I'll stop complaining when they are fixed.

This is early on but I want to know if you’re going to buy him, if not say why, maybe the devs will see the flaws.
Personally right now I probably won’t buy him because I think his perks are lack lustre and the 110% will slaughter him
No, no i wont be buying discount huntress

This actually hurts to say this, but I'm done. Completely.
I played this game relentlessly at one point because it helped me out of a dark spot in my life. It sounds dumb, I know, I'm sorry. I defended it when they did things, but after a few updates, posts, even their Behaviour it made hit my limit. This game went from being my all time favorite game that all my friends and I enjoyed, to.. something I can't even bare to play for five minutes. I'm sorry, but I can't deal with it any longer. I asked a question on their Q&A and it got deleted. That annoyed me. Someone made a post about a hacker, a moderator told him to not use this feed and closed the discussion. I get why. But that was just cruel. I highly doubt they did anything either. So, again. I think I'm done, I won't be surprised if this post gets deleted, closed, or moved.
Behaviour, I am going to miss the fun I had, but now it just... feels awful..
Im exactly the same i hate how DBD has become so disgusting to play the comunnity doesnt help either and the devs dont listen, goodbye DBD rest in peace

I love the animated charms, so I totally agree. And fun new skins are always welcome. I'm still holding out for Bunny Feng 🤞
Also, no need to be sorry, everyone gets busy. Well, except people who basically spend their entire lives on these forums. Glad I don't know anyone like that >.>
I need Bunny feng!!!! WAIT Bunny trapper!😂

Thanks for your response 😊 Did you take the survey as well?
Regarding the Rift, I agree that it was nice to have another objective to spice things up and feel like you were working towards something between games other than just levelling characters. What kind of interesting and cool stuff would you have wanted to see?
I believe i did take the survey, and i thought the rewards were great however id love to see some more unique cosmetics such as skins that have there own cool animation a onzie for a survivor could be a great skin, more animated charms would also be amazing! Thank you for the response and sorry for my late reply ive been rather busy 😊

I loved it, it gave me something to work for however i wish there was more interesting and cool stuff in it

Toolboxes, personally. But that's because I'd rather lose to people playing well or being efficient rather than bringing better items.
Then again, I wouldn't say the two need to be mutually exclusive. It doesn't have to be one or the other, it could be both if it needs to.
Agreed but i worry nerfing gen speed will make it worse for survivors but who knows

You guys definitely make it too apocalyptic. Ruin wasn't that great of a perk even before the nerf: you cannot rely on a hex perk. Just play whitout it and learn to apply pressure.

I like how every patch it just gets worst you guys keep balancing around survivors and their fun in the game and soon no killer are going to want to play the game until we get some buffs or thing even out like ######### you guys keep nerfing oh wait i mean "Changing/rework" haha killers no one is going to want to play anymore. for example i love doctor he is one of my fav killers and with this nerf man i just keep messing that up I mean "rework bs" he is going to be bottom of the bin probably f tier just wish you would change this trend that have been on dbd. also i can hear the survivor main typing right now telling me how i am wrong
Next patch: fixed an issue where killers could win

I'm sorry monto but no more slowing down the game "just a lil bit" I'm sorry but even with over 50 days played it's still hard to hit great skill checks with ruin, and considering all the nerds "op" survivor stuff has been getting this is a huge relief so at least we know the devs are trying to make the game feel less annoying for both sides.
Nice bait

This stat could have been a wake up call for the objective speed to be looked at or at least acknowledged and could have helped fix the game significantly. But instead it was nerfed or "made less frustrating for survivors", where are the survivor stats? Sprint burst, decisive, adrenaline, iron will,dead hard and unbreakable how often are those in game? Why are we not shown then and why is the game not changed to be less frustrating for killers?
Edit:this posted twice? I have no clue how, can one please be removed this was not intended, sorry.
Killers arent allowed to have fun

There's also Pop Goes The Weasel, Thanataphobia, Dying Light, and others to help you out. The new Ruin also helps slow things down by regressing generators, although you'll need to put in some effort to keep them off the generators. Whenever you hook a survivor, people have to make the choice between leaving the generator and having it regress or committing to the generator and risk getting pushed off (BBQ, for example)/the hooked survivor losing a hook state. I'd strongly suggest giving it a try, it's actually very good.
HOW WOULD IT SLOW DOWN GENS IF THEY CAN GET COMPLETED IN UNDER 40 SECONDS?

1. Learn what a paragraph is.
2. The game shouldn't be balanced around 1 perk.
3. First they came for borrowed time,
And I said nothing, for I do not run borrowed time.
Then they came for decisive strike,
And I said nothing, for I do not run decisive strike.
Then they came for balanced landing,
And I said nothing, for I do not run balanced landing.
Then they came for ruin,
And there was no one left to speak for ruin.
What? You know those perks for survivor are still meta right?

Tbh to all killer mains I am a survivor main that just recently started to try to use killer and I apologize for how devs treating killer mains in all serious, I hope it changes :/ getting ignored as a killer main is legit ruining the game, even from a survivor point of view. I started using killer because using survivor didn't really give me a challenge recently, and i see killers are just always going through an uphill battle. I do hope it changes to balance the game in a fair way for killers <3
*Hugs*

@Peanits said:
I would definitely say give it a try first. Having played around with it, it can be pretty nasty once you get some pressure. Combine it with Surveillance and you also get some outrageous tracking (since generators automatically regress). You'll always know which generators are being worked on.
You wont tho because those gens get done in 80 or less seconds, cant aplly preasure if the survivors power through the gens, i play at red ranks and my record for getting gen rushed is about 3 minutes,THREE MINS!!
-
@JawsIsTheNextKiller said:
Gens could repair slower the more gens are left? When none have been repaired, they repair slowly and when there is only one to go, they repair quickly?
Hmm maybe but that would promote 3 gening not that its a bad thing but sometimes ive got locked into a stalemate with survivors.

Look. Ruin got a buff in my opinion if anything so you should be happy and not saying it's bad before you even try it, because I already know that it's going to be op. Anyway if it bothers you that much then you're going to have to learn to apply pressure more because that's what it all comes down to
Nice bait

@Almo said:
We do play it. To varying degrees on the team, but me personally... I play a lot. The new Ruin is designed to be something that ramps up in power over time. If that totem isn't cleansed by the time there are 3 gens left, the Survivors will be in huge trouble. That's how Hex Perks work.
How many times do I see a Killer get moris off Devour Hope? Not often. But when it happens... oh boy there's some panic lookin' for that totem. :)
"Not often" isnt good enough they need to be viable perks not "hey when it rarely works its great!" Thats why people dont use devour often, if at all because it was pretty much a wasted perk slot when it gets cleansed early.

Fellow Killer Players, are you staying with the recent Hex: Ruin changes?
I feel like playing Killer is a chore these days, and the recent rank reset rework doesn't help the case that I am literally trapped in Red Ranks, and going full sweat in more than half of my games gets unfun and boring. Most games I try to meme around and have fun, but when I do generators just go fast and I can't really do much.
The Doctor changes also sound fun, but they really nerfed the Snap out of it mechanic really hard, and also made his detection more strict, as well as the pause after he shocks someone. I can't want to try these changes to see where Doctor is now.
So, are you guys going to adapt or move on to other better games? Maybe try to learn better strategies, or leave Dead by Daylight to die in the dust? Tell me your thoughts about this Mid-Chapter Update.
No, im leaving dbd for abit im done with these out of touch devs amd there silly way of handeling shizz

Unless you're using spirit, legion, or nurse, you can be a godlike killer and still get pallet looped for 3 gens on certain maps.That's where noed comes in, because if they've already used all of the pallets up, there is nothing that can save them. They will get salty, but screw em, they're abusing the mechanics of the game.

We have the face buttons basically unused too.
I hate that when struggling on hook you have to use your left hand on the right stick to look around while mashing the X button; seems like an easy QoL fix to use the left stick to look around while hanging on hook.
It really feels that none of the dev team play much on console to know what little things could make a massive difference to the experience.
Like all devs PC is the target market making them happy comes before console, now im not saying they dont care what i am saying is that the devs attention will always be on PC as thats where most of the player base and profitt is (correct me if im wrong about player base)

@JacksonWise said:
I have been playing Oni almost exclusively for about a week now, and despite how much I love his design his gameplay is frustrating.
The biggest complaint I have is that console players simply cannot flick Demon Strike after they dash like on PC. Even with sensitivity cranked all the way up, I can barely turn 30 degrees. It's extremely detrimental because all survivors have to do is stay at loops and they are completely safe. This really kills his potential because that is a huge part of his skill cap that simply can't exist on console due to controller limitations. Even without the dash, his one-shot lunge is very difficult to control while survivors have an easy time dodging it.
I've accepted killers that require precise aim will always be at a disadvantage on console (Nurse, Huntress), but it really kills me that Oni seems to be one of them. I love this killer but I feel like I simply can't get better with him due to the limitations console give him.
Fellow console players, I know I am not the only one with these complaints. Do you have similar frustrations? Those who play survivor, do you feel like Oni is easily counterable?
And most importantly, can we use Oni as the most recent example that console players are in need of more controller options? Are there any plans in the near future to give console players higher sensitivity, aim acceleration, or anything else that can give them an easier time in game?
Im on console (xbox) and i agree fully he should be given his flick, sadly i doubt the devs will
