Folks'd be complaining about how broken it'd be in seconds, but it'd be cool if done right.
Take a lot of trial and error to balance effectively, and with all they've already got going on dunno if BHVR could add it to the plate.

Seems to be a server issue. Looks like it started roughly an hour and a half ago, no clue what's going on, but you guys aren't the only ones having a rough time.

They'd make getting Victor back take longer to compensate. Not worth a temporarily free Enduring imo, but I am a nub, so take it with a grain of salt...maybe if the effect was active the whole time he recharged?

I agree, but I'd just like to say that being dependent on survivor actions isn't always a bad thing.
Sometimes it really helps bridge the skill/perk gap to be able to punish players that do things reflexively and without fore-thought.

@Artick Hi, I'm inexperienced and asking for help. Aiming, unfortunately, doesn't seem to work as I get dragged off to the side. Thank you SOOO much for your informative and thoughtful response. People like you make me and other new players want to keep at it and help showcase what a beacon of human decency the DBD community is.
Any bets on how many more Git Gud/Console bads replies we can get folks?

(Cropped cause I don't know how we feel about exposing usernames here, even if they are cheating a**hats.) Agreed. It wouldn't be so bad if cr*p matchmaking like the above wasn't the norm, or if they could just stomp us respectfully and go about their day. -_- Can't win for losing as Killer, even when it's a decent match up someone always has to lay on the salt ... It's to the point where we actively have to choose between the community aspect (enabling messaging) or burning the bridge before we get burnt.

Pain, Sweat, and Toxicity. Wouldn't be as bad if mmr worked, and I really don't mind when I can actually learn something from them, but curbstomping someone new and still learning then bragging about it is just bad sportsmanship.
It's like someone in a Destroyer class ship bragging about blowing a guy in a rowboat out of the water. No sh*t you won, I have two perks to my name, enjoy the next barrel of fish. XD

Don't. It's less Blood points in a match, and they're even more pointless than usual right now with a two hook requirement. If you don't already have the Mori specific achievements you may as well just start asking survivors in game to help you out and get them in a "cheaty" way because the chances of being able to pull off the Blood on Your Face requirements naturally are astronomical.

Agreed. Been trying to learn her, it's obvious why most don't stick it out. The amount of DC's ya get when they see what you are is hilarious though. Can barely blink correctly but it's common for a survivor to nope the heck out. ^_^

Always imagined a mimic killer working on a roullette system, it becomes a random survivor or a chest and the power doesn't start cooldown until you break your cover.
SWF would counter it to some degree, but they'd either have to cluster up and be easy prey or sacrifice themselves for a win thanks to the random factor.
So long as you plan your approach and have an average move speed by the time they confirm it's a baddie it'd be too late. <3

To be fair, it doesn't make sense for Wraith to be hunting down the survivors in either of his lore entries, unless they're tied to the mafia somehow... :p
It'd be cool to have emotes to play around with, but I don't know how we'd implement them when ninety nine percent of the time the survivors are running away. :)

Iron grasp or Agitation for my fourth slot, got all the speed i need for the chase, just gotta put em where I want them asap when its done so I can get moving on to the next go around. :)

M'not in red ranks, but given what I've seen and heard from this end one to two is the norm now to counter quick gen play. Apparently ya'll are too good at it and it's necessary to have a fighting chance. :)

It's not too much, and I'm not sorry, if it's trying to eat and help kill me, getting punting is the MINIMUM it deserves.
Why are so many of ya'll on board to protect a murderous hellspawn out of context just because it looks like a child and so eager to forget that THE DAMNED THING IS TRYING TO KILL YOU IN THE GAME.
Even if you can pass that argument by, I assure you, no babies were harmed in the making of this VIDEO GAME, and that the ones and zeroes that constitute Victor don't feel one way or the other on the matter.
Next time, please actually use the ESRB ratings to decide what's suitable for your and others enjoyment, it's there to help you avoid such subject matter that your pallette may not be able to handle.
Or go live under a damned rock in the middle of the woods, though I'm sure you can find SOMETHING to make hooplah about out there, the rest of us won't have to hear about the bark being the wrong brown or how graphic a bear eating a fish is.

Sure they don't have any hope... and of course they'd learn far more competing against superior opponents within their realistic skill threshold... and maybe whatever skills they do adapt are too distorted by the crying and the cowering to translate to their other matches.... and it's only natural that all that vicious pummeling would run at least a few of them off for life here... but, okay, so what?
We're forgetting something here, and it's the one thing that matters above everything else.... ITS SURE AS HELL FUN FOR ME!

The ever-present survivor handbook for killers states that if we are on the map, we must be tunneling, camping, slugging, or all of the above due to our mere presence in the game.
Best just to play as you are, on your own honor system, and let em scream into the void Quazzi, reasoning with them is rarely fruitful and you'll just drive yourself mad trying to bring yourself down to that level.

I keep getting a couple reds and purples in brown ranks...it hurts getting clowned on like that, but it isn't so bad until you get a streak of them and get forced further down the rankings, especially when they'd rather dc than die and save their items? Honor? I have no clue. Messes with the score and our temperment.

I think the numbers are skewed, as mentioned above, so you're more likely to encounter survivors behaving as such, because you interact with more of them during play, whether killer or survivor.
That said, DbD seems ta run on salt, whether it be tears of joy or frustration, it's what floats the boat.

If you enjoy quick and thoroughly engaging gameplay with your Killer while testing one's testicular fortitude go for it.
But as everyone's mentioned above, you'll need skill, and a team to back you up because as soon as a Killer notices your OoO we have a terrible tendency to go Liam Neesom on the individual.
