The amount of threads and comments I've seen bashing killers like Trickster and Legion because they're not "scary" or "they're just ordinary humans" is astonishing. Just because they're not "big guy in mask" or "ugly deformed monster" doesn't mean they're not horror characters and that they shouldn't be in DbD.
And now, I've seen this same argument of "they're not scary" applied to other characters like Springtrap.
Horror can take all sorts of different shapes and forms. Just because you don’t find it scary doesn’t mean others won’t and that the character is any less of a horror icon.

I'm pretty sure the Cennobites come out of the Tv or something. I'm not that sure, as I've never seen Hellraiser myself.
Glad I am not the only one feeling this way ;_; I try to avoid drama but I had to get this off my chest. At the end of the day we are all horror fans and some people need to be reminded that horror is for all and comes in many flavors. That is what makes the genre so beautiful ^^
I never understood the Trickster hate. He is a really cool character with a good story... but a lot of people says k-pop and horror can't co-exist, which is ridiculous! You don't have to love k-pop to appreciate Trickster. My only gripe with that chapter was no map lol.

I just watched it yesterday so I could be in the loop... tho it is not a good movie. 4/10 and you see the cenobytes for maybe 2 min max.
Anyways the TV looks the same as in the movie. Also in the movie the TV shows a red flower on it and the teaser TV seems to have a red flower showing too ^^

For example, the Shape and the Ghostface both stalk to expose survivors. Leatherface is a different breed of Hillbilly, because Billy was based on Leatherface to begin with. Nemesis has a loop-ignoring beam attack just like Executioner.
If it really is Hellraiser, lets hope they come up with something original for their powers.
Oh I agree with you on original chapters! They will always be my preference ^^ I love all the characters bhvr has come up with!

Most likes a standard attack with a blade, and then a special power with chains/hooks.
Their could be a way to disable his power or stun him by looking for his puzzle box!
As for perks def something to do with suffering and injured survivors. Maybe he has a perk that prolongs being hooked in exchange for something else?

Fnaf is an icon of horror. Not all horror icons are stuck in the 80's lol.
I'm happy it is looking Pinhead and hopefully another cenobyte as a skin, but fnaf will have its time just like many other horror icons to come.

It is looking like hellraiser (yay), but that doesn't mean FNAF will never be in DBD.
Turning it into a 'my fandom won over yours' is silly. There are so many iconic horror licenses yet to arrive. Fnaf will come, but right now it is very much looking like Pinhead.
As for my die hard fnaf guys: we want fnaf as a full chapter, not a paragraph. Be happy it is not Fnaf!

Just because we get Hellraiser this time doesn't mean The Ring is off the table ^^
That goes for Candyman and Fnaf. People get so hyped they forget that if their fav isn't this chapter it could be the next! ^^

It is a very popular franchise and I think a lot of people's gateway into the horror genre. The kids that grew up with fnaf are now young adults and of course they want to see two games they love merged. I mean, don't we all? I have seen equally as many threads for Candyman, Hellraiser, Chucky, Alien, The Thing, 13 Ghosts, Penny, etc. The fnaf threads are just condensed so it seems like there are more of them.
I feel like there is a huge spread of ages in this community and that is where a lot of the divide on fnaf comes from. The older gen who grew up on classic horror see fnaf as childish and not worthy of DBD, while the younger half see it as a horror staple and very much should be in DBD.
At the end of the day we are all horror fans and everyone wants their fav horror icons in this game. I just wish people would see it that way and stop demonizing the fnaf fans. We all want to see our favs and IF fnaf comes to the game it doesn't destroy what is already here, it enhances it for people who do like Fnaf, thats it!
This community is very dramatic tho so asking people to respect one anothers likes may be too much ^^"

My personal top killers are:
Trapper
Hag
Pig
And Twins
I have always enjoy set up playstyles so naturally I am drawn to trap Killers. The Twins kind of stand out but I also see them as set up playstyle. I plant Victor in good spots and heard survivors to him. Then bam, Victor gets a piggy back ride and I get Charlotte to go patrol. I love the two places at once feel of them ^^
As for finding a killer that suits you try playing 3 matches with any killers you have available and see which you have most fun with! If you haven't got a certain killer go watch twitch streamers who main them to see how they play ^^
Trap killers are not always successful, and they are all mid tier killers, but I do have a lot of fun with them personally. When your set up does work and you snowball it feels really good! Especially those head pops with pig ^^

First movie is slow because they are trying to start lore. But 2 and 3 are really good movies, 3 are my fav because so much kills on this movie and we are seeing Pinhead's real powers. He is really so strong evil.
I will watch 3 as well then ^^ I dont mind gruesome horror as long as there is good characters and a decent story/lore.

Okay just finished the first movie... gotta say it was a flop for me. Slow, bad story, and not even campy... just bad.
That being said the Cenobites are a cool design and freaky so they would fit well in DBD ^^

I am half way through the movie now... not sure if its just not my cup of tea but this movie is very slow, dull, and not scary. I have seen pin head for 30 sec lol.
So far its about a creepy perverted half dead uncle in the attic. I think the niece just summoned the cynobites tho so we shall see if it picks up now.

Im solo and have had survivors and killers team up on me. It sucks but it is whatever. It rarely happens and I rather just move on to next match.
If it makes you feel better then report.

The number of perks you have to pair just to get the value of one perk is insane.
Hopefully one day bhvr will look over all the perks and clean them up a bit.

I really wish survivors could see other's builds in lobby. This would save a lot of headaches.
As foe your suggestion though- power struggle could be buffed to highlight pallets yellow in a 10m radius where you go down. Hell I would run it just for that!

i'm the 'once bitten twice shy' type of person, and with few, very few exceptions I have only bad experience with the fnaf fans. I like dbd, but I genuinely fear what a fnaf chapter will bring
Honestly I think fnaf fans will play for a month tops and drop the game ^^" I love this community, it is passionate, creative, and skilled... but this game isn't for everyone. Its takes a tough cookie to play DBD... and an extra tough stubborn cookie to play killer ^^
Between the salty players, the troll players, and the bugs in this game I doubt any fnaf players would be able to handle it and they will bail before you know it.
I am not saying I don't want new blood in this game!!!! I do! But I doubt every fnaf fan will flood here, and then the ones that do because 'omg Springtrap' are in for a very rude awakening... I love playing killer but damn it is not easy ^^"
They will figure that out soon enough and then move on like a bunch of people tend to do.

I get fnaf is not everyone's cup of tea, but if you love dbd it would be a shame to give it up just for a dumb chapter. I'm not a Candyman fan but if he came to DBD I would just not buy the chapter and play the characters that I love ^^

People arguing that fnaf will bring kids to the game... y'all know kids are playing this game already right? Same with CoD, Overwatch, Splitgate, you name it. Kids play games that are not age appropriate. Fnaf will not change that, the little edge lords are already here.
I personally think Fnaf would be amazing, however I am more after the map. A dark spooky pizzaria would be a really fun map!!!!

Seriously people, refrain from replying if you don't bring something constructive to the thread. As it seems, a lot of people agree that DBD particularly takes much longer to update than other games, so flexing your impressive specs won't help anyone. As I saw from other threads that I've read, people with amazing specs also have this issue (and I personaly don't consider my pc and internet bad. Outside of the disgusting 8 GB RAM, everything is just super good. And those 8 GB come from the fact that laptops with more than that also come with more expensive and, from my point of view not necessary considering my current setup will pull at least 120 fps out of multiplayer games with insane graphics)

First, this is an open discussion forum so people can pop in and say what they want. I could come in and say 'ooga booga boo' and that would be that. Whether you want to engage with me is your choice.
I use to have those long dl times when I was on my ps4 so I understand your pain. It took at least an hour if not more for the dl to finish. This was true for both overwatch and DBD (the main online games I play). I then got a ps5 and problem gone. Everything dl super fast, even if I missed a couple updates and my system is catching up. Its great and it makes me happy ^^
So maybe my point is you need an upgrade or some part does? I am not computer person but I would think a good pc can outperform a ps easily.

I guess the new killer is the trapper, it is obvious, it is the only killer with more sense than ever to be the next chapter, its power could be to set traps for bears, but the problem is that the devs did not want to add it before because it would be too OP, Tier S I estimate that it would be if he became the next killer of chapter 21.

They are! At least when you read both their character bios they could even be one in the same lol.
That being said who says that the Entity is not older and more powerful than Penny? Its fantasy and up for debate so if King let bhvr use Penny there could be some creative freedom and Bhvr could say something like Penny wanted to come to the Entity's realms so he could consume endless fear and torment.
They could even spin it so at the end of IT part 2 the entity saves Pennywise, but in his weakened state he has lost a lot of his powers being brought to the realm ^^ so we get a watered down version of Penny.

Totally! This community is a smart and passionate one. People kind of forget themselves tho and will fight that it is their dream chapter when people put forward equally compelling arguments for a different license.

I want it for killers tbh. I get to rank 5 with my best killers but I also don't want to be playing them every time. At those levels tho I am against good survivors and I feel if I jump on a killer I am not as good with (huntress, trickster, myers, ph) then I am woefully outmatched :<
It will be nice to jump on my weaker killers and go against lower skilled survivors so I can actually practice instead of being bullied.

What I do find interesting is with the ciircus photo it has the two i's and Visconti has two i's. Then we have Ace in the Ticket booth. Could be hinting towards something to do with Ace's past. Maybe someone connected to him?

I find 4 focused solos is a pretty dangerous thing. Swf play sloppy. My worst games are when I have 3 swf with me... I do all the gens and totems while they mess with the killer. Then if I get caught they leave me for dead ;_;

All-Kill but only because there was no map and the Trickster didn't feel good to play at the start.
Other then that I really do love that DBD did a celeb psycho killer. Why everyone hates it because its k-pop theme is beyond me. I don't listen to K-Pop myself but still a cool concept.
Makes me wonder if it was not k-pop if the chapter would have been more popular.

Sure, a dc 1-2 a month because of poor connection or real life issue happens and that is understandable. DC multiple times a day? Yah those people are the worst, killer or survivor.
