I haven't played today but yesterday was mostly chill. Tons of killer variety and my teams were good enough.
-
I'll take one Cybil pfp please
-
The devs have mentioned wanting to work on Twins at some point. I'm not sure if they're next in line but if they are we'll have to wait for some Pyramid changes.
-
A solid gold statue of Ace on the main menu.
-
Making basement stronger was a good move imo.

Pinhead
- Hex: Haunted Grounds
- Hex: Devour Hope
- Hex: Undying
- Hex: Pentimento
pretty fun build for me. For one, they are already distracted by my box and chain hunt all game. If Haunted Grounds pops, then they can’t do my box or I’ll just teleport and down them easily. Devour Hope incase they decide to not do totems, then uh-oh, everyone scrambles and starts popping everything because I’m now one-shotting healthy survivors and anybody who does my box is again getting downed immediately. Undying will extend/save Devour Hope just long enough to hit 3 hooks or will double my use of Hex Haunted Grounds, assuming it’s not found first.
No matter how they start going, it still benefits me because of Pentimento and I can either lean on Devour for the hard win or lean on Pentimento for the slowdown and work for the win. Obviously the strongest counter is Boons, but I’ve yet to have a game where this Hex Build gave me absolutely zero value. Also if chain hunt starts they can’t easily cleanse/boon totems so…it’s always a flip for them hub working my box (while exposed) or staying safe and letting chain hunt starting, now being unable to do totems, which helps keep my Pentimento hexes safe and possibly also my Devour.
Do little things like hide box or decrease chain hunt timer and the survivors are honestly too busy running around to do gens and when they find the time it’s usually with a 30% slowdown.

Im not saying I dont lose games or it’s a perfect build, but I think Hex Builds synergy with Pinhead is pretty nice.
This is a really smart build. I'm going to steal it when i finally get around to playing Pinhead.
-
It's perfect for stealth builds.
-
We'll be getting offline matches with bots "soon tm".
-
It's too bad we can't get stacks for taking protection hits now. This rework would have been perfect for it.
-
Harry is a no neck chump
-
I think all nurse mains should be strung up by their gills and forced to breath air.
But that's just me.

Nah. Unless I'm doing some very gimmick-y build, I prefer not to use any Hex perks. It's way too RNG-based for me. If your totem gets cleansed within the first 30 seconds of the game, you've basically just wasted a perk slot.
This is how I view it. Really not my cup of tea tbh.

The only Killer where I run Hex-Perks is Bubba with Plaything and Pentimento. Other than that, sometimes I run a full Hex-Build on Nurse (Ruin, Undying, Haunted Grounds, Retribution), which can be fun, but I am too used to Shadowborn on her.
Other than that, since I started playing, I never cared for Hex-Perks. I dont want to bother with a Totem on top of defending 5 Generators.
I admit that full hex builds can be fun.
Pentimento is kind of the odd one out when it comes to hex perks. I haven't used it myself (yet) but I assume you can get guaranteed value out of it.

I run devour hope occasionally since it can win you the game easily if it’s in the right location. Otherwise most hexes are too weak
Devour is a hex perk that I often want to run, but it has the same issues as I listed in the op. I wish they'd do something similar to noed, like the hex would only be placed onto a totem after everyone is exposed or something.
-
The event started right when I hit burn out but I'm somehow enjoying myself again.
-
- Fix the zombies
- Add-on pass for Nem + Pyramid
- Clear indication of Michael tombstone along with the inability to 99% with tombstone
- Flash bang bug fixes
- Allow players to assign specified actions to a dedicated button (Let me pick someone up without fear of vaulting the window)
- Give survivors more emotes (There's an item here, no one is coming to save me, etc)
- Personal fog and darkness settings for those of us who want an immersed experience
- Let characters speak
- Get the real voices for licensed characters
- Chase music for all licensed characters
-
The PTB will be here Tuesday.
The devs just mentioned Wednesday on their livestream.
-
Idk it seems a little too strong in certain situations. The killer would roll anyone who's injured nearby and get an easy snowball.

Whenever I play killer I always have a weak spot for the survivors I main myself (Felix/Leon), and therefore cannot kill them. Well, unless they're absolutely toxic players.
I'm wondering if anyone else has this as well? If so, who is it that you cannot kill?
Cheryls.
Doesn't matter who's skin she's wearing.

Look, when you get The Game as Legion, there's probably just not a lot your skill's gonna be good for.
But yeah, I don't really know if protesting maps by maining nurse or going facecamp Bubba is gonna help much.
"I sacrificed your lives for you, and this is the thanks I get?"

It honestly sucks that I have to legitimately wonder if this is real. Thanks DbD forums.
Mostly joking. I just really dislike that build.

OK starstruck nurse I can understand, but other than that? Can't blame em.
TBH it's hard to blame someone after a bad game.
-
I can and I will.
Anyone who runs starstruck nurse is a pathetic loser and deserves to be messed with. You don't want to play DBD and just want a win in anything you can get your pathetic hands on. I genuinely think you should be banned from any online game to ever exist. It's not about you winning a game but rather you want to ruin someone else's good time. You are as small as the universe is big.
-
I was prepared to make an lmao funny response until I realised that wasn't two seconds.
-
Can you people please stop using Otz to prove your points? Have some self respect for your own game knowledge.
-
Now increase that stun duration by 2 seconds and then get back to me.
-
I feel like undetectable only really works with new players on indoor maps. It's worth noting that anyone wearing headphones can hear his chainsaw which defeats the purpose of it imo. Meanwhile the headstart you get with M&A is a bit situational but can payoff from time to time.
-
IMO Lisa looks way off and Pyramid Head is on steroids. I don't think anyone other than Clair looks terrible though.
-
May as well no longer be a hex at this point. Killer can have a weaker ruin for as long as they want until they kill a survivor which sounds fair to me.
-
I really need to see the rework in action before I can judge it.
-
Probably because James and Cheryl are modeled after their VAs. IDK what's going on with Cybil and Lisa though. The difference is night and day for the whole SH crew.
-
No way.
I was going to level everyone up to 50 until one of the devs mentioned that all unlocked teachable perks will be available to all survivors/killers.
-
I agree that many of these changes are good for solo queue. TBH I think the game is going to be a lot more enjoyable for both sides.
-
Or better yet make the bbq and wglf stacks base kit.
-
Michael and Nemesis ended up being my personal favs. I say try Michael if you don't want to deal with body blockers.
-
The survivors deserved it. I've come to learn that everyone hates you if you're playing Bubba.

I'm probably going to use SC/BK/Overcome/rotate through changed perks in 4th slot as my ptb build.
I recommend desperate measures with that build. Will be more important than ever with the Thanatophobia buff.
-
I play a ton of solo surv and I'm very excited for this update. Some of my builds have been buffed and my "never use slowdown perks" attitude on killer is being rewarded. I think I'm going to be enjoying the game much more now.
I just hope they don't kill pharmacy.

If they nerfed Self Care this hard they will no doubt nerf CoH again in the future because nobody who is interested in ever escaping again will run the new Self Care.
We'll see. I think the idea behind the nerf is that SC depletes med-kit consumption and allows you to heal anywhere at anytime. Meanwhile CoH can be snuffed out or outright prevented by your teammates. I've gone whole matches without being able to light a single totem simply because I couldn't find one.
Don't take this the wrong way. I've had plenty of powerless moments as killer when going up against CoH SWF teams. I just think this is part of the devs reasoning for nerfing SC. Seems like they'd rather you dedicate to a healing build over getting a free heal with no downside.
-
When I'm playing survivor it's exclusively solo queue. With that said I never use self care and very rarely use spine chill.
IMO med-kit + built to last and stand alone CoH are both much better than self care. SC is a great perk but I don't feel the need to use it anymore.
-
@Peanits said:
They'll continue to work, and you'll even receive the tier 1 versions of the perks on your other characters automatically.
This is great news!
-
Here's some food for thought. What if the player with the endurance status lacked collision with the killer for the duration of the effect? No more body blocking at exit gate and no more holding the survivor in a corner until it wears off.
-
Seems like it's because self care can be used anywhere at any time. The killer always has an inkling to where a boon is located and can paint a decent enough picture of where survivors will run off to based on that. Also it seems like self care was intended to be used with botany knowledge and med-kits.
-
They went too hard on Iron Will. The effect being nullified when exhausted was more than enough.
-
@Bardon said:
So I can understand the reduction in Ruin's effect to a degree, though I think they went a bit overboard.
However it's that last sentence that kills it for me:
"After a Survivor is killed, Hex: Ruin will automatically deactivate."
That drastically reduces Ruin's effectiveness - to be honest why would anyone take it given that your Hex will be automatically destroyed after killing the first survivor? That's a far heavier nerf than the change in rates.
Seems totally fair to me. It's a strong enough perk as is and can be downright oppressive at 4 gens with 3 survivors.
-
I imagine it has something to do with new players. The amount of perks in this game is overwhelming to say the least. I remember going up against rancor when I first started and you better believe I was very confused and upset.
-
I'm fine with the change tbh. I'll have more fun playing as Michael and GF now than I ever did using Spine Chill.

Considering the change to this perk i think it's safe to assume this stuff does stack. Also this actually means survivors you unhook can be 121% faster xD
Wow! Somehow I missed that part of the rework. The game is going to be very interesting after this next update.
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Is stacking the speed boost what they intended? I honestly thought they just completely forgot about the perk but it would be very good if it stacks
We'll have to wait and see. If they really want to do something about tunneling then I see no harm in allowing it to stack.

If other scourge hooks don't effect the basement hooks then I will be very disappointed.
