it would be way too much against new players imo. those are already at a disadvantage so making it easier for killer at low mmr and making Survivor harder is a way to ruin the game.
I'd just rather corrupt be buffed i don't mind taking a perk slot for it it's one of my favorite perks ir at least used to be :(.
-
No, doesn't seem so
-
would be cool to try at least for an experiment but i don't see it working really.
-
wraith can do everything while cloaked except hit Survivors why should hatch be an exception? hatch is a means to end the game when there's only one person left si whether a killer closes it by any means or a Survivor escaped it did it's purpose so in case a wraith is camping it just take the L and move on.
plus wraith has a very loud breathing so u can hear him camping it and could try to do gens.

Thr DBD ambassador Otzdarva says both of those maps are actually pretty good for most killers. And that’s pretty much what the stats bear out. Also why would they nerf survivor perks that doesn’t really decrease killrates? It seems you just don’t want survivors to have even mildly useful perks. And if that’s what you want, you should ask specifically for it. Show the world what you really are.
i am not gonna take every word otz says like a gospel he is a pretty experienced player but he doesn't get stuff right all the time and this is one of times he has been wrong.
and even if we argue that he is right it doesn't change the fact that these maps are considered unfun to play on by most of the community for obvious reasons, there's no fun in going from pallet to pallet on the game insta breaking them as killer or not looping them as a Survivor cuz most pallets don't allow you to do any fun plays.
i personally like both sides equally and argue for good changes for both sides also equally this is me being frustrated that bhvr don't learn from their mistakes.
i want gameplay changes for the Survivor side that gives them something new to do and not have problematic perks every other chapter that usually get nerfed or useless perks all together.
the Survivor side really just needs something new to do other than waiting for a new skin every 3 months.
ps :- i could think of at least 3 perk ideas for Survivors that are strong and balanced over a cup of coffee while bhvr seems to struggle doing so over months in development and we end up with stupidly broken perks like coh, dh and mft.

People think this map is killer sided?? I appreciate the advice people have given
crazy people do yes
-
but you can already bring a medkit with you for the trial, pharmacy allows you to get more when you need them.
if they made it like you're asking it seems like it would be making the perk worse.
-
really liking that this event finally has something different other than just collecting skins.
the powers you get from the invitations are really neat.

It's not surprise. Perk is not problematic, it's just fine. If devs see any issue with it, they will just nerf it. They are more brave with nerfing things lately.
So if they did not nerf MfT, data just shows perk is fine. Just deal with it.
that same data tells them maps like the game and haddonfield are ok and don't need changing cuz killers get a decent average kill rate on these maps despite their problems but that data doesn't show how miserable it is to actually play on these maps.
idk what they're waiting for exactly, to see that there's a decline in kill rates in matches with mft? cuz that's probably not gonna happen much but that doesn't mean the perk is not busted.
how did their data not tell them that dead hard was problematic when everyone and their mom complained about it yet it remained in the game for 6 years.
bhvr just don't wanna shake off their old "stats based only" balancing methods.

Made For This is something we are going to be monitoring, for right now we don't feel that it needs much change - it will continue to be monitored over the coming weeks.
what are you guys monitoring exactly? a significant drop in kill rates in matches with mft? is that what it takes to show the perk is busted and unfun to verse like dh?
dh was clearly a horribly designed perk yet it took 6 years to get nerfed do we really need to do this again?
how does pwyf get so many restrictions to it's usage ( obsession related , token based and whiffs get rid of it) plus dark theory (a small radius, only 2%, and can be deactivated by the killer) but mft is just get hit to get permanent speed boost? (not to mention that it has a strong secondary effect as well).
-
i think fnaf kids will finally get what they want this year.
as for the second chapter am assuming alien/predator or candyman
Jason is and probably always will be a legal mess so i don't see him coming ever and imo he wouldn't shine among the cast so it's probably for the better.
-
No
-
that is not a bug
-
let's not nerf any more perks cuz of stupid nurse again.
-
after the nerfs to emps there's no reason not to i think he's in a pretty good spot rn and i see him played kinda often.
still he won't be as popular as wesker, blight and huntress especially wesker since he was disabled for a bit and now everyone and their mom wants to play and get cakes on him.

If this is happening I don't trust it will do much. I do not think 0.5 seconds will make a nig enough difference, and we'll have to see how slow they become when they use it. But 4 crates per map? 1 per each survivor? If EMPs are keeping their actual radius then I believe it will still be a problem. This will solve nothing in high mmr, singularity will still be unplayable there.
I still think that the pods should be affected by an EMP lesser time, survivors often group at the gen with the affected pods and repair it fast. And before your pod goes back online and/or you get to traverse the whooole map to get to the gen in some cases, they'll have already repaired it and will be fleeing.
Conclussion, the problem again is genrush and how swf can be busted against this killer. If the EMP numbers were reduced, I believe that would make the op tool more exclussive and limited. Or if the radius is reduced, the tool would not be as op but still be useful.
the pods will be affected a lesser time, they will be 45 seconds instead of 60 i think.
-
at least he doesn't bore me to death and make me wanna reconsider my life choices i rather a weak fun killer than a strong dull one and snooze merchant neither strong nor fun.
-
i would not, exaustion perks are limited, predictable and work aroundable they're fair only problem i had was with dh and it is very fun seeing different exaustion perks every game instead when dh was the obvious choice.
mft is stupid and allows any bot to greed a few times wasting valuable time it's unfair and frustrating and is a direct counter to a lot of killer powers that require precise timing or speed (like knight guards) doctor shocks, ranged killers, m1 killers.
i have also heard this argument with dh where some said they preferred dh over sb but u know what most of the community didn't so.
also the already strong killers are not affected by this perks so only low tier ones get to suffer.
-
Survivors can have good perks that aren't absolutely busted but bhvr are very extreme with their perk design for the Survivor side. see (dh - coh - old mettle - old ds - old balanced - mft..etc)
if you're unbiased you can see how stupid this perk is, for example singularity will almost always not get value from overclock against a mft Survivor cuz the duration is too low and by the time he catches up overclock is over
another example is doc and huntress and other killers that slow themselves down when using their power. doc almost does not gain any distance on you when using shock therapy making his chase power almost useless.
knight guards can be easily outran more than they already are.
or artist which requires precise timing and prediction on crow hits but against mft crows are more easily avoidable than they are now. you can see a negative impact from mft on pretty much every killer power except the ones who are already S tier (nurse - blight - spirit).
and let's not talk about m1 killers those suffer the most.
-
first dc is one minute, i think it goes one minute - 5 minutes - 15 minutes? - one hour - 24 hour - 3 days - a week?.
-
the first one like bluehorkew said makes it a bit too easy to tunnel i think.
the second one doesn't seem useful at all unless a Survivor has balanced landing which is an already rare perk but if a Survivor jumps from a high place without it they already get staggered a lot allowing you to catch up.
the third one is pretty interesting i like it however am expecting it won't see much use as blindness is not that good of an effect.

People have been saying they are bored of the current meta and suddenly a new meta defining perk comes and nope...gotta get rid of it. Back to the boring, old meta.
I think the game has become too geared to being chase oriented so I can see why people are excited for something like MFT and how it has become a new meta perk.
there's nothing wrong with current meta it's a pretty healthy one, the current slowdowns killers have are decent but nowhere near as strong or annoying as any of their predecessors and you often see some aura/chase/other perks in killer's load outs now .
and on the Survivor side the variety of exaustion perks and in general other perks in Survivor's load outs is unprecedented.
current meta is healthy and pretty fresh it didn't even have the time to be any close to boring yet.
-
definitely a buff imo
the wipe thing doesn't matter much.
-
when did they ever promise changes to sadako?
-
there's a healthy meta and there's made for this.
movement speed should not be tampered with on either side outside of niche situations like endgame (hope) or pwyf with it's extreme conditions mft is dh in disguise it allows Survivors to get away with stuff they normally wouldn't which causes the same feeling of frustration that came from dh (to a lesser extent but still) i promise you Survivors can have good perks without being busted af but bhvr only knows extremes when it comes to Survivor perks (dh - mft - scavenger - coh..etc)
ps:- killers have no reliable anti exaustion addons or perks like people say.
almost all of them are so niche/bad.
-

Hex: Devour Hope is revealed to all survivors when almost any attack, basic or otherwise, lands. The one and only exception is Plague's Corrupt Purge, for whatever reason.
pretty sure they fixed the plauge thing also
-
the perks were already nerfed they're awful.
-
have you not been keeping up with the news lately?
both 3 gening and facecamping are being looked at and the facecamp nerf will be tested in a ptb later this year.
as for abilities and movement speed those are not a problem.
-
the game, what an awful and extremely boring map.
but hey killers can still win there so according to stats the map is ok - bhvr
also as much as haddonfield rework really made the map so much better than the ugly dumpster fire it was both visually and balance wise it still has stupid windows that need to be looked at.

First, make dream pallets basekit, alongside snares. Since they're pretty weak and limited in where you can place them, I don't think that'd be overpowered. He'd swap between them like Clown's bottles, and he'd have a shared ammo pool for them so they're still kept in check. The total ammo count could be adjusted, though.
Second, dramatically overhaul his addons. Prioritise adding in more things that only affect survivors while they're asleep, as actual map interactables; fake generators, fake totems, fake chests, even fake breakable walls if you wanna be thorough. As a rule, these objects would all disappear when the survivor attempts to interact with them, causing them to scream and inflicting different status effects based on the rarity or combination of the addons used to create them. This would serve to make Freddy more thematic, in that the dream world is under his control and he's toying with what survivors can see, as well as making him generally more interesting to verse as you would be encouraged to identify which addons he's running and/or prioritise waking up via alarm clocks or teamwork.
Beyond that, I don't think he'd need much. A few number tweaks here and there as appropriate, maybe, but the priority should be making his power more interesting instead of just trying to make it stronger.
snares are a really boring chase power i really hope he gets something other than snares or he'll just remain as boring as he is now.
I'd be willing to not give him a chase power (maybe just dream pallets) if he can get other stuff to work with.
-
they just said he's on the radar for killers who require changes or something like that.
this could take years we've already seen what happened with the promised twins rework so my hopes for this are not up at all at the moment.
as for how to change him, i personally haven't played old freddy but from what I've seen people seemed to enjoy how he could manually put you to sleep so this could be brought back with some up to date changes and he could keep stuff from his current power like the teleport.
-
anti slug only if there's two Survivors left so slugging for the 4k is less popular? sure but otherwise at any point in the game you don't deserve a free unbreakable if you or your entire team got slugged you played terribly.
-
i think after a vault you're supposed to stand still and not press anything for him to hit Survivors trying to vault back otherwise the feature won't work, this is what I've heard anyway.
-
tunneling --> you have basekit bt which guarantees you get another chance at a chase and you have ds which is also guarantees another chance at a chase if you're near a tile or a pallet this is more than enough counterplay for Survivors against tunneling nothing more can be done about it and people need to understand that.
camping ---> i agree and the devs already said they're testing a nerf to it in a ptb soon so idk why we're complaining still.
-
of all the points listed here only two or three are worth considering.
like complaining about saves, blast mine and head on is absurd and I can't take someone who complains about those seriously.
-
Survivors are definitely not in a strong spot rn everything they have keeps getting nerfed no more dh no more coh no more stupid medkits this is literally the best time to play killer as most frustrations from the Survivor side are no more.
so i really doubt it's that you go against strong Survivors and more like you're not playing killer well but can't be sure since you haven't posted gameplay.
-
there's no way they can something about all of those the nerf to facecamping is to give the guy on hook the ability to play the game they queued for and to make up for the lack of coordination on soloq Survivors part.
but in endgame the guy on hook got the ability to play the game and all Survivors have done their objective so in most of these cases the other Survivors can coordinate a save so camping is fine in that regard.
-
when someone dies ruin deactivates ruin was not cleansed hence why undying is still lit.
-
map design and camping
both really need to be addressed in the next year
a simple aura reveal on killers near hooks would go a long way to discourage camping and give Survivors a chance to work around it.
-
following.
i am also interested to know how that works.
-
yeah no.
-
i don't get it, you're standing still not making any effort to move or dodge it.
how do flashlights need a nerf because of that?? they shouldn't be able to chain blind you if you just looked up or down or away or just chased them.
flashlights are pretty easy to deal with and you really don't need "lightborn" for it but if you must then just use it and don't care what anyone says.
-
firstly there is a ton of alternatives to dead hard other exaustion perks like lithe, sprint burst and overcome are strong and provide synergy with other perks that make them stronger so dead hard being nerfed gives these perks their chance to shine.
secondly perks should be a nice bonus or should be for fun they shouldn't be too strong or too weak and there is a lot of perks on both sides that offer decent value and a ton of build variety but people seem to only look at the useless ones.
plus bhvr have promised to rework a few perks with every midchapter so hopefully we can expect more good perks with time they have honestly been doing a great job with most perks they rework.
imo tho some perks deserve to be dead cuz of how awfully designed they are and should not require any buffs an obvious case of this is dead hard tho the change didn't really kill the perk it significantly weakened it which is more generous than this perk deserves.
-
the perk has the potential to be very fun to use without any insane buffs i just want it to only work after the first injury and to not show the broken status effect so the killer is more inclined to keep you slugged it'd still be a hard mode perk without it being useless.
-
why the surprise? it was to be expected
medkits were and still are by far the strongest item in the game allowing for multiple heals at insane speeds the healing meta was absurd and needed to be toned down a bit.
-
I'll never complain about any of the current exaustion perks after the dh nerf i am finally satisfied.
-
it had heavy nerfs to a lot of Survivor's mecanics so the Survivor playerbase are expected to be unhappy.
it'll take some time for people to adapt hopefully the anniversary chapter brings back life to this game and people are happy again.

Because patch 6.7.0 shouldn't be released. It seems like the first time when both survs and killers agreed that changes are bad. But killers suffer more from this patch.
this patch is a god send for killers, i don't have to deal with dh, coh, medkits anymore all at the expense of a couple gen perks? pffffff i don't care this is literally the best time ever to play killer you are delusional if you think otherwise.
-
on the contrary i think this patch is moving the game in a very healthy way.
perks will be much more diverse on both sides yes slowdowns will probably still be the most appealing but it's healthy and manageable slowdown that is not too oppressive for the Survivors and not the same couple perks every meta had (eruption, cob - corrupt, pop - ruin undying) and am expecting chase perks to make a rise as well with the weaker slowdowns.
on the Survivor side we will see more variety on exaustion perks rather than the god forsaken E perk every game so chase perks that are also decent but more manageable and less frustrating for killers
no doubt healing perks will see a rise which is cool since no more perk and items that undo your pressure in seconds so Survivors have to actually play well or dedicate couple perks to achieve some of what coh and old medkits easily allowed.
really excited to see how it plays out with the perks we already have and will be excited for the further changes to perks in every midchapter.
