nah they dont, nurse, blight, ranged killeres and a gigantic amount of op addons that are used every single game by all killers are still in the game. And DS is way more than fine, stop tunneling survivors, in fact should be basekit, every survivor should have it so at least they can get to play the game.

    Whats wrong with tunneling <3

Again, this thread is not about who is the most difficult to play. It's irrelevant.

And also wrong, but mostly irrelevant.

Alright let me leave you to your circlejerk, have a good time.

You are conflating and missing the point entirely - which is exactly why your responses look like some weak flex.

Sure, there are plenty of killers who are hard to play, but they are not meaningfully harder. As it has been pointed out several times across many, many threads - most of us agree Blight and Billy (Thanks to his chainsaw nonsense) are somewhere up their with Nurse in terms of difficulty. Positions on the ladder are really negligible at that point.

However, we don't act delusional and call Nurse easy. That wasn't the point of this thread. The point of this thread is Nurse's interaction with survivors is more unique than Billy's or Blights or Artists, and that is absolutely true. That, coupled with her learning curve, presents a unique scenario. Problem?

As some one who tried all of the mentioned characters Nurse genuinely and sincerely feels way easier. Blight even without tricks like hug techs is imo times harder than nurse.

Landing a snipe with artist feels harder than literally any and all things nurse can possibly do. It feels nonbrainer to me that artists skill ceiling is miles above nurses.

Hell even with killers like twins there are so many things to consider when playing with 2 characters, the spatial awareness required to reorient yourself quickly and use both Victor and Charlotte from different angles in a single chase. The decision making behind when to play those 2 together and when to keep them seperated. Not even getting into all the trick shots with victor that to me seems way harder than nurses blinks.

I am not flexing when i say i genuinely think nurse is way easier than those killers. And to me it feels like you guys are stroking your egos by insisting she is as hard as those killers. I am not saying she is on the same level as trapper, she is definitely more skill intensive but cmon guys ... she is no blight ffs.

And then you wonder why everyone use borrowed time, dead hard, desicive strike and unbreakable. Tunneling is actually bad tactics if others just do gens and are free from pressure. Tunneling is only really viable if you do it fast and others don't work on gens and come to help. Personally I don't tunnel but I can hook sometimes someone twice in a row but im not that cruel to kill them immediatelly after that thought. Better stragedy is to tunnel 2 survivors same time but it's harder to pull off.

You understand that taking some one out of the game is an insane amount of pressure right? 4v1 vs 3v1 is a totally different dynamic.

When someone drops into a thread like this to dismiss the premise with the idea that a "Hard to play character is easy." - That person is not well-intentioned. He's just looking to flex a little.

Do you guys genuinely think nurse is harder than blight or artist. Or hell do you think she is harder than billy? Are you guys serious or are you trolling? Sure she is harder to learn than a basic m1 killer but there are killers in game that are far harder than nurse. Compared to those killers, nurse is far easier.

Just because she is insanely good doesnt mean you need an insane amount of skill to play her. According to OP they became pretty good at her in 50 hours, thats less than 1 week of play. Do you think that merits calling her hard? Are you all insane?

  • I just want quality of life improvements for twins man.

Like let Victor drag survivors to hook and let him be able to hook them but he moves at 75% speed. We dont want to slug people

Speed up the time it takes to switch between Victor and Charlotte

Make blood splatters on ground more consistent

    Rework the damn addons

The rest of killers will be happy. They wont deal with DH. I'm only asking to nerf/change chase powers of some killers.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2952637#Comment_2952637

I disagree. SB will be even more hated. Whenever you aproach any gen you will see Meg running in straight line far far away you won't even want to chase her.

About the maps goes both ways honestly. have you ever got chased by Trickster or Nemesis in auto heaven? Yeah fun times.

I mean gotta think about sb with more context. Dh used to rekt nurse, blight, twins w/e. Meanwhile when playing those killers and a survivor uses sb you tend to not even notice they have sb.

    This is incorrect.

But what really is uncounterable is Dead Man's switch and Scourge Hooks of Pain. Especially on Artist. Tinkerer, killer perks are way less counterable.

Dead hard for distance is utilizing a perk like any other exhaustion perk, which is what perks are supposed to. Anti-loop have little to no counterplay and with kill rates as high as they are, as absolutely crazy as it sounds, the subject of nerfing dead hard should warrant drastic killer nerfs to compensate.

The counter is paying attention and not mindlessly holding m1. No wonder you think its uncounterable <3

Except i dont do it willy nilly. If there is 5 gens up after 5 minutes and 3 survivors hiding behind a rock yeah get me the f out of the game Ill kill myself on hook. I have better things to do than watch survivors urban evade behind every bush they find being too scared to touch a gen.

Dcers will just dc after being downed for the first time because their ego cant take the fact they are ending up on a hook.

I'm not going to apologize for not spending 30 minutes to do all gens alone and im not going to apologize for not wanting to feed bloodpoints to heavy tunneling killers at 5 gens.

Literally everything you said can easily be said about people that dc. The only difference between you and them is that your method of quitting the game is just a tad slower.

Im surprise you havent realised this. Be a bit more self aware man

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2953263#Comment_2953263

And of course, you also have your 'Fresh Take' people who think she's easy as pie and it was something else all along. I did not forget about them when I was writing my novella. I just don't give a hoot about that opinion.

I mean compared to artist or blight, she might as well be bubba. Hell she is easier than twins and i say that as a nurse main

  • Cough cough you know your buff idea includes nurse but excludes pig and trapper right?

  • Nah im pretty sure nurse is pretty easy but requires a good pc to play smoothly and not a lot of people have those.

Used to get hard frame drops/ lag a good amount of time when i blink on my last pc. Now that i have a new one every game is a breeze while im just chilling.

Im sure there are survivors that can run me for 5 gens still but im not getting those in pubs and mmr is capped anyway.

Nurse is genuinely easy if you have a good rig but since the vast majority of players dont have that she is unlikely to be a problem.

  • @Hannacia said:

I am quilty of killing myself on hooks sometimes if i have bad teammates or super campy tunneling killer since i dont want to feed bloodpoints to these people, BUT my biggest issue right now is the amount of dcs that happen from survivor sides.

Everytime survivor gets hooked or caught or doesnt like the killer they babyrage and quit...its getting quite silly and im kinda hoping something would be done about this. 5 minute penalty isnt enough.

You understand that there is basically 0 difference between you and the dcers right?

Because hug teching and scoot surf both result in more or less the same kind of slide around an object? And if you can actively prevent something from being used, that is counterplay. For instance, going to an area where Huntress cannot use her hatchets.

Blight can only "negate" loops if he wins the mindgame. You yourself acknowledged you are not that good, but then shift the blame to balance, why? Also I already mentioned he has badly designed or overtuned add-ons that need changes anyways. This post is about his basekit.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2952227#Comment_2952227

So why not turn it into a mechanic and balance around it then?

Because i doubt they would like smash bros melee level of technical skill in their game.

  • A great example of whataboutism OP, well done!

  • Buddy you dont need a reason to tunnel or camp. Its not punishing survivors, its literally just playing the game.

  • @Ronaldo said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2951610#Comment_2951610

Yea you have a point but i think atleast t3 needs to be gone. that is literally no matter how good you are he is gonna catch you so i don't think that should be in the game

Game is 4v1, not 1v1. No matter how good you are the killer should be able to catch you, obviously.

  • Tunneling and camping are both effective ways to play the game and pretty annoying for survivors. What doesnt help is that some killers are designed in such a way that the correct way to play them is by doing those things.

I know a lot of people complain about huntress camping but her power allows her to deny a large area and quickly down survivors that attempt a rescue, playing huntress efficiently is basically camping. Same thing for killers like bubba or hag, they are basically designed for those things.

There are also killers like the twins where you almost have no choice but to slug sometimes. I know its not fun for the survivors but if i down a survivor with Victor and Charlotte is at the other side of the map, what other choice do i have?

Slugging, tunneling, camping are just parts of the game. Often times not fun for survivors but thats not really the problem of the killer.

  • It sucks for blight mains but basically most high level play hinging on a bug was definitely weird.

  • @Sumnox said:

That's why killers have been constantly getting buffed nonstop over the course of 6 years since release. And that's why the average kill rate has gone up to pretty much 3,5-3,7 , basically meaning most games result in 3-4k. Because they don't want to balance the game around killers being a threat.

    ... Right.

Legion was powerful before the buff. I easily got 3-4k every game, unless it was this very anecdotical and rare SWF team in a strong map. You get those 1 out of 10 games, if even. People playing killer just honestly want to watch a cinematic at this point, not play a game.

Legion was powerful before the buff. Hahahahaha XD

  • Low A tier imo. S+ for camping. Pretty great at snowballing. Kinda feels map dependant. Pretty good in chases in dead zones and pretty great at eating pallets but kinda gets rekt by windows. Has pretty great addons imo for what its worth. Definitely not in the same tier as say, nurse so definitely not top tier.

  • Disagree, i love playing killer. I hate playing the bottom say, 16-17 killers.

M1 killers are boring af and its basically torture to play any killer without some sort of anti loop. But its insanely fun to play say Nurse or Twins. Is that good game design to have most of your killers be this frustrating? I dunno and i dont care, ill just keep vibing with strong killers <3

  • Didnt say that at all, they were expressing their surprise at people demonizing swfs earlier so im explaining why swfs are not liked much.

My bad for not using quotes i guess but go 0/10 take yourself lol

  • You guys do understand people ''demonize'' swfs because it gives an unfair advantage right? Playing as swfs is like having 5 extra info perks on steroids for free. People dont like stretch res players because it gives information you are not supposed to have and the same applies to swfs.

Comparing dbd to other games is kinda silly as well, if you are playing league of legends you can just type or ping to communicate and game doesnt purposefully withold information from you that your team mates posess. If there is something your team mates sees, you can see it as well. Meanwhile just simple info like 'the killer is near shack moving main' or 'im doing gens there, dont bring him here' is both incredibly powerful and would otherwise not be information you get.

I think you fail to understand basic game mechanics op.
