Well,PTB Blight was outdated and a week behind on changes the devs already made to him.
Strange that they didnt put them in the PTB

Ghost face was buffed from ptb to live
Yeah he was but he was also buffed in the PTB but Blight wasnt

Not sure if he will get the buff at the release but if thing's don't work out well then I am sure he will get buffed in the future.
They shouldnt be puting him out onto live as he was in the PTB he's a brand new killer he shouldnt need to be buffed as soon as he's out
-
I really like this idea it could be amazing for them sneaking mindgames

I think that these Blight and Felix skins, and skins for the upcoming weeks always come with the patch during the release, so next Tuesday or Wednesday 😊. I don't remember seeing a character's outfits before official release
Thanks for letting me know

DC, lets rework it into a anti tunnle perk like it should be
-
Id love to see killer emotes, imagine a Micheal Myers head tilt
-
People hate him beacuse he counters what makes rurvivors strong which is alot of second chance perks and of course loops, if you play PH well you will dominate greedy loopers.

My proposed change is when he cancels there is a cool down of like 1-2 seconds so PH wre less inclined to try and cancel spam. That way if they put their sword in the ground they are more likely to use it removing the guessing game overall and making it more skillful to use.
Not only that it removes that nasty zoning that takes no skill.
Yes lets make it so its in the survivors control, this would kill him. Like i said He is an anti-loop killer if you find that boring then thats a personel issue not the games

Holding w does work if he doesnt have good aim or doesnt have range add ons. It's the only way to waste time and its flat out boring. And it doesnt work all the time with the obstacles in the way.
His JOTD is really easy to dodge if youre in the open, also how would you change him to make him more "fun" for survivors
-

You know how to beat his guarenteed loss scenario oh please tell. If hes behind you and you are running to a window you either A. Vault and get hit by the range or B. Her canceled on and m1'd. There is zero coutner to that and if you deny otherwise I'm inclined to believe you dont play against good PH.
Youre right this doesnt have a counter when looping him and thats the point HE'S AN ANTI LOOP KILLER, You simply arent meant to loop him like ordinary m1 killers. Instead you need to get ground on him by running the hell away for as long as you can.
-
He's fine as is, stop trying to nerf killers just beacuse you dont know how to play against them
-
I tried Auriccells but that did nothing :(

@Mooks said:
No clue, but I do agree his POV is odd..
maybe add this question to the Q&A if you want a definitive answer from the devs
Good idea :)
-
Between spirit and billy theres no question that spirit is far more powerful than angry chainsaw redneck. Billy isnt even i the top 3 anymore
-
Micheals would be a head tilt
-
She has everthing killers should have and more, she has mindgames, Map preasure, chase potential and most of all she's unpredictable she breaks the mold. Spirit doesnt play the survivors game she's what a killer should be which is the power role, All this makes spirit the most hated killer on DBD at this time.
-
I think its all to do with the next gen consoles why would they try to optimize for a console thats ages old? Its sad really i wish they would just give us something the on the matter not just some "We're looking into it" answer again that EVERY DEV TEAM DO
-
If you want to prove that killer is op dont start by saying youre a rank 20 killer who only plays survivor.

I play her with Predator because sounds are too inconsistent, it helps a lot to understand where they are going or if they are trying some cheeky mindgame.
Ooo gotcha! I may try using it
-
@Aneurysm said:
It might make it harder but not impossible. A decent spirit can still often find survivors with iron will with good prediction. Also if you become a spirit main and someone complains that all you need to play spirit is two working ears you'll have a very satisfying comeback.
Thank you, that advice means alot

Spirit can very rewarding if you’re able to listen out for certain sounds like the grass moving and footsteps when survivors run. You could maybe try running Stridor to make survivors louder when injured and when breathing :).
Oooh strider! Yes of course! Thank you so much idk why i didnt think of that! 1000 hours and i forgot about stridor lmao

Now I see killer mains who say survivor is easy and yet can't themselves. If you can't handle a chase as survivor but make bold claims your argument is invalid.
Agreed, survivor is easier but thats in contrast to killer which is pretty hard

Someone I know had an idea for a survivor perk called Houdini, it has 3 tokens and can only be used 3 times a match but if the survivor were to hop into a locker for 3 seconds they would teleport to the locker closest to the last gen they interacted with
God that would suck for killers lol

I love playing as Demogorgon! He's really the only killer thats just straight up a monster. Unless the add Pumpkinhead, Imma use him a lot. But you're not wrong that, as a survivor, I don't really see him much. However I have not once played a match against the Deathslinger, I've never seen him.
Deathslinger suffers from as similar problem, mainly he isnt viable at red ranks which in my opinion every killer should be

I'm afraid if devs touch demo more than just making rat liver basekit, this going to be a disaster. I would love addon pass + rat liver basekit + QoL changes though
Im sure they wont mess him up, i hope

Gen speeds have always been fast, too fast imo i cant wait for a change that will most likely never come
-
Gens are already to fast they dont need to be quicker. Killers get punished enough for camping anyway
-

Sadly this game is balanced around solo que this is how its been for along time and by the looks of it will continue to remain this way.

This killer was my favorite (with the Nurse), but until I met the red ranks...
His portals are useless, they are quickly destroyed against a team, that pushes Gorgon to make new ones every 5 minutes... who wants to play with that ? The trap limit being the most annoying, the time the survivors take to destroy them is awful, and the fact that I have to open my mouth to see who is in my portals... it's ULTRA annoying !
Its secondary attack is slow to charge, but quite useful against loops.
In short, one more regret to my collection of regrets from the game!😀
I get your frustration buying a killer only to have them be underwhelming is extremely annoying i think adding killer instinct to his portals that ativates without the need to charge of the abyss would be amazing as i think that would give him alot more preasure, add that along with making his portals harder to destroy and an addon rework it would be amazing for him.
I think its extremely important that a killer as iconic and as cool as demogorgon is given the attention he truly deserves.
-
@Golden_spider said:
The big two things Demodoggo needs is imo:
1) Tone down his sounds. If I'm not within say 24m of the portals he's entering/exiting then I don't need to hear his warning because I'm nowhere nearby.
Don't need him to announce to everyone "Hey I hit someone!" every. single. time.
Oh and can't forget that his footsteps are absurdly loud. (iirc 16 meters?)
2) Rat Liver is base, adjust the add on to compensate.
I agree he is far too loud when hits a survivor and when he travles to other portals as it negates the whole stealth aspect of him when he emurges from the portal, also his portals are far to easy to destory

Don’t let this thread die. I love The Demogorgon, wished they payed more attention to him like they did to Pyramid head. When Demogorgon was announced, I thought we would go to the upside down, kinda like old Freddy. It’s been almost a year since he’s been out and I do agree, he is by far the funnest killer to go against, great chase music and his presence is just everything. He is also the rarest killer to go against, he needs some love. You got my Vote up!!
I hope they give him the love he needs i love demoboi and i want to play against him more

@wisdomwielder said:
Been playing him a lot in red ranks trying to find some decent builds, but it's entirely dependent on your playstyle of Triangle Man.
Even though his power doesn't have too much synergy with the pop/bbq combo, I still use it because the combo is just too powerful, and you're still gonna be hooking quite a lot of people in the trial.
Complete build is Pop,Bbq, Corrupt, and I'm All Ears (required if you ask me).
I only cage people under these circumstances: Decisive Strike. If I have a person I can immediately start chasing. If I am aware of the other survivors location. If I don't need Pop or Bbq. If I want to create artificial map pressure by splitting the team. Overall I try to cage on second hook.
You will still get a lot of use out of Pop and Bbq and can even use Bbq to see caged survivors if you're quick at downing, which you should be as PH.
Perfect! Ill make sure too put this info to good use!

@TWiXT said:
Not a build, as I'm sure you'll get plenty of those, but a Perk that is surprisingly effective on Pyramid Head:
Franklin's Demise
Knocking Items out of survivors hands has its uses, but on certain killers, you gain more advantages. Hag and Trappers are obvious: Traps need Bait, but For PH, it's all about getting more usage from his power than is normally possible.
Lets face it, PH's Rites of Judgement Trails are garbage. Not only are they easy to see and hear, but survivors can completely ignore getting tormented just by crouching over them. I've had a plethora of matches where, no matter where I put those damn trails, Nobody gets tormented; Hell, Survivors will even crouch-walk over a trail, MID-FREAKING-CHASE, to avoid getting tormented! Luckily this is where FD shines best. When survivors retrieve items off of the ground, they are forced to stand up during the pick up animation, and coincidentally this actually counts against them when it come to Rites of Judgement trails.
You want survivors to get tormented consistently? Bring in FD, Knock items out of their hands and Draw a Trail over them. If you also use the Mannequin's Foot add-on, that extends the time your trails last in the environment to 95 seconds, and with FD making items only last 90 before they're destroyed... Survivors have no choice but to get tormented if they don't want to lose their item.
Even More fun with PH and his hatred of items: If you knock down a tormented survivor with his Punishment of the Damned attack, send them to a cage, and they Die in that cage with their item in hand... No other survivor will ever retrieve that item. When survivors die on the hook, the item they were carrying falls at their feet; same goes for the cages, except the cages themselves sit on top of the items and block anyone from reaching them.
All in all, FD is just a wonderful perk on PH (you have no idea how many keys I've destroyed using FD on him), so if you're having problems getting survivors tormented, or issues with survivors bringing in too many baneful items, you absolutely can't go wrong with Franklin's Demise and this strategy of how to use it.
Just in-case anyone had any doubts about whether or not FD works as I've explained on PH:
https://youtu.be/ztrHLO0juEg?t=2
Note: My own Audio wasn't recorded for some reason I can't at the moment figure out why, but I instructed my Friend to crouch walk to the item, and pick it up while holding crouch in order to prove FD's usefulness on PH. What you hear from him is responses to our conversation when testing the effectiveness of FD on Pyramid Head, and his insight on the Rites of Judgement Trails. His last comment is about how he never sees PH players using FD.
I never thought of that before! Thanks ill put this to use

Demo is overall my least encountered killer now. Was nurse before the cross-play update because nobody plays her on console, but I see her more often than any other killer now with cross-play on due to how extremely common she is on PC. There is a reason why Demo is least played, he is smply bottom tier right now alongside clown and trapper. On paper he should be good, as he seems to have all 3 things that a good killer needs to win, chase ending potential, map pressure, and stealth, but in practice only one of those 3 things actually works well. His map pressure potential is largely negated by how quickly his portals can be sealed, and his stealth potential is largely negated by his huge 16 meter footstep sound radius, which allows survivors to hear him even when he has undetectable after a teleport.
I 100% agree he needs some love from the devs

I play PH a lot(not claiming I am pro or anything like that), the most fun and possibly legit build I do with him is mostly knowing where the survivor is. In a way you know where people are and if your decent you can land those POTD (Punishment Of The Damned).
- Nurse's Calling
- I'm All Ears
- Barbecue & Chili
- Infectious Fright (You can also switch for Rancor or Iron Maiden)
This build is more fun rather than competitive so its really all up to the player. Good luck with your matches and see you in the fog.
See you in the fog fellow dweller

Everytime I verse a Demogorgon I end up offering myself as a free kill if we manage to open the gate and basically "win" because I feel bad for Demo players.
Last time I got chased to the gate the P3 Demogorgon seriously looked at the ground, turned around, walked away and started hitting a wall.
It looked so heartbreaking because of the cute flower shaped head.
Me and even another random survivor walked up to him and allowed him to kill us both. It was a wholesome moment.
*wipes tears* its enough to make a grown man cry

@Tricks said:
- STBFL (Even though it doesn't build tokens when using his ranged attack Its a good perk for all killers)
- Nurses Calling (because using POTD on a mending blendette is priceless)
- Discordance (because Surveillance is getting nerfed)
- Whispers (another fantastic perk any killer who wants to locate Survivors and not waste time in sections that have no Survivors in them. As PH has poor map pressure it works well with him - especially the last Survivor once hatch is closed just stay near the exit gate you hear Whispers at and as long as they don't have a key its a 4k)
Ahh great! Thats very helpful!

I'm not good with them but if I could master them I think Oni, Plague, Demogorgon and Spirit would be considered fun for me to play as. But I get that you say some killers are boring/unfun.
Yeah i agree i guess its down to opinion on what is fun, but hey! Thats what makes so many killers fun!

Nurse's is almost mandatory.. being able to get hits through walls is something no other killer can do
I'm All Ears - same reason for Nurse's, helps end jungle gyms quicker if you can tell which way they're running while they can't see you
Pop because it's pop
Tinkerer or Trail of Torment.. stealth is good with him because, again, he can attack through walls
Amazing from what i can tell stealth works well with this killer

Sloppy, Nurses, Ruin and either Deathbound or M&A.
He is a killer that, unlike hit-and-run stealth killers, you cannot be injured around. Making it as difficult as possible to heal can absolutely destroy even a coordinated team, and Ruin is just a good perk for him when it actually stays up for a bit.
Ooo ill give it a try when i get sloppy! Thank you!

Hey no worries!
I'm considering experimenting with Ruin/Undying (especially because I find myself getting less and less value from Pop and more and more from Ruin the more I play him) but for a consistent build I can't recommend ruin until we get something for totems (like Undying). I'll get back to you after like a week if I remember to, and I'll tell you if I think it's worth and what perk I'd take out for Undying.
Youre a diamond! Thanks!

Ok I just played as him but got stuck near that damn rock lmao.. But he feels fun if you are good with him (which I'm not)
Exactly, the fact that he's fun to play is imo extremely important as in DBD right now there isnt alot of those killers.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
Copy-pasted from another thread but haha here we go.
Perks:
I'm All Ears
Infectious Fright
BBQ
Pop Goes The Weasel
Add-ons:
Valteil-Sect Photograph, Tablet of the Oppressor
Explanation
I'm All Ears provides invaluable wallhacks, which should never be underestimated on a killer who can hit through walls. BBQ is still one of the best perks in the game plus double bloodpoints, and Pop is the typical gen regression perk that's almost a requirement right now. Infectious is very helpful in knowing if you should cage or not, and provides some very solid information for decision making, which as PH can make or break the game. The add-ons increase the time you can use your power, and increase the recharge time of said power. Alternate add-ons you can use are Spearhead and Forgotten Videotape, basically the weaker versions of those add-ons.
If you wanna have some fun, go for double range add-ons (Burning Man Paining and Wax Doll), just be warned that using your ranged attack too frequently and missing can and will throw the game.
Also, as another tip: Only break god pallets. Your best bet of hitting Punishment of the Damned is when someone is stuck in an animation, vaulting windows/pallets or dropping them. Force people into a damned if you do damned if you don't scenario, since you can cancel your power almost instantly and get the hit, or get an easy m2. You can even deal with shack pallet being dropped like this, but it's still reccommended you break it.
This has been your friendly neighbourhood Pyramid Head Main, have a great day.
This is perfect thank you so much!

I've been trying him a bit recently but have only played against him twice in recent memory.
Its sad he's fun to play against and with but he really struggles at the higher ranks
