You call Victor a baby and kicking Victor to death is part of gameplay when going against the Twins.
See the problem?

Demo. If more people learned him and knew his potential, he would be incredibly oppressive and popular.

His addons suck gorilla balls. That is all. No Addons is better than any addons.

This is a concept from a Mothman killer, which I will upload separately.
Perk 1: Dread Sense
A deep bond with the entity unlocks extreme precision in your aura-reading ability.
Aura-reading ranges are increased by 4/6/8 meters.
"The beast... it watches from afar, with evil intent." -Vigo
Perk 2: Chilling Foresight
Your ability to predict tragedy helps greatly in the entity's realm.
While affected by the Undetectable status effect, any generators above 50% are highlighted White. Gain 25%/50%/75% more Bloodpoints in the Deviousness Category.
"It seems to predict us, always ones step ahead." -Vigo
Perk 3: Hex: Interference
You leave a trail of discord and distrust in your travels.
When a survivor is hit with a basic attack, up to a number of 2 survivors, the survivor will be graced with a stroke of bad luck. Whenever a survivor interacts with a generator while affected by Hex: Interference, the generator will explode and cause the generator to lose 15% progress. Gain 25/50/70% more Bloodpoints in the Destruction category.
"Those who feel it's touch are left with a reminder of it's presence." -Vigo

The same as every other killer: Macmillan and autohaven are generally good, everything else is questionable.
Here's the thing: I've found that Storehouse and Ironworks in particular have some very annoying geometry in the form of boxes and wire that end up blocking his massive frame, as well as shreds.

Like many players have said hillbilly is not fun to play and a shadow of his former self. It’s unfair towards all hillbilly players because according to the devs he was the most balanced killer, but they nerfed him to the ground and made him unplayable due to his power limitations/bugged animations/useless addons. Otz explains everything in this video,he is a high skill low reward killer and his addons are inexistant. Devs should fix their biggest mistake and rework his addons and buff him.
In terms of addons? C-Tier, maybe D-Tier.
Basekit? Definitely B-A Tier.

Because it's one of half a million second chances that survivors get so they can't be punished for mistakes.
-
I forgot to mention: I meant using them in the sense of one for escaping a chase early on, and the other to make distance, hence why they'd be in the same slot.

I'm tired of this matchmaking or MMR or what in the hell it is.
I played 3 games yesterday, I'm rank 8, and guess how many purple ranks I faced during those games? Zero. The first game was against red ranks who destroyed me, the second game was against ranks 16-17 where I destroyed them, and the third game was against red ranks with one rank 13.
The funniest (no) thing about it is that red rank killers are also facing purple rank survivors. Looks like a pretty simple equation to me to pair players properly
Hey, that's EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO ME! Isn't it like there's a ranking system because you're supposed to be with people your rank?

What rank are you?
Rank 8, 3 Pips. Been stuck there for a while due to some... interesting matchmaking.

Huh. Well I guess it's just bad matchmaking then.

As Survivor, I played 8 games yesterday and did not get a single Red Ranked Killer.
As Killer, I did not encounter a single Survivor outside of Red Ranks.
That's just my experience, for reference, I play on Xbox without Crossplay.
I play Xbox WITH Crossplay and have the exact same issue.
-
Because going 5 minutes without finding anyone and hearing gens pop every 45 seconds isn't exactly a fun experience, especially when you depip because of it.
-
I agree. I love that you have two options: Tunnel and hit the BT, or don't Tunnel and hit the BT because they're bodyblocking. This is EXTRA ANNOYING when gates are open.

Deathslinger, just Deathslinger.

The amount of Second Chances that Survivors get is insane. BT, Unbreakable + DS Combo, Adrenaline, Flashlight Saves, PALLET Saves, Dead Hard, Keys, Syringes, all of that BS. BT in particular. It's supposed to be an anti-tunneling thing, but even then it punishes for NOT tunneling, in the form of wedging yourself inbetween your unhooker. The only second chance killers get is NOED. And that's probably the most complained about thing in the game. The Devs clearly have a massive imbalance in power between the two, given that I've lost whole games due to some of these.
Oh, but I might like to add I DO play survivor, and I never DC against anything or see anything as OP. Killers, to me, like Spirit, Doctor, Bubba, Freddy (Actually Forget Freddy He's Kinds OP), Legion, Clown, I don't enjoy going against them, but are they OP? No, not really. Some are oppressive but not flat-out broken.

That crawling when undetectable would be ######### AMAZING. It would also help explain why he stomps thumping so loud.
I think they should also remove the sound of him going through portals unless you are close to where he is entering one, and not hear him leaving one at all unless you are like almost right on it.
Then, make his rat's liver basekit but make the rat liver addon either removed or a very rare addon with some limitation on it so they are not just using it for like 9% perma move speed buff lol.
Then make his purple, other greens besides deer lung, and his iri add ons actually useful, preferably by making it so you are genuinely silent and hard to hear or detect when he is supposed to be, and making it so the portals are a bigger threat by vastly buffing the radius addons and such, like make them take up like that 25% of the map they are on.
I would also tweak his shred to actually hit people when you lunge from elevations.
I think something akin to Pig's crouch would be awesome for Demo. Stop footsteps, gain undetectable, add an element of surprise.
-
My current best build concept is this:
BBQ (So I don't spend ages just searching for people.)
Third Seal (So I can disrupt SWF's and stop them coordinating, especially in indoor maps.)
Discordance (Gen Patrol.)
Undying (To complement Third Seal and make them as uncoordinated as possible for as long as possible.)
Then Olsen's Address Book + Chewed Pen.

No, Surge doesn't count as a Kick. So anything that requires a Kick (Oppression, Pop, Overcharge, Dragons Grip, Trail of Torment) won't be spread to nearby gens that are hit by Surge.
Wait, another question, does Dragon's Grip's effect carry onto other gens with surveillance?
-
@Seraphor said:
Surge is good with Ruin, as it triggers additional regression without needing to kick the gen, and even when Ruin is cleansed, you don't really need to kick gens.
Oppression would be good with Pop, Dragon's Grip and/or Overcharge.
Oppression with Surge would be overkill. Surge already triggers an immediate 8% regression, having survivors also suffer that hard skill check as well would be nuts.
Wait, Surge counts as a Damage Gen action? Correct me if I'm wring but can't Overcharge only trigger on gens you've kicked?
-
People who play Demo are buff chads with big pp and he is s tier!!!
In all seriousness, he's really fun IMO, his addons are garbo, but as a killer he's a B-A tier at most. Maybe a few QOL life changes could almost entirely fix his issues, i.e: his loud ass stomping.
-
I'm a Rank 12 Demo main. Most of the games I played were against 4 man SWF's composed of Purple and Red Rank, and playing survivor, I witnessed more clueless Rank 20 Baby Killers then I had ever seen before. The MMR made it a stomping ground for High-Ranks, and torture for Brown, Yellow and Green Ranks. It was awful. Never DC'ed more.

I actually made a concept for 096 as a killer, minus addons. Here:
Name: The Sorrow
Power: Blind Rage
The Sorrow has 2 states: Crying and Enraged. While in the Crying state, he has no terror radius, but is replaced with a sobbing noise that has an omnidirectional 10 meter range, nor does he have a red stain. He moves at 105% movement speed while in this state, and cannot attack, but can break Generators and Pallets, as well as vault. When eye contact is sustained at a range of 15 meters for at least 0.5 seconds, he will enter the Enraged state. He becomes stationary for 10 seconds, and begins to scream. When outside of the enraged state, he will begin to move at 210% movement speed, a small bit slower than the Hillbilly's base chainsaw sprint, and his terror radius will increase to 50m, accompanied by a loud, sustained scream. This is not omnidirectional. All survivors who look at his face while he is enraged will be highlighted with killer instinct, as does the person who originally enraged him, but if they do not, they will be rendered invisible to 096. He has one ability during the enraged state, a lunge akin to Demogorgon's shred, which will instantly down any survivor hit by it, and can break pallets. If he hits a pallet, he roars, and stands still for 2 seconds. If missed, he will scream in pain, and has a base missed attack cooldown of 5 seconds. If he has no other survivors who have seen his face, the rage will end, but if not, he will scream, and continue. The ability has a base duration of 30 seconds, and will render the ability disabled for 45 seconds if it ends, and he will be put into the Recovery state if this occurs. Any downs during the Enraged state will extend the duration of the ability for 10 seconds. Now for his perks:
Perk 1:
Undying Rage
Your hatred for those who chained you consumes you.
Undying rage will speed up vaults during a chase by 10/15/20%, and increases break action speed by 0/5/10%. While out of chase, vaults will slow down by 5%, and break action speed will also slow by 15%.
"At this point, no known material or method can impede SCP-096's progress." -SCP-096 Object File
Perk 2:
Selective Focus
When you have the opportunity for vengeance, you take it, and steel yourself.
When in a chase with the obsession, the red stain is hidden, and when in a chase with a non-obsession, the red stain increases in range by 4m.
"It didn't even F***ing flinch. It kept tearing apart my squad, but with half of its torso gone." -Audio Log 096-1
Perk 3:
Survivor Syndrome
Your presence affects those around you, and your acts will stay with those who witness them.
For 35 seconds, those within 15/20/25 meters of a survivor who is downed will experience exhaustion for the duration of the ability, and will scream and reveal their position at the end of the ability's duration.
"You know, after hearing that thing's screams, and the screams of my men, I don't think I want to put a face to what I heard. No. Just… no." -Audio Log 096-1

He's a solid B tier imo. I honestly don't understand how people put him sometimes together with killers like Legion or Pig at the bottom of the tier list.
His portals are not incredible but they do have some uses. You can put some of them on generators to patrol them with Killer's Instinct and they are a decent form of stalling if survivors decide to cleanse them, which I'm not bothered the slighest because with Killer Instinct I can go there and immediately deny gen progress. Unfortunately you'll need either Deer Lung or Rat Tail to make them not feel so slugish.
His shred is also quite good. If you have Rat Liver it turns Demo into a powerful zoning killer. I like to constantly quickly tap M2 during the chase so the survivor either dodges all the time and loses distance (like with Deathslinger spamming ADS) or he chooses to ignore it but then I can Shred him everytime I want. It also completely denies corridor or window loops.
I use active portals to patrol my totems, very useful surveillance tool. If you wanna clear Ruin / Devour, entirely expose yourself to attack.

Demo, unfortunately, is "alright". Like how Myers is "alright". Yes, they aren't bad, but they simply can't compete at higher levels. In terms of red ranks and compared to most other killers, yes, Demo is underpowered. Demo is a jack of all trades but master of none. Freddy is a jack of all trades but master of most.
Not to say you can't do well with Demo - if you learn to master his Shred, run rat liver every game, and play to the best of your ability you'll (probably) do well. However, this is kind of the Pig fallacy - yes, experienced killers can do well with them if played perfectly; but they could do that with any other killer, more easily too since those killers have better powers. It's not that the killer is particularly good, it's that they themselves are very good and their skill as an M1 killer is transferrable.
Oh yeah, his addons are... interesting. At least his pink addons aren't awful.
