Although I would love to play with your version of Lightweight, Resilience combined with Iron Will and Spine Chill we have to admit it would be broken.
If nobody left scratch marks outside a chase (your version of Lightweight) and made no grunts of pain (Iron Will) you'd NEED minutes to find them if they just keep sprinting away whenever Spine Chill warned them resulting in up to 4 survivors with 18% action-/repair speed buffs.
Also if they got healed up they could just take the hit in a chase and run away in a perfectly straight line which often ENDS the chase mechanic which would disable scratch marks (Lightweight) so you would lose them everytime they're able to take a hit.

Some I really liked: Distortion (Been wanting this exact change for a while. Bonus points if the teammates nearby get the Distortion icon on their HUD.), Any Means Necessary (Perfect and natural addition), Boil Over (A hefty buff that's still very counterable and that rewards killers for being observant. Love it!), Adrenaline (I love the idea of Adrenaline not ignoring exhaustion. That said, I would actually remove the delayed sprint and additional sprint time and just straight up say that Adrenaline will not activate while exhausted. That way you have to treat it like an actual exhaustion perk and it doesn't synergize well with other exhaustion perks. It also might give killer perks like Blood Echo a bit more relevance.)
Some I really didn't: OoO (it would be absolutely terrible), No Mither (it would be absolutely terrible), Mettle of Man (it would encourage people to hoard all of the unhooks and it would also be absolutely terrible: hard to activate and it's likely that you wouldn't need the effect once it does activate), Breakdown (it would be useless in solo queue and would only have a chance to be useful in specific situations with coordinated effort by a SWF), Camaraderie (it would be useless; you shouldn't be attempting to Kobe when the killer is nearby, especially when it's only a 40% max chance of success; and, if you're going to luck stack to make this worthwhile, you might as well just use a perk like Slippery Meat that isn't useless when the killer doesn't camp).
Edit: Also, I see your disclaimer, but I think Lightweight would be really OP.
thx for the feedback but i should've been more specific on why lightweight won't be op, when you spawn as a survivor you will start running to find a gen, and that running leaves scratch marks that lightweight will prevent, but the killer is so far so you can run as much as you want without the need of even using lightweight, and you have to use spine chill and iron will AND resillience, basically you need an entire build to squeeze it's value, and since the chase mechanic is kinda clunky a chase might break cuz the survivor went too far but you can still pinpoint their location, you can see them go into a jungle gym or whatever, or you could run stbfl to help prevent a chase from breaking, or even stridor to nullify iron will, just because the scratch marks don't exist doesn't mean the survivor doesn't exist either, you're gonna have to improve your tracking if this ever becomes meta, ofc all of this is hypothetical, and we cant really test if this actually is op or not, hell people thought breakout would be abuseable in a swf but in the end it was meh so all of this is gonna need testing. oh and that stealth build i mentioned earlier can easily be countered by static blast.
EDIT: Tweaked lightweight a bit

The only survivors who really want this deleted are people who can’t play without pallets
yeah imagine using pallets, lemme just pull my AK-47 and defend myself instead of using pallets

You know what requires no skill to play as well? Survivor.
So you’re saying that a meg dropping every pallet she sees has the same skill level of people like ayrun considering “survivor has no skill” which means everyone is in the same skill level?
-
Any good generic killer build will work for him, however save the best for last is an extreme must cuz it has the best synergy ever with his power, and also no matter how many demo guides you watch you'll never learn properly how to shred without using it yourself, but don't be too reckless with it as it can completely lose you a chase or possibly a game

I know. I wasn't sure if I should post this or not, but I am kinda glad I did.
I guess I just wanted to get a feel for "is this really what killer mains have to sit through all the time"? I usually play survivor because killer can be very intense.
i play a lot of killer and i don't have to sit through this everyday, yes freddy can be very annoying to go against but there's this godsend button that closes the chat box that made my life as a killer way easier, you should try it as well
-
you didn't really have to open an entire discussion just to tell us what someone said to u in the end game chat since this survivor behaviour (not pun intended if u even considered it one) is fairly common
-
i completely agree with what you say, if camping and tunneling weren't a problem i would love to run fun gimmick perks like for the people and any means necessary but unfortunately these 2 aren't gonna save me from a facecamping noed legion

Their are 5 survivor meta perks and 1 and a half killer meta perks.
DS, BT, unbreakable, self care, and adrenaline all offer gamebreaking advantages.
The 1 and 1/2 killer meta perks are NOED, and BBQ (aura read+ points mainly, but more points means more OP addons).
Yeah im down for overall nerfs id say.
I’m sorry, did you forget about corrupt, pop goes the weasel, discordance, thrilling tremors?

Why wouldn't I? I am one of those killers who can get looped quite easily. I may be able to counter it, but I only can do it in 50-60% of all cases. Then I get t-bagged, flashlight-spammed, etc in every second round. On PTB I won't lose my Mories on the main server. I can use them all, mori those toxic survs and still have my moris when PTB is over. As you have nothing really to lose, you can play as you want, camp, tunnel, etc, whatever you want to do to the survs that troll you. Ofc some also do that in the live servers, but I can only talk for myself
the whole point of the ptb is test how strong the killer is, moris will give you kills but not because of the killer's power. and if you suck at killer then go play survivor to test how strong the killer is.

well i mean there WAS old files of a killer called the teacher with a ruler as his power icon

I'm sorry to hear you're upset with the game. Here: have some Zarina cosmetics. Jk, I'm just messing with you. I agree with you about the devs and bugs. They either don't know or don't care about what they're doing. I don't which is worse.
we need more karen cosmetics for zarina tbh

Cruel Limits: Once a generator is repaired, ALL vault locations will be blocked by the entity for 10/15/20 seconds
-
i love u for mentioning this video
-
Here are some few tips i got:
Pay attention to the survivor's item (if they have one), if they're running to a window and you see their item disappear it means they are 100% vaulting and cannot cancel the vault, use this to your advantage and dedicate yourself to the shred attack cuz you know for a fact they will vault the window.
Run stbfl, and when you see the obsession use your shred attack to hit them so that you don't waste stacks, but be careful not to miss the shred cuz this can result in the obsession escaping which wastes a lot more of your time, if you see any other survivor just use an m1 attack, unless they force you to use shred cuz they're about to vault or about to get to get to a pallet.. etc
Don't waste too much time placing portals, 3 or 4 portals will do, and always keep 1 portal in your pocket for emergency. since demo cannot pick portals back unless survivors seal them. and make sure to place them near generators.
when you hook a survivor in the basement make sure to place the portal on top of the basement stairs, so that you can cut off survivors faster, cuz if you place the portal deep in the basement survivors can easily just run past it before you get there.
Also you should watch these great demo guides:

Can someone explain me what Is VPN?
Virtual Private Network, basically it allows killers to play against survivors from another country, doing so will slow down the killer's wifi giving them hits that shouldn't be possible with low ping

The locking makes some sense but giving infinite off the addons and the perks maxed for free might mess up their info. If everyones just running the best addons and perk combos they cant find out the changes on their own. Imagine if michael got a change to like tier 1 and infinite addons was a thing so everyone just runs permanent tier 3. We get no info on tier 1s buff because the addons just get ran instead.
your logic can also be used to say that giving them 1 perk slot with a tier 1 teachable perk might mess up their info since the killer is not in their full potential, also that myers example is too specific, why specifically tier 1 since most ppl who play myers will want to get out of tier 1, (jumpscare myers excluded) i'm saying that they should unlock all add ons and perks for a completely new killer or a full killer overhual, not a tier 1 myers change
-
@supersonic853 said:
They answered this they dont want you playing plague if shes free if theres no changes on her like right now clown and pyramid head got changes so they are free so they can get info on the changes they dont want everyone playing others with no changes and just using the ptb as a free everything.
then lock every killer except for clown and executioner, and give both of them access to all perks tier 3 and all add ons
-
replace open handed with off the record and we gucci
-
yes with extra ketchup
-
many people think that the devs actually implemented cross play in the game but it's still underdevelopment and not ready to be published, and since it exists hackers are able to access it but it's just a theory which i really hope is true cuz i would really look forward for cross play and cross progression but i doubt it's allowed

Thanatophobia is a nice perk for legion, so i recommend leveling the nurse

i thought ghostface was just a legion cosmetic.. oops
-
or just reduce the skill check size
-
Reduce the skill check size
-
just change the noise that plays to something less loud
-
Myers, you can buy oni with shards later but you can't buy big boy myers with shards
-
noed is the only real second chance perk but god forbid you toxic baby killer run this perk, even though they run 4x what you run it still doesn't matter
-
The Doctor emits a global sound cue when charging static blast, use this info to your advantage
-
yes please that would be way better
-
hmm i think that he is good but easiest definetly not, because you have to precisely time your shock to get the stun and i'm certain freddy is far easier and stronger to use
-
Demogorgon ;<
-
i just hate how they can easily ditch loops while the killer is mindgaming himself at the jungle gym while the survivor is long gone, like you can hear a healthy survivor running by their breathing but injured survivors with iron will literally make no noise, only footsteps which are covered by the chase music, but generally it isn't overpowered, just a strong perk
-

It might not be his terror radius you're noticing. He's got a base 24m radius, and it's fairly normal. It'll have the heartbeat and everything.
It might seem weird for a few reasons:
- If they're using Monitor & Abuse, that'll bring them down to 16m. Chases start at 12m, so there's not much room between being in their terror radius and being in chase. It might ramp up really quickly.
- He also has add-ons that change his terror radius when aiming down sights.
Do either of those sound like what's happening?
it's not about how big his terror radius is, it's about the actual music that plays.. it just sounds so dull and doesn't intensify, a hag can run monitor and abuse and you can still tell how close she is by the terror radius music that gets more intense the closer she is
-
yeah his terror radius is weird, he becomes a stealth killer with monitor and abuse, it doesn't intensify at all..

That's....really farfetched and insane.
You tag someone and reel them in for a guaranteed hit.
Demo charges in a straight line then loses distance recovering.
it's not farfetched when you think inside the box, i'm saying that you won't get a hit 100% of the time when you shoot a survivor cuz they can break the chain or someone else can come and break the chain so you won't always get rewarded because you can get cucked by map design like indoor maps where the chains can easily break, he lacks map pressure and he moves at 110%.
@Accullla said:
It's not. Deathslinger is a killer who has very small terror radius who has the ability to sneak up on survivors who don't know he's even there. You can literally harpoon someone off a gen before they even have time to react to your terror radius. His power is a bit tricky to use in chases, because if you aim for too long the survivor will be able to put an object between the two of you and if you quickscope you have a higher chance of missing your attack, but that's where practice comes into play. He plays and feels very different to any other killer in the game.
the only reason he can do that is because of his weird ass terror radius that barely intensifies when he gets close to you, and i doubt that's even intended tbh
-
all i saw was some bloodpoint changes for using his power
-
wait the roadmap is already over?
-
i think it's so that you can't fake it, pretend to kick a pallet, then cancel it and out position the survivor and if the survivor really wants to make sure they're breaking the pallet then they will be losing precious distance
-
Ormond as a killer, i just hate how this map has a lot of safe pallets in the main building and a lot of strong tiles connected to each other like a long pallet loop with a long wall jungle gym right next to each other and they all connect to the killer shack
and as survivor nothing really
-
Well statistically, hag and freddy are the most lethal killers
-
Survivors running this perk think they’re tough #########, wow sweetie you are so good at this game giving the killer even more pressure than what they already have with gen speed, I seriously hate this perk
-
Hag is good at jumpscaring you in dbd, so she would probably be the best in a horror movie
