There's a ton of red tank variety on ps4 that probably skews the overall results. People complaining they only saw Nurse and Spirit never rang true for me.
I second this. I am a red rank on PS4. Play Dbd daily. Always get a decent variety of killers. Which is nice. Helps me enjoy it more.

Also, tome challenges are a factor (focusing on the challenge, not escaping or suciding on first hook after completing the challenge).
None. Peanits specified that matches with dc's were not included.

Personally I don't play for the strongest/best, I play for who I have most fun with. I'm a Myers main and have endless fun playing as him. I also enjoy playing Clown, Plague, and Wraith occasionally.
None of these are the strongest killers in the game, but I have more fun with them than I ever do with Spirit, Billy, or Nurse.

Trapper is one of my least favorite killers to play as. I just find him tedious and a chore with all the fetching, carrying, and setting of traps. Then hoping survivors will step in them.
I admire people who are actually good with him like Otz and TheEntityLeftHand.

Giving up is not dc'ing. If they discounted that then Spirit's stats would likely be very different.

The 1000 hatchets one is a walk in the park compared to the skilled Huntress one. I have accepted that I will likely never get that.

Can we? According to those stats he's got a higher kill rate than the Huntress and the Nurse at red ranks. I think these stats are shattering a lot of perceptions of what people like to believe versus what is reality. Our personal experiences don't always represent a majority.

But Spirit is still predictable. Predictability is the dominant way to counter a killer. You just have to notice the patterns. (Just like Freddy and his Fake Pallets.)

No with Freddy and his fake pallets its a memory game. Trying to recall which pallets were used and which ones were non existent when you were awake.
With Spirit you cannot predict what way she will phase, if she is phasing or vaulting, and with prayer beads you have nothing. Its all a guessing game.

I suspect its because with Freddy he has counters that require skill. Whereas with Spirit its predominantly just a guessing game. Luck.

I feel like Billy is the only killer who can really thrive on Rotten Fields.

Not surprised the indoor maps have the highest kill rates. Nor that the farms and Haddonfield have the best survival rates.
Was very happy to see my favorite boogeyman Myers holding his own in the kill rates in both red ranks and across all ranks, too. Love ya, Mikey.
One stat that didn't surprise me was seeing Hag last in the popularity picks at red ranks because I hardly ever see her myself. It does make me wonder why though because she is a solid killer.

Killers punish themselves by camping. If the team is smart they'll gen rush while the killer camps.

My sympathies. That's an ugly cocktail of annoying and frustrating. Billy is ok though.

I play best with Myers, and I also have the most fun with him. He's my main for killer.
Other killers I play for fun but don't necessarily do great with is Clown, Plague and Wraith.

Not even comparable. Michael has to work hard to get his infinite tier 3. When he gets it you can hear him coming, use loops to avoid it etc.
Spirit has her prayer beads from the get-go. She doesn't have to do a thing to use them. There is little to no counterplay to it. Should not have to bring in spine chill on the off chance you might get a prayer beads Spirit. People say watch the grass move. That's nice but not every gen is beside grass and not every map has grass.
Prayer beads is a stupid broken add on that was long overdue a nerf.

Michael Myers was locked up in a sanitarium since he was 6 years old and he still figured out how to drive a car like an expert back to his home town.
Now there is an intelligent guy.

I love when the killer spent so much time searching for the last survivor and they still get out.
Unless we stand a chance of both escaping then I don't mind my team mate not coming to get me. At that stage its just dragging out the match.
