  • I agree with your list. Here are my personal wishlist for the game that I believe would overall improve the game. 6 is a biased bonus however.

    1. The majority of the old maps reworked to better fit this game in current year. This to me is the largest issue this game faces right now. Personally I feel BHVR needs to be more communicative to the community and talk about maps more even if they already have ideas in mind. Stuff like addressing god windows, tile spawns, whether certain maps are fun and if not what areas ruin fun, balance, etc. If all maps are adjusted so there's no more BS bloodlust can be reworked or removed. I personally believe Bloodlust Tier 1 is fine but there shouldn't be a case where a killer is in Bloodlust 3 unless they're memeing.
    2. A reconnect option needs to be added to live matchmaking and dedicated servers. Adding this will reduce reason for worry over disconnections from internet issues or the game crashing.
    3. Being able to save several loadouts per character. Perhaps this can be a prestige award or just a base part of the game. Regardless I believe everyone would enjoy being able to change perks on the fly without needing to manually select all perks on their build.
    4. Reworking the remaining majority of items and offerings that have not been addressed yet. This includes mori's, keys and toolboxes. All 3 affect game speed in some way and I believe having a consistent amount of time in game without anything drastically affecting that will improve the game health.
    5. Overhaul of Custom Games option - This includes allowing a player to spawn into a map on their own to explore the map, loading a game in with friends with various altered rules such as amount of generators required or how many hooks until death, etc. There needs to be something to allow players to test things to because the new player experience is pretty awful. There are so many perks, so many frustrating features that can cost you the game if it catches you off guard. Being able to at least test a handful of things on your own in a custom game would greatly help alleviate some of those problems without the pressure of getting destroyed your first game trying something new.
    6. As a bonus Mod Support - I firmly believe such things increases the longevity in games and brings the community closer together. Whether it be community made cosmetics or maps there's always a dedicated group of people willing to put time in and a group of people willing to try things out.
  • Each mori should have their own special requirement that's more than just 1 hook and keys should require a puzzle to open up black locks. Yellow mori is perfectly fine though.

I wish keys were more common and there was more than just the hatch to open. For example a special chest with a lot of loot in it that requires any key.

  • $0. None of the cosmetics interest me however if they add The Cannibal's Family Dinner Suit or some Freddy cosmetics I'll drop $20 in auric cells.

Bubba is neglected enough as it is. Half his addons don't work, his power is weak and overall his iconic suit is missing from the roster of cosmetics.

If they're only going with remake (2010) Freddy they could make Freddy appear on fire for a cosmetic. Would pay top dollar for an original Robert Englund head slot cosmetic though. Maybe even with new voice overs. Doesn't have to be Englund himself but it could sound like him.

Outside of that I have zero interest in most of the cosmetics. Nothing against the design team but nothing screams out to me as a must have. Admittedly I'm not a fan of micro transactions so that doesn't help either. If there was big DLC packs for the cosmetics on the store I'd probably own a good chunk of cosmetics.

For example $15 Trapper bundle which would give you a bulk amount of cosmetics available in the shop for Trapper.

  • My personal favorite content creator for DBD has always been Lefty (TheEntityLeftHand) because he plays a lot of Trapper and seemingly makes him look top tier no matter what. Guy is also super entertaining and immersed in his role. Deserves more credit for what he does to be honest but I'm biased.

Lately I've really been enjoying Not Otzdarva and Scott Jund. Both are really informative and create smart discussions and make detailed videos breaking down problems with the game. Tru3 kind of does that but he only really does that live on Twitch in an improvised fashion but he's also another player that tries to create healthy discussion. Either way all three of them add some spin on healthy discussion for DBD.

  • Someone do this and ask for Steam Workshop and mod support thanks.

    • Spirit Change: Because survivors had no fun playing against her because of no counterplay
    • Freddy Change: Because survivors had no fun holding m1 longer
    • Deep Wound Change: Because survivors had no fun holding m1
    • Upcoming Doctor Change: Because it's most annoying killer for survivors

What do you think is the next? Ruin? Moris? Legion? Pig?

    Nurse changes were overdue.

    Spirit changes were literally nothing

Freddy nerf is fine and makes sense because there are so many perks that slow the game down now it's just obnoxious to go against stall build Freddy.

Doctor changes are fine and honestly I'd suggest these changes are because the dedicated servers more than anything. Doctor has been neglected for a while and with dedicated servers his power has been buggy. I'm assuming the rework should make him more consistent overall so I welcome it. Hopefully Bubba and Clown are next.

I can agree on deep wounds to an extent but honestly this has been a problematic feature since day 1 imo.

  • @Falkner09 said:

people have said it pretty clearly here alreayd, except they miss one point: when Clown throws a bottle, he gets the same speed reduction as a survivor affected by the gas, for the same duration. meaning, if he doesnt improve the power using add ons to strengthen it or add new effects, he doesn't technically have a power.

Yeah that's a big problem too. A lot of us have mentioned it so much that it's easier to just mention everything else about Clown. You right though we should have brought it up.

Although I'd agree with anyone who would say Clown should have zero penalties when using bottles. Compromise at 110% while reloading as well. Clown's only thing going for him is being good in chase we might as well try and put that on steroids. Right now it's very lackluster.

After the Doc rework Bubba and Clown need overhauls ideally in that order. They've been neglected for quite some time.

  • Stealth killers are the only interesting killers in this game because they're the only killers who you won't always feel safe knowing they're on the map. With Trapper you know he's around if you hear his TR. With GF, Pig or Wraith they can hide the TR on demand so they're unpredictable and more interesting to play against.

Of course perks hide TR but who cares about that honestly basekit stealth killers are more fun.

For example: I see a Bubba on the map and now I instantly know he'll never use his power on me unless I mess up because he can't sneak up on me without perks.

  • Only decent in chase, takes too much time to reload, he's too slow reloading considering all his power does is barely help in chase, very addon dependent, bottle is very buggy and sometimes randomly breaks before hitting anything, needs a lot of buffs and quality of life changes imo.

Basically forced to run Brutal Strength because his main strength is survivors just drop the pallet early against him.

  • Could we have a compromise and get a sneak peak at the new Doctor chase music?

That way even if people miss the codes they can participate in something cool without missing out.

    Why does everybody want 2V8?

1V4 isnt balanced as it is. Ontop of the wait time its theThe same game concept / format but more crowded.

Id rather have a 5V5 gamemode instead where both teams compete for points with sacrifices/escapes.

First team with a flawless escape/ sucsessful sacrifice of the entire opposing team wins otherwise it goes first to 6 points

1 point is rewarded for an escape/sacrifice

I'd like a gamemode with 2 killers just because I want to chill and kill with some mates. Even if I get my face kicked in because of an imba gamemode it would be fun with a mate.

Doesn't need to be balanced either just hectic and fun. Can't imagine what else you'd want with that many players in a game.

They won't say because they don't want people to abuse/exploit it, much like DC bans.

Even if people knew they could game the system more it would be better than what the current situation is. I get it though if BHVR doesn't want to say but I hope they've thought out everything from outages, game bugs and people being forced to DC through hostage situations.

Like realistically what is someone going to do? Knowing they have 3 DC's before the hour long penalties start kicking in? For someone who has the mindset that they want to DC and game the system 3 DC's daily is probably a lot less than they typically do.

imo this wouldn't be something to worry about if they added a reconnect option. Like yeah in some instances if you crash or DC it's going to pretty much end your game. However let's say you crash at the loading screen. Having the option to reconnect to that specific game would remove all excuses any player has because if their intention was to play they're going to reconnect.

Just my bias though I'm just not comfortable with this system without any quality of life benefits towards genuine players who don't abuse the system. Especially considering with just this patch and the last 5 patches I still get freezes when loading into a game.

Like I know a lot of people who just randomly have their game freeze up when loading into a trial and they have their game on an SSD just like myself. So I can't imagine what else it could be that isn't on DBD's end.

  • How long does it take for the DC penalties to reset? Is it daily? Like I'm not going to say I'm going to DC 5 times in a row but let's say it's just an unfortunate series of events. What happens then?

Like let's say my internet goes out in the morning, then twice in the afternoon and then finally it goes out at midnight. Am I perpetually in a timeout loop or how does it reset?

  • A demo mode for testing maps, addons, perks and other stuff would be nice. We could have those silhouette people from the lobbies act as survivors and Trapper could be the test killer for survivors. Wouldn't need complex ai maybe just them going from point A to point B doing scripted actions like a vault cycle or jumping into a locker.

  • Not gonna lie I've suicided on hook a few times intentionally this week (Clarification - Didn't bother struggling). Main reason is people urban evading around the map with spine chill. It's not their fault either I believe I'm going to just assume they're doing the challenges in the tome being the escape with Spine Chill and no hooks.

It's frustrating though at red ranks knowing all the time you spent running the killer and sitting on the hook just seeing two survivors sitting in the corner of the map afk while there are 5 gens still unfinished. What will I accomplish this game after being saved if the killer is likely to divert back to the only available two targets on the map if they can't find the two people with Spine Chill, Urban and probably Distortion and other perks to hide? Granted those were a handful of games this week but still games like that push me over the edge on considering am I wasting my efforts with this team of survivors?

Quite honestly some of the challenges in the rift / archives / tome what ever it's called doesn't make me feel too positive about playing survivor. Quite a bit of them have ruined my games and tilted me quite a bit. Mind you I primarily play killer but I can't imagine how tilted players who primarily play survivor feel about them.

  • More cosmetic options would be great.

    Chainsaws for Hillbilly and Leatherface

    Hatchets for Huntress

    Flashlight beams for Survivor

Model replacements for flashlight, toolboxes and medkits when you bring them into trial as survivor

Beartrap sound replacement for Trapper would be cool. Various clicking or snapping sounds would be cool.

  • It's a blessing when multiple survivors bring flashlights because usually they're wasting so much time trying to blind you or make saves.

Toolboxes are a nightmare because the game isn't balanced around the extra repair speed survivors get from toolboxes. Really wish BHVR would remove the bonus repair speed on toolboxes and give each one a unique stat instead.

For iri head, yeah it would be reached after throwing 5, but if it was too strong with infantry belt then it could be changed so that you only gain the movement speed after going from 5 to 4 hatchets and so on.

As for Shiny Pin, i think it'd make it easier to get cross-map hatchets and you could use this knowledge in the middle of a chase. wind up a hatchet for the survivor youre chasing, see that a gen nearby is getting close to done or at least has been worked on, and toss over to get the survivor who's repairing. Legion and wraith both have similar addons as well

Fair enough explaining it like that regarding Shiny Pin although I feel as though with how niche it is it could pass as a very rare instead of ultra rare but I can see it working as you described it.

  • Regarding the Ultra Rare Addons.

    Iridescent Head

    Ultra Rare

Increase movement speed 1% for each thrown hatchet, up to a maximum of 5%. Resets back to 110% after reloading.

How does this work with extra hatchets? Is it capped at 5% or does it go over?

edit - Misread, It is capped at 5% my mistake. Assuming once you have thrown at least 5 hatchets the bonus is reached correct? Sounds alright because if you wanted to abuse the movement speed while still being able to throw hatchets you'd only have 2.

    Shiny Pin

    Ultra Rare

While holding a hatchet, the repair progress of Generators can be determined by the intensity of their Auras.

In my opinion this is too gimmicky and as others have stated there are perks that would be better suited for this.

  • The way I see the problem is even if you make them harder to acquire or weaken the effect they're still going to be strong. Also they're easily stockpiled so you never have to worry about running out.

In my opinion Ultra Rare items should be limited to how many you can have and expire from your inventory within a week. That would solve mori's being spammed during events. I wouldn't even mind if they were slightly more common on the bloodweb because at max you're only going to have a limited number + you have to use them soon as you get them.

Main thing I'd do specifically for mori is require 2 hooks for Ebony + if you cancel it the mori goes on a 20 second CD to avoid spamming it and keeping someone in place.

Also clarification - I want both reworked you just didn't have the option for that so I picked Mori's which I see as more of an issue.

Like I said on Suzi's video, the original Dead Rising is the best one imo because it was able to blend the seriousness with the comedy so well. If you decide to ever try to get back into it, definitely play the first one.

I already have a massive catalog to go through and 2020 is looking even crazier with RE3 on the radar. Black Mesa will likely be out of early access soon so I'll be playing that too since Xen looks amazing especially for the Source Engine. I'd love to go back to Dead Rising but the main problem is I have about 15 games on the burner already I feel like I put a lot of games off after buying them know what I mean?

Also may I ask, Suzi's video?

Take it from a guy who played the third one, yeah, it's REALLY bad. Also, I still remember when Capcom decided to make DR3 a Xbox exclusive and a lot where left disappointed, understandably. I hope those days of Capcom are long gone.

Dead Rising 3? I've only played the first one although I never could get into it because I felt like I never had enough downtime. Good game though.

Oh my god, as someone who never got to play the original two Dino Crisis games(I played the third and own it... we don't talk about that one) I'd adore it if they got the same treatment. I'm also sure you know already but there actually is a full console Evil Dead game coming.

I used to own the first two they were great although the first one is a lot scarier than the second one which is more action oriented. Both games however are truly exceptional and it's a shame how the franchise turned out. I never played the third game but I can tell by looking at gameplay footage why it was hated. It was also very strange how the game shifted from the Playstation to the Xbox. Seems like a way to alienate your current audience by going to a completely different platform.

  • Nemesis and Play With Your Food is a strong combo but it needs two perks to combo it. Regarding Bubba it's the same situation where a group of players were saying that Enduring + Spirit Fury was broken on Bubba. Once players adapted everyone stopped caring about the combo. The same thing will happen to Nemesis + Play With Your Food. Players will adapt and learn counters to it and just play around it.

Completely agree with you, I'm optimistic about Resistance because from what I heard from the people who played it is that they had a lot of fun.

Resistance looked pretty good the only complaint I had is you can just drop enemies on top of players. Clearly the maps weren't designed to accommodate the game in some circumstances but at the same time it clearly looked like a side project and I can't really complain now since it's free.

That being said really hoping Dino Crisis is remade next. If that happens the only game I'll ever want is a next gen Evil Dead game. Although an Evil Dead game is out of Capcom's hands and interests more than likely.

  • I'm pretty hyped for RE3 and now since it's known Resistance comes with RE3 no one has an excuse not to try it if they get RE3.

  • I bought the game because of the Halloween Chapter DLC and only played The Shape for about 6 months. Occasionally played survivor but I really was just playing a Halloween game.

  • Yeah the Us Vs Them mentality is extremely tiresome to see. Half the time I see a complaint referring to players it's either "survivors" or "killers" as if when you pick one side you never switch roles. A good example is people complaining about players exploiting the basement bug as if it's only killer players and not just repeat offenders who do the same thing without bias on both roles when ever an exploit is available. It's actually infuriating.

Also when I say exploiting I'm just referring to those knowingly taking advantage of it just to win games and not even for the archives.

They've already been exposed to guns. We're past the point of no return. :P

Dead by Daylight has a lot of blood and gore in comparison to Fortnite where when you die in that game you just disappear with happy sounds playing in the background. Although I was more so referring to the community and meta this game circles around being frustrating.

  • Ultra Rare perks don't make sense because they're usually a 1 and done deal upon purchase in blood web. I would prefer at this point BHVR made customizing perk icons easier with mod support even if very limited.

Perks being ultra rare doesn't make them better either I really don't see a point to this. Also with what you mentioned isn't that what they already do with Green and Purple rarities? They're not always accurate either so would an Ultra Rare perk rarity existing really change that?

  • Ignoring every other conflict I have do you really believe it's a good idea to mix the playerbase of Fortnite with Dead by Daylight? Isn't the majority of the players in Fortnite very young? Would you really want to expose them to this game?

To also clarify on mixing playerbases. Any crossover means someone is likely going to look at the opposite product if they participate in the event or update.

  • I actually really like that concept of Spies from the shadows. I also agree with a lot of your reasoning.

Here's my suggestion / Changes are bolded

    Unnerving Presence

Your presence alone instils great fear.

Survivors within your Terror Radius have a 10% greater chance of trigger Skill Checks when Repairing, Healing or Sabotaging. Triggered Skill Checks' success zones are reduced by 40/50/60%. This effect lingers for 16 seconds when leaving the killers Terror Radius.

    --

The change for the most part is to get more use out of the perk. Usually when a survivor hears the Terror Radius they either hide or power through the gen if it's almost done or if that's not the case you end up chasing them meaning they won't get skillchecks. If the effect was still there for a short duration even after you've left the area the perk is more likely to get more use and be a potential threat.

Same could apply to Overwhelming Presence and Coulrophobia as well or anything that was applied during Terror Radius.

  • He needs a lot of things. His bottle is broken half the time when throwing it and with dedicated servers they seem to explode randomly on their trajectory towards your target. Had 5 games in a row varying from 30-60 ping and they would not reach the target I'm throwing them to half the time EVEN if it was an open field.

Personally I'd give direct hits with bottle some effect on survivors and increase his movement speed while reloading to 110% and outright rework the reload movement speed addons. Also I'd remove any slowdowns Clown receives when throwing bottles. That's my bias of course.

Before the CD her "cooldown" where she would have an asthma attack didn't matter. She would just close the distance with another 2-5 blinks anyway.

I know how Nurse worked prior I played her quite a bit although I never used addons on her because all her addons were broken.

Just can't stand playing Nurse now because she feels meh without addons. She isn't weak by any means I just don't find the killer fun to play personally.

  • Definitely deserved nerfs but the basekit nerf feels just slightly over the top. However it definitely isn't something that cripples her Nurse is still a strong killer.

imo the first blink shouldn't have a CD because in some situations you can literally just run forward and she can't catch you unless she has specific addons.

  • I own the event cosmetics and I feel as though they should be treated like the Hallowed Blight ones where they're put in the shop for purchase. The events were easy AF the reason everyone hated them was because they brought toxicity into the game. I really don't get why people say they worked hard for them which is why they should be exclusive you literally just play the game. Seems more entitled to try and prevent others from being able to acquire them even with auric cells than players asking for them tbh..

    @Peanits said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/894099#Comment_894099

That's the point; we found a way to determine through our data who played during the event so we can return the cosmetics only to those who earned them. If you had them, you will be getting them back.

Is there any way what so ever you can restore legacy for those who lost it? Even though I personally don't have legacy that's the only cosmetic I see that has a reason to be exclusive and restored to their rightful owners.

  • Quite honestly you should be able to select two challenges at once. That being a killer and survivor specific challenge. It's annoying switching roles and forgetting to change your tome challenge. That or each role should have their own tome that way we can avoid the problem all together.

Now just in general it would be nice to select up to 3 challenges at once although with the way the challenges are placed on the track you'd likely only do one or two at a time anyways as it's a linear line.

  • I'd be fine with them being available in one way or another. I personally have all of the event cosmetics and I believe all players should have access to them.

Treat them like how the Hallowed Blight cosmetics are treated. Once the event is over if you didn't earn them sell them on the shop and be done with it. People who want them can then buy them if they missed out on getting a freebie.

I acquired them through the event and they weren't hard earned cosmetics. The issue was survivors sabo'ing objectives or DC'ing before you hooked them, everyone was farming and everyone resorted to scummy tactics for their points. The actual objective for the events weren't difficult at all it just brought a lot of toxicity in the game.

  • The only problem I have with DS is if you manage to hook 1 - 2 people and get back to a survivor who still has DS ticking after they've been fully healed and then they DS you even though you didn't tunnel.

Only thing I'd change is making the perk deactivate if you've fully healed yourself as survivor. Possibly if another survivor is hooked before you but that seems like it could put some survivors in unfair scenarios vs a camper.

For the most part I feel like the perk is in a good spot but there are some instances where the perk punishes you as killer when you can literally go out of your way to avoid the survivor with DS and still get stabbed.

  • I have the cosmetics and I still believe they should be given out. The majority of games I remember from that event were people farming them anyway because the events were ruining games with how they were set up.

I'm doubtful the majority of the people who own these cosmetics equip them aside from the Huntress mask. Would be nice to see more of them out there to see a higher chance of seeing them in game. What ever though.

you named your post wrong, you should name it "rank reset nerf"

and tbh i would love to see it harder for survs to pip so survs wont be pushed so hard to red rank (because atm i feel like im getting pushed there, even tho i dont want to be in red ranks)

I feel the same way. At times I can intentionally be useless and just follow the killer with Diversion and do nothing else and I'll black pip occasionally in red ranks. I shouldn't be able to be a useless detriment and still have a chance to pip up or even stay in those ranks it's actually so silly.

  • The feature ("Bug") was good because it helped me play around my teammates estimated skill level instead of assuming everyone was at my rank.

I'd like survivors to be able to see rank, level and prestige at all times in lobby it would be nice. Would also be nice to see each survivors loadout in lobby but that may be wishful thinking.

  • @Kenidur

"While that may be incentive to the survivors, it's not a deterrent."

This is what I mean though. If camping absolutely needs to be stopped it needs a penalty that's inside the gameplay loop. I personally prefer compensating survivors properly for their time but there are a few things the devs could do that would stop camping and would impose similar survivor penalties. For example.

    • Imposing AFK Crows on killers which disable their power. This would be a similar penalty to Head On. While I see no reason a killer would receive this penalty normally I still see it as too drastic but it would stop Leatherface from camping for example but it wouldn't solve much outside of that.
    • Impose an actual in-game penalty to killers when the emblem penalty has been ticking for a while such as prompting survivors to work on a generator and possibly even giving them a small boost to repair speed.

Outside of those two fields I don't really see any options aside from changing hooking mechanics to outright prevent camping. Perhaps being able to complete an objective that when complete destroys the hook a survivor is hanging from or relocating them on their unhook. Even so I see the above two options as too drastic and not fixing everything either.

Not to be rude but I don't really have anything to say about the slugging statement as I see it as being perfectly fine as is even though yes it is boring for survivors. I still see slugging, camping and tunneling as being fine it's just survivors need proper compensation for certain things. I agree camping is frustrating to deal with but I genuinely don't see a realistic way to impose a penalty without breaking something else. That's why I believe the focus shouldn't be punish killers but to compensate survivors properly.

Increasing bloodpoint categories for survivors (And killers) would be a start for those who get tunneled all game. 10k each category instead of 8k wouldn't be bad.

  • @Kenidur said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/866693#Comment_866693

The problem you're missing is the survivor you are camping gets nothing and often depips, not because they were bad, but because you camped. The survivors are feeling punished because you chose to camp. You kill their ability to max their points as well; unhook, safe hook, healing, self heal, chase and any related things are gone or extremely reduced. Couldn't a portion of this be considered hijacking the game? Your actions are having a direct negative effect on all players. So why shouldn't the killer be punished? It's his a tions that have caused this.

You essentially said what I said but minus our opinion on what the solution should be.

A penalty won't work and you can't prevent camping unless you rework the entire hook system so camping isn't possible. Not a single soul cares about the penalty affecting their emblems for camping. The same will apply for any out of game penalty you add. If you really want to add a penalty it needs to be part of the game loop that affects the game as it goes on. We can argue Kindred and SWF voice is a solution but that isn't a one size fits all solution. People camp for a different number of reasons too which is essentially the same as AFK'ing the game out.

Instead of focusing on punishing killers I'd look more towards fixing the game, adding compensation for survivors who have their games ruined and adding incentives to progress through ranks so the already trivial implemented penalty has a purpose. Yes I am actually suggesting a reward for survivors who stick it through the entire game if they are 1-hooked for what ever reason. Anyone can argue whether they deserve it or not but if their entire game consist of being idle on a hook and then hitting the struggle key it's safe to say that game was out of their control at that point. With the last 2 survivors it is of course different but I'm referring to scenarios where 4 survivors are alive.

tl;dr - I agree with the problem but punishment won't do anything because there will always be a way around it.

  • The killer emblem penalty should have been a bonus for survivors instead in my opinion. Penalty doesn't do anything beneficial aside from put killer in games where they're more likely to succeed from camping.

I don't believe the killer should ever be punished for camping. There just needs to be more incentive for survivors to not suicide on hook whether they're going to be insta-mori'd or camped to death. Survivors should get some sort of tell or buff if the killer excessively camps though. I'm a bit biased but something to compel them to hop on a generator if a killer is camping.

The part that sucks is the game going out.

Why would I care if you got a free cosmetic?

I meant as a licensed killer but yeah I know it was in poor taste to make that statement.

Wait the T-800 was just a cosmetic in DG?

Realistically I cant say I'm surprised with the outcome of DG although hoping those who bought the game get compensated somehow.

  • Does this mean we can get the T-800 Terminator in Dead by Daylight now?

Sucks for those who bought the game but ngl I want a T-800 Killer.

Just curious how many other people find her unfun to go against. I enjoy playing her and i'm not calling for nerfs, but man I do not enjoy going against this killer. Playing as is a way different story. ;)

I dislike playing as and against Hag in every game. It's not even that she's strong she's just boring to play against. There's only like one player I've encountered that played her well and made her a fun experience to play against in the past 2 years. Everyone else proxy camps with her because that's one of her main strengths. I don't understand why people complain about Leatherface when Hag does the same thing except her power won't cause her to lose the game most of the time doing it.

If I could remove a killer from the game I'd remove Hag. Most unfun killer to play against in the game I'd rather play against an Iri head Huntress slugging everyone for the full 4 minutes. I'd like to believe Hag is probably fun to play against but every Hag player I see just hovers around hook. Doesn't matter what rank I was whether it be rank reset or red ranks it's always been the same.

  • The Oni seems like he's in a really good spot at the moment. The only thing I'd guess that needs adjusted is addons. Although I never play with addons because I feel as though if I only find a killer playable with addons the killer is just bad. I do see Oni being viable without addons and he is even really fun to play as and against.

The main thing is people are going to need to learn how to counter him. Janick gave some good information in the PTB forums that should be easier to access but a lot of people won't ever see that information. Which makes understanding The Oni much easier.

  • I hit ruin skillchecks 7/10 times if I had to guess. It's not hard to do just sometimes I can't focus or I don't feel like it. If that's the case I'll just look for Ruin or try to loop the killer.
