I bet if they did implement it, people would find something to complain about.
I'd be happy, other people want to complain that's up to them xD

Honestly the most broken perk this chapter is distortion. Every wesker I've gone against seems to have more than one aura reading perk and it's saved my life so many times.
Had one with lethal,BBQ, I'm all ears and nurses and I could not charge it fast enough

Dowsey played wraith, he didn't have a better result. It doesn't matter who plays, wraith just can't win. his gameplay is just too slow and ineffective. If otz played wraith, the outcome would also be the same. its why 50 kill streaks is very misleading information.
I understand what you are saying but dowsey and otz are not top tier comp killers. Put someone like Hunter from EMA in there and the results would be much better.
I'm not disagreeing with the fact wraith is a much weaker killer than nurse/spirit, anyone who does is stupid but if you go against high level comp players in any game and you don't play at a comp level yourself you are usually going to lose no matter what.

I think this represents how powerful it is to face a team of 4 survivors. And as only spirits AND nurses They are the only killers that can stand up to swf Because the other killers don't have enough skill
The problem here is oracle are a top tier competetive team. They are not the best in the world but they are extremely good. Tru3ta1ent is good in pubs but not in comp, his build and the way he played showed that.
Put a top tier comp wraith against them and there will be more hooks

Me and some friends as well, we are on ps4

It isn't required to survive but it definitely helps, especially when playing solo.
The only change I want with DS is if you start fixing a gen/breaking a totem/healed it deactivates and it will stop it being abused. It just helps with the people who really want to tunnel you out of the game.

So, there's kicking a person who suffers from disabilities then...?
We have been hitting Hillbilly with pallets for a good 4 years without that being an issue
-
Turn it off and wait times will be be ridiculous for you. There are not many killers that wouldn't turn it off and the majority of the survivors are playing in groups.
Good way to kill the game though.
-
I've honestly never had this type of issue before. It's a lot worse when I'm playing against or as a spirit as well. Her phase walk just seems to make the frames plummit.

Sprint Burst, Spine Chill, Resilience and Self-Care.
Sprint Burst: Not Reliable for long chases, or extending chases as an Exhaust perk. A good killer will mind game you guessing where you are going, or simply chase you till your boost runs out. Looping as normal, but now you are at disadvantage exhausted with no perk to extend the chase. Good to get to a safe are if your new to the game, but not good in higher level play.
Spine Chill: Useful for new players to get used to other aspects of the game without having to worry to keep an out for the killer. Relying on it solely however will become a crutch for you, and without it you will get a better sense of being aware of your surroundings, and learn to track the direction of the Killer.
Resilience; Good players take a long time to even get injured. This perk is useless when you are skilled enough at the game without No Mither.
Self-Care; Self healing takes too long, it's faster with a med-kit and someone to heal you. Since in high level play you are mostly matched in 2's and are aware of the positioning of your team, having someone heal during safe downtime becomes simple. Good suggestions; just before completing a gen, when the killer is in a long chase, and under a pallet.
Now that I have effectly tore down your gross looking build;
Solo Survivor w/ Emergency Med-Kit (Abdominal Dressing, Self Adherent Wrap)
Borrowed Time, Dead Hard, Decisive Strike, Iron Will
This is probalby the greatest survivor build you can run. When you are skilled at survivor you are already very good at being aware of your surroundings, and the layout of all the maps. Using this build I use what I call the 3 CHRS method (3 CHRS: Cleanse 3, Heal 3, Repair 3, Save 3). Ensuring you meet at least the objectives of the 3 CHRS method you almost guarenteed iri's in all emblem catagories if you escape, and at least gold even if you die, at the same time maximum bloodpoints. Before you say "you get more bloodpoints from WGLF" WGLF isn't reliable enough to try and farm bloodpoints off of, so optimizing the emblem system has so far worked much better.
Now a breakdown of the perks, and item;
Borrowed Time guarentee's safe saves (unless the Killer doesn't have a terror radius). You can combo Borrowed Time with Dead Hard to counter camping, by going into make the safe, take a hit, unhook the hooked survivor, then immediatly dead hard through the saved survivor forcing them to take the protection hit. Then you both run away and the person who doesn't get chased get's on a gen or heals.
Dead Hard is just the best exhaust perk in the game. Extends chases, can be used to dodge attacks, and I even sometimes use to to get places faster, like that last second into a survivors second hook phase timer. Unlike the other exhaust perks that have special conditions, this exhaust perk can be used at the push of a button, and is much more reliable.
Decisive Strike is a second chance perk that everyone knows not to leave home without. Get off hook by someone with borrowed time, run a bit, take hit for speed and activates BT's protection, then if you still havn't gotten somewhere safe, get downed and DS them (if the Killer doesn't just wait out the timer). Guarentee's escaping during EGC, and immunity when doing gens. Don't forget locker cheese.
Iron Will is amazing for hiding in plain sight. You escape so many chases by simply walking away, because in most maps the blood stains on the ground are incredibly difficult to see, and you're not making any noise anyways. You can even hide in lockers without groaning constantly which is another plus. It's like just being uninjured, expect blood is pouring out of you.
Emergency Med-Kit has an excellent self-healing speed, and good amount of charges. Using it with Abdominal Dressing, and Self Adherent Wrap makes it excellent at both. Better than Rangers Med Kit, because Emergency Med Kit gives a self healing buff, and same reason compared to other med kits. You will get 3-4 good heals out of this, and I reccomend only using it for self healing as healing others is fast enough without an item or perks. If you are against Thanatophobia, then you can use it on others. Same with Sloppy Butcher, but remember that if your Med-Kit runs out, you can no longer heal yourself.
This is my go to build. I sometimes swap BT for kindred when I'm playing solo though.

Coughs coughs you need to be able to hit a iri head cough cough
But this you don't need to hit to activate it it should be purple grade like scratch and vanity mirror Myers
True but that doesn't mean they are not broken.
That's fair enough but I'd honestly say it's his best add on still. I'm not saying it needs nerfing, just the rarity increasing.
-
It's not iridescent heads style busted but it is definitely strong enough to be iridescent
-
I see just as many potato PC players as I do console. This whole mindset of PC players being elite is stupid, having more powerful hardware doesn't make you a good player.
-
All I want to see is the killers ping. I'm sick of getting matched with people who have bad internet.

You don't have to type using your controller, just use the app
-
Removing SWF is a stupid idea. Whilst it does give an extra advantage it takes 4 competent survivors to take full advantage. Most teams you come across are just casual players and 4 good solos are more of a threat.
-
If I'm having a bad day I will stand there and watch them hit second phase before I unhook xD
It doesn't bother me that I miss points, it's when I have to cross half the map and they try it
-
Killers that tunnel at red ranks are not uncommon, it can be an efficient strategy at the right times.
Everytime I take DS off there seems to be double the amount as well

"we don't like something so let's ruin other people's experience"
Still buying it though, I prefer it to the Cheryl model

@Falkner09 said:
She IS Cheryl. Heather was an alias that Harry gave her to hide her. At the end of SH3, she remembers everything, and explicitly says she's going to go back to the first name he had given her: Cheryl. When asked if she's going to dye her hair back to black, she says, "I dont know. Don't you think Blondes have more fun?" fade to end credits.
She isn't the original Cheryl though. When Alessa give her to him he thought about calling her Cheryl but chose not to because he didn't want to replace her in this way. She is a reincarnation of her but not the original. It's true that she goes to calling herself this and that is fair enough and fits in with the lore.

Harry changed her name only because to procect her from the cult. He didn't changed it because he was bored of the Cheryl's name.
I didn't mean he was bored of the name, I meant in the ending of the first game Cheryl and Alessa join together and are reborn as a newborn baby, which is heather/Cheryl in the third game. I always thought that he jus give the new baby the name Heather so they couldn't find her, which would mean her original name is Heather. I know she is a reincarnation but her name would still be Heather for all her life so far
-
@brokedownpalace said:
Heather is the fake name. She's not hiding her identity by calling herself Cheryl, she's using her real name.
She isn't technically the original Cheryl though, I'm sure Harry gives her the name Heather when she is reborn at the end of one but I might be wrong
-
Her name was actually changed to Heather but I do understand what you mean, someone said up above that she had it legally changed back to Cheryl so it does still make sense.
Technically she is a reincarnation of Cheryl and Alessa but I think that still makes her the same person

I think it's been done like this to celebrate the first three games of the SH franchise: The map is from the first gamr; Pyramid Head from the 2nd; & Cheryl/Heather from the third.
Would have been great if James came, but maybe he could be a legendary skin for someone? Cheryl is certainly very welcome, nevertheless.
Honestly the map is the best part of this chapter. It really feels like the school from the original. The art team outdid themselves.

But honestly... I don't really care.๐คทโโ๏ธ
Only watched lore videos of silent hill and didn't play them myself.
I would highly recommend number 2 and 3 if you enjoy survival horrors. They are incredibly fun and the story is really interesting. Number 4 is good but they added a lot of stupid mechanics.

@Orion this is probably true and I'm reading in to it to much ๐ค
@Nun@Nun_So_Vile it's the more known name for her with fans so it could be copyright issues. I believe there was a legendary alessa cosmetic leaked so we may be able to play as her yet!

Yeah now that I think about it when players bring more than 1 Bloody Party Streamer the killer is more determined to sweat lol
Not shade to killers, just something I experience
I've seen this a lot as well but people don't have to farm if there are BPS. I just play normally unless I'm in a group and I get a killer that's on my friends list, it's the best way to get the most out of them

What's really funny is I shot this idea to tru3 too, and he said it would be a great idea but they would never implement something like that. So BHVR let's prove him wrong, what do you say?
I was more referencing the meme that he calls every group SWF lol
I do think it would be interesting to see how it many teams I go up against, wouldn't make any real difference though
-
This wouldn't really do any harm so why not. Tru3ta1ent might have a meltdown though.
-
The 1st movie is off limits with the lawsuit so it's pretty much impossible.
-
It's just personal preference. I'd actually prefer something other to pennywise as I've never been a fan of IT.
-
Honestly there is no other reason for it than so people can dodge the players they don't like going up against.
I don't mind it because most of the players who hold grudges are normally doing this because they got beat. It's nice to have a challenge.
-
Bad players in general create bad habits. If you keep pulling through the low ranks you are going to get used to running the killer around a simple loop or survivors going down straight away and not learning how to counter loops etc.
Its why people complain about stupid things being OP when in reality they have just faced someone who is better than average.
-
I'd turn it off straight away and if the wasn't an option I'd just go into a party (on ps4) to avoid it. I hate voice chat in any game

Both scenarios should reward the players with a double-pip. If players want to drag the game out then it is more bloodpoints for all but it would be nice for players who are clearly outclassing their opponent to quickly rank up.
The good thing about how it is now is it discourages people from rushing everything. Could you imagine if you could double pip off gen rush? Or double pip with an ebony mori? The game would actually become unbearable
-
For the same reason rushing the gens and leaving straight away doesn't really reward survivors. People want the games to last longer for both sides.
-
The guy in the xbox group? He is just trolling for attention ๐
-
Face camping is when the killer is in your face and doesn't leave. It used to be a death sentence as it prevented the survivor from unhooking but you can get the save still now.
-
With the right add ons a good killer can make Billy devastating. It leaves no room for error and even the best survivors can be caught out or slip up.
The insta saw is the only add ons that feel slightly unfair would be the insta saw but you can dodge it if you are lucky
-
I actually prefer it to DBD but I'm a huge resident evil fan so it does make me slightly biased.
Playing mastermind is pretty fun and I can't wait till the full release so I can try others. I think it will be pretty successful if they do regular updates but it isn't going to do any damage to this.

Yeah, I already have it downloaded ๐
I am just hoping and praying they somehow add nemesis as a card to it, I'm happy with Mr X and Birkin though
-
Resident evil 3 remake I can't wait for, probably going to play a lot of resistance as well!
-
Why does it always have to be a certain side that's toxic? It's not killers or survivors, its just a large group of people that are in it to ruin the fun for others.
You get people like this in any online game, it just feels worse in this because the game is so stressful to begin with.
-
@Carpemortum said:
Honestly, I just wish survivors would stop being so hard pressed to heal me when I'm very obviously doing work or not interested in heals.
I've stopped, shook no, pointed away, and gone back to work to have someone watch me fi ish the entire gen trying to heal me.
Even if I'm not running resilience, how can you not understand that I'm not going to stop what I'm doing to let you heal me, now you're wasting your time.
This is so true. I've had people follow me for the whole game and watch me do gens constantly stopping me when the killer is nearby trying to heal.
I appreciate the thought but some people will not take a hint!
@MigrantTheGreat not necessarily, if I need to stop and stay still the person can just go for it. Some people don't understand that nurses calling is a thing either.
-
I actually liked this. It helped avoid some of the more negative players on ps4 and sometimes survivors would message asking about challenges.
I imagine people have had negative experiences with it but overall it wasn't bad.

they are already killing it by making the game miserable for killers
People still played killer in 2016 and that was actually miserable. Its improved so much now and they are still working on it. I'm sure it will be fine.
