair hits through walls.

  • @Xendritch said:

How is this different from Oni? Against a good Oni you're not allowed to get hit so you just hold W and predrop.

Also "super fast cool down" it has the longest cool down of any m2 killer in the game save Nurse. I swear people don't even know what they're complaining about.

The counter is to delay the killer. It has to hit you two times. This is time where your team can do gens. Every juke gives time. On top you have the turrets that slow it down. Not much, but they do. Apparently they are also bugged so.

There are killers that are stronger in chase like spirit, nurse or artist that you have to try to delay rather than outright run them for "insert x amount of gens" here.

The thing is, you can't even delay it for that long, since there are definitely perks that speed Xeno up, like Superior Anatomy. And the fact that Xeno can ALSO CRAWL ACROSS THE MAP LIKE IT'S NOTHING WITH IT'S STUPID UNDERGROUND SYSTEM, really helps out with the whole situation. It's also cool how 75% of the Xeno's I go against just tunnel...

When I see these type of message, I just wish that Pebble become the most popular perk from survivor

Just to see the biggest silence from these type of comment, or maybe, see people complaining that a pebble is way to strong for the current meta

    Reminds me of Noob3... Sigh...

  • I swear, it's either:

    Vault Pallet: Tail Attacked.

Juke Pallet: M1ed due to no slowdown after a missed tail, or just Xeno anticipating a juke.

    THERE IS NO COUNTERPLAY
