They should buff some obsession perks tbh.
Furtive chase could use another effect.
Dying light could use a buff.
Play with your food could use a small buff to not lose stacks on a missed attack.
Pebble could use a cooldown reduction and less time in killer's presence to activate.

Farm maps and Swamp majority of today. -,-
-
Only if the gen is over 50% i guess, but that seems a waste of D strike if more than one gen up. I will tunnel anyone who constantly flashlights me whether picking someone up or breaking a pallet, It's like you're asking for it tbh.
-
Surveillance for mid game and Discordance for early are pretty awesome for gen information. Generally head towards the gen opposite your spawn and 7/10 you'll find someone.
-
Surveillance is pretty much my go to for my killer's for mid game, especially with ruin on my Executioner. I also like Discordance for the start of the game, so i can get the best possible start for executioner and clown.
So usually run something like Surveillance / Ruin / Discordance / Infectious Fright for Pyramid head
For Clown it's Surveillance / Pop / Dying Light or STBTL / Discordance- with Mangled addon

I've had 3 survivor with friends matches in a row today,This one being the most annoying one though, assuming because of rank reset. So i'll just list the things that pissed me off in that one match.
- Nearly everyone is a 360 spin god, which on console is rather impressive but incredibly annoying. Not sure if they turn up sensitivity or not but i certainly can't do it reliably every time, even with fiddling with sensitivity on ps4 settings.
- Flashlight clicking and doing emotes while following me around while i'm chasing someone else who is injured.
- Flashlight saves at every angle, majority i was facing the wall and they still got most.
- At this point i'm super pissed, so i aimed to just slug and let the timer's run out as much as i can, since they body block on way to and on the hook, flashlighted if i picked up, or straight up sabo.
- So i slugged one after the other with save the best till last and infectious, after one fell i chased the other, not letting them pick up the downed survivor, Was a long match of back and fourth, but i ran all their timer's out in the end. They only did 3 gen's, which tbh i think they were just screwing around with me majority of time.
- After game, i got a message saying i was toxic and an unfun killer... Everyone loves to bully the clown :(

i like this idea and it gives a lot for the killer to use. which is always nice since some killers need more than just four perks in order to play at their maximum potential. my only problem is that it gives maybe to much to the killer. like for instance not only do you know the location of the gen that the obsession is working on but once you kick that gen you know the location of not only the obsession but any survivors within 32 meters of the obsession. giving the killer lots of information that might just let the killer win with that fact alone. i feel like the perk needs number reduction and a cool down in order to be fair for survivors so this is how i would twist it to make it seem less op.
Don't touch what you can't afford
you become obsessed with a survivor, after your obsession spends longer then 9/8/7 seconds or more on a gen the gen becomes highlighted in yellow for the killer, kicking the gen will cause the gen to regress by 15% instantly, after the kicking action is over the obsessions aura is revealed for 5 seconds, during this time any survivors within a 16/20/24 meter range of the obsession become oblivious. don't touch what you can't afford has a cool-down of 50/40/30 seconds
there can only be one obsession at a time
just to be clear i like your idea and don't mean to shut it down or to seem negative to your ideas im just expressing concerns and giving visuals to sum up what i think can be a good addition to your idea
I like that too haha, and yeah i agree that's better and more fair. Given most obsession perks requirement for the obsession to stay alive majority of the game, they should be a little more powerful than the average perk.
-
Executioner i use;
Infectious fright - I find it helpful if i need to hook or cage and start another chase asap.
Surveillance - I run this on practically all my killer's
Ruin - Very good if in a good spot, especially paired with surveillance
and the 4th i usually toss it up between Tremors / Deathbound.
Clown i use;
Save best till last - I quite like it on him
Pop - standard
Dying light - Only recently started using this and it seems decent.
and surveillance - Gen info.
-
I'd like a new Gen obsession perk tbh.
Don't touch what you can't afford - perk name i guess.
' You become obsessed with a survivor, when your obsession spends 9/8/7 seconds or more repairing a single generator, the generator becomes highlighted in yellow for the killer, kicking the generator grants 25% instant regression, after kicking the generator, anyone within the obsession's radius of 15/25/32m screams revealing their location for 5 seconds, you're granted undetectable for 20 seconds.' Regression does not stack with Pop.
I think this'll help other underplayed perks too, like furtive chase and nemesis.
So imagine a build like DTWUCA/Furtive chase/surveillance/Infectious Fright for example.
-
- Spirit passive phasing , I would make it an addon
- Freddie's passive dream state, on hit already puts into dream world.
- Iri hatchets
-
Should probably hide the names of these players, but yeah good job.

I think it looks like it might be pretty damn good. Or am I the only one?
Certainly better than Executioner's perk now...which tbh they might as well change it because of this. Turn it into an obsession perk or something; 'Gain a 5/15/25% instant regression on a generator that your obsession was working on after you kick it' Generator is highlighted in yellow for the killer after an obsession spends 8 seconds on a generator, perk activates after 8 seconds. Does not stack with Pop.

Tbh i only cage if:
- I've downed someone and there's a team mate in the area, i will cage and chase the other. That's 2 people off gens for the time being. Seeing as i run infectious fright and deathbound, i'll utilise it.
- For their second hook phase if they have torment on, so they can't suicide instantly.
- Mini mori if and only near or during endgame to catch up if need be.
At least that's how i play him, so it won't hurt my games.
-
I suppose the new killer might make some use for it.
-
Spinechill / Detective Hunch / Inner strength / Iron Will - Will swap out Det hunch for soul guard when released.
Infectious fright / Pop / Distressing / Surveillance is what i use on Plague and clown. With Executioner i'll probably use Surveillance /Hex ruin / Deathbound / Infectious fright or swap out one of the screams for save the best for last depending on what works better.
-
Still think the killer should be able to place it himself once per match.
-
I assume being caged/hooked removes it, you can somewhat avoid it too by crouching over his trenches.
-
I'm thinking Infectious Fright / Ruin / Surveillance / Save the best for last / Sloppy / Deathbound as options for me, seeing as Pop,BBQ and on hook perks don't work with cages, so opting for a build that is always almost utilised fully. Perhaps swap ruin out for overcharge / surge if ruin is cleansed early on in majority of matches.
-
@NeaMainNON_TOXIC3 said:
I love Cheryl's perks! I honestly can't wait for her.
Also I feel like Pyramid Head needs a tweak or two. Otherwise he's fine. I'd like if you could remove the tormented status effect somehow.
You can avoid by crouching through it, just with the hag's traps. It's also removed when hooked/saved. I think he's already fine as is if he chooses to cage, he loses out on hook perks like Pop, devour hope, Hook obsession perks as the trade off. So i'd probably run Infectious fright, Surveillance, ruin, Save the best for last / sloppy / Deathbound depending if the power ability counts towards the first two perks.
-
I think should just be consoles, Mouse and keyboard players will just outclass controllers with 360's non stop.
-
@Peanits said:
If I recall correctly (but please try it for yourself just to be safe), sending someone to a cage does not activate hook perks. You'll have to decide if you want to immediately send them to a cage or carry them to a hook to activate your hook perks.
They do, however, mix and match. If you hook someone once and send them to the cage the next time, then the next time you down them it'll count as them being on death hook and allow you to use the mini-mori if they have torment.
What about devour hope?
-
Finally a killer that is unique in terms of ability and playstyle. He sure looks fun to play in comparison to other franchise killers. That map looks cool too, but i bet it's hard to navigate it.
-
I'd rather lose the distant ones as plague, so tend to try and keep them closer to stack pressure and infection uptime.
-
I think a difference for face hugger eggs could be area denial, place an egg at a location, while placed it acts as a sentry so to speak, given you aura reading potential with survivors in range of it, if survivors stay in range of the egg, say 15 meters for 10 seconds they get face hugged. They can break the egg but face a difficult skill check, if fail they get a mechanic system like pig. In either scenario i see it as useful. Then perhaps a movement ability, a short 6 second on all fours charge, if connects it applies deep wounds and mangled on hit
As for perks well, acidic blood should be one to spray aoe blood on stun coating a damaging substance on pallets/lockers, also consumes flashlight by dissolving it. Another perk to see any rushed action as a nod to xenomorph relying on hearing than actually seeing.
-
I imagine an alien mori would be pretty awesome.
As for perks i think an aura reading one would be cool, afaik the xenomorph is blind/poor vision and relies on loud noises, so maybe any rushed action reveals the survivor aura for 3/5/7 seconds.
2nd being acidic blood, any stun from a pallet, locker or flashlight, instantly breaks the locker, coats the pallet in a damaging acid for the rest of the game, consumes the flashlight.
3rd, probably a hex, one that protects other totems until this one is cleansed.
-
Survivors that teabag and blind at every pallet. Then they complain when they get focused.
-
Freddy, Personally believe passive dream is too much, he should physically put them there, or at least passively only one survivor at a time, not all 4.
Hillbilly, Insta downs are always kinda iffy, but his having no CD or an additional requirement is bizarre. I'd prefer if he kept his mobility , but instead of insta down it places a mangled and deep wounds.
-
Furtive chase, just a bad perk in general. Perhaps buff it to place oblivious on everyone but the unhooker for 1 mins. Unhooker gets debuffed by exposed for 30 seconds.
Diversion, convert to exhaustion perk, instead of a pebble, a decoy of yourself runs to an area, can vault pallets / windows for 5/6/7 seconds. Think of a bit like mirage from apex. Can not be used while killer has vision of you. I think this would make it more useful, while also being more viable and offer strategic play.
-
I'd prefer a Xenomorph anyway.
-
Was looking for devour hope totem, found it, started cleansing it, killer was within TR, other survivor throws a pebble in my direction and runs away, i get insta killed.
-
6 - People feeding leatherface campers by trying to unhook when he's nearby. Literally lost a match in 2-3 minutes because 2 of them went to unhook and all 3 went down in 2 seconds.
-
Can't say i play trapper much but from the times i have, i rarely bother trapping gens or hooks anymore, dependant on map ofc. Instead i usually trap the strong loops, in middle of pallets covered by grass and killer shack window. The Boat is pretty decent to trap on the swamp for example, as well as the strong windows there.
-
That's not camping, real camping is leatherface's hook staring or insidious basement lurking.
-
Mori yes,Keys yes, Noed no, You can already disable it before it's in play.
-
Another idea for a new clown active ability, one to hopefully apply more map/gen pressure.
Something like 'Jack-in-the-box'. 'Place a trap on a Gen,Totem or Chest, Any interaction with either will spring the Jack-in-the-box which causes the survivor to scream and reveal their aura for 5 seconds, they also gain the oblivious status for 30 seconds.' 4 Charges,1 replenished after it triggers after 45 seconds.
New addons for this could be, springing the trap on a Generator causes the generator to emit your tonic for 10 seconds, springing the trap on a totem causes that totem to be invulnerable for 15 seconds, springing the trap on a chest consumes the chest item.
Slight buff to his tonic throw too, making a direct hit on a survivor with a bottle, prevents interactions for 2 seconds and refunds 1 bottle.

The only reason I pick Small Game is because I got use to using it when Hex Ruin was in it's old state and it would take to long to finish a gen. Small Game would let me run through and find totems and hope to break Hex fast. =)
Well both are good, but i just prefer Detective's hunch, Especially if Devour hope or huntress hex is in play, then it can be dealt with swiftly. Also find it helps with indoor maps like Game, with totems appearing on bottom and upper floor.
-
I prefer Detective's hunch over small game, Complete a gen and it shows you usually multiple totems within like 60+ meters give or take or so. If you happen to have a map too, the totems get added to it.
-
I think with clown his addon that causes exposed should be baseline on direct hit, new active ability 'Jack-in-the-box' tag any chest/totem/generator, any interaction with Chest/totem/generator springs the jack-in-the-box and causes the survivor to yell, showing their aura for 5 seconds and causing the oblivious status for 30 seconds. 3 charges, replenish after 1 springs.

Face camping as Leatherface is a relaxing game. If he’s doing that it may be a chill game after some tougher try hard games.
Sometimes I think about doing this when I see Dwights in a lobby. He’s the last face I need :3
Are you one of those Basement insidious perk leatherface's? Then you owe me a new pair of pants. :P

There's no penalty to bloodpoints for camping a hooked survivor. They also may be doing it as they're new or just being a jerk. Face camping is sadly a strategy that is not bannable unless you find it's the same guy doing it to you in multiple matches. I'd say just don't get caught or play killer for shorter queues.
Maybe new to leatherface possibly, but the last guy who played was a Rank 12 Killer. I'm not condemning it, i'm just thinking you'd earn a lot more points actually trying to play rather than just sit at the hook with the 1 survivor.
While minority of killer characters do this, i find the chance is higher while versus leatherface for some reason.
-
I think a 'Doctor Doom' inspired cosmetic would be pretty cool, cape an all. Maybe add steampunk elements to it for the doctor.
-
I'd rather they just re-did deep wounds to be more useful. Maybe preventing interacting with anything until mended.
-
I understand this is a joke but still, i wanna post this :P
I'd quite like a Xenomorph killer Queen or just a normal one.
Something like Ability one - Sentry egg, can place up to five, cannot be destroyed or re-positioned. Place an egg in a location, any survivor in proximity of the egg will have their aura shown for3seconds. Any survivor in proximity of an egg for longer than 10 seconds attracts a Facehugger , if the facehugger stays attached for longer than 45 seconds, it plants a chestburster, after 2 minutes it emerges, also prevents being able to leave via the exit gates.New item-Blowtorch,can only be found onmap in random locations, only 3spawns per map, limited charges, used to safely remove facehuggers, which fear heat sources. My thinking of this ability was to give information to the killer, while also acting as a natural area denial/ Gen slow down.
Tail swipe - Run on all fours for 3 seconds, gaining a moderate speed increase, making contact with a survivor trips them, enabling them to be picked up.
Perks,
Acidic blood - being hit by a pallet or locker stun sprays acidic blood that dissolves that pallet or locker over 2 seconds
Snatch - Extends the grab timer on windows and pallets using your long limbs.
Acute hearing - You've become adept at honing your senses, every 20-30 seconds the nearest survivor aura is shown to you for 2 seconds. Negates survivors already hooked.
Addons
Decrease facehugger attached time by 5 seconds per rarity, max 30.
Facehugger reveals survivor aura until removed or duration ends.
Increases Egg radius by 3/5/8 metres
Reduced tail swipe cooldown and applies mangled
Basement automatically spawns 3 eggs there, in addition to your 5, - Ultra rare
Refills your empty egg after a facehugger has emerged - Ultra rare.
No need to describe the mori.
Ripley as the survivor.
