yeah i am responding to you because it changes the perk theme. NOED is suppose to be end game and I responding to OP post for the rest of the post that his perk gives bad rewards in end game.
I do like your perk idea, I think it should be new scourage hook perk.
Yeah i agree it changes the theme. Still kinda thematic imo with the haste and no one escapes themes but it would be different from how it is now for sure.

it changes theme of the perk.
the theme of NOED is that its suppose to be comeback perk for killer.
I.e your suppose get rewarded(empowered) as the killer for losing the objective.
since killers will inevitably lose all 5 generators in some games, the perk in practice can activate every game. It can also not activate, but if it does not activate, it just means your so outstanding as killer that you won the game with 3 perks.
you can argue that rewards for killing losing give too much reward, however keep in mind that that there are other perks that reward the killer for losing all 5 generators(e.g coup the grace, fire up, rancor, bitter mumur, cruel limits etc.) and they are not used very much. so lower rewarding just makes the perk garbage for comeback mechanic. bad version of blood warden?
NOED is not suppose to be earned, it is suppose given. I think if your going weaken the perk, its probably better to make it easier to counter. for example current noed is like old undying where you need cleanse all 5 dull totems, similar to how old undying bounced to all 4 totems. maybe instead needing to cleanse all 5 totems, you only 3-4 dull totems. so Noed only activates if more then 2 or more dull totems are left standing.
so now survivor can more realistically counter the perk by preventing the perk from activating.
Sir what im proposing is a buff.

I have to agree she is easier to use now.
If the speed boost was removed from range, she would become way harder for many.
I wonder if it was a bunch of Nurse main asking for it. Would it have some effect?
edit:
I think I know why that boost exists. It's possible that the way they've fixed her, they simply cannot do it another way.
I dont mean the add ons.
You can attack straight out of a blink now.
Its much easier to chain blinks because the blink bug is gone.
Its way more intuitive to play her now. Its like they sent her to a workshop and the workshop said screw it we cant fix your old junk, here is a brand new and upgraded version, enjoy it.

Scourge Hook: No one escapes death
Whenever a survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, the killer gains 5% haste for 25/30/35 seconds.
No exposed, no endgame.

Whats going on is Valve thought killers were too weak and buffed them. After people stop throwing they will get some number and adjust those changes accordingly.
For what its worth, a solo survivors worst enemy is other solo survivors that just dc on first down or suicide on hook. Nothing the killer can do even comes close to that level of effectiveness and since the update, those kinds of players have been rampant. Like every 3/4 games. The other 1/4 games that survivors actually try to win are very enjoyable.

An excuse to whom? Themselves? You dont need an excuse to camp, it doesnt need justification. Its easy and effective, basically a crutch.

Eh. For every killer that leaves hook only because of BBQ there is one that uses BBQ auras or lack of them as an excuse to camp. In the end killers will camp with or without BBQ. And the aura reading is strong on high mobility killers and can still provide at least good info on any other killer.
A killer that plans on camping wont bring bbq .... obviously

adrenaline overrated, u dont make it to the endgame consistently in solo que, therefore its definetly not top tier and even getting it off doesnt always provide you with a benefit,
overcome overrated, u dont want to get injured to get your exhaustion off, being injured usually gets u to another window or pallet anyway + useless against 1 shots,
lightweight heavily overrated, it rarely gives you any value,
distortion overrated, being able to hide your aura isnt very strong and rarely provides you any benefit
Alert overrated, the situations where u see the killer rarely benefit u, as you most often are either in chase or you are doing a gen, which in both scenarios there is better perks for. and for unhook aura reading kindred is the better option.
Dead Hard underrated as it is still one of the greatest perks, because it can extend chases fairly consistently
Counterforce underrated as it can completly destroy hex builds + provides value with inner healing,
'being able to hide your aura isnt very strong and rarely provides you any benefit' huh? Are you vsing many killers that dont bring any aura perks or something?

I dont know Nurse blink ranges too well but I am pretty sure they are nothing like 32 meters which is how far you need to be for MYC to proc. I would say something like agitation to get them to the basement/scourges instead of insidious.
20 metres without add ons. Yeah thats a consideration as well, i should probably be using at least the purple range

Infectious and the add on to make them scream. Make it complete scream build. (infectious over MS) I really don't think survivors are going to notice MS and feel anymore pressured to get the save then they already do

My apologies, I misunderstood, but as someone else said, I don't think that the perk was the only reason that would be able to increase chances of escape, there can be numerous factors that come into play within the situation. The killer may or may not have slipped up, no one can truly know aside from the killers and survivors within that match.
I'm sure you know this, but there are people who do think that the sole reason that survivors were able to escape was only because of DH.
Also who am I to call Killers petty for that, both sides have their own petty things.
Again, if I misunderstood somewhere, my apologies.
''there are people who do think that the sole reason that survivors were able to escape was only because of DH''
Oh yeah some people are actually like that.

Real quick, so I will debunk this real quick, I do admit that some of my random teammates once in a while would use DH when I was in my two-man swf. But surprisingly it wasn't as common as other people were putting it, but that was probably because me and my friend don't use it and we take half the team so the people more likely using it had a 50/50 chance to end up on my team.
Once in a blue moon did I see teammates running dead hard, and surprisingly quite a few of them were not skilled with the perk despite it just being "press a to win"
Now, at the same time, I will admit that again there would people who would run the perk every once in awhile that were in fact skilled with it and we probably must've won a match thanks to it. But you'd be surprised with the amount of teammates I used to have that was just dead hard into a wall.
Thats not what i am saying. I understand that you arent using dead hard and neither were your friends. What im saying is beforehand even when you werent using dead hard the killer would have to check for it so to speak losing precious time, sometimes multiple times in a match if you havent shown them any other exhaustion perk.
After the patch what could be happening is, yes killers getting overall a little buffed, which is nice. But more importantly killers are just going gungho now so to speak and that might be making you go down easier. Even more than the 10% pallet break, even more than the less distance covered after a hit imo whats also a big factor is killers are just not giving people those extra few seconds in a chase to check for DH, that mental switch is gone.
I'm saying even if none of the 4 survivors in your lobby were running DH, you all used to benefit from it. And now you dont. Aka yes you didnt run DH, but you still benefited from it.
I know, i know its petty. But yeah killers seem faster in chases, could that be a factor as well? : P

Distortion has a limited duration, and it needs to be refilled. It’s not a permanent aura blocking, that works the entire game non stop.
if people really believed that calm spirit was weak, then they wouldn’t care if it got a downside. The fact that people care that it got a downside, proves they also realize that removing crows the entire game is a meaningful effect worth playing.
Yeah it has a limited duration that can be charged but all of those charges really matter. I would argue that not getting revealed 3-4 times + having knowledge about which perks the killer has is way more important than, how many times do you usually proc the crows in a match again? 5-6 times or something? And i mean vastly better mate.

Eruption needs a timer in the worst way, or the incapacitated status needs to not be a thing. Putting a player in timeout for 25 seconds on top of 10% regression is absurd. It completely eliminates the need for game sense in the late game. Take any chase you want as long as you've kicked the gens in the 3 gen.
The Call of Brine/Overcharge synergy is way too much. I've had to do gens 2 or 3 times over because of these perks.
Eruption in late game sounds kinda meh. You kick a gen and then what? It didnt get any real regression, and now you are on a timer to find and down some one before its completed or you basically did nothing.

Not liking doing and gens and disliking being tunneled can both be true at once. I happen to prefer chases as I find gens boring and monotonous, however, being tunneled means you don't get to engage in all other aspects of the match i.e. being altruistic and helping other teammates, totem searching, etc. I like to be chased, but when you're being tunneled it denies you the opportunity to reset and have a breather as being chased can be quite intense. Also, 9/10 times you get tunneled you end up being sacrificed (which is worse since the DS/OTR end game nerfs) so it also denies you, most of the time, the opportunity to escape the trial.
Being chased is fun. Being chased 24/7 and taking all the heat off the killer knowing they want you out of the game is not fun. There's a difference.
Oh i kind of get it. Being chased is fun but knowing that you will get sacrificed soon tains that fun. Like a last meal kind of deal.

Calm spirit still makes it much easier to try to hide from the killer the entire game. If a survivor is moving away from a generator because the killer is approaching, it’s much easier to find a hiding spot if the survivor doesn’t need to worry about alerting any crows. And being able to walk or run around open maps, without worrying that the killer might spot a moving crow, is huge.
Yes yes agreed its good, still not on the same level as old IW imo. Perks should be allowed to be good. Maybe im just not getting the importance of crows but they are not our only way of tracking. An active gen itself is a pretty damn good indication, a look at bbq is extremely great. If i get a flood when they are trying to be sneaky its just gg.
If we are being honest i would argue distortion is probably a better calm spirits than calm spirits.

Crows are a killer tracking method, and Calm Spirit removes it for the entire game. Perks like that shouldn’t exist without some sort of limitation or downside. It’s the same logic that caused BHVR to nerf the unlimited duration Iron Will, but buff Off The Record because it reduces grunts of pain only for a limited duration.
I get what you mean but the usefullness of the perk is kinda imcomparable. The value of sound during chase is way more important than not alerting crows, which is strong but debatable whether or not worth a perk slot.

Calm Spirit removes an entire killer tracking method for the entire game. It absolutely deserves to have a downside added to it.
It doesnt, calm spirit removed niche things. Oh wait you mean doctor or something?

Yeah i always got confused when people said being tunneled was 'denying to play the game' and then turn around and say the chase was the most fun part of the game and gens were boring.

Yes of course I won't argue with that but I'm specifically talking about a 99 sprint burst against a nurse trying to blink on top of you, it's a risky gamble that may or may not pay off and if it doesn't you might as well abandon the chase and go for a new survivor than try to blink your way back into a chase with all that distance between you and the survivor, I'm not the best nurse by any means but I'm very confident in my ability with her and against her due to going in KYF with good nurse mains alot and practicing, i have a feeling once people start getting used to SB it will become the next dead hard but I could be totally wrong about that and knowing BHVR they'll probably release a game breaking perk that replaces dead hard in the next patch and make people not even think about SB
Yeah its brutal when that happens. Even more brutal when you commit to 2nd blink and miss.
And the thought of a new busted exhaustion perk is the most brutal of them all : D

By all means. Please send yourself to the huge maps. Send yourself to red forest with no add ons. Don't camp. Don't tunnel. Don't be anywhere near the unhooks. Record it and show us that she's S-Tier still.
I dont use any addons, i dont tunnel, i dont bring a single slow down perk. I also dont have any trouble in red forrest or any of the bigger maps. Well, i get trouble in her own map, its extremely annoying there but its probably a skill issue. Granted im not the best nurse player and its unlikely that im going against best survivors.
Could have to do with builds, im running a mostly info based build thats probably working in my favor in a big map? Try giving Lethal, Floods, BBQ, Starstruck a go.

We we can agree to disagree then because I'll guarantee you that I'm saving the 99 sb until you're right about to hit me and using it to dodge the swing and force fatigue I'm not just gonna mindlessly run straight while you blink on top of me , I've got thousands of hours of game time into nurse and I'll go ahead and say trying to blink on top of survivors is not how you do well with nurse that's how people end up getting juked, it's a very beginner state of mind to have that strategy but again this is all just my opinion and we're all entitled to have one
I'm not going to pretend to be some master Nurse, im below average in my opinion but there are plenty of times when its correct to try to 1 blink a survivor. Hell sometimes its correct to not even wait for 2nd charge after an injure and just go for a down.

She'd be lower a-b I think, yes. She'd be a killer with an annoying chase power and no map presence. Please send yourself to red forest maps, eyrie, ormond please. Don't camp, don't tunnel. Tell me how strong you think she is at that point. Because all she would be at that point is slinger.
I'll gladly use no distance if you want. I'll just be proxy camping. Going back to hook, tunneling a lot more 🤷
Nurse without range add on would be strong b, weak a tier. Got it.

Basekit nurse is far from a problem. She has plenty of counter. No one actually defends range. People like me just recognize they're a necessary evil until devs learn how to make maps that aren't stupidly huge
Range add on is not necesarry evil, nurse isnt suddenly going to become a B tier killer without range or if they revert the buff to it we all thought was a bug till recently.

I would argue if you tried to blink right on top of me while I had sprint burst 99 you would get torched by the distance or the speed of being able to fake one way then the other for even more distance, you must be playing against some really bad survivors if they can't even use a 99 sprint burst to force a situation exactly like old dead hard, or to even force a nurse to waste a blink, the only way that's gonna work out in favor of the nurse is if the survivor is bad and never looks behind them and instead just runs without knowing which way the nurse is setting the blink.
You could argue it but thats not how it works. If im too far away on first blink aka not on top of you AND dont have a 2nd blink, sure, fair play. Best thing you can do against nurse with sb is probably just book it as soon as you see her and hope she doesnt have range addons to blink half a map away.
Funnily enough best exhaustion vs nurse is probably still DH
