- You are playing a team-coordinated game. Survivors trying to play together to WIN should be an expectation. If you don't find it fun to face people playing as a team and trying hard to win, then perhaps killer is not for you.
- Don't take out your past games on a set of new survivors, same goes for the other side. If you cannot separate the game from reality/emotions then maybe you should take a break from playing tbh.
- As above, people are always going to be #########. Learn to not take it personal and separate a game from reality. People SHOULDNT BM but people will do what they want.
- Just because you keep running into the same survivor, doesn't mean you have to chase that survivor. Lol. It's not like the next survivor is gonna be 100 miles away.
- ? Okay..
I can't be bothered to answer the rest, because it always feels like rinse and repeat of just excuses. If you're gonna play #########, or be a jerk to the next set of survivors just because you had a bad day or a bad game, just own it instead of trying to excuse it. Emotional control and self-reflection is a good skill to have, not just for gaming.
You sound like a real Yun-Jin

Deerstalker 2 is a good one to judge distance if the survivor glows you are two close Deerstalker 3 is in between because i believe 32 or 28 but DS2 is 24 meters so it must be 28

Outbreak Breakout is probably the most painful achievement to obtain that Im not even sure if I want to go for it
This is coming from some one who did the original Deranged Pursuit, which is BY FAR the worst achievement Ive ever grinded for (so far).
I'm having more trouble with the Mikaela perk as it seems no killer runs hex's in the matches

I tried it in 3 different ways. First time, I killed 3 people and let the last one getting hatch. Second time, I killed 4 people, 1 of them activated No Way Out and died to the entity. Last time, I killed everyone and nobody activated No Way Out with 1 gen left.
I read on the forums that this challenge has been bugged for a little over a year now.
Is it possible to do this?
You should keep two survivors for the last gen, eliminate the other two immediately and effectively as possible, make sure they stay injured, bring insidious or use ghostface to stay near them often one will go near the gate when gen is nearly complete make sure they stay together if one trys to vere off slug them if they get gen done together slug them hook them challenge, you'll probably have to do this or try this tactic a couple of times or you just might be brilliant and done it in one go.

In about 900 odd hours of killer, I've had 3 survivors give me a kill on a blowout game, including my last game.
Curious if other killers have seen similar?
It is interesting that the game's etiquette is for the killer to give the last survivor an out, but the opposite doesn't hold.
A couple of times during the week, it's kinda of weird,it's mostly girl's also 😅

I'm having fun with this build currently, hmm 🤔 but huntress lullaby, Merciless Storm, work's better on Pinhead I usually run spirit fury in place of Franklins but this match called for the special occasion
There are some great suggestions here that others have put in
I'm not sure what your MMR looks like but it sounds like you're going against , pretty efficient survivor's
so personally,I would run
No Way Out (end game)
Monitor and Abuse (early to mid game)
Iron Maiden (for shits and giggles) also gives pressure because their not going to just jump back on gen
Dragons Grip + Eruption sounds fun (Swf communicate and have been letting one take the incapacitated while other finishes gen)
Fear monger (you can push gen rushers off and they can't use lithe or sprint burst to run)
I don't normally aura reading is useful for any killer but if you feel comfortable with that perk then keep it in your repertoire

It’s really weird when trophies do and don’t pop. I recently switched from PS4 to PS5 so I was re-earning all the trophies again and I was going for the “Hemophobia” one where you take no damage on Disturbed Ward and the killer DC’ed at one gen and I took no damage and did technically escape and it did not pop.
Yet when I went for the adept for Yun-Jin, the exit gates where powered and I was healing someone outside of the exit gate and the killer DC’ed and it did pop that time.
And I remember back in the day with adepts you could get four DC’s at the start of the match and you would earn the adept for killer so I’m not sure if going forward it will be like that or not.
It's probably certain one's have specific conditions because of difficultly.Hemophobia is a tough one to get especially if you solo que, it took me multiple attempts and the last try the Wraith was only after me.He would chase other survivor's injured but as soon as he saw me ,and I was fully healed he'd begin chasing me, that match made it even more rewarding when i escaped
I think it's fair tho if a killer dc's and your going for adept it unlocks because, you could have played that whole round and escape vs the next match where you don't escape.
In hemophobia's case it's a difficult to not be injured an entire match and you escape vs if you just loaded in a match 1 gen killer dc's, that's not much effort, where as the game can't tell if this was your goal to unlock it.

Not necessarily. You can grind to gold to with a pretty subpar win rate if you aren't de-pipping. And someone with high MMR can only play sporadically and have a really low grade. They did a matchmaking test last spring with grades and it was an absolute circus. There's historically little correlation between grades and skill
Haha 😂 this made me laugh so much
Your saying if you're MMR is higher, you'll be placed in match quicker?

In your next post you said Windows of Opportunity is carrying people to wins they don’t deserve. Lol. Enough said.
Of course there are things on the survivor side carrying people to wins they don't deserve (WoO is absolutely not one, and I don't even use it before you say I do). The most serious of which is just playing in an SWF. That is beside the point right now. Just because one thing is broken doesn't mean another thing isn't.
SWF gives easy wins. So I don’t play SWF. There is almost no challenge if all 4 players are good.
SWF should be nerfed - no stacking perks, no stacking items, probably some other things too.
However, eruption also gives super easy wins in the vast majority of games played. It absolutely hard carries. You can deny it all you want, but it is true.
Take a step back and think about what is good for both sides, not just the one you play the most.
I've never said that about windows of opportunity
you put perks on the character to alter the gameplay weather it's easy or challenging, there made to have an effect. Are you actually playing the game? if all you want to do is gen rush and leave ?that's not playing a game,I thought survivor's wanted to play this game, that's being in chases, exploring the maps there's no time limit so you could just free roam do totems get items but instead you rather get the gens done and exit idk
But anyway, why change one thing even if it's helping, which it's intended to do,but ignore the other issue is why this has became recently an issue when the other problem has existed for the release of the game
You're openly admitting that the perks and items on survivor side is an issue.
If something opposes or challenge's a power with both sides having equal opportunity one side uses their strategy as the other side does the same, are we not countering each other which creates the flow of balance .If this perk is that powerful to shut the gen rush meta down is that not a counter to an already powerful component.
Eruption or the other regression perks, aren't really the problem. The problem is Ego's,Pride, and literally being Stubborn this how survivor's make up the notion that the perk is op , which this is also proof of how strong survivor's are. They will attack a gen at 80% if it's hit with a regression perk ,the killer comes run survivors away maybe get the down while survivor was back on gen, and this may happen until gen is fully regressed or fully completed.
At 1 gen left which leaves two other gens open your entire team should not be alive or a third of you should be on death hook at least
But instead of moving to next generator survivors for some reason want that gen and only when it's lowly regressed then they'll move to another gen, sorry this a new counter to stop the last gen from popping but while the killer was preoccupied with the chase someone should be on another gen of course they kick that one also but you know he has eruption or a regression perk so why would you stay on the Gen being hit by the effects in a comp or com team? Or even Solo you don't need a mic two know the have resonance overcharged and eruption. There's 1 gen left and 4 still alive but one perk is actually making the other perks work against 16 fully functional perks and that's the one thing that has to go and take away my advantage while you remain with yours? Possibly my other three aren't even effecting the gens or team which still can get a gen done with all of those factors on a killer build because of perks Nerfing Eruption want change tunneling, camping, slugging but only increase it as taken away the advantage we have .
By yet gutting a killer or perk this showy that survivors don't care about the killer, who, they are the design of maps objects and details because they just to play generator sim
Sorry this is long but I don't think me explaining any further would accomplish much tbh and this reply back would be only justified with alot of whataboutism. Survivor mains seem to suffer from sometype of delusion. They know they can destroy you.Which is why the repair perks were brought into the match, that's why the second chance perks were brought into the match plus the passive but very rewarding add-ons , but they refuse to adapt to new occurrences a single perk that gives killers in top MMR a chance. and provides help to low mmr killer a shot at just slowing the match down a notch and because survivors refuse to adapt a different approach the killer isn't allowed to have time.
-
Like I personally don't want nothing free but why would they add that to other platforms but not lower the number for skilled huntress, how unfair is that
I prefer to escape the normal way, it's only happened three times and the only ones that ,I suspect that are DC survivor mains playing killer there's no reason for a killer to DC as host we still receive points and pips and may even get the high caliber survivor

Nope. I've had three killer DCs in the past week while going for various survivor adepts and I was not awarded the achievement for any of them.
You say achievement are you on Xbox? There might be different conditions for others platforms such as we have to get 100 downs on PSN for skilled huntress as where Xbox only needed 24 idk exactly if that's the case tho
-
@TheWheelOfCheese said:
Killers also ruin adepts by DCing, so at least the idiocy is symmetric.
Actually you'll get instant adept if killer dc's because the only condition for survivor adept is to escape, and that counts as an escape

OP is talking about the upcoming changes, not discussing the way the game currently works. Read the January 2023 developer update.
Well I doubt that will change, players didn't know if DCing, suiciding on hooks would mess up adepts
That would be an awful decision because their are people who can see the load out by hacks and would be very vindictive if match doesn't go their way
-
I'm also thinking as long as you meet the requirements, say if you've gotten to the merciless result by the end of the match and all DC, you could probably still get the adept if all categories are met
-
@HoodedWildKard said:
So now that adepts are based on getting a 4k. What happens if a survivor DCs? Does it count as a kill or does it mess up your adept? Because if it's the latter, then that's gonna suck hard.
Actually it does count as a kill, you can still get the adept if one survivor dcs, also if they kill themselves on hook because it's still counted as hook states you get a larger incentive for ragequits but this will not ensure the adept because you still have to get gold or iridescent in the categories and have merciless killer as match results you can have 1 iridescent but all other categories must be gold.I don't think it's possible if two dc
-
Him hitting gold means he won at least 85 % percent or preformed well enough to raise grade,so if he's getting more coordinated teams in his gameplay, being gold effects the MMR in someone way right? but after not playing for a month or two I had to be lowest MMR cap but yet I faced swf after swf or just really determined survivor's who wanted to really win in the Ash ranks but it could be that my MMR never lowered, but the grade did.

Did you watch some of the CC games?
Killers ran Eruption, and even tactically slugged/camped/tunneled.
Even on pretty killer sided maps, with heavy restrictions on what survivors could bring - they still had a hell of a time.
Eruption is fine against SWF. It's a bit much against solos, but you cannot balance this game around solo queue.
But here's the thing. Adjust Eruption slightly, make it work on hook rather than on downs or something so it's easier for solos to counter? Sure. But it won't put a dent into the QQ.
So they nerf Eruption to the ground, and then the QQ train moves onto STBFL again. Or PR+DMS. Because, again, whatever the killer meta is will always become 'this is why I lost, therefore OP'.
I think the next one will probably be No Way Out
And I would say Merciless Storm needs a buff, it's only long enough time to chase survivor's away from gen,and get into a false chase because as soon as you commit Merciless Storm doesn't actually with a name like that
The duration should be longer IMHO plus the gen is at 94 or 95 percent if the survivor player has a few seconds into the skill check's and plus they might not even fail the skill check's

@Omans said:

While it is true that the devs swing the nerf hammer too hard at times, it is very easy to see if one perk is extremely overtuned. Currently it is Eruption. You can deny it all you want, but it is absolutely carrying killers to easy wins they don’t deserve. I've been telling players for months not to rely on it because it is obviously a busted perk. If you are disappointed at that, it's also on you.
Same with Nurse. This has been coming for her for a long, long time. Players who knew that, and didn’t rely on using a killer who gives too much power to the user, aren't terribly disappointed.
Basically: stop being carried by only the most OP stuff, just let yourself fall back to the mmr you should be at. You'll be much happier.
You can deny it all you want, but it is absolutely carrying killers to easy wins they don’t deserve.
That right there, is the mentality of survivors and what killer mains are against.Getting value from a perk because you only have 4 vs 16,1 vs 4 .You certainly had to put the effort in chasing the survivor, mind you possibly fully healed but you played to the best of your ability won the chase but you shouldn't be rewarded against three survivors running prove thy self with one gen left on the board, but you as a survivor should be rewarded for stacking perks together sitting there waiting for a prompt so you can immediately run to the gate and leave if not already have someone waiting at the gate when last gen got rushed like the others?Using speed boosters such a lithe to dart to the middle the map wasting more time, while you pre slam a pallet and use your anti septic to fully heal.
Hypothetically if I just slug you and try to get back to the gen on the other side of the map only for the gen to go off in my face because the one survivor jumped in my face and that was enough time to finish the gen, and have you and your fellow teammates jet away with adrenaline or sprint burst?it's okay to have these perks stackable for survivors but let's make them not stackable for a Nurse who runs a perk that reward's them for locating a player or a greedy survivor who insta saves , because they camped nearby and got caught after unhooking and their chase didn't last long enough for friends to finish the gen under 40's
Wow no perks should ever give the killer value even though most likely two of the perks the killer ran didn't contribute to the match 2 perks vs 16 fully functional perks is something a killer main shouldn't be rewarded for, That is hilarious
-
4 survivors + all escaped = 4e's out killer gets 0k's

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/360022/top-5-strongest-killers
Define 'strong'?
Some killers are strong, but have a really high skill floor (generally with no skill ceiling).
But in terms of top-end performance:
- Blight. He'll probably edge out Nurse after her addons get nerfed.
- Nurse. She'll still melt faces, but not quite as hard as she used to - the change to her attack type is going to do more than nerfing her addons.
- Artist. My sleeper pick. Just...this killer can do almost everything, and has fantastic tracking built in on top of it. A good Artist is terrifying.
- Plague. The snowball/comeback queen. I don't think many other killers can go from 1 hook at 1 gen left to everyone dead as fast as she can.
- Wesker. Passive slowdown, great addons, his TR is so large that it's almost as good as having no TR.
Spirit is good, but she's...a lot of work for less payout than stronger killers.
Oni is good, but relies heavily on snowballing.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3310077#Comment_3310077
PH is annoying because he can do some shenanigans to circumvent anti camping/tunneling.
I mean Pyramid Head draws his power from Silent Hill, things in the entity realm doesn't effect him the same. He's there of his own free will. What can you do ?
-
Now let the brainstorming begin , how can we dissect his words and show him how inadequately his opinion is lol 😂
-
I mean they 3k escaped if not all of them got out
-
Wesker isn't strong he's fun to play as but dude is balanced, like Pyramid Head.It feels good to use his ability when it works for you and not like you're struggling with Pyramid Head but Wesker is time consuming like his exposed add-ons hopefully you'll never be in a chase that long with an uninjured survivor just to get a insta down
I've played 5 Wesker's so far and was killed by two because of circumstance, position, resource's but, I've beaten three and they were pretty determined, the also had good ol Eruption,CoB or Overcharge.Which one guy did that entire combo but he only killed me by circumstance, the other three survivor's rotated the gens and he was protecting the main gen on RPD
Wesker has a very punishing miss and three cool downs. You have to extend Virulent Bound if you miss the second one you'll lose distance if you don't bump, but this also slows him down in the process and if do bump, now you have to wait for the power to cool down, which is pretty forgiving at the rate. Then you have to extend it again and if you miss the first one and decide to stay in area, this slows you down again, because Virulent retracts when the power cools down, also the increase rate happens a bit simultaneously at certain notches during the cool down if the action is failed or succeeded, the second build up may not seem slow but when you're in the same tile as survivor and you miss the first Virulent it's very noticeable when you thought you had the second dash. His power works as it should but that doesn't make him strong, especially at vaults that's why he was giving the buff to hit survivors if they stand at the vault when he vaults
I think you all are comparing his map pressure to his actual skill cap, which he can recovery a game with his map pressure and skill of the player but even the best so called Wesker went against the best so called SWF group which I think ended in a 3e or possibly 4e,I wasn't paying attention to that at the end I was focused on the mistakes he made ,but he did do a rematch with them.So skill vs skill any killer will shine
-
@squbax said:
I honestly see too much people putting m1 killers up there, like how do you think those are even remotely good compared to the actual killers, dredge, sadako and the like are easy af to beat compared to say spirit or blight.
My list is:
1.Nurse
2.Blight
3.Spirit
4.Wesker
5.Twins
Well Dredge may be M1 but he has a pretty good passive and also being able to deliver a decent amount of map pressure
While can be ineffective at times a good trap placement or being caught in a trap is equivalent to an insta down and trapper may be the fastest M1 killer in chase, besides clown.
I honestly threw legion in there because, it's funny 🤣 plus i main them lol
Artist is obviously if not even stronger than spirit you can down from pretty much wherever and protect gens without slow downs
-
Is this based on personal use or just an opinion.I only play as Pyramid Head unless,im going for an adept
I personally don't find Wesker strong his power takes to long for the ouroboros to fully extend by that time survivor is in safe area of loop,if you bump you feel foolish and I'm pretty sure you look stupid from survivors perspective. Also if you throw someone into an open area, it's Nemesis's 9.0 you now have to get three strikes
I find him a complete waste of time, playing as him.He says, I only have 7 minutes, well guess what? that's when the match will end because of your clunky ass power has wasted all the time and generators got done, then survivors get to unleash ouroboros on you at the exit gates other than that throwing people far is really fun
1.Pyramid Head
2.Dredge
3.Trapper
4.Artist
5.Legion
Worthy mention - Michael Myers

I want to make an interview with a Nemesis player that doesn't tunnel on 5 gens, doesn't go back to the hook every unhook and slugs to death people without hooking just to keep tunneling the guy who was unhooked, ofc this Nemesis can't have Eruption+Cob+Nowhere to hide+Overcharge combo because every Nemesis I see brings 4 slow down + 5 gen tunnels.
If that person is alive, I would like to interview you and ask you some questions about your personality and confindence at your skills, also give you a medal for being the only Nemesis I know who doesn't tunnel on 5 gens with 4 slow downperks.

In fact I like challenges, if I destroy everyone in like 5 minutes where is the fun? This game has so many problems, but at top MMR I deduced that playing sweaty and efficiently means win like 90% of the game. But if I play sweaty at low MMR, where is the fun? Where is the actual satisfication in win a game?
It's somewhere between clutching a really good SWF and when you some how get a baby meg, that makes every mistake in the book and you give them hatch or door whatever's convenient
It's not an easy answer as far as beating high mmr player's because they use every perk and items to extend chase's and speed up gens.If I get beat by them it's not a win for the swf because,I know how the game is designed and nothing can stop a gen rush ,as long as I get hooks and used my power to get good shots then,i kinda won because i had some fun

I prefer not playing. I'm at top MMR bro, I'm a ######### veteran of dbd and seeing the game in this state isn't acceptable. And I'm not going to low my MMR only because devs don't want to put a decent anticheat and care about their ######### game
I mean nothing will change, survivor's get things nerfed that could be viable in higher MMR, it's no reason for you to play boring games where you destroy casuals and solo q, hince why they want a buff.

Like I said in my post that seems so hard to fathom, these perks have been in the game for a year
And now it's just coming under the microscope,so yeah the problem is now a issue because, now a lot of "killers" run this perk because one killer got value out of this
Please stop with the three gen excuse , when survivors literally know how to split gens and make there spread, which they've been doing since the release of this game
Yes it's very suspicious that once you see complaints here , it's funny how the rise in the issue goes up
Now if that isn't people intentionally doing this, that is one hell of a coincidence?
Hey you don't have to agree me , taking my words and microscoping them doesn't literally change fact's
BTW I do play often and, I still haven't bleed out , Eruption and Call of Brine or whatever has stopped the match whole , maybe slowed it which that's what the perks are intended to do ?
I like what Pulsar said you focus on one aspect but not the entire , which changing theses perks want change the behavior of the player base

Broken OP killer perks, 2nd chance perks stacked, gen speeds that are influenced by perks and items, OP killer add-ons, Eruption, Dead Hard
I personally think that this would just prove that without perks the game can actually feel fun, Nurse and Blight players would actually have to be good and not rely on the crutch add-ons, and Survivors would actually have to have map knowledge and game sense
I think this would minimize the situations where killers are carried by perks against good solo q players and 4 man team would not be able to stack 4 bnps hyperfocus and conveniently placed boons, Ormond offering and 1 dead hard per player
What I am trying to say is your skill in this game would matter a little bit more and that's always satisfying
Last year in December me and my friend decided to do the power moves achievement together (so escape 8 times in pubs with 0 perks and 1 gen repaired) and even though it was hard we did it and it was one of the most fun times I had in DBD
People who play as nurse are just good or decent, people who don't play as nurse are not good
Like I suck with nurse , and I have a ton of killer experience and some what streak of genius

Essentially the title. Admittedly its abit of a rant but we are also curious. For us we will own up to it if asked but since we're rarely asked its kinda a moot point.
Just had a game with someone who decided to play like an [beep] (hard tunneling and slugging the last one for the full bleed out. On that note, we can add one to the "never got hooked and died counter"). At the end they said "blame the last survivors" and nothing else. Got us thinking about all the times where players play like [beep] and blaming others for their actions and wondering if anyone even admits when they play like that.
I just find it funny how much full bleed outs are occuring, also know when survivor's want something changed,a group of them will play killer and do this continuous thing to make sure it's on everyone's mind and the devs finally nerf it because of abusive misuse like cage auras for pyramid head.During PTB no one used cages to tunnel but , survivors didn't like the fact that you could see the cages just like you could see hooks mind you,the over use for tunnel a cage became a problem after because someone made a clutch play against a swf ,that they sent in their agents and made it a problem.
Which seems to be what's happening with eruption literally been in the game over a year, along with COB but soe group got beaten by it, they want it changed now.
You can tell the difference between a killer main and a survivor playing killer main at least I can.

While the SWF thing might feel true, and trust me I've felt the same thing before, it most likely isn't. This is probably attributed to high MMR and even rotten luck.
I know it seems unlikely, but this is how i am for sure, that some can see the loadouts and who or what killer.I ran certain builds one day testing out my theory and 10 out of 6 games would have direct counters that played against my perks and map selections
I selected a certain map where balanced landing has no effect or a map that had dead zones like the chapel and every match they had perks that played on strength of map.
What is a telltale sign that the survivor is possibly hacking or know who they are facing, from PSN/XB because you can refresh players just met and this shows you who's in the current lobby, and possibly know what killer you main they'll come in a lobby and wait a few then switch survivors with a certain build but they no longer have to do this because of presets
-
Some people know who there playing against with a program, they are hackers who can see the killers loadout and what killer they are facing maybe even the name of player, I'm sure it's also a thing where you are locked into one type of server because it feels like I'm going against swfs every other match and they're just trying to win really bad

Hook suiciding is used to DC except without getting the penalty deserved for DCing.
If hook suiciding is removed, people will either actually DC, AFK, or sandbag, ruining a game that… would be ruined anyways if they suicided on hook.
If people then actually DC, then they get the DC penalty they deserve. If they AFK, they should be kicked and given the DC penalty they deserve.
People already sandbag even when a loophole around the DC penalty exists. This does not suddenly make sandbagging a new issue.
If they sandbag and are too obvious about it, they risk a ban from the game entirely. If they play enough for it to be passable as just a bad player, then they’re still playing instead of quitting.
You can’t force a player to stay in a game they don’t want to play, sure. But you can make sure they don’t have a way to DC while avoiding the penalty literally meant for DCing.
===
An exception can easily be made specifically for a situation where a survivor could try and give hatch. It does not justify keeping suiciding as a whole.
- Example: If only 1 or less survivor is standing (healthy/injured/Deep Wound), a Give Up option appears.
Hook suiciding ≠ Self-unhooking. Hook suiciding can be removed without removing self-unhooking.
- Example: A penalty that isn’t remaining time on hook. Eg, Broken for 20s upon unhook per failed attempt. A serious debuff for people not trying to suicide on hook, but doesn’t allow people to suicide on hook.
I honestly think it's a good idea to not have hook suicide's in the game,if they don't want to play put the controller and wait for it to be over.
The being kicked from the match is a bit extreme you may have to answer the door, fixed the kids something to eat etc.
There's so many instances where the killer gets cheated out of a Mori because someone decide's to hook suicide which,I've also done.
I know not every killer plays like I do, I'll give a gen or two depending on skill level if a survivor DC's early but , I still want to play the game.
I don't like the fact of bots replacing human player's because a computer generated can detect counters to your input 2x faster than a regular player which can cause you to waste a bunch of time and probably has a better 4% chance to unhook them selves.
The game should remain as is in this sense it sucks when people leave but because you don't win doesn't mean you still can't enjoy the match it's only just a little tougher.

Ok I miscommunicated my point. My personal belief is that when a surv dies or is sacrificed in a trial. Then the memory of that particular trial is removed when the entity resurrects them.
This means that as far as the survivor knows, if they die, it's permanent. Otherwise they would know that even if they are caught and hooked and sacrificed then they will simply come back.
Oh I get what you're saying now, that definitely makes sense

I’m glad you agreeed it is a form of griefing. :)
once again, unbreakable and key is not a counter as the killer stands over the slug the entire time.
im not sure what you are talking about serial killers since I play dead by daylight which is a video game , and in dead by daylight there are hooks and hook states. I always try to hook survivors 3 times in my killer games. I thought I was playing dead by daylight, and I wasn’t playing a ‘game’ called ‘being bled out on floor while killer stands over me for 3.9 minutes’.
do read what I said when survivors hid or camped exit gates in my killer games.
im also glad you agreed killlers can push survivors out but survivors can’t make killers hook :)
If everything I've said to you and that's all you took away that than this is more motive driven as it clearly reads.
I'm glad everything,I said was disregarded and completely not valid? I don't find the use in explaining any further,I'll end the conversation here good day.

Do you really play the game, and did you really read my original post?
Im trying to help here so here’s probably my last reply to you.
1 survivor was downed and hooked at the beginning of game. Another survivor unhooked while the nurse blinked back to hook and pretty much immediately downed the rescuer within 10 seconds. Until this point I noticed the nurse got PAIN RES as I screamed at my gen. Nurse hooked the rescuer and went for the one who was just unhooked. One hit down, another scourge hook and my gen exploded again. Rescuer got unhooked and the nurse blinked to him and ‘tunneled’ him off hook. Another one hit down and back on scourge hook. Repeat until these two died. I was on a gen, it blew up multiple times I don’t even remember how many, it couldn’t be finished. I did not know what another remaining full health survivor, mikaela was doing. I assume she did some of the unhooks as I was on the same exploding gen most of the time.
Me and mikaela left in game, the nurse downed the mikaela and slugged, I was still on that repeatedly exploded gen and as the progress was only about 50% so I decided to go across the map to pick mikaela up. In this case honestly finishing one gen wouldn’t even make any changes.
i picked mikaela up, she managed to fully healed herself while I got on another gen. Mikaela got found, downed and slugged again. My new gen was 99ed. I decided to pop it anyways. Killer was nearby already, I got in chase, downed. Mikaela bled to death around 2 minutes after I was downed. Killer continued to stand over my character for almost 2 more minutes, only picked up when my bled out bar like one sec to empty.
I could have brought a key, but it would only be a chance to escape while 1. Another survivor got left on floor for 4 whole minutes and I let it happen 2. I find the hatch before the killer does, or let the killer find the hatch and I do not get spotted before I find it mind you it takes a few seconds to reopen hatch with key now. 3. If killers see a survivor with key in lobby, they always eliminate them first which is one of the reasons I don’t normally bring key.
Is it not ok for the killers to bleed survivors out ,if that's what they enjoy about the game.
It doesn't matter if it's toxic or griefing, which is in the lightest form of griefing which people on any other game that has a bleed out timers ,people tend to let you bleed out, which is a constant thing in solo q battle royals but unbreakable and keys exist in this game
In a game with serial killers , who's goal is to kill you would think bleeding survivor's out would never happen in a game like that 🤣
When survivor's hide and wait for hatch ,which can last 30 minutes + should killers be given the option to stop the match ? 4 minutes of being slugged isn't nearly as bad as survivors jumping in a locker and staying in there 10 minutes when running tombstone
It sounds like the nurse never closed hatch why not try to crawl to the hatch, there's no way they can pick you up multiple times if your health was at 2% without trigger the escape from the killers grasp or you bleeding out because each time your put down you lose a couple of milliseconds on the health state.
I was in the game with an Ada and her team and they wouldn't let me hook her specifically all three of them body blocked 3 time's so I decided to slug her.I only see this as a way for survivors to bypass the DC penalty you could run tenacity hide a bit and just give up because you don't want to play that match but also making it harder for others in solo que,who can be griefed with this mechanic

I didn't mean their memories are wiped clean everytime. Just their memories of being in the trials.
It's no need to be defensive. It doesn't make sense to wipe memories of the trial because how would survivors know that flashlights, pallets, locker's,vaults, windows and doing generators are their means to escape ? Wouldn't they start each trial without knowing what's happening and some of them must have seen what happens to survivors and killers who give up, because knowing this is now your life why would you participate. Which brings me back to Teachables how would a survivor retain the knowledge of a teachable perk if the start over with blank slates?
Even if that's true their memories are wiped, that would be a flaw in the lore and not your logic.
Also the Entity is omnipotent and knows of The Observer and Benedict, who regularly try to find ways of escaping the realm,so why not wipe there memories so they can drop the notion altogether.
Plus memories conjure and stir emotions up,which is the entity's main source of food.

I would have preferred that you comment on the doppelganger and time travel theory.I wrote a message before this but for some reason it has to be approved ?
