I consider it trash.
Yes, I said what I said.
Take away the blood point gain for a second and look at the aura reading.
Too many counters. I cannot tell you how often I get a hook and I see NO ONE. Because:
• It is blocked by generators
• It is blocked by lockers
• It doesn't work on Survivors near you
• It's worthless against Survivors so far away on the map that trying to chase them down means they will be long gone by the time you get over there
Not to mention I am probably losing a full second off this perk just turning my camera to look around.
-
This is why the game needs a hard 30 minute time limit.
After 30 minutes the endgame collapse should start.
-
I get the feeling all these people saying "I don't need blood points" have already farmed all the perks they want.

It's not a purely disruptive effect. There are effects where you use it to protect a survivor, like Borrowed Time.
And to answer OP's question yes it achieves its desired effect in high level play.
It's still a disruptive effect. It's just self-inflicted in the case of Borrowed Time. The mechanical function is the same - it stalls Survivors by making them tend to a micro-errand to continue playing. Whereas in the case of Legion it is inflicted as a reward for using his power and hitting a Basic, Borrowed Time uses it as an opportunity cost.
-
The point of Deep Wounds is to kill someone if they don't heal themselves.
It's a purely disruptive effect.
Instead of taking the hit, and getting right on a generator, you need to stop and Mend because of you don't you die. It's a mandatory time sink to delay Survivors.

AFK farming just screws the survivors that run wglf and honestly wastes their time even joining a match with an afk killer. I’d rather you dc and end the match faster than screwing me out of bp. If you want to cry cause you want points for not even playing a game and wasting people’s time and addons then remember people play the game to actually play it not have a crap killer afk the entire game cause they can’t be bothered to play the game they joined.
WGLF Player here. Got four stacks out of my last AFK killer match. ;)

I have yet to get Devour to let me Mori someone. I literally cannot keep the #$%$ing thing in the game. It gets cleansed EVERY SINGLE GAME.

Haha sorry I was one of them. We thought you'd dc. I got pallet stun save and then you couldn't come in.
DC? DC?!?!?
WEAKNESS!
In all seriousness, I don't blame the Survivors. Unless you are in a 4 man SWF and can tell everyone not to do this then all it takes is ONE Survivor to hold the game hostage even if the other 3 are being good sports. This is totally on Behavior for somehow allowing this bug to Survivor the PTB and make it to live.
Besides, I had to get that "hit 4 intoxicated Survivors" outta my log somehow!

Yup. Hey, wait!

Yeah... I'm done with survivor until hitboxes get fixed and and 360s are back. These maps have too many dead zones and the removal of 360s just makes me stand still and wait for death because I know there's nothing I can even try to do about it anymore. I know 360ing didn't always help. But it was better than just having literally nothing.
Already back at rank 1 with killer and loving how easy it is to gimp people with the broken hitboxes. Maybe all I have to do is be a toxic killer and the playerbase will start to die off and the devs might notice that.
360s never should have been in the game to begin with. Good riddance.

I had all four Survivors hiding in that spot earlier. When one got close enough and I was able to cut him they all heal bombed him. It turned into an unintentional farm match. But what choice did I really have? I literally could not kill them.
-
I have no problem juking. What was hurt was the 360 and spinning and all that weird stuff. But I was able to out-fake a Nurse with zero issues tonight.
-
My Clown had to deal with that at the car yard earlier.
-
It amazes me all the ideas Survivors come up with that would just wind up making their queue times longer.

It may sound like pedantic rambling to you, but the truth is living in society has meaning. People do not live in a vacuum. It is certainly possible to withdraw into your privacy, and everyone does that. But playing online games by its existential nature is a social act, and is governed by social expectations and consequences.
In other words online gaming doesn't work if people just log in and AFK, anymore than the NBA could work if all the players just came in to collect their fat milliondollar paychecks to stand on court and do nothing.
AH AHA HA HA!
"We live in a society!"
God, I never thought I'd see that phrase used in the wild. I thought it was pure meme bait. Well done.

Dave Chappelle tried the warn you, man.
You can never, ever mess with the Alphabet people.

It's not the Killer.
It's the fact they lost.

I have now played 3 games as a Killer and 5 games as a Survivor under the new UI.
The only difference is I had to change my Discord overlay cause it was blocking the Survivor portraits.
Other than that, I'm good.

It's still at the top.

Star Wars: The Old Republic came out with a perfect HUD years and years ago.

When i say that i 360 thats when i run out of loops and he is guaranteed a hit if i dont so i try it and hope for the best i dont run up to him and spin him ffs :p
I'd still feel safer trying to milk a window until the Entity blocks it. Heh.

New players don't stay new forever. You cannot expect new players to be as good or as understanding as seasoned players. You also can't expect a game like this to spell out everything for them. Part of the game is learning from your mistakes and as a new player you will make a lot of them. We've all been there.
The grind is still an insanely tall order to climb.
-
The old UI was absolutely not everything that I wanted.
I have issues with the new UI, but there are absolutely some new things being implemented that I think are good.
Still need a totem counter though.

As a Survivor:
Vaulting windows fast gives loud noise notifications to rat you out.

You get exactly ten grunts while carrying a Survivor before they get free.

In a straight line was for simplicity of math, because in a non straight line you will have minor inefficiencies sometimes on the killers part, sometimes on the survivors part. In non straight pathing its equally helpful though because you still have a significantly increased gain rate. On loops for example, 30% increased gain rate can often be difference between another go around the pallet or them getting hit
Why would that matter? Who is looping during the end game collapse? And for the love of God, WHY?
if you have the hatch shut, your goal is on the gates. You don't need to loop. If they wanna try and hide you can just let the Entity devour them. That 4% is just helping you patrol the two exit gates.

@SkeletalElite said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1927509#Comment_1927509
scott junds video ignores a very fundamental part of speeds and that's speed difference.
A 4.6 killer with noed runs at 4.78 m/s
A survivor runs at 4 m/s
115% killer catches up at .6 m/s where as a 115% with NOED catches up with .78 m/s. So with a 4% increase a move speed the rate you gain on a survivor is increased by 30%.
Say for example there is a 10 meter gap between the killer and survivor runs in a straight line. It takes the regular killer almost 17 seconds to catch up where as it takes a killer with NOED only 13 to catch up.
A Survivor running in a straight line on a hard W having his catch time reduced from 17 to 13 seconds is fundamentally dead regardless in an endgame collapse unless for some reason they are both on a straight away, that happens to be leading to an exit gate, that happens to be open, that is in a scenario where Killer powers do not matter.
That's.... oddly specific.

@SkeletalElite said:

actually it gives a speed boost too
4% at purple tier. Less than Bloodlust. Look at Scott Jund's video showing you how little difference that makes in meters covered over a 32 second period on the longest stretch of open map in the game.
It's less than two seconds of game time. Hardly enough of a difference to make or break a perk.
-
Yes.
That's it. Just yes.
NOED does not reveal where you are on the map. It does not slam doors shut. It doesn't do anything except let you treat a Healthy Survivor as an Injured one.
So yes. You got outplayed. Not only did you get outplayed, but here are a list of things you can't use as an excuse:
• Blood Trails
• Injured Sounds
• Trying to get the last few percent of a gen done
• Slugging
• Camping
These sorts of threads are the same old, same old attempt to say "NOED REWARDS KILLERS FOR KILLS THEY DID NOT EARN" myth that refuses to die.

Pls read the post again.

Thinking the entire solo experience of the game hinges on Decisive Strike is flimsy. I said what I said.

Ds and ooo Nerf sucks i know but 3-4 man swf won´t even be affect as much as solo survivor.
Playing solo or 2 man swf is more dependent on luck, latency, hitbox, dc and bad teammates, now they give other players even an excuse to not do anything useful, i can see easily survivor not doing gens or anything with an excuse now beacuse otherwise they ds will be deactivated (cry).
Every Change they do makes playing solo more and more a living hell.
Everyone knows that a complete SWF group is a major reason what is making this game unbalanced, so why are they making it worse for everyone else.
Everyone complains that this game is so full of SWF survivors and some of them even toxic, but what do you expect?
This game is getting more and more of a game which you can only play as a team and still everyone gets off on every nerf even if it is justified like ds.
You know that will happen? The person who has Ds will not do anything to keep ds or just dont care and the other 3 will Constantly doing gens. Give 1 person Detectives hunch and bye bye noed. There is easily no other objective left and everyone will be unsatisfied again.
That´s why there are mostly noobs and Storng Swf groups, you all can applause yourself good job
Thanks for making this game unplayable for solo player. I´m out.
Your entire experience for this game hinges on Decisive Strike? That's.... flimsy.

Pretty hard if the team is scraping into the endgame with a member or two already dead. Doors can easily spawn in ways that it’s impossible to open them without someone taking a chase, and many of the pallets will probably already be gone by then.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1925305#Comment_1925305
Tell me why that logic can’t be applied to Undying. I really wanna know.
Because Undying was propping up perks during active gameplay, not during the endgame.

Scott is one of two content creators that actually look at both sides equally and isn't a hypocrite. The other would be Tru3. Some smaller content creators like Graenz aren't bad either. I would say Otz, as he isn't a hypocrite, but he is a killer main.
I'd throw PainReliever in the same category as Otz, but as a Survivor Main.

I am a red rank Survivor and I can tell you that strat does not fly down here. I can get two safe unhooks, do two gens, and evade the killer and still not get enough to pip.

Yes, that counters tunneling and camping. But when you say things like this it completley ignores the reason why so many people hate these playstyles. It's dismissive to just blatantly ignore how frustrating that is for survivors.
I am okay with being dismissive of absurd things to complain about. Including, but not limited to: tunneling, camping, NOED, and ten other things that get daily nerf threads. Just cause you don't like doesn't mean it should be removed from the game or nerfed. And this is coming from someone that plays more Survivor than Killer. By a lot.

Absolute bull. That 4% is huge. A lot of previously safe loops that 115% killers with weak powers cannot land a hit in, and 110% killers heavily struggle to, are now unsafe thanks to that "insignificant" speed boost.
I've been playing with Play With Your Food for a while now, and getting just a 5% speed boost makes otherwise weak killers a real threat that are very difficult to loop.
Never underestimate speed boosts.
You shouldn't be looping during the end game!
If the loops were safe... and now they aren't...
... it's almost like...
NO ONE ESCAPES DEATH
