I posted a bug report on this case, if you upvote it it can be seen more easily

i dont know how its supposed to be used. here is how it typically goes when i DO bring it:
-i get on one of the highlighted gens
-killer finds me
-eventually i go down
-by the time i get unhooked i no longer have the info
-team mindlessly does gens meaning we end up in a 3 gen scenario
not saying the perks effect is bad but it feels like i never get the chance to use it
If the killer is trying to protect the 3 gen then you have to try your best to work around that. Typically I'm already using an aggressive gen repair build if I'm running deja vu which makes it more difficult for the killer to stop me.
-
You can't actually reveal ghost face unless I'm playing as him.

This perk is dog water in solo games. 5% is nothing and it's only there for 60 seconds. the info also isn't good. sure, in friend games this perk can give you good gen spread but thats not a real expectation in solo queue
You must not be using it right. Deja Vu has come in handy plenty of times for me.

I'm going to blind you
Ready or not here I come

Sounds good. I'm a fan of any event items that do something special.
-
It's a mainstay in my gen rush build.

Dead Hard

Costumes aren't cannon, but if they were it would. I honestly feel like it devalues the actual video game characters but that's just me.
-
If evil was really dead there would be no dbd
-
It's a lot better
-
I play survivor more but only because killer queue takes so long. The queues are only just now starting to become tolerable after what's seemed like months.

Buying with shards for sure. Thematically he's one of the coolest killers.

Who do you think should be the killer?,and not to mention Angela and Eddie 🤔 maybe
Aside from Walter? They could go with the incubus from 1 or the maybe Leonard Wolf from 3. If they wanted to get really creative they could try and make Alessa a manipulated killer. With SH2 being remade we could see a certain character that I will not name for spoiler reasons.

I think I never even had a corn dog?
Better than a hotdog, slightly inferior to a chili-dog.
@Coordi said:
The Korean style hot dogs where you roll them in sugar, and cover in mayo and mustard and ketchup. 😍 Or am gamja-hotdog they coat it in french fries (and still roll it in sugar).
Never had one but it sounds good.

Deathslinger. It doesn't matter what game I'm playing; I'm pants with any ranged weapon unless it's spray-n-pay. My aim is trash and I'm the kind of person who tends to sit in iron sights for 20 seconds before I feel confident enough to shoot. Obviously that doesn't work here, and Slinger has tiny hitboxes on top of that, so... yeah. No murder cowboy for me.
I'm the same with silinger. Luckily the bots will help with killers like him.

I felt the same about legion. Just play and see what happens. You'll get over that eventually.
This happened to me with Legion as well. The HUNK cosmetic is what finally got him into my regular circle.

I would like to know what everybody thinks about Dead Dawg Saloon.
For me, a survivor main, is a horrible designed map. A tiny shoebox where the RNG can screw you so much as to let the killer be able to watch 3/4 gens from the same position.
A map where every Terror radius build hits like a truck. Agi-star nurse, agi-star wesker, coulro anti healing doctor.
God i hate this map
Really not a fan of it on either side. There's just so much empty space and the structures that aren't the shed or main building feel thrown together.
-
Survivor perk: You can shove a survivor, forcing them to stumble for 2 seconds. You lose collision with other survivors for 3 seconds.
-
I've heard other people mention getting better rewards earlier in their bloodweb the higher their level is. I took it upon myself to level Cheryl to P14 after discussing it and I think I'm seeing better rewards earlier on.
-
Never thought much about it but I love the killer. He looks like a licensed character.
-
By all means let people have content they enjoy, but I'd prefer he stay out of dbd. He'd be the only killer that I'd dislike in terms of character and not gameplay.
This is the only pooh bear I'd want to see in dbd and I'd prefer he stay a charm.
-
*Tinfoil hat time*
The devs are going to implement it exactly the way it was or with very little alterations. The only reason they're holding off is because they didn't want to impact Halloween and Christmas sales.

Not a fan, but at least the Princess Heart cosmetic looks like an actual cosplay and not Feng stealing Cheryl's clothes.

Shaun of the Dead

Walking in with a meme build and loading up on this map is a near instant GG. Survivors have to make huge mistakes to lose there. I was once sent to Garden of Joy as scratched mirror Michael... not a good experience.
-
This could be interesting.
-
I'm fine with this change. Killer should always be the dominant role.
-
He got tired of DBD and observed some other games.

This thread has been very interesting to read. Thanks for the replies!

As far as I know people still facecamp a lot with Leatherface, myself havent encountered any Leatherface lately because I barely play Survivor nowadays but reading forums, reddit and generals it makes me think its still a prominent thing with him.
I wonder what mmr dictates this. I imagine that the higher you are the more you see it.
-
@fake said:
Is the idea that a higher MMR will lead to playing against a correspondingly better advanced Bubba with no campings a frightening one?
I am the lowest of the low mmr at this point. I will quite literally kill myself for the last survivors hooked during end game.
-
@Seraphor said:
I literally faced a facecamping Bubba yesterday.
That's so odd to me because I haven't faced one in months. I'm not trying to meme or anything. Every Bubba I have met in the last year has not face camped at all.
-
btw if I"m playing Bubba, I face camp for the meme. It is hilarious to me.

I wouldn't call it a band-aid fix, but just a change to the frame-perfect execution of before. As Peanits has said, you don't extend the blind or stun, just have the tiniest bit of leeway with the execution. Even in DS i-frames could very, depending on the loadout and ring-choices, between 8 and 15 frames, so fiddling a bit with this number seems totally ok. I just experienced one or two real flashlight saves this month, so its not happening that often and I get it that it feels very frustrating if you bring a flashlight into the trial, but don't ever get the timing right.
To be totally clear my main issue with it stems from the picking up animation being made without flashlight stuns in mind.
-
Pigs will sooner fly, but I hope you're on to something.

It not and awkward mechanic, it's a game changing mechanic that if done correctly resumes a chase when it should have ended with a hooked survivor. Something like this should always be perfect timing like a parry from Dark souls, making it easier (wich btw is not hard at all) its completely unnecesary.
It looks incredibly awkward and should have a total overhaul to the picking up animation to give more visual clarity. In other words the animation somehow negating flashlight blinds and pallet stuns does not translate well at all. They recognized this and gave flashlights a non-frame perfect window which is a band-aid at best.
-
It needed to happen. The frame perfect blind was an awkward mechanic and the "buff" they applied is basically a band-aid fix to make it less awkward.
-
Sorry but it's Halloween and I only play cool characters.
-
Convert survivor offerings in to zoom juice. I can't get enough of that stuff.

I don't understand. CJ is a gimmick that only works on less experienced killers. For every killer that knows what is about to happen, it's a free hit. Was it totally screwed by some update? Or what are you trying to say?
What I mean is that, from a game design stand point, cj tec shouldn't be a thing. The killer wants to break the pallet, but is forced to pick up which gives the other survivor an advantage that shouldn't exist. I know that it's not a big deal, but were flashlight saves from locker really a bigger issue?
-
I'm surprised they're addressing locker saves before something like CJ tec. You would think that players having the freedom to perform their desired action would outrank a locker flashlight save. Same thing goes for those double locker plays where the killer is forced to open the wrong one because the survivor jumped out immediately.
