A lot of SWF groups are just bunch of people who are looking to have fun together. Most of them aren't even that good at the game.
Stop believing in this stupid myth that every SWF group is a 4-man SWAT team ready to bully killers.
If killers had this option, SWF wouldn't be playable. Maybe only God-tier Nurses would play against them.
-
Honestly I would do this with everything. But make a limited amount of refunds.
Bought a cosmetic that you thought would look really cool but it doesn't? Refund.
Bought a survivor / killer that you don't like? Refund.
It'd be nice.
(by refund i mean you would get your auric cells / shards back, not your money)

You people are actually craving attention or something.
a) It's not even out yet, no one has played against it in its full potential.
b) It's about damn time survivors get some normal perks. DLC teachables have been complete garbage for survivors, some even for killers, but there are some good ones for killers.
c) Just by looking at it I don't think it's going to be OP, insane crutch, cancerous as hell like you described,
Take a chill pill pls.

Again with the "only 2 killers exist" statement. It's not true.
There are many killers present in Rank 1, a lot of people make "weak" killers work. I rarely see a Nurse at Rank 1 nowadays. It's mostly Billy, Huntress, Spirit, Hag, Myers, Clown and sometimes Pig.
I myself play Huntress or Myers.
-
Definitely take Lithe, Sprint Burst is overrated imo. Dance with me is a nice perk, this build is made to lose the killer, which is pretty nice and can work if done properly.
I would personally recommend Bond, you'll have a much easier time finding someone to heal you. Or take Self-Care.
-
Deranking usually happens to get normal, non-tryhard killers. It's not to bully low ranks, although some people do that.
If you play mostly solo, like me, reaching red ranks as a survivor makes you want to wait for rank reset before you play again.
I'm really sorry, but I don't want to get 3 blinks Nurses, insta-saw Billies, Prayer beads Spirits and Frank's Mixtape Legions almost 90% of the time. It's not fun at all, solo survivors already have it hard enough.
Playing with 3 SWF or 4 SWF in red ranks is okay though, because you have some more power and a guarantee that there will be less bot survivors in your games.
-
Jane got her wig snatched. Spirit was too embarrassed because of her floating hair, so she wanted to cover it up.
For real tho, yeah, that sucks. I really like Jane and her design. Memes aside, I do like thicc-er characters.
-
I hate going 3v1, or less. Even if it doesn't happen to me as often, I get hella triggered by it, even when I'm playing killers.
When it's 3v1 and I'm playing a survivor, 60% of the time I just give up, get killed and move on. 2v1 or 1v1 is automatically a "just kill me" moment.
When I'm the killer and up against 3 survivors, I feel really bad for them because I know how it feels. I just let them do gens.
-
Playing solo can be a nightmare. It feels like I'm the only one actually doing something.
Yes, I know that i'm not the best player in the world, but for the love of god, can you stop crouching everywhere, ignoring gens or other objectives? Can you please keep a simple chase up for atleast 40 seconds? It's not THAT hard. Can you stop dropping pallets when the killer is 10 meters away from you?
Everytime I go solo, I feel like I am a magnet for immersed Claudettes.
-
I wouldn't really say Legion is OP, more like toxic and super unfun. Tier-list wise he would be somewhere in C tier imo.
The thing that makes him really annoying and unfun is the fact that there's no counter for his frenzy. Pallets? Nah, vault. Windows? Nah, vault. Stealth? Nope, a big red marker is put on you.
Another thing people hate about him is the Frank's mixtape combo.
And now his gameplay. Find a survivor, hit them, mend, repeat.
-
Tbh, devs love to do "uncalled for" changes.
Survivor example: the vaulting change, honestly, it's not such a bad change, but no one complained about vaulting. People have complained about infinites, but this wasn't the right answer to nerf them, and as a matter of fact, it didnt actually nerf them whatsoever.
Killer example: I think we can count the thanatophobia one.
-
Dead Hard
Pros:
- works on all maps
- 50% chance the killer will not expect it
- can save you from bad situations if used well
- can help you reach a window / pallet faster
- BIG PRO - when you get a nurse, DH is her nightmare.
Cons:
- you have to be injured
- 50% chance the killer will expect it, so he won't lunge
- can be pretty laggy, you might press it but it wont trigger
Balanced Landing
Pros:
- can be extremely useful on some maps
- with the recent exhaustion change, its overall good to not stagger when you fall from heights
Cons:
- only works on some maps
Conclusion: Be like me and use both, I know it might seem like an overkill, but if you go one, you'll regret it once you get a good map.
-
I stopped using it recently and I see no change honestly. Run Bond and your issue is solved. Much better this way.
Yeah, it's pretty good, but I have seen that a lot of people stopped using it. It's not such a big deal as every killer will tell you that it is.
-
Or simple limitations would be enough. Especially in SWF groups. Same could be done with other items/addons.
4 SWF: 1 instaheal (ultra rare)
3 SWF: 1 instaheal (ultra rare) + 1 instaheal (very rare)
2 SWF: no limitations
Solo Queue: no limitations

Killer: Noed, Ruin, Nurse's, Sloppy, Franklin's, Enduring, Unrelenting
Survivor: Self Care, Adrenaline, Dead Hard, Decisive, Balanced Landing, Borrowed Time.
Survivor has more, they also have more perks in general so I'm not sure if the ratio evens it out
You couldn't be more wrong. The only crutches on the killer side are probably NOED and (maybe, not really) Ruin.
Crutches on the survivor side are DS and BT. That's it. If you want me to list reasons why most of the perks you listed aren't crutch, let me know.

It's only mildly annoying. I just want a quarter second chance to look away when i pick someone up. I can jerk my mouse all over the place and still get blinded and drop the survivor. It's stupid. I just don't understand the mechanics behind it. Why it's the way it is. It's not that big a problem, as if someone brings in a flashlight i usually look at walls to pick people up. But that's hard to do on some maps.
You have enough ways to counter it. What do you not understand?
I just explained it: Picking up animation and pallet breaking animation is the only time flashlights can fully blind a killer.
-
Because if survivors couldn't do that, flashlights would be the most useless item in the entire game. You can flashlight a killer only when they are locked in an animation, otherwise, good killers will just look away. If you're having trouble, equip Lightborn / Franklin's.
If that still doesn't help somehow, look around first before you pick the survivor up.
-
I kinda agree with your points.
Infinite loading screen is awful, I didn't get it in a long time, but when you do it's annoying as hell.
A lot of people say Legion is terribly designed and needs a rework, and I completely agree. It's a fairly weak killer, but probably the most toxic and annoying one, it's just unfun to play against him. Get hit, mend, repeat. Not to mention that vaults and pallets are kind of useless against him and that's the only thing survivors have, not even stealth helps them because of Frenzy.
Tunneling will always exist, and there's nothing you can do about it. It's a strategy, yeah, but it makes it super unfun. The only time I will ever tunnel someone, is if they are toxic, or if there's 1/2 gen(s) or when exit gates are opened.
Vault hitboxes are a sensitive topic in here. People say that it's normal, because Killers can hit through windows. I agree with that, but I'm pretty sure it's not okay, when someone has 70 ping, vaults a window, runs forward and the killer still gets the hit on the survivor, when his weapon actually hit the window.

They've said it's fine as it is already.
Didn't know about this, thanks for letting me know.

Nah... cause that just makes it easier for survivors to rush the hook and get everyone out.
They need to get that totem... then go for saves. NOED doesn't need to be touched. It is perfect the way it is.
Thank you for an honest comment and opinion. To everyone who wants to comment on this, take this person as an example. A normal comment.
-
They aren't. People like to exaggerate, but I guess that's because they have been in the past and people are probably still in that mindset.
-
I don't play Nurse, I already did get destroyed countless of times, but countless of times I destroyed Survivors.
If you can't kill atleast 1 then i'm sorry, it just probably means you're really bad. In my honest opinion, survivors are OP only when they want to. Most people play this game casually, not everyone is a big tryhard who brings insta-heals and other stuff like that. They are strong, but people really exaggerate and make it seem like it's impossible to play killer.

there has been a ton of noobs at rank 1 because its really easy to pip as survivor now. thats why rank 1 is easy and people are getting rekt.
play killer at rank 1(or any rank) and get really smart survivors when all of them know how to loop then you will understand.
Pipping as a survivor was easier back then. I play killer and currently I'm at rank 3. It's kinda challenging but most of the time the survivors I get are immersed P3 Claudettes.
But my main question is: Why were survivors considered to be fine and not OP according to Marth88 and his experiment? Why are survivors so OP now ? I mean, they got nerfed a lot. Pallets removed, pallet vacuum removed among other stuff that really helped killers.
The list of nerfs In game has killers nerfed way more than survivors that is an undeniable fact. Survivors have been nerfed in what ways? Pallet vacuum gone? Well they made the pallets drop quicker. Exhaustion doesn't recover while sprinting? Well now you lose it all when you are hooked and made some maps loop harder to loop/took them out... any more direct survivor nerfs? Buffing garbage killer perks doesn't count as a nerf to survivors btw.
they still can loop a pallet 2 times completely safe from a 115%movement speed killer. They can still loop windows with ease.
You never understand game balance until you try your very best and get completely destroyed by survivors that know how to run in circles and when they aren't running in circles they do generators.
Yeah, but, pallets dropping quicker doesn't matter, you can still get hit through them. Exhaustion gone on hook is normal, even before this was implemented my exhaustion perk was almost always ready by the time I got unhooked.
Survivors loop, it makes sense, I see literally no other gameplay option for them, stealth is very weak because it gets pretty much deleted in most cases. When I'm chasing a survivor and he's looping me, I force him to drop the pallet so he doesn't loop me for another 2 / 3 circles. I don't respect pallets. Windows are extremely unsafe, especially with the game's hitboxes, most of the time I hit a survivor when he's already 10 meters behind the window, that is bullcrap. Not to mention, there are so many unsafe pallets and windows.

Because none of those nerfs address one very OP thing about Survivors.
If they coordinate well enough (and you don't have to be SWF for that, though it does help), they can easily fix all Gens very quickly as long as they have someone else let the Killer chase them.
Of course some Killers suffer more from this than others, because devs absolutely WANT some Killers to suck hard.Well I do agree with that. The gens get done quickly and they should have another objective to give killers time but, from my perspective, idk if it's a good idea. You see, i'm in high ranks and when I play survivor I usually get people who don't even touch generators, making me the one doing like 3 of them by myself. And this is very common, I see this even when I play killer.

Camping = standing near a hooked survivor
5/4/3 gens left + Camping = Why do you make this community more toxic than it already is?
2/1 gen left / gates opened + Camping = I can understand it, the game's very close to an end and you wanna secure them kills. I do this too.
-
Sometimes, though good survivors can still work through it. When I have more perks that help me in a chase it's better for me.
