the 1 mil cap is only for when you play, but if the devs give you BP like after a charachter loss you can have 10mil etc,... the cap is artificial in that its only for you collecting BP but it can gowell over 1 mil if the devs gift you 15 mil BP

All good, they will probably take one of the least played toons, like Adam for example and confirm he is gay and that will be it. I plan on p3ing him, and will continue to do so even if he is gay, I like playing the toons no one else plays LOL

Added: Places like Brazil banned ot due to gore, but later unbanned it.... nothing to do with racism. In addition, I dont think a governor can ban a US citizen from living in his birth state. Tobe Hooper was born in Texas and I cant find any info on him being "banned from Texas" what you are saying sounds like rumors tbh.

I was just trying to gather opinions. There have been instances in the past where people wear blackface in Comic-con and they get banned from the competition. I highly doubt they was doing it to be racist yet they still get banned from it.
This is being thrown around as if someone simply wore "blackface" to a comic con, that is simply not true.
Someone in costume was being a "dog" and painted their face brown to go with the costume, no one wore blackface to a comic con, it was literally a dog costume. A bit of a reach to compare that to actual Hollywood created blackface. Dressing up as a dog isnt the same thing as blackface.

I dont think, companies actually care, I mean the first question on the DBD questionaire is/was "are you female or male?" If they were all into this fluid gender stuff they wouldnt ask that question first. Majority of people do not care about all this stuff, it is such a tiny percentage of players and people in society that its negotiable if its even done for money, its more of a good guy badge. They released pride emotes etc,.... it makes people forget that game they lo9ve so much, is actually a corporation paying dividends to shareholders and the owners.

maybe if the income was donated to a good cause, like that Charity DLC did. But then it would also depend on how they portray their token gay/les/bi/trans characters. And here they have to be very very careful to please everyone.
there is just the other way simpler option: just add it via some lore entries to existing and/or new characters where it actually fits and does not feel slapped on.
I totally understand, however, we all know majority of players dont post on these forums so just sharing a difference of opinion.

I hope they make someone bisexual just to show that they acknowledge our existence. To this day, only one person I've spoken with didn't automatically assume I was gay when I mentioned I had a boyfriend. I get it, bisexuality is rare, but a simple "Or are you bisexual?", even as an afterthought, would really be appreciated.
Bisexuality is not rare, of LGBT it is the larger of all the groups. Majority of people who identify as LGBT consider them,selves bisexual. True homosexuals and lesbians are more rare.
There are also studies that show all humans are bisexual, but I wont go there.

This is exactly what most people of the LGBT+ dont want though. It is pretty forced and feels like total unnecessary pandering.
just integrate LGBT themes naturally just like how hetero relations are already part of the game. Nothing will be lost here. Nothing would be retconned. Some chars may even still be not confirmed to their sexuality at all.
"most" thats an opinion but some do want that so,... your opinion is yours, but others most certainly want it. I wouldnt mind if they did it.

1 trans female
Anything less is non inclusive enough. As I mentioned bisexuals make up the larger of the group, majority of people in LGBT claim to be bisexual so you need to include them too.
Make it 19.99 and call it a day. Let people who want it buy it, those who dont want it, can not buy it.

Damn, I didn't know that. It sucks that those groups are trying to censor our beloved game. Fortunately, BHVR is a Canadian company, so they still have the rest of the world to sell to even if the current USA administration succeeds in getting the game banned from the USA.
No one is trying to get the game banned, I was just saying this game is already being used by governments in regards to censoring video game violence. Therte is no active push to get this game banned in the USA, but it sure was used in videos to push the idea that video games are excessive vioolence, and the clips used were specifically Huntress hacking away on Claudette with an axe LOL

Current administration in the US has used videos of Huntress mori Claudette as evidence of "violence in video games" I am not saying they will use a LGBT survivor as hate crime proof, but this game is already being used in videos as evidence they need to censor some games and is very real.

If you are trying to secure the kill instead of chasing others you are limiting yourself to one kill. As mentioned, you can turnn a 1k into a 3k-4k by not camping that one dude. Depends on variables but it is possible.
If you are having trouble and find yourself in this position, run blood warden, its magic when it works.

I have 1600 hours in the game and have taken two breaks from it, the most recent one, I left when they changed Freddy and just came back about 3 weeks ago so they released 3 DLC in that time. Taking a break is good man

no, because its also there so survivors can see the progress and run over and tap it open if it is 99ed. It works for both sides.

Maybe Legion and Julie are bisexual,?? Pew Research has studies that show majority of bisexuals questioned were in relationships with opposite sex, but still were bisexual. It is totally possible to have attractions to both sexes and be in a relationship.

The problem with resetting progress on exit doors is that it could create a scenario where killer could interrupt everytime you go to open it and would create a no win scenario for survivors which I think they tend to avoid doin, hence the hatch.
If progress would reset when you let go of opening a gate it leads to other issues that would be more problematic for players.

Tbh I didn't even know that Frank and julie were a couple. So I can't really speak on that. My MAIN issue is that I feel like the dev's are only doing this to make themselves look good for pride month. They never did any of this before pride, and they're probably only doing it to make themselves look good. (Talking about outing gay characters on my last sentence).
LOL I was one of the first P3 legions and I didnt know that either, people put way too much value on lore, I would guess half or m,ore of us dont even read it.

Well, imo I can only imagine they will have to make both gay and bi males and females, because if they make it a bisexual male, how does that make the females feel included? Lesbians will feel left out, and if they make it bisexual, actual homosexuals will not feel included - they will be forced to make both bisexual and gay males and females, and that leaves out trans, so thats minimum of 6 survivors who need to be labeled via their sexuality.
Personally, I dont care. The only males I play are Bill and Ash, I doubt theyll out either one as gay, however I DO play Kate, Laurie, and Feng as females and I would play them if they were lesbian. But again, that prefaces my entire point, if they confirm Kate a lesbian, where is the inclusiveness for gay men? So they will need to balance it out.

There's nothing more organic than a character who happens to be LGBT, because that's how it is IRL as well. The "label slapped on them" is exactly how it should be done, as opposed to making their orientation their main (or only) defining characteristic.
Having it be a main component of their backstory is basically the definition of "shoving it in our faces".
But you see, thats YOUR opinion, maybe someone else wants the survivor to be all about pride? You want the survivors sexuality to be back story, perhaps others disagree? Maybe they make him/her Bisexual., and homosexuals wont think thats enough?
Thats the problem with opinion, everyone thinks theirs weights more than the other. BUt thats not the case.

This. I love Claudette so much because she's like me. A nerdy Black chick who didn't fit in much but has a big heart. There's a lot of us out there and I will admit it does get to be a bit frustrating that the Black chick/guy is automatically the "sporty" one.
Representation may not seem like anything and stupid but it means a lot to people who are hardly represented or have only recently been represented in recent years or their representation is easily 50:1.
Stan Lee said it best and there's a reason completely masked super heroes and villains are so popular. It's because anyone can be them and so they mean more to you than someone you can just idolize but never be.
Meg is the sporty one hence her perks, Claudette is a bookworm never thought of her as "sporty" at all.

it is also as useless or meaningless as every other part of the Backstory/Lore.
have you considered they add it not because of whiners but because they actually gradually expand the lore in every aspect? I didn’t see that many people that were against the tome backstories though.
