I got Lery's as my first map today and I was blown away with how good it looked. I didn't know if their was a change or if I had just not been on the map for awhile lol.
Good to know it was tweaked. It looks AMAZING.
-
More lore is always better ^^
-
I still have been playing (along side Pokemon Snap). I hope it is fixed tmrw ^^
-
Here is a weird one, but Trapper for me!
Placing traps along the fence line is awesome!
-
I got DBD when it was free on PSN.
Since then I want to say I have thrown $200 on Chapters, Cosmetics, and Rifts ^^
Currently eyeing the new spirit skin... I think I need it owo
-
For the next killer I would like to see another original design. Something sci-fi themed or something extra creepy.
As for next licensed killer I would love Alien. Xenomorphs would be so much fun to play! Supernatural is another license I would like to see in DBD.
-
If survivors want to stay and wait out the clock then they can fill their boots and waste their own time.
Sometimes I think they think they are wasting my time but I am usually in the kitchen getting a drink or snack ^^ Gates are open and all survivors are alive, what else am I going to do?
-
That ship!
Its adorable and oddly makes sense.
-
Im here for it!
-
Dropping an tem or doing a single crouch like you did shows respect and tells me the survivor is throwing in the towel. Always gotta respect that ^^
Also booping the snoot!

Questions:
Why Audodidact in D?
Why Fixated in C?
Those perks are are very strong. I slept on Fixated forever but paired with Iron Will you can lose the killer very easy if you break los for a few seconds. It is def better then C.
-
Well out of the 3 Wraith is the one I see the most, then Trapper, then Billy. I haven't seen a Billy all of July :< i can see why everyone says Wraith but I never have an issue with him. Spine Chill and an exhaustion perk are enough to keep ahead of him and still get the gens done.
I think Trapper shouldn't be overlooked here. Yah he doesn't have zoomie potential but he can shut down half the map. Well placed traps can end a match very fast. I also think Trapper has the advantage of no one taking him seriously so they let their guard down.
-
I think the lobby needs some improvements but item swapping isn't a big deal (or much of a mind game). After all, the survivors can still pick up items in the trial.

Hatch should take 60 seconds to open if second to last survivor DC's.
This is a great idea!

Swf is here to stay (and a lot of fun for the community).
Buff killers, buff solo, and reward killers for facing swf ^^
-
I don't think its a problem. Survivors need to realize its michael and figure out what he is running. If he gets to tier 2 I always assume he has the infinite add on with tombstone. Sadly lots of people have bad game sense and don't care what he is running and just run around like crazy.
If you play more stealthy and don't feed the beast he is very very easy to shut down.
That is just my thoughts tho. I love playing against Michael since you need to figure out what you are facing.

Devour Hope
It is the perfect perk. Encourages the killer to move away from hooked survivors and rewards them for playing well.

- Able to save and pick Perks loadout, a single click can change your Perks.
- Show other's perks to see their play style and optimize team perks build (such as no Small game bad, but 2 Small game isnt good either)
Perk loadouts would be amazing!!!!
I have a healing build, totem build, and sneaky build. It would be such a time saver to just click the loadout I want!
Genius! Thank you for your input ^^

The reason we can't swap killer in the lobby, is due to Matchmaking. It is planned that we are being matched up with Survivors who are appropriate for our skill level with the character we are queuing with.
Ah that makes sense! Thank you :)

If the last survivor is body blocked by the killer before the hatch is closed (and gates aren't opened), the game will not end.
That is a good point! I have never seen that situation before but I am sure it has happened. That is a reportable offense.
As for Corn's situation the killer is not holding the game hostage. They made a choice to stay in locker and keep item instead of playing the match.

dumb little thing but I'd like to see when survivors turn their character and have the ordering of survivors consistent across all screens. I love the idea of a 3 man swf turning to look at the rando 4th at the same time
Why not! This would make the lobby more interactive and goofy. Maybe the devs could make it so survivors could do their gestures as well ^^

Show the map. There's zero reason to ever play Nurse/Blight/Billy/Oni etc on a map like Hawkins or Lerys. There's zero reason to ever take Balanced Landing on Shelter Woods, or Bamboozle on The Game. Survivors on Dead Dawg should take Prove Thyself and a toolbox to break up the multiple 3 gens. Stuff like that. The game is so unbalanced in large part because players can never truly optimize their gameplay in a public match setting. Every stat the devs see is noise because of that.
I wouldn't mind this tbh. I believe everyone has a more fun match when they know what they are going into/ can prepare for it! Both killers and survivors would benefit from it (as long as Killers could switch character in lobby again).
Knowing the map and the killer would be ideal. I understand why that isn't a thing tho- too many lobby dodges which make queue times ridiculous ;_;
I know a lot of people are against survivors knowing the killer but if survivors could slap on perks to better play against their foe I think more people would stick around and not dc as much. Just my unpopular hot take ^^"

Yes please!!!! Great addition ^^

Killer can never hold the game hostage.
Patently false. Killers can bodyblock survivors in corners, for instance.
That is against rules (and a horrible thing to do) but the game isn't held hostage.
The game being held hostage = no way to end. In no situation can the killer hold game hostage. Survivors however, can.
-
Killer can never hold the game hostage.
You can bring items (and try to keep them) and the killer can bring Franklin's and try and destroy your item. You sre both in your rights to do whatever you want. If it prolongs the game because you both being petty thats your issue.

The Team Fortress 2 Mann VS Machine thing where the timer gets shortened every time a player presses ready.
At 60 seconds, 1 player pressing ready would remove 11 seconds, allowing for a maximum of 44 seconds to be cut. (Not 55, because 5 players ready is still instant start. (Although 55 brings us down to 5 seconds anyway, but you get the point.))
From 55 to 59 seconds left, it would be 10 seconds removed per player.
From 50 to 54, it's 9.
- 45-49, 8
- 40-44, 7
- 35-39, 6
- 30-34, 5
- 25-29, 4
- 20-24, 3
- 15-19, 2
You can un-ready and it would re-add the seconds, but the timer is always going.
So if you ready up and un-ready 3 seconds later, the timer will still have advanced by 3 seconds from the time before you readied up.
Basically what i want: If everyone is ready, then LET'S GO! 😎
That is a really good idea!!! I didn't realize until now but I really would like a faster timer ^^

Who is your fav survivor to camp?
-
Did you main 1 killer to do it or did you use many killers?
-
The longest stand off I had was about an hour. It was fun at the time but I could never go back. Being able close hatch still gives me goosebumps of pleasure ^^
-
Slinger and Twins :D
-
I think with DBD you need to stretch your imagination a bit. Licensed characters will never be their true selves, because if they were they would wipe the floor with other characters.
Michael and Freddy are a good example. Their true characters would have zero issue disposing of 4 survivors. They are watered down in this game.
On the survivor side there is Ash and Bill. Ash, with his proper chainsaw, could go toe to toe with a bunch of the killers and win. He has faced far worse then Trapper or Pig ^^" Bill has been through hell and back. I am sure he too would be able to take out a few killers as well.
-
I like that idea but it would make basement saves impossible.
Here is my tweak:
Activates whenever a survivor enters the basement (no proximity requirement). As soon as the perk activates windows and vaults of the shack are blocked by the entity for 40 seconds. Territorial Imparitive can only be activated every 80 seconds.
When basement isn't in shack then the perk is half useless but that would be the gamble.

Yep, in green ranks you don't get thrown in with reds very often, and reds are the worst.
Agreed. I here to have fun and most of red ranks act they in some e-sports torny... I see it more like dark mario party ^^ Fun and wacky.

As Pig, getting my snoot booped.
Against Pig, being allowed to boop the snoot.
Playing against goofy ghostfaces. When they realize I am playing peak a boo and play along as well ♡ so much joy.
When there is 1 survivor left and its a race for hatch... but they step in bear trap. Good feels.
My teammates coming back for me on hook while noed or devour is up... those are the real mvp. Makes me wanna cry every time (im solo).
There is too much attention on the bad instead of the joys this game provides ♡ Thanks for creating this topic!!!
-
100%
I like to think I am as fair as killers get. I try so hard to go after the unhooker but if the survivor gets in my way just to activate bt then sorry mate, you are the next to be downed.
Its not out of malice it is just the only logical choice. The unhooker is long gone (and healthy) so the one unhooked is the best target :<
-
Depending on how the match is going tunneling can be a smart move. If they are 3 gens done and you know that person is now on death hook get them out of there ya?
Tunneling at start of match doesn't make much sense. Killer's time can be better spent pressuring other survivors instead of camping hook and chasing down that 1st guy (also scummy since you didn't give that person a chance to play the match).
-
If I could stay in my home province, absolutely!
I would love to be an concept artist and dream up new characters and cosmetics all day. Dream job ^^

Don’t tunnel or camp and you’ll see little DCs
Here the thing... everything is camping and tunneling to people who blame everything and everyone for their own poor plays. Unfortunately that is a huge chunk of the player base.
Also saying 'I won't DC as long as you play how I want' is childish.
Can't wait for the penalty and ban system to stop entitled little brats ruining the match for everyone ^^

For me it's exhaustion perks, I was so dependent on them but now I can have more diverse builds and use random stuff.
And as a killer I still have and will always have my addiction to BBQ :p
All us killers are just hungry for bbq and chili 😍
-
I personally don't see the appeal. I hope we get more original killers and survivors.

Plunderer's...
I like treasure hunting for keys but decided I should probably stop slowing the game down for my team just for memes every game.
I slap Plunderer's on from time to time ^^ its a fun perk!
-
i think they should buff it again too. Fix problematic loops and let people fall without stager regardless of exhaustion.

This might be embarrassing to say, but it was Technician that I was way too stubborn to remove.
I thought I needed the perk to work on generators peacefully and the stats themselves convince me that it was actually a meta perk. I mean the killer cannot hear the gen your working on within a certain range or the skill check miss penalty minimized? A good fine addition to my perks, since I preferred playing stealthy at those times and I was quite frankly new.
My friend really did not seem to mind up until a certain point, in their point of view at least, I was experienced enough that I would not need the perk anymore. Still I refused to let it go, but they kept pushing me to try other perks as I might get stuck and not adapt.
Luckily they convinced me alot and I eventually gave in.
Technician is the perfect beginner perk. It is really is handy!
When I first started killer I couldn't let go of Unrelenting. Even when I started to get the hang of Killer I saw unrelenting as pretty valuable ^^"
One time while playing kyf one friend was like '######### you doing running Untrlenting?' and I said I like the cool down in case I miss... and they were like 'dude you haven't missed in 2 matches'... and then I was like oh damn lol.
Im of the mindset 'prepare for the worst' so I enjoy perks that help me bounce back from bad plays. Right now Resurgence is my fav perk ^^
-
I always enjoy going up against a skilled killer ^^ I enjoy a challenge and the game gets so much spookier when you go up against a good opponent.
I guess my all time favs are:
Nurse
Hilbilly
Michael
Spirit
Oni
Pig (especially when I get to boop snoot)
Hag

Killers that pretend to be friendly for downs/hooks and then betray the survivors are the absolute worst. As much as they aggravate me, I respect facecampers and hard tunnelers miles more than I do fake farmers, because they're at least up front about their intentions.
Bloodpoints are bloodpoints, but if you want kills, play the damn game.
(Though survivors that want to farm and then scuttle off without giving the killer any hooks are also pretty bad. Farming's an agreement and I expect all parties to hold up to their side of the bargain.)
Came here to say the same thing ^^
I am always down to farm if that is what people want. If I'm the killer I will never ever betray the farming trust. Its the lowest of the low :<

Maybe 5-10 hours a week ^^

Victor does steal Char's thunder because he is a super fast slugging god ^^
I think it would be neat if Victor latched on longer and Charlotte got a massive speed boost when Victor is outside her and riding a survivor. That way when players are Charlotte it gives them the ability to go pressure other survivors while Victor is essentially incapacitating 1.
Another thing that could make Charlotte more interesting is that when she is asleep she also notifies Victor if a survivor is near her which encourages more switching.
I love the Twins but I would like to see a re-imagined version of them where they are more equal and maybe each have their own thing. Might get hate for saying this but getting rid of victor downing survivors might be a good idea.
Instead of downing maybe as Victor you can run, find survivors, hit the power button, and Victor lets out a giant screech. The screech could trigger killer instinct on survivors and give them deafened status effect for 10 seconds. Victor can still latch onto one survivor but he can't down anyone.
Just some ideas! I know victor is 'the power' but he really does just make Charlotte obsolete.
-
Its... its the strongest loop for survivors. So no, it doesn't need a second window.
If you are playing around shack and the basement is there then that is a risk you are taking.

I think the most wanted chapters are:
Friday the 13th (yasss)
Chucky (meh)
Candyman (meh)
Alien or The Thing (hell yas)
IT (yas)
I would personally enjoy a Fnaf chapter but I would much prefer Jason or a Xenomorph before Springtrap ♡
