He even isn't top 5 killers. He doesn't need any nerfs.

You could make a solid case for Freddy being better than Huntress or being #5.

I respectfully disagree. In my opinion hag compared to huntress is like comparing a sword to a shotgun. Hag is strictly worse but sometimes better.

If you think Hag is worse than Huntress then you're smoking something pretty good. The best Huntress player, Umbra said Hag is better than Huntress. This is general knowledge.

You should see my Huntress and then make your conclusions. You all forget she has the highest skill ceiling.

Huntress is hurt by maps. Umbra which is like the best Huntress, D/C'd on Haddonfield. Hag is good on any map.

  • Solo queue does suck in general because survivors are so random but in terms of killer, at red ranks you need to learn how to loop. Stealthing will only get you but so far. Slugging at red ranks is also quite common. But yeah my best advice is to learn how to loop and pay attention to what red rank survivors and killers do then try to adapt accordingly.

  • Yes. If you 4K but only got 4 hooks and you camped those hooks, you'll depip in red rank. But if you get 10 hooks and only manage 2 kills? You pip. The game will reward hooks more so than just kills, if you aren't camping. Camping isn't a strategy and the game doesn't promote it, it's why you lose points for camping hooks unless someone is there. Also, if you mori people you are less likely to pip. Hooks are more important than kills!

It is by definition a strategy.

Whether it's a good strategy or not is debatable, but it is most definitely a strategy. You don't have to have a "strategic mind" to use a strategy.

The simple fact that people have to constantly reaffirm camping being a strategy goes to show that it really isn't. Camping is instinctive for people because either they are afraid or aren't confident in their ability in games.

  • @Mochan said:

    It's a strategy.

And in most cases, it's a good strategy that works. As others have mentioned, punishing camping doesn't really work and isn't satisfying for that matter.

Just because it's a sign of a bad killer, doesn't mean it's not a strategy.

It's not a strategy and it doesn't take any skill. I'm starting to see why 80% of the killers on the forums cry about gens. Because instead of gen protecting and applying pressure, they're too busy proxy camping (which the game will deduct points unless someone else is nearby.) And too worried about kills. Focus on protecting gens, applying pressure and HOOKS and the kills will come. Too many put the cart before the horse - I'm really tempted to make an advanced killer guide. And camping is mainly why playing in brown and green ranks is so horrible and is an elo hell. It's unhealthy for the game and unfun for survivors.

Camping is not a sign that someone is strategic or thoughtful, the only thing it communicates is that you aren't confident in your ability to track or you simply are bad. Camping is a stable in most games and I highly doubt most good players will call it strategic. Let's sit in one general area and look around, so skilled and strategic.

  • @Steve0333 said:

You can pip as killer if you only kill one survivor, but you pretty much have to hook every other survivor twice. Just saying you don't have to play perfectly as killer to pip. And it's pretty easy to safety pip as killer. At least when I play Freddy I almost always at least safety pip. If you are camping or using moris or instadowns it's going to be a lot harder. If you play them straight it's usually not that hard unless everyone on the team is pretty optimal and you struggle to down anyone.

Thank you. I keep telling people this, as killer focus on hooks not kills. If you 2 hook everyone and get one kill you can black pip in red ranks and pip in any other rank.

  • The measurement of a good killer isn't by kills, but by hooks. Camping isn't a strategy and it's cute you think that it is. Camping in any game just indicates that someone is bad and perhaps afraid. The game rewards more hooks opposed to more kills and the game actually punishes you for camping hooks, fyi. You literally lose piping points or experience. If you wanna occupy survivors time and get them off gens then play a good killer and apply pressure, slug, etc.

  • Tier list.

    SS: Nurse

    S: Spirit, Billy, Hag.

    A: Huntress, Freddy.

B: Plague, Ghost face, Myers, Demogorgon.

I see very few players say/keep saying this, yet I still haven't come across a good nurse and I end each season in red ranks.... from sensitivity not allowing her to turn freely like shes supposed to, lag spikes and frame rate drops shes a nightmare to play and learn.... not really the gaming experience you want players have.

Message/add xJacobIV and Prettyproduct then ask to see their Nurse gameplay or play against them personally. Jacob has a nasty red rank Nurse and Product is also solid at Nurse. I've seen a few other great Nurses on console but I don't know them or have them added. Frames, sensitivity, etc do affect Nurse on console but it just makes her harder to master/learn. I've played a few games as Nurse and it's not too difficult going through walls and adjusting - it just takes time to learn. She's still just as devastating on console. The frame drops aren't even that bad on Nurse, I personally don't play her because her design just doesn't interest me.

Console meta is very different than the PC killer tier lists I see. I’m a red rank survivor and see billies, Freddies, and huntresses. Then I would see the occasional Myers, ghostface, or plague. I’ve only seen rank 20 nurses on console because playing her is actual torture

The meta from PC to console isn't different by any means. That doesn't even make sense, we have the same patch. The only difference is framing and some sensitivity but that only affects Nurse out of the entire game. I don't see how that would make Spirit, Billy, Hag, Huntress or Freddy any different. Even with Nurse she's more than playable, I've been playing this game for two years. If you haven't seen a good Nurse in red rank then perhaps you haven't played enough.

The meta is very much the same, survivors still gen rush and prioritize gens over healing. Rank 1's don't run self care for the most part unless they are solo queue or bad. Tier lists are gonna vary person to person regardless of platform but Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Hag, Huntress and Freddy which are the best 6 shouldn't be changed. Besides, what you see isn't always an indication of how good they are. Hag is 4th best, yet on PC and console you rarely ever see her.

Some ps4 players have the POV since the optimization on console is so terrible that it hinders the performance of nurse... I sometimes go months without seeing nurse and almost 100% of the time either 4 people escape or she ends up camping out 1kill....

The optimization on PS4 isn't that bad, some framing is off and you'll have a bit of sensitivity issues but that's it. I've played Nurse a few good times and she's more than playable on PS4. I can even direct you to some great red rank Nurse players.

The meta isn't any different from PC to console. I've been playing PS4 for well over a year now and top console players are aware that Nurse is the best, Spirit second, Billy third, etc. Idk why the tier lists would be any different. That doesn't even make sense, we have the same patch - the only difference is frames and perhaps sensitivity which only really makes a difference for nurse, literally the only character where that matters in the whole game. I've seen a few red rank nurses that don't run ruin and slug for wins. You can learn Nurse on console, idk what this misconception is that you can't. She just takes a little longer. If you haven't seen red rank nurses or spirits then you haven't played enough.

Tier lists are gonna vary perosn by person but the top 6 killers should never be changed. There is no difference in PC to console meta, period. Survivors still gen rush and prioritize it over anything else, rank 1 survivors hardly run self care unless they are a bad bunch. Nurse, Spirit, Billy, Hag, Huntress and Freddy are still the top 6.

Guys I really tried and took my time with this, please don’t be so mean. I understand you all have different opinions but for some people it’s a little rude.

PS4 meta is completely different from PC.

PS4 meta is the same as PC. Please stop spreading the misinformation. He probably isn't red rank which is okay, but in no way is Myers top tier on PS4 or Xbox. Platform literally only matters for Nurse but she's still the best, it just takes a little longer to master her on console but once you do same effect.

  • Myers is probably the most overrated killer. S tier? Oh lord. Myers is probably like B tier. High B tier on a good day.

  • @Groxiverde said:

You guys have to remember he is talking about console, not PC. Huntress is horrible on console and Myers seems OP because not so many people have headphones compared to PC and Myers is sneaky as #########. The meta is different on PS4/XOne.

No. I play on PS4 and absolutely not, the tier list for PC to PS4 and likely Xbox is exactly the same. This just isn't a red rank player or they haven't experienced enough yet.

  • DS isn't the best perk. If anything Adrenaline is, the whole gen rush meta and no healing is mostly based around it for 4 man SWF at red ranks. It's literally a big leg the whole gen rush meta stands on. DS is a strong perk, one of the best but isn't broken. It just stops tunneling and you from getting absolutely stomped. But to each their own, I'm not gonna keep going back and forth over DS. It's not going anywhere so it's best to learn to play around it. No amount of threads or complaining will get it changed. Devs have much bigger things on their plate.

  • @MegMain98 said:

Agreed...Viable killers (in my opinion) against a strong competent SWF group are Nurse, Spirit, Hag, and Billy. Every other killer can EASILY get stomped. Even Hag and Billy’s viability goes down a little. Spirit and Nurse just don’t care what group they are against.

Huntress is good, no doubt...but all maps are terrible for her and she has almost zero map control. Freddy is way better than he was before, still can’t compete with the top tier killers though. I love Plague and think she can do really well but I can get stomped by a good group with her.

Also, I dunno why people complain about players using meta perks. If course they’re gonna use DS, Balanced Landing, Adrenaline, and Iron Will. Just the same as killers will use Ruin, BBQ, Enduring, and Spirit Fury (the basic ######### build). Both sides can do stupidly powerful things. A lot of players forget that Prayer Beads, Omega Blink, Iridescent Head, and Ebony Moris exist.

In short...DS shouldn’t be an issue.

Agreed. I think all those killer addons you mentioned and insta saw Billy should either go or be nerfed. I think Prayer beads Spirit, multi blink Nurse or an Iri head Huntress is far more problematic than current DS. It's really not that big of a deal in my opinion. I face strong red ranks all the time with all 4 running DS and I hardly get hit by it, and even if I do it doesn't cost me the game or a kill unless it's endgame with gates opened. People just blow things out of proportion - and let's also talk about the fact that solo queue is awful.

Nah..I've tried both ways and lacking iron will is not an instant down..foolish thinking

Lacking Iron will is 95% an instadown in a chase unless you aren't using headphones but any good Spirit main will tell you that you should be using headphones. Even if you stealth, I can hear you loud as day. There's nothing you can do without it. If you aren't running IW in a chase against Spirit and don't die shortly after then she's messing up.

  • As a rank 1 killer and survivor solo queue is absolute hell. As a killer(Hag and Spirit main) I 3K-4K 70% of the time unless it's against a strong SWF and even then I usually hold my own. Then playing survivor you get horrible teammates - all these killer mains keep saying rank 1 is hard, etc but it honestly only is if you're going up against a competent SWF which doesn't happen as often as they would like to think or you're using an unviable killer.

  • @immortalls96 said:

You dont even require a perk to vs her..its a misconception spelled out by players who dont take the time to vs her..now iron will, qaq, and similar perks make her much easier but your no more required to run anything vs her than you are vs trapper..she is however a fantastic killer that shifts up the chase instead of the same boring routine

As a great Spirit, you need IW to vs her. If you don't then you are screwed.

You are definitely right, it would be a pretty bad idea to do that. That's why ideally you should never put yourself in that situation to begin with by not chasing someone off the hook. But if you choose to, you are going to get hit by the perks made to counter that. You're touching the stove and expecting it not to be hot at that point.

Thank you, this is basically what I was telling other people.

Hag mains get ALL the kisses! I love Ms. Wood Witch ❤️

Spirit is a nightmare to face if they have good headphones. I have Turtle Beach headphones and I can clearly hear which direction they are running. Even with Iron Will it isn’t hard because I can hear the footsteps.

More counterplay is all people want. They don’t wanna feel like they lost the dice roll. Outplaying your opponent is one of the most rewarding parts of the game. The Spirit never really outplays anyone and survivors never have a chance to against a Spirit.

Prayer Beads are another league of stupidity. I dunno if I hate PB or Iridescent Head more.

Woot, woot.😘💞 You play on PS4 right? What's your PSN? And yeah, I use arctis pro headsets. It's so good that I can hear survivors breathing if they just finished running. Spirit just needs more counterplay and is a monster in solo queue. Iri head and prayer beads need to go. I know some people that insta D/C against Spirit. Which Turtle beaches do you have also?

You’re welcome by the way 😘

    Damn, where's my kiss?

In all seriousness though, a Spirit with great headphones is honestly a nightmare with very little counterplay. I play her a great deal along with Hag at red ranks (rank 1) and I regularly 4K with her with fair ease. If you aren't a strong SWF group then you're #########. I think solo queue should be buffed to be on par with SWF then we'll see how strong she is. Perhaps they could just add a bit more counterplay and nerf prayer beads.

  • Because new Freddy is great. #5 or #6 best killer now.

If you as a survivor pick your moments to set off hag traps while she'll rather not bother changing targets then she becomes less able to devastate teams.

It takes time for her to re set up traps and it forces her into making a choice of downing the Survivor she's chasing or changing targets to the one setting off her traps repeatedly.

Against a swf who each set off her traps I feel she can easily be overwhelmed in a way not many killers are.

I also feel like those who rate the hag highly are the most defensive towards a killer. A successful hag relies on you setting off traps at convenient moments in order to catch you off guard. If she cannot do that she's in a little trouble.

If you're playing Hag and you aren't switching targets between traps being set off then you aren't playing her right. Her traps are her pressure, injuring multiple people in short time spans(juggling) works wonders for her. Once again, idk why people think you're gonna set 10 of her traps off either in a short time span or without her punishing you for it. You likely won't even know where they are. Most people are gonna be on gens opposed to trying to get rid of traps.

110 movement speed, m1, add on dependent, hard countered by flashlights and urban, and good survs have counterplay against her setting off traps when they know she doesnt want to use them (close to finishing another chase / picking up a survivor / etc)

Not saying she is bad by any means, but she is B+ tier behind the big three and Freddy and Huntress for sure.

You do realize that Spirit and Nurse aren't 115% right? 110% is a non factor. Flashlights are a soft counter unless all 4 survivors have it, same with Urban. Flashlights don't scare me as Hag nor does Urban because it's not helping you in a chase for the most part. OoO is scarier. Most survivors aren't gonna know where your traps are, idk why people think you pick up a survivor and the other 3 survivors are gonna magically know where all 10 of your traps are and set them all off within like a 3 second time window lol. If you've ever played a good Hag you'd know there is actually very little counterplay against her.

Hag is by no means behind Freddy and Huntress, even the best Huntress player Umbra agrees Hag is better. Huntress and Freddy can have bad maps. There is no bad map for Hag. Infact she can deal with Haddonfield and other strong survivor maps better than Freddy and Huntress. Huntress is waayy too map dependant and cannot apply good pressure on 40% of maps, maybe 50%. Hag is 4th best and there's ton of misconception being spread about her.

  • @AshleyWB said:

The thing which holds hag back is how Survivors can watch what she does and sabotage her whole set up when she's busy doing something else. She's a little slow so traps are the thing which she relies on to make the type of plays other killers can't. Survivors with a good eye and idea of what the hag is doing can really make it a tough game.

When hags dominate it's usually down to impatience poor awareness and clumsy plays from Survivors in my experience. She is a very decent killer in the right hands.

How are survivors gonna watch her setup? She's incredibly small and with M&A you won't know where she is half of the time. The only time you can sabotage Hag's traps is when she picks someone up, that is a very small window and you have to know where her traps are. You must've never played a good Hag.

Hag is amazing and has the best juggling potential in the game since her ability has no cooldown and gives her insane map presence, she can turn god pallets and loops that are typically very safe into a free hit most of the time or forcing the survivor to run away entirely. With Hag you can also adapt to how survivors play, you can make good survivor maps bad for them if you trap key areas and pallets. I usually dominate at rank 1 with Hag. Her biggest downside is needing some setup time but that's not even a big issue, Hag is easily 4th best killer.

  • I don't see OoO often at red ranks. It hurts stealthy/trapping killers a lot though and can be gamebreaking for them. An object user will ######### their pants if the killer turns out to be Nurse, Spirit or Billy though.

  • Lerys is a fantastic map for stealth killers, sometimes you can get bad RNG with pallets but for scratched mirror myers and ghostface, this map is great. You can get a gengrab on most gens with both killers. Myers at base it just depends on the pallet spawns. Most people don't like Lery's though, survivors and killers.

Welp, you can do it in less of a condescending and dismissive way then. All I saw was "your little numbers mean nothing cause I'm Red Rank and know things you don't." Just work on your tone man. I personally don't care anymore. Man thing I see on Tru3's videos is him going "Oh she prolly has DS gotta leave her." or "Oh of course you have DS." when it does happen. I watch his stuff all the time. It's one way I learn to be better at this game. Like really, go read what you said again, and then see if your tone was "Oh I just want people to be practical." All i'm saying is 60 seconds is a long time in DBD.

Other than that, cool. I'm actually happy you are trying to get people to look at both sides to this. I don't want this thread to boil down to "REEEE" from both sides like most do. BHVR needs constructive and decent feedback. Not just screeching.

I apologize if it came across a certain way, it's just a lot of killer mains put a lot of nonsense out there and whine about things that aren't very problematic. But see True is just respecting the perk, he leaves/slugs them which is basically what I was saying which is ironic you'd point that out. You don't have to prioritize or eat a DS to win. And he doesn't go "DS is too strong. This is insane" etc. Now it's a good perk but this thread is blowing it way out of proportion.

Cool man, just ignore every little thing I said. I'm done trying to speak reason in this forum. All you wanna do is praise yourself and tell everyone else to shove it.

Go watch red rank killers play and tell me how often DS is used on the regular and if it wins the survivors the game. You cannot crawl across a map in 60 seconds. Unbreakable and Flip flop are niche' and gimmick builds at best and unbreakable is a one time use. I just want people to be practical is all I'm saying, don't take it personal.

  • As a Hag main, a great Hag is one of the scariest things in the game. Her 110% doesn't matter, Nurse, Spirit, Huntress don't move at 115% and they are considered some of the best killers.

If you run away from a strong pallet because I trapped it then good, it's perfect if you run away from a strong loop to a mindgameable one. She turns strong loops into questionable ones which is great. Flashlights are overrated against her, personally OoO is harder to deal with. Flashlights are only a problem if literally the whole team is running it. Object only helps the person in question, not the whole team.

Hag also has some of the best pressure and best juggle potential, with decent mind games. She's great. I'd say she is a solid #4.

Congrats on the near perfect games at Red Ranks :)

But I'm not, I'm drawing from average experiences for red rank killers. Go watch streams, and I doubt that guy gets DS'd 3 times in one game on the usual. Thanks also. : ) I had two perfect games there.

Sorry, but according to @Corrupted, "If you get DS'd 3 times in one game, you're either playing killer very unoptimally or you're tunneling."

Since you only ate 2 DS in less than a minute, you are clearly not tunneling!

    Nice try!

It's about patterns. Just because a perk looked strong in one or very few instances doesn't mean it's too overbearing or needs adjusting. If you're slugging and 3 people get up due to unbreakeable then what, is that perk too strong now? Or if you get head on'd by 4 people in a game during a chase on different occssions? Head on is OP now??? This sort of stuff is the outlier/exception not the rule. Anything can look strong in given a few select/rare situations. Getting DS'd 3-4 times is one of those. At red rank you should not be getting DS'd that much consistently.

  • @UlvenDagoth said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/668988#Comment_668988

Did I SAY 3 times? I said, 60 seconds is too long. Since you don't believe me, have some numbers that have been confirmed.

1 Survivor1.0 c/s | 100 %1.0 c/s 80 seconds <- This is that one guy you don't wanna bother with cause of DS, doing almost a whole gen by himself. Never mind the 28 seconds if 4 people do it without toolboxes. (Which BTW, is ridiculous.)

The cleansing action takes 14 seconds to complete by default and resets if the Survivor interrupts it. <- Say good bye to those totems!

Exit Gates take 20 seconds to open <- Look at that! I'm just annoyed how low that is!

"Just Slug Them" Isn't enough of an answer. They jump in a locker then you have to eat that #########. 60 seconds is a LONG LONG time in DBD. Even if you slug them, look at the numbers I put and see that 60 seconds is a LONG time. Heaven forbid they have Unbreakable or something so if you slug they just pop up and STILL have Time.

(Sadly there arnt numbers for how long that takes, but its not 60 fricken seconds)

If you wish to continue, can you give some proof that your method works?

Slugging them is enough of an answer. I consistantly play at red ranks and I hardly ever get hit by it, my screenshots are proof of it. 3 or more people run DS but I'm 3 and 4K'ing with near perfect games never getting hit by it. Don't just take it from me, I watch red rank streamers like Truetalent, Scott, Umbra, etc and they are hardly hit by DS and if they are it's once rarely twice. Even when they are, It's mostly not gamechanging. It's not worth nerfing or complaining about.

If you aren't getting hit with DS 3 times a game or often in games in general then what on earth is the point of whining? How is slugging not a viable option? Most survivors that have DS won't make it to a locker in time especially if they're playing reckless. 60 seconds isn't too long, you can not crawl across the map in 60 seconds lmao. There's plenty of times I've slugged someone with DS and been slugged with DS and the timer in endgame and the timer went out. As a rank 1 survivor I got paired with a rank 9 killer the other day and other green ranks but he knew to slug me. He waited the timer out and 3K'd. A friggin rank 9 Wraith knows this.

So, Unbreakable, Flip Flop and DS. They're running 3 or 2 of the perks for an antislug build. Unbreakable and Flip flop are hardly used at higher tiers, they are by no means meta and if someone uses them then the person is lacking a lot of essentials in their build for an antislug build that will probably work once out of 12 games??? What are even the odds of someone using two or three of those perks?? Honestly I shouldn't be reading most of these posts in their entirety because it's filled with nonsense. "You can crawl across the map in 60 seconds." LOL. Your numbers are cute, but in most games DS won't be the endall be all unless they are by a gate so your numbers are honestly irrelevant. At this point you want it to be absolutely useless. DS is likely to never be changed again and it's here to stay, so get over it and slug. And that's the bottom line.

I'm sorry but the argument of play nurse or screw yourself is terrible.

You should have the freedom to play whatever kill you want without feeling like you have to go above and beyond.

I didn't say just Nurse, there are 5 other viable killers you can play and do well with. And sorry but that's not how gaming works at high tiers, in most games (CoD, Overwatch, Evolve, etc) you use the best perks, killer, guns, etc in competitive envirements to win or the best things at your disposal to win which is called meta. Meta's shift depending on patches and not everything will be equally viable.

I'm sorry but every killer in this game will NEVER be equally viable against red rank swfs on every map. Balance in a game will rarely if ever reach 100% perfect balance, and if it does then it will be in the very distant future. That's just a pill most are gonna have to swallow.

I almost don't believe anyone saying they are a red rank killer and saying DS is fine. Maybe if they are playing the OP killers like spirit/nurse where it literally doesn't matter because you can afford to eat them and just down the survivor again anyways 20 seconds later. But it's pretty crippling to eat a random DS like 50 seconds after an unhook if you are playing a killer who has to put in work for your downs; especially at red ranks where the games can be like 4-5m long and you are on some lousy map like blood lodge and not using the crutch of spirit fury.

5 minute games and each survivor is supposed to be untouchable for 2 minutes of that? Give me a break.

If you're in red ranks using unviable killers, that's more so the issue opposed to DS being the issue in itself. If you're playing a strong, red rank SWF and using Trapper well no duh it's a problem. Against strong SWFs you need to be using top 5/6 ish killers. Great players require great killers to deal with them. And games don't end in 5 mins unless you have absolutely no gen pressure or you're playing a bad killer.

"Good chance you are tunneling." Do you realize how LONG 60 seconds is in this game?

If you get DS'd 3 times in one game, you're either playing killer very unoptimally or you're tunneling, period. But once again, just slug.

Do you mean the bit where I'm consistently accused of being a survivor main despite being in the top 500 killers? LUL.

Yea, I always get a chuckle out of people who dismiss me because I'm a "survivor main" as if that's a bad thing? and then dismiss me when I prove I'm not a survivor main.

People just can't handle having someone that plays killer more than them disagree with them.

Top 500 killers? How do you check that?

  • Hm interesting. This is gonna be so strong late game, 32 seconds is long but maybe it won't be bothersome if you don't camp? I just can't shake the feeling that this is gonna be abused very hard.

  • It'll depend on the rank you're at. For red rank/top tier players It's

1)Nurse- Ignores vaults and pallets. Amazing chase potential and map pressure. She's literally only limited by the person playing her.

2)Spirit- Great chase potential and great map pressure. Arguably the best mindgames in the whole game, is borderline broken if you have great headphones and doesn't have much counterplay.

3)Billy-Insane map pressure, can instadown survivors, decent mindgames with chainsaws at pallets and certain vaults.

4)Hag-Great chase potential and insane map pressure/prescence given the survivors run into your traps. She has one of the best juggling potential.

5)Huntress or Freddy but I'm starting to think Freddy may be better.

    1. Nurse

C'mon its nurse. I don't need to explain

    2. Hillbilly

High mobility, chase potential, one shot potential. His chase potential is basically him being able to catch up, instantly down survivors reducing half the chase time if successfully done so, and being able to do tricks such as curving and faking a pallet chainsaw breaks.

    3. Spirit

    Chase potential, high mobility

The only thing that would stop her from being number 2 is her ability. It's basically all about mindgames which is basically a hard punishment if you fail to mindgame and a free hit if you succeed in your mindgame. She can move around the map fast but that drains her power which billy can do but much better without a drawback with an instant down. The only thing spirit does better than billy is chasing but billy doesn't fall too far behind. That doesn't mean she is weak though. Being able to move around the map and have insane chase potential is crazy. Her add ons can make her almost as strong as nurse if she is equipped with prayer beads.

I can still see an argument for both billy and spirit though and honestly, spirit is be better if billy has a bad map

4 and 5 can be switched between these killers

    Huntress

She's able to throw hatchets 5 times before having to refill them. Upon a hit she can injure or even down a survivor. Nothing else really needs to be said. She can down survivors across the map with a lucky hit, get hits which otherwise aren't possible with other killers. The only drawbacks are mid to high walls, loops without a giant straight wall for her to use her hatchets on, her movement speed, and refilling after a few throws.

    Myers

He has a lot of things going for him.

his main drawbacks are loops and time to stalk and tier 1

Tier 2 he has chase potential. A 16m radius making chases start closer than they usually do, a slightly faster vault speed, and a slightly more dimmed red stain.

    And finally tier 3

A huge lunge with an instant down, an insanely fast vault speed for a limited time.

The main reason why he's up here is because his insane lethality and snowball potential.

    and Freddy

His snares are crazy, he can spam them on a loop making survivors slow which can give him a free hit, they can also be used for tracking. You can place them on totems, gates, and other areas. He can also teleport to a generator for map pressure. His main draw back is his power only working on those who are alseep and his teleportation only working when the cooldown timer is finished.

You're kidding right? Hag and Freddy are noticeably above Myers. Myers is not #5 for sure.

Yeah, it was actual point of all arguments opposing OP. "It's not an anti-tunneling perk, it's a hook immunity for 60 seconds". Though you seem to disagree about something with me, you admit that one big thing about it.

Actually no, they said it was killer immunity. I'm telling them it's hook immunity, big difference. Apparently people just don't know what slugging is.

    @Hoodied said:

Yes, the survivor that is running right at me without noticing me, that means I am tunneling so I get hit by DS for not tunneling

Oh the survivor spamming vaults after being hooked, lemme down yo- OOOH you have DS

This perk is not anti-tunnel it mostly saves you from making a mistake or for wanting attention

DH is the same way, they run at you and all of a sudden they dodge your hit. Are you gonna complain about DH too? Point being DS is easy to read if they're running at you and doing silly things at higher ranks. So either slug or ignore them. It's not as costly as you think it is.

The whole reason why this thread getting bigger and bigger is people saying "this perk works only if you chase people with DS" and opposing side telling "problem with DS that it works not only when you chase people with DS". And yet there you are, again telling us "just don't tunnel 4head". That's why I said read the thread.

I have read the thread but a lot of the arguments for DS simply aren't valid. A DS'er is unhooking someone? Just slug them. If they're on a gen? Slug them. If they're by super safe pallets or a locker then just chase someone else. Let them do super risky nonsense and get downed/punished for it. DS isn't killer immunity, it's hook immunity.

I have played plenty of killer games at red rank and I 3-4K'd and didn't get DS'd when they all had it. I've also played ton of survivor games where my DS was a waste of a perk slot because the killer just slugged me or didn't chase me after unhook. I don't understand why this is hard to comprehend. If you find yourself getting DS'd a lot, then chances are you're tunneling. The only valid argument is it's a safe escape endgame, but it's only the case if you get hooked by a gate.

I have read the thread and a lot of the arguments are simply not valid. If you see someone with DS on a gen then just down them and leave them. If you see them doing stupid/awfully risky ######### then just down them or ignore them if they're by super safe pallets. If a DS'er is unhooking then don't grab but just down them. I don't understand why this is hard to comprehend??

If they have time to go into a locker then just leave them be. You do not have to chase a DS'er or make them a priority. You do not have to eat a DS to apply pressure. I have played plenty of killer games in red ranks where everyone ran DS and I didn't get DS'd once with 3 or 4K. I have played plenty of survior games where I didn't get to DS because killer just kept me slugged. It's not killer immunity, it's hook immunity

The only valid argument is it's a safe escape endgame but that's only the case if they are hooked by a gate. If you find yourself getting DS'd a lot and losing as killer, there is a good chance you're tunneling.
