He's in my top 5. Him and Pinhead were very well done.

Jake's looks excellent (no bias), Quentin and Nea look good, Feng looks alright, but they did David and Kate absolutely dirty.

Reference image for anyone who hasn't seen them.
Quentin is the only one who looks improved, imo.

I'm liking the Pig add-ons.
-
The amount of times I find myself dashing around trying to get to the hooked survivor's location...and then they die before I can even get to them let alone rescue them. Ridiculous.
-
This map is a finely laid crap. Terrible.
-
They're all good. Welcome changes.
The Video Tape add-on is especially interesting as the survivors 'wake up' in to a Saw trap. Nice touch.
Mixed with another strong add-on, this could be very effective.
-
Give us 2018 Laurie, sorted.
*edit* with wine glass charm.
-
Overwhelming Presence go brrrrrr...
But yeah, I find this perk buff rather concerning.
-
I noticed every other game is Spirit now.
Enjoy it while lasts.
-
He's much better now. Was a crusty turd before.
-
If the in-game survivors stand a chance of escaping, anyone on this forum could too.
...except if you're a complete spanner who goes around screaming "WAAAAAAAZUP" to the killer.

Assuming you meant addon, and no. He didn't spawn there, he ran there... from a few tiles away
Yes excuse me, I meant add-on. Can't think of the title off the top of my head.
I expect the zombie was just following an escaping survivor. Probably wanted out of the fog too.

It's the only map that:
1. I frown on being loaded in to.
2. Would LOVE to see removed.

Common nature of onlne PvP unfortunately. With the 1v4 concept, it's even worse.
DBD has been a PS+ game etc and thus extended to a wider audience. Although that's not necessarily a reason in itself, the game has reached a wider variety of players, many well-versed in being toxic.
More often than not, when you encounter one of these little toxic crapbags, on PS4 at least, their user profile has all the usual suspects, Fortnite, Warzone, Rocket League etc. Often accompanied by an anime avatar and obnoxious profile message. It's tedious really.
Those hilarious 'content creators' streaming videos joyfully championing the process of annoying the killer until they disconnect don't help either. But who cares: start with "Whats happening guys?" and end with "like and subscribe!".
The sheep watch the videos, learn all the tricks and cheap tactics etc...see how the "cool kids" act...and then have fun attempting to make others miserable by spoiling their experience.
A tale as old as time.
-
Did you use that perk where the zombies appear in the exit gate area after all gens are done?
-
I would love to have the option to be killer against survivor bots. Would be a breath of fresh air.
-
Character: Legion.
Power: Trickster

That's it.
And it's even more irritating when the boastful "it's fine" comments come from work-shy Funko Pop collectors.

I would like to have it so all perks are kept when upgrading a character, but add-ons and offerings are lost. That would be far more reasonable.
And make everything on the bloodweb require less Bloodpoints. 100-200 points from a daily and a couple of Rift challenges doesn't take you far at all.

The thing is it has the same basic stuff in REsistance. But for anyone that has played REsistance would realize quickly that it is really nothing like DBD in how it works. I understand why people compare these games because these are the closest things but honestly they aren't even that close still. Its 4v1 with survivors and a killer and that's where the big and meaningful comparisons stop. You could say that they have to do an objective together to escape but that's just like every game.
I think it's the horror genre that builds the association between DBD with those other games.
If someone asked "What's an alternative to Mario Kart?" They'll probably mention Crash Team Racing, Garfield Kart and Nicklodeon Racers rather than games like Gran Turismo, F1 and Dirt.

Leatherface.
Love. To. Grill.

It's a strong perk.
Especially good for stalk killers and those with increased mobility.

Well personally I dont think that lisence should ever come to DBD.
Yes, that whole director situation is a road well-trodden. It's not only DBD, various media and personalites refuse to include the franchise in podcasts, discussions, reviews etc. And understandable so.
But I often daydream after watching (or rewatching in this case) a horror film and imagining how the character could be represented in DBD.
-
I had an idea about that, in which it could be one of the perks for the Creeper from Jeepers Creepers.
-
I used to use it as an opportunity to have a few more swigs of beer. Miss my drinking days sometimes.
-
That's why it's worth keeping an eye on the Chain Hunt cycle. When it's 3/4 full it's probably worth solving that box.
-
He's one of my faves.
I think BHVR got this one right, and I can very critical at times.

I will say something else: F13th lost 60% of its playerbase within two months and never surpassed DbD at its lowest.
Be that as it may, F13 will always have a special place in my heart. Bugs and all.
-
Some like to wait to the last second to change to a flashy skin survivor equipped with a souped up flashlight or a key.
They don't want to have the killer use Franklin's or Lightborn. Little rascals.
-
"Gun Media are pleased to announce the continuation of Friday 13th: The Game."
😃
-
Not when ridiculous "in a single match" Rift challenges are released.
-
I just listened to the DBD quote on YouTube, carefully.
"You opened the box" doesn't sound like Doug Bradley, but "I came does".
-
I will say one thing: if F13 still had regular content being released, I would of shelved DBD a long time ago.
-
All the online games mentioned feature an antagonist going after four individuals attempting to survive/escape. Whilst the gameplay differs, the basic 1v4 players horror format remains.
Regarding Resistance: four humans deal with certain dangers as they attempt to do tasks to unlock a door in order to escape. Much like DBD.
If someone asked "What are the closest alternatives to DBD?" most would mention some or all of the games you listed.
-
The one that gets me is the "Unhook 10 survivors that unhooked you" challenge.
So basically shake your butt at a killer, get hooked, and hope someone actually does unhook you and that the person who unhooks you actually gets hooked. And then you have to watch out for other survivors unhooking your saviour.
It's such a circumstantial challenge. A piece of garbage.
-
After playing against some particular sweat-drenched Spirits last night, I can happily say that less 'Pro' Spirit mains is a good thing.
-
The mountainous regions, south of Poland.
-
No. My opinion:
As frustrating as DBD can be sometimes, VHS is not going to surpass it in terms player base and widespread recognition. I think it will become another inferior alternative like Last Year, Home Sweet Home and Resident Evil Resistance. The online Predator and Alien games are in the same boat too.
I will check out VHS as a horror fun and hope it does well, but I believe DBD is too far established with it's big licences and dedicated community to be knocked off the road.
The only game which is partially similar that I can see making somewhat of an impact is the Evil Dead game.
Friday 13th, a game I personally always preferred, is the only title that is at the same level as DBD.

Giggity.

Add offline bots.

The Raccoon City map is plate of hickory smoked buttocks. It's terrible.
I've said it before but I'm 100% serious when I say I would be pleased if it got removed.
-
I feel for people who get a ban after a legit internet glitch. Utterly unfair. You can have a great internet service and still get the occasional blip.
-
@Falkner09 said:
They could remove it for the others. Nemesis says, "Stars" during his Mori, but only if he's killing Jill or Chris, so theyve already done context sensitive lines.
That's a very good point actually.
-
I've mentioned this too. It is a possibility that the inclusions of Chatterer and other Cenobites influenced the removal of the Pinhead voice lines.
Personally, I am not at all fussed by the loss of the quote, and I am a big Hellraiser fan. Hopefully we will see the Butterball and Female Cenobites. I would also be happy to see Dr Channard and Angelique, but those are real long shots.

Now that you mentioned yellow gens I realized I haven't seem them in a while, what happened to them?
Sure there was one challenge in the latest rift level.
-
Incoming "Lery's is so scary we had to disable it! We'll have a fix soon and the Doctor will see you then!" tweet announcing another map disability.
I've just noticed the "10 x gens completed in co-op" challenge is bugged, cutting off the survivor path on the Rift....and killer waiting times are an absolute dust-gather this morning.
This is just sad now.
-
Something definitely should be given as an incentive to P3 your characters.
I would say a large helping of bloodpoints and a quantity of shards would be more than reasonable. That way you could plump up your newly prestige 3 characters' perks and add-ons and have some shard pocket money to spend on skin parts of your choice.
