Yeah he’s mega fun. I just dumped loads of bloodpoints into him but then I found out he’s significantly weaker on console so now I can’t bring myself to play him seriously. Still fun though.
-
It’s an interesting combo but sort of unnecessary because being tunnelled with a trap / pushed off boxes is going to get you killed anyway.
-
Alien chapter is absolutely necessary.
-
None of them.
-
Nurse is technically the best but she’s harder to play than on PC. Spirit is probably the best overall if you take into account how easy she is to play for how strong she is.

you are talking like if solos couldnt get flashlight saves and do gens fast. solos are weaker but doesnt mean are useless.
No, I was referencing cheaters literally flying around the map, insta-popping untouched gens and getting flashlight saves from outside the bounds of the map lol.
-
I understand people wanting to play with their friends, but at the same time SWF is cheating by overriding the game mechanics which is a shame. But then again it seems to be acceptable for people to fly around insta-popping gens and flashlight saving from out of bounds so it’s whatever floats your boat.
-
I was under the impression that condole Nurse is the same as PC albeit harder to play.
-
Teabagging is a display of dominance and superior skill, especially if done at the exit gates.
-
I’d be happy to see more perks revolving around the slugging mechanic.
-
Gen speeds are un-fun.
SWF is un-fun.
Med kits are un-fun.
Toolboxes are un-fun.
Deadhard is un-fun.
Several loops/maps are un-fun.
Etc etc etc.
-
I suggested larger updates with more reworks of underperforming add-ons and perks.
-
I don’t really see how this is an issue tbh. If she wastes her time going around checking boxes just to get you out of the game, she loses. Every killer can tunnel anyone out of the game if they choose to do so. Pig has always been strong at this because she has head-popping.
-
No offence but I’m doubtful you’ve been facing particularly decent survivors if you were having such an easy time with only 10 games experience. Nurse can be much easier to play when survivors run in straight lines, act too predictable or fail to use line of sight correctly etc.
That being said I agree she isn’t the hardest killer to play. She’s the hardest to pick up, but Blight is notably harder to master IMHO.
-
If true this is unacceptable and frankly despicable.

Did you just tell me I’m lying?
It’s not just me, literally everyone I ever play with can’t play well against him because of the power-faking into lose lose situations.
So, because you and your friends can’t play vs. PH, you think he should be changed. Sounds about right. Hm. Acceptable trolling. Not too obvious, not too subtle.

I’ve been playing against him since he came out. Nobody ever can play well against a good pyramid head and I’m always in high rank/ high MMR. You want to tell me everyone is just bad? nah..
Nonsense. PH has more counter play than the majority of killers. Just because you struggle doesn’t mean everyone does.
-
PH is fine and doesn’t need changing. Your problem is most likely the fact that you give up against him instead of learning how to juke his highly telegraphed power.

Boon: Fun To Play Against
Within the boon’s influence, killers are afflicted with the “Clunky” status effect.
Boon: Wee Bit OP
Within the boon’s influence, killers are nerfed accordingly. This effect does not apply to Nurse or Blight.
Boon: Dead Harder
Within the boon’s influence, survivors are granted the “Dead Hard” ability. This ability is not affected by the exhaust status.
Boon: Survive With Fun
Witjin the boon’s influence, all killers are immediately disconnected from the servers and incur a 5 minute queue penalty.
-
Replace her blink with an ability that automatically kills all survivors within the map.
-
Can you really not do all the flicks / techs that PC can do? I was just getting into Blight but will have to retire him if that’s the case.
-
Reject weakness.
-
Hmm. Sounds problematic. Maybe we could make it so that Pinhead is stunned for 5 seconds after Hoarder activates? Hoarder is a wee bit OP as it stands.
-
The people who were struggling vs. Wraith are still going to struggle just as much after the nerfs, it’s just that now he’s going to have an even harder time vs, decent/good/great survivors, all for nothing.
If you hate vs. Wraith now, you’re still going to hate it after the patch.
-
The quality of my games has increased notably.
-
He definitely came across pretty badly that’s for sure.
-
Ideally you want to level up ASAP as tier 3 applies the most pressure, but ofc you have to adapt to the situation at hand. If you’re not under much pressure early game definitely focus on tiering up. It’s backloaded pressure at the end of the day.

It's completely 100% against you personally :) (joke for anyone not realising this)
The filter generally seems to censor out names, and part of other words etc. I will bring this feedback back to the relevant people.
The filter blocks an absurd number of mundane, normal words.

Where is he? All I saw was Lisa Trevor but with Nemesis as a skin. Is Oni Nemesis?
I thought Nemesis was a park?

Probably a few months. It got boring being a new survivor facing people with thousands of hours experience. It was tedious to learn the maps and tiles when every chase lasted 20-30 seconds and I got maybe 2 or 3 chases per match, amounting to let’s say 1 min 30 seconds practice per game.
Came back for SBMM and things have greatly improved.
-
To be fair Clown is a wee bit OP.
-
Survivors like to tunnel and camp generators but they don’t like being tunnelled or camped themselves 😁
-
It’s because the game is fundamentally flawed and this is amplified at the highest levels. SBMM is great for the average player like myself, but if you’re particularly good, you have to sweat pretty much every match and there’s plenty of frustration to go along with it. You end up fighting the game mechanics more than your opponents.
That being said I’m a fan of SBMM because it has significantly improved the quality of my games, and the issues being commented on are not SBMM related more so flawed game design being amplified, and reverting SBMM does nothing to truly solve the core issues and merely obscures them.

28m of free Lucky Break and Distortion.
That’s a good point too actually, if just one survivors brings it, they give a bonus perk slot to all 3 of their teammates.

Shadow step boon:
Up to 4 can be active at a time (4 survivors.)
Can be reapplied by up to 4 survivors (spammable.)
Can cleanse a hex totem whilst blessing said totem (2 actions at once.)
In addition to removing scratch marks, it counters a bunch of killer perks rendering them mostly wasted slots, including an actual one-time use, supposedly “high risk high reward” hex perk.
This is fine.
Oh and it also counters NOED, arguably the weakest second-chance perk in the game which already had the most counter play.

Bare in mind, many survivor mains think Wraith was “a wee bit OP.”

Xenomorph.

At the end of the day this is a computer game and people are talking about trivial matters such as teabagging or hook hitting and framing them as some kind of serious abuse.
If these things genuinely cause you distress, honestly the best thing you can do is to take a look inwards and find out why you’re reacting so negatively to what is essentially meaningless nonsense.
Now, this is not victim blaming. There are no victims to flashlight clicking, etc. This is genuine advice. I know through my struggles with mental health how circumstances in life can affect perspective and blow things out of proportion, but it’s not healthy to allow something as insignificant as teabagging in a computer game to affect you in such a way, and hiding the true problem by sanitising every aspect of said game is never going to help you where it actually counts.
Just look at it with perspective. These are random strangers. They don’t know you. What they’re doing is not a personal attack even though it may feel otherwise. They’re just playing a game, trying to get a reaction. Just brush it off for what it truly is instead of allowing it to turn into something more.

Multiplayer games where you have to rely on your teammates and go againts other players always had their fair share of toxicity.
Do you think Dead by Daylight stands out as one of the more toxic ones out there?
If so,how would you fix it or at least try to minimize it?
So far, these are the things players in general find toxic in this game:
Flashlight clicking,t-bagging,camping,slugging,trolling,wasting pallets for no reason, hitting a survivor on hook.
Personally I think the game was designed in such a way that it will create a lot of toxicity just based on the mechanics of the game.
I don’t think any of the things you listed are an issue. I can understand people wanting a system in place to combat post-game attacks, but trying to prevent people from teabagging or hitting the hook etc is excessive.
-
DH is easily the most powerful perk in the game. Not only does it give you a free health state but it can dramatically extend chases at the mere press of a button. With how fast gens fly by in conjunction with how many pallets are on most maps, DH can take that well fought, hard earned chase from the killer and turn it into a game losing chase, simply by pressing a button. It’s pretty broken when used correctly.

Imagine needing an unfair advantage for the easy mode? Get better.
Stretched res shows you things you aren’t supposed to see. It is cheating no matter how you try to slice it.
-
Considering SWF is a game-breaking advantage which overrides the intended mechanics of the game via third party software, I think it’s reasonable to be able to more reliably identify the sanctioned cheaters.
-
I fully intended to be a killer main but I honestly find killer boring to play. You just run after someone, break pallets, hit them, run, break pallets, hit them. I get that there are a couple killers where the gameplay is different but it still feels very bland and one-dimensional. None of the powers really appeal to me.
More importantly, killer generally has everything stacked against them, and while I enjoy a challenge when gaming, it just feels like a tedious chore more often than not, having to constantly play perfectly, one wrong move often throwing the entire match, fighting the mechanics of the game more than the survivors.
With survivor I feel mostly in control of the match, which if the opposite of what I was expecting. I’m in control of the chase and the pace. I can run meme builds for fun and still do well despite being pretty bad at survivor, or I can run meta perks when I feel like looping for longer etc. Sometimes it’s nice to just chill on a gen and some a ciggi, then have fun practicing my looping, bring in control of how it all plays out.
I’m the kind of guy who’d always play killer in these types of games, and I’m going to make more of an effort to get into it. I just need to find a killer that isn’t boring and repetitive to play, and get used to wearing headphones all the time, and not having my usual gaming ciggi, and being reactive to the survivors instead of being in control of the match.
-
The problem with this is, how long is long enough?
Ok…badly phrased for this community, but let’s say you’ve the option to give up after 2 minutes. What if you’re being slugged for a legitimate reason, the killer is half way across the map and your team is failing to pick you up? Should you be able to essentially DC but without a DC penalty? Sure, your team have failed to help you, but you’re still screwing them over, so you should still eat the penalty.
I know it’s lame being slugged for 4 mins, but being able to give up too far from that 4 min mark is pretty much the same as DCing. I suppose there’s an argument to be made for the 3 min mark, but then you’d only be waiting an extra minute to bleed out anyways.
-
Degenerate.
-
I highly doubt VHS will surpass DBD as it has such an established player-base and offers licensed killers + horror(ish) vibe, however it definitely looks like some good competition.
That being said I’m very interested in VHS. For such an early stage game it’s looking highly polished and the devs seem to have really thought about the mechanics/systems. Definitely one to watch out for.
-
Hope this means they can start updating F13 or sell it off to another developer.
-
It’s early days ofc but Otz did a test recently and in combination with the add-on that removes the box aura for survivors it looks pretty strong.
