me, @MadLordJack, @Jyn_Mojito, and @megswifey tried it, it went badly. people were simultaniously too wholesome and anxious but also really mean to this legion cause boba called him smelly.
also no offence but i wouldnt trust half of this forum to understand the concept of the word "civil"

Maybe a Mori where they suffocate on smoke?
Furnace Head is gone. The survivor slowly stands up, looking around frantically for him. They start coughing. Coughing louder and faster, as smoke floods out of their mouth and nose, they realize whats happening. The camera slowly pans, circling around them as the area fills with smoke.
The camera reveals an imposing figure with red, burning, hateful light standing behind them as they double over coughing, tears streaming down their face. Cinders flow out from Furnace Head's body as he lifts his axe over his head, his breathing turning to a growl. The survivor barely has enough time to turn their head before the axe comes down on their back, slamming them back down into the earth.
Furnace Head's growling has turned into something between roaring and ape-like howling. Smoke pours out of the survivors wounds as FH hacks at them over and over and over, before he finally relents. Furnace Head kicks the body over, huffs, and turns around.
Oof I like that mori. However Furnace Head doesn't use smoke but I could add that aspect to the character, I don't know why he would need to use smoke when he mostly uses his fist and axe, its not that the concept was bad it just felt way too similar to clown. Not that I'm saying qwqw shouldn't continue working, I want to see what the comes up with.
Honestly if Bhvr strangely wanted Pinebrook which is (extremely unlikely) to come into DBD, then I'll be glad to work with them. I would be scared if they literally make a pyromaniac killer that looks and acts exactly as FH does then I will not be happy in the slightest, good thing I copyrighted Pinebrook and have officially claimed ownership of it. Your not getting Pinebrook without talking to me Bhvr, no sir!
I also post something on your wall you can go check it out, I want to know your opinion on it

It could be due to Outlast 2's religion themed story, and how the only enemy in outlast 1 with any real power is Walrider, but hopefully soon
That could be the reason, ngl I felt like Outlast 2 was really pushing it. Not that I mind, but they were really testing their luck in that game, I personally didn't find it as good as the first one tho, the characters were kinda forgettable, and it wasn't that scary. What the first game did was introduced to the idea of the kind of psychotic people we see in the first game, to actually existing irl, that is what was so scary about it. The second game while introduced notable characters, they felt unrealistic at best, hell I didn't like Blake that much given the fact he was making cheesy but also stereotypical( I'm not sure if that's the right word on how to describe it). He would sometimes quote something like "hey this looks like a heretic temple," or ' hey their must be a generator somewhere'.
Where as Miles was quiet about it, yet still aware of what was going on.

This guy/gal gets it
I a shocked we haven't gotten an Outlast chapter already, maybe its not as valuable of an IP due to them releasing only two games with the new one coming this year. I really don't see why Outlast shouldn't come into DBD

Now that we have RE, I want an Outlast chapter.
Honestly I'm wondering why we haven't received and Outlast Chapter yet, maybe because the fact the 2nd game is banned in Australia, but they might add it. I want Richard Trager, the Surgeon from outlast 1, he is one of the most memorable villains, and the only character I wish had more screen time. Eddie Gluskin would be hard given the fact he only goes for men not women, although now that I think about it, yeah I guess he could work. I do want the killers power to reflect the torture horror Outlast shows and brings
-
I'm not sure a whole lot of people would like that, given that people greatly want Nemesis, Mr X, or even Jack Baker, but who knows it could work out
-
You actually have a point, it could be Mr. X however I have a feeling it might be more than just one killer. If that is the case then who, if Mr.X is coming in, I highly doubt Nemesis would come in as a separate killer, but I could be wrong, maybe Jack Baker, or even Birkin. However my only hope the RE chapter isn't just exclusive just for older RE fans.

I mean it might work, but just like Oni's, Hag's, and Clown's, mori it'd be skating on some real thin ice.
I might make a mori where Furnace Head sets the survivor on fire

It's not funny anymore. I don't understand why they do it so much, especially in this game. And it's not just good players who do it. Even beginners do it. I don't think I played badly, by the way. Every time I see a player like that, he usually dies on the hook.
I understand the struggle man, but don't let them get to you, t bagging is way to get under the killers' skin, if you allow that, then they have technically won

Thank you! I'll probably go back and revise his power some more when I get to making the survivor.
Your mori for him is really good, but I feel if he was an actual character in the game the devs would have to give him a different mori because yours would be to gruesome.
Oh an Oni tearing out someone tongue and beat the ######### out of them with a kenabo isn't ( don't worry I get it) I might have to think of another good one

@QwQw said:
@Dabihwow. Alright, here's my finished concept for Furnace Head. Admittedly it's kind of rushed and not my best work, but I'm still curious to hear your thoughts on it.
What happens when a human releases all their stored rage, all their hatred? Furnace Head is the answer. A being crafted by the town of Pinebrook, it is the manifestation of anger, rage, hatred, distaste, and how we humans enact these feelings on others. It will mercilessly slaughter anything it sets its eyes on with a burning vengeance. With a motive such as that, it didn’t take long for The Entity to notice it…
Base Movement Speed: 115%
Terror Radius: 32 Meters
Height: Tall
The Smelter's power is called: Passion Of The Flames.
Special Ability: Choking Smoke
At any time during the trial, press the Power Button to unleash a cloud of otherworldly smoke that enraptures all of your current Terror Radius. Within the smoke:
- Survivors will cough extremely loudly.
- Survivors will have tremendously decreased vision.
- Survivors will suffer from the Oblivious status effect.
- Generators will automatically regress at a rate of 200% when not being actively repaired.
- Windows will only take two rushed vaults to become blocked by The Entity.
- Bloodlust is gained 20% faster.
The smoke will persist in the area for 30 seconds. Choking Smoke has a cooldown of 60 seconds.
Special Attack: Heart Of Fire.
At any time, press the Secondary Power Button to lob a small fireball. The Smelter is slowed down to 105% while charging the fireball. Hitting a survivor with the fireball will injure them one health state. Heart Of Fire has a cooldown of 30 seconds. Heart Of Fire has no cooldown if it is used in the smoke spawned from Choking Smoke.
The Smelter comes with three teachable perks.
Hands Of Blood: Their work will be their downfall. Every time a survivor gains 1,000 bloodpoints in the objective category, you gain the Undetectable status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.
Flaming Rage: Your hatred for them is so strong that it manifests itself physically. Every time you hook a survivor, every breakable wall, generator, and dropped pallet within 20/22/24 meters of you will instantly break.
Corrupted Minds: The human mind is fragile, and a withering corruption is eating away at your preys. Whenever a survivor repairs a generator to 50%, the next time they touch a generator that is not the repaired generator, it will be blocked by The Entity for 30/35/40 seconds.
Holy crap this isn't bad at all. Although his power could be changed, now that I think of it, his power could involve him unleashing his anger, for example, if after an amount of time and actions he becomes an unstoppable monster he can break through pallets and continue to go on a rampage,(similar to lopro chain billy and oni). Also, something about his ax is that, if anyone is cut by it while Furnace Head is using his magic or whatever, it leaves a massive scar and which also leaves a curse on the victim. The victim will struggle to cooperate and becomes agitated as rage grows within them. But I like the idea of smoke, but it feels a bit like Clown
Now Perks, these are very close to who Furnace Head is although he isn't usually silent. hands of Blood will be very hard one to use because well it relies on Survivors ability to do objectives which in some cases, won't happen.
Flaming rage, HOLY #########, that is a god-tier killer perk already, I love it, I love it. Hell that outclasses noed by a lot
and Corrupted Minds which I like the name is really good, I like it, plus it's close to the character, overall good job now, I have to ask you can you rate my more for Furnace Head.
Mori: Furnace Head Walks over to the Survivor the Survivor tries to make a run for it but Furnace strikes at their head with their ax splitting it into. However the ax is so wedged in that Furnace HEad lifts them up off the ground and continue to split the survivor into like he is smashing a wedge ax inside of a log, once finally split he lets out an animalistic roar and continues with the trial

He's scary, but not extremely scary. It's kinda like how the Joker is scary, but not really.

Oh, I read it, there just isn't that much to criticize.
The best I've got is that you need to remember that you are writing this from a third person limited perspective. That means that you are essentially narrating a first person story as a third party without any alterations.
The reason I mention this is because you went out of the way to mention Furnace Head's shoes, but without framing it as a passing observation. If Furnace Head was in the same room as me, the fact that me was in the room would be taking up most of my attention.
I think I have another one, although this may seem a bit harsher than my usual criticism. It's important, though, so please hear me out.
I know you were treating it seriously, but try to avoid... that topic, unless you are absolutely sure that it wont be taken as a simple attempt at shock-based horror. You need to understand, it takes an ungodly amount of skill, talent, research, or all of the above to write a scene like that and not get massive backlash. Even if you do it right, it can still be taken the wrong way, which makes sense given the subject matter.
Here, look through these pages for me:
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RapeAsDrama
Specifically, browse through these:
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SexualHarassmentAndRapeTropes
I'm probably gonna get permabanned just for linking these, but I need to make sure you don't get you or someone you care about hurt. It has happened before, and I don't want to find out that you wrote something that made people angry and violent toward you and I didn't try to help you when I could.
I'm not against including the subject, but even a small error in the delivery could annihilate your writing career and demolish your reputation easily.
I just... need you to be careful, okay? Even talking about certain subjects can ruin your life if you don't handle them correctly.
And people never forget.
I might actually rewrite it to where it's done 'off-screen' in a way, kinda like how James Sunderland stumble upon PH when he doing dirty with the mannequins, I'm not sure if that would get the message to Elliot tho because of spoilers, what Furnace Head did, Elliot did as well, he was just bringing up a terrible sin Elliot committed
The only want to know now is... has your perspective for Furnace Head, changed, or no. also is Furnace Head scary to you? Its fine you can be brutally honest

I feel like I can guess what the Furnace Head did to her after it killed her, but, well uhh... it's probably best I stay silent about it. I'm not a fan of consequences.

Ironically I was both writing this when @QwQw told me he was making a chapter concept, I wanna see what you make my friend, but here is the next page now this one is probably the hardest page I've ever posted. Not just because it was hard to write it, but it was something I was very uncomfortable writing. This page is cut thankfully, but once the book comes out you will get the un-cut version. So lets begin and also thank you to everyone who pushed me @GoobyNugget @Beelzeboop @ClamorVentus, and @glitchboi . So without further a do lets begin
The clicking of heels grew louder, echoing, until Elliot heard the sound of the door opening and closing. The thing called Julie stood in the middle of the classroom, but now she was carrying a rusty bonesaw in her right hand. "What do we have here"? she questioned as she curiously stepped closer to the crying geese, Julie then peered inside of the crib and cooed. " Aw poor things, did Aunt Rhody take your mommy you poor Rhodies." Julie cooed, she looked over to the chimp that continued to clap its cymbals. Something about it intrigued her, Elliot although couldn't make out her face it was clear she showed interest. She knocked it off the table and it landed to the floor broken, and it stopped its clapping of cymbals
She turned around and saw the clown, the creature nearly gasped at the site, but sighed as it advanced towards the clown. " Oh Dotso, one of your finest tricks I see, and I bet your celebrating someone's birthday, I wonder how mu-." Julie stopped mid sentence, something else caught her attention, the crying of the goslings almost silenced. She turned around quickly and she breathed frantically, Elliot felt the air getting warmer, his eyes widened. " Oh, oh no." He breathed, as if on que he heard the footsteps getting louder, Julie took notice and started to panic herself.
Julie instinctively spun her head around the area looking for a place to hide, she found a row of small cubbies that had little small doors. She dropped the bonesaw as it made a quitely clattered, and to Elliot shock the things whole body squeezed inside of the cubby as she closed the door behind her. " What the #########!" He whispered, suddenly a bang on the door as it swung wide open. The big ######### Furnace thing stood there in the dark and damp area. Its heavy breath was still unnerving as ever, Elliot saw that it wore old fashion galoshes that had chains wrapped around it like cuffs.
It stomped toward the cribs and peered inside, suddenly the baby cried again following the others. Elliot felt a chill in his spine, he held his breath, yet as he watched the monster it retracted. It clasped its metal, and with its fist banged its head rapidly around where the ears would be. With a low yet loud growl with its left fist it punched the Goslings, it cried loudly, which seemed to irritate the monster even more! With the its axe it lifted and chopped away, it began relentlessly chopped at the other crying 'Rhodies', their blood splattering against the walls, and small bits of them spreading through out the classroom. Chunks of wood laid crumpled to the floor as both the clown doll, and the chimp were nothing more then broken parts.
After it stopped, the Furnace thing heaved in and out, it was trying to catch its breaths as wooden pieces, bits of sharp metal laid on the floor broken and useless. The monster then heaved as it went for the exit, suddenly a moan was made audible, it came from the small, cubby. Apparently Julie 'enjoyed' watching the violence done to others. The Furnace thing stopped, and turned its body back around, Elliot could already guess what was about to happen. It stomped off to the cubby, it caught site of the bonesaw, it knelt down, opened the cubby and found Julie inside. " NO, no please!" She pleaded, but the Furnace Thing yanked her out and tossed her to the floor.
Julie struggled to recover, Elliot cringed up, even though she tried to kill him, he felt a little bit of pity for her. The Furnace Thing tilted its head, to Elliots' surprised it hasn't tried to kill Julie yet. It lifted its axe, he could see the landing blow coming, it was thrusted the axe to the ground , and it landed... by Julies' side. Elliot was puzzled yet fear stricken what was it doing? Unexpectedly the Furnace then grabbed Julies' legs, one in each hand. It lifted her up off the ground and then it ( Sorry you cannot see, as I've stated this is the cut version, and I am not willing to chance to get even remotely in trouble with the mods so we are gonna cut ahead here)
Julies' body laid limp, lifeless inside the vent, as a bloody white vomit mixture came spilling out of the tear, near the groin. Elliot held back tears, and tried not to cry for what he just saw, it brought him an absolute unease, the Furnace thing moaned as the bloody mess spilled all over its leather drape, it enjoyed what it did. It moaned all the way to pick up its axe, it lifted the heavy thing then departed the room. Elliots' heart ached in sorrow, and regret. What the monster did, the way it did it, how Julie was left, it brought a painful memory. Tears enveloped in Elliot's eyes as he sobbed. " Penny...I'm so sorry."
Just so you know I may never write something like this again, for a while I usually never write something this vulgar, ever.

For me its the other way around, people have been hostile towards me for not wanting Nemesis, and Wanting Jack Baker. I get that Nemesis is iconic but I sometimes truggle to see how he would work while still holding true to the RE lore, all the more while make his gameplay workable, fun, and strong

I think I'll hold of on making the survivor for now.
I could still work on Furnace Head in the meantime, even though we haven't really seen him all that much of him, I've already come up with some personal ideas of what his power could be.
I actually made a Pinebrook chapter once. Furnace Heads' power was... ######### to be honest, but that was before I was able to flesh him out. TO start he had a perk called Hands of blood: When a survivor leaves a gen that had 50/60/70% of it completed they are afflicted with rites of pain any time they touch a generator that wasn't the previous one will call upon the entity to block that Generator.
That was just one another I had called Flames of Rage:When you lose someone in a chase, the next hit you do causes the broken and hemorrhage status effect.
And finally we have rites of pain: whenever a survivor fails a skill check the killers terror radius is reduced to 12/16/24 meters, and the aura of the one who failed said skill check is revealed to you and they suffer from the exposed status effect.
However I want to see what you had in mind so let these jsut be some ideas if you want and make your own perks I want to see what you have in mind for this killer

Can I get some detailed descriptions of Elliot and James?
I want to do some more illustrations, but I can't really do that if I don't have a really clear picture.
Elliot when i first imagined him was wearing a sorta heavy metal jacket and wears work pants. I mentioned he has a beard which is curly and boastful, his hair I would think would follow that suit, he is caucasian. He also tends to have a pocket knife in his right, and wears a bandana on his head. Elliot has bad teeth and some pores due to his smoking and lack of health for his body
Now James, oh boy, when I first thought of James I thought of myself. James has very dirty blonde hair and dull blue eyes, he is a bit pudgy around his stomach and waist, yet he still physically healthy, he is around 6 ft 1. His face is oblong but a bit round with a little fat below his cheeks. He sports a short haircut and sometimes its a military cut, with some darkened eye sockets( Think like Cheryll Mason except not as bad) . he also wears a leather jacket although not the expensive ones, that is brown in color. He tends to wear dark pants always, whether it'd be jeans, or sweat pants. He also wears hiking boots, or western boots, and he has a pair of sneakers. One thing James loves is Baseball, and has a baseball bat at home, he is kind, protective of those he care about, understanding of others, and willing to say 'oh ######### it, I'm gonna help you', even if he is tired or stress he'll do it.
Hope this is enough

You can, but I want you to do what you want, plus you haven't read the outside area of Pinebrook yet now that the whole area has changed.
-
Oh thats awesome, I'm excited, although if I was to make a chapter of Pinebrook for DBD, the survivor would be James Linderton, he has yet to make an appearance in the Prologue, but James is the main protagonist of Pinebrook, in a way he is the only character that resembles me In real life. Now you can do Elliot and I'll be fine with that, I'd love to see what you can make of it. You do you, is what I'm trying to say. Kinda spoilerish, but James Linderton will appear in the next few pages and you'll get an idea of his character

Oh, I also REALLY want Springtrap added eventually as well. I think he’d be a incredibly unique pick that could play off of people’s fear of animatronics like how Clown does. I know some people are going to want to throttle me for saying this but, Springtrap is actually in my top 4 most wanted licensed chapters for DBD! :)
I haven’t heard or seen the post you’re referring to put, that sounds downright awful and those people should be ashamed of themselves for that. You should also NEVER try and set something in stone that just isn’t. As much as I want and hope for Nemesis, I will NOT sit here and say “yup, Nemesis is 99.9% confirmed and every other opinion or counter argument is bunk because he’s basically already in, just gotta wait for the announcement.” First, that’s quite arrogant and second, that’s doing nothing but setting yourself up to be disappointed. For all we could know, the RE killer could be a Licker, a Hunter or even, just a zombie.... that’s it, just as simple as that, a zombie. So yeah, that’s why I refuse to believe that anything is “set in stone”.
I think people just need to get their head out of their asses sometimes you know, My expectations are a little bit higher than yours but thats because I want this chapter to be good

I was one of the people who went back and laugh because the OP of that post was one of the people who would put down other people for having hopes of characters. I agree it is always ok to have opinions on what they believe, but they kept putting people down for simply wanting or hoping for a character and they insisted they were right and they would never be added. I saw it as karma for them being so mean towards others hopes so I went back to the post.
Oh, that what was happening? I'm sorry I didn't know, that part, its a big ass post and I kinda forgot some of the lines. See now I can kinda, relate, I have actually been shut down for wanting Jack Baker, or even Springtrap. Again Sorry I misinterpretted

Sorry, I should have clarified that I also like the remakes that they've done so far. 7 isn't really to my taste though, the fact that it doesn't really have any links to ANY of the games before it kind of put me off. Again, it's a good game, it just doesn't feel like Resident Evil to me.
And I think thats why they should do a lot for the RE chapter there so many games and iterations, and I think all the games of RE have something for everyone, maybe more so then other. I love RE 7 the most because it took the horror aspects simple and didn't go to crazy in sci fi aspects

@Cornpopers_Evan , its fine, I am also one of those people who want Springtrap in DBD, and I recieved just as much if not more hate than I did for wanting Jack Baker. The desire to see Nemesis or Mr.X is just flat out crazy, and chaotic. Not for the fact that people want either those two, but the fact people will go great lengths to ensure that the idea of them coming in is set in stone. Even to the point of spewing BS over stuff they can't actually do in both the RE lore or DBDs' gameplay mechanic. I actually recently was told of a past discussion where someone who heavily disagreed with people that Nemesis or Pennywise will make it to the game, and were rather rude. While I don't disagree with the aspect of Pennywise coming into DBD, is a bit out there and an interesting choice, people still want him anyway, so they are entitled to their opinions.

Very true. I would also feel robbed if 7 doesn't get any recognition or love with this chapter.
It's how I was even introduced to Resident Evil in the first place. I saw 7 in the Xbox Store, and because I was looking for a horror game to play, and because I heard good things about it, I gave it a try. And boy was it a ######### ride. I likely would not have gotten into the other RE games if I hadn't played it.
This is why I think it'd be for the best if we got something from RE7 in the game, whether it be Ethan, Jack, The Baker Estate, I don't care, I just want to the game I love in the franchise I adore be properly represented.
This literally how I got into RE, if not for 7, I would've written off RE as a whole as a stereotypical apocalyptic, with a sci fi version of the Walking dead, in fact that is what I thought the Franchise was when I first heard a bit about RE. And I think RE 7 brought a whole new generation of Players into the series, basically you and I. So it wouldn't be remotely fair, if 7 didn't get a single bit of representation, hell I don't even care if they come as legendaries ( actually I would kinda if Jack Baker was a legendary for Hillbilly, I really hate playing Billy, no offense Billy mains), so Bhvr better realize that RE is not just about the old games and how good they are, but about RE as a whole whether it is the old or the new

I just want to say this before writing out my full comment. This chapter is truly a dream come true for me, out of my top 4, this was number one. I couldn't be happier that it's happening and, to me, it doesn't truly matter who we ultimately get. I'll be thrilled with whomever or whatever we get. :) Now, with that said, I do have my preferences on who I'd want to see and how they could ultimately get the absolute most out of this chapter.
When it comes to survivors, I do think with such a juggernaut of a IP such as Resident Evil is, I do personally agree with a lot of people have been saying, I think we will be getting 2 survivors this time around. Once again, I do agree with what others have been saying as well, I think they'll be pulling from, at least, the first three originals(or there remakes) for the content of this chapter. So, that said, I think they're going to go with the two most popular characters of the franchise which, at least. from what I've seen from polls, videos and just general opinions and statements, they might be grabbing Jill and Leon for the survivors. Leon is undeniably a fan favorite and for quite a few, the face of the RE franchise and, of course, Jill is a OG and has a immense amount of love and respect in the franchise from fans, plus, I have a little tinfoil hat theory why I think it might be her that I'll get to in just a bit. Of course, MCote did have that quote from Claire but, the more I think about it, I think it was just a cheeky reference that he made because it's very specifically from Code Veronica and I just don't see them touching upon Code Veronica in this chapter.
For killers on the other hand, boy, where do I even begin. For starters, let's get the big one(quite literally) out of the way first, who, yes, is my preferred and most wanted pick for the killer, Nemesis. Nemesis is arguably one of, if not, the MOST iconic villain from the RE franchise that they could pick. He makes a lot of sense gameplay wise with a lot to pick from when it comes to natural abilities. He has tentacles, can sprint, can leap, breaks everything with ease, has a viral injection and, of course, has his famous weaponry that could or could not be apart of his power. Maybe as a one time use ordeal, not sure but, I've seen some people saying he doesn't make sense story/lore wise and well, I disagree. We've seen BHVR take killers from iconic franchises before and mold both their own lore and the franchises lore to fit into DBD. Both ST and Silent Hill are the prime and top examples so they could very easily say that, when the Entity takes Nemesis, she "reprograms" him to not just hunt for S.T.A.R.S members but everyone he gets his sights onto. Plus, even if they do stick with S.T.A.R.S angle, he had zero problems in the game with killing anyone or anything that got in his way of completing his mission so, he'd likely just do the same in the Entity's realm. I'll quickly go over Mr. X, I could also very likely see him because he's right behind Nemesis in terms of popularity and could even follow the same story structure as Nemesis could. He just sadly doesn't have anywhere near the toybox Nemey does when it comes to power potential. His main thing is... he's durable and breaks things easily. Like I said though, I could totally see him joining on just popularity alone.
One last thing I'll quickly touch upon is Jack Baker for the killers. I loved Jack in RE7, he was a very fun character and tragic at the same time. Plus, he could also have some fun and unique power abilities as well coming from possibly using the molded in some way but, I'm sorry, I just personally can't see them adding Jack. Now, don't get me wrong, he's pretty iconic in his own right but he just simply isn't as popular as the likes of Nemesis or Mr. X and, ultimately, I just feel like BHVR is going to want to honor and pull from the roots and origins of the franchise as much as they possibly can. Plus, looking at it from a business perspective, both Capcom and BHVR, they probably want this DLC to sell as much as possible and it will no matter but, still, I know some would buy this DLC if they see Nemesis or Mr. X alone but, sadly, I've seen quite a few people say they wouldn't if they saw Jack Baker or any newer content from the recent RE games simply because, well, they're not from the old games. I know that, apparently, RE7 is the most sold in the franchise but, for some, popularity will NEVER beat legacy. However, if the internet has taught me anything, we're honestly the vocal minority then the silent majority. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I just hope a few.... individuals, don't see this section of my post! xD Cough cough @ClamorVentus, @Dabihwow and @QwQw cough! lol
Maps, well, I gotta just kinda agree with what everyone has been saying. I think they'll probably pull from either RE1 or RE2 for this one. The four big options being the Spencer Mansion, The Arklay Mountains, The Raccoon City Police Department or even The Raccoon City streets or sewers. They both seem like both the most likely options and the most wanted options from both fanbases.
Sorry for the essay, I've been wanting and waiting for this chapter since I started playing DBD and I've saved up a LOT to say about it like I said, ultimately, I'm just thrilled it's now a reality and I'll be happy with whatever they bring about in this chapter. If I had my say though, my survivor picks would be Leon and Jill and Nemesis as the killer with the map being well any of the four major picks.
I don't disagree with what you're saying I do think Nemesis will come in but that's another thing I'm scared about hi coming in, you mentioned legacy. for that, I do agree Nemesis left a legacy however I'm scared Bhvr won't hold up to the legacy he made for himself, even in his newer appearances he doesn't "hold up to his legacy.", Nemesis even has a bigger of a legacy than PH, but then again he's outclassed by Myers and Leatherface. I'm scared they are gonna have him strong for a while then nerf him, leaving both DbD players, and RE fans disappointed.
But if with Re chapter is going to happen, and I've said this a billion times IT should be both fans of the old and New. Hell, they could add two killers, RE is that damn big. In a way, I only played RE 7 and I would kinda feel robbed if they add the RE chapter, and having nothing to do with 7, and I'm not talking about Jack not being the Killer, no I'm talking about not having a mere mention of RE 7 with the RE chapter, no cosmetics, no charms, nothing. To describe how it would feel, it would feel like a middle finger for me not being born during the time of the classics, or even playing the remakes, or for just playing a specific RE game that I enjoy over the others, I actually talked to some very RE fans and not name shaming but they flew off the ######### handle at me for not playing the classics or even the Remakes due to budget reasons, I told them I played RE 7 and... let's just say a lot of drama.
I just want a license that included a game that I've played and enjoyed to be added in DBD for a long time. I just want one, just one chapter that features a game or franchise I love and enjoy to have some inclusion in another Game I love.
