  • Either Ruin or NOED needed to go. I’ve seen so many bad players take top tier killers, best add ons, Ruin and NOED and even though they’re garbage players their builds carry them further than they should.

At least with Ruin gone it buys survivors more time to do totems.

  • As survivor I had a 3 vs 1 against a Spirit who tunneled everyone off hook and only Borrowed Time saved us. They had Ruin up for most of the game, we got a few gens done because this player was garbage but naturally its not enough to beat someone that tunnels off hook in a 3 vs 1 game. I think we had 1/2 gens left and the killer closes the hatch both doors spawn on the same wall (thanks BHVR) and I go down to NOED. So even if we got the gens done they had a backup crutch.

This person then calls me a noob post game and makes it a point to ramble on about how ez I was, about how bad I am, how much I suck and how great they are.

Toxic ***** exist no matter what. They obviously have IRL issues, or maybe they’re just bad and get ripped on all the time so they try to take it out on everyone else.

Survivors get told they’re “ez” too or if you win its always “genrushing” even though the gens went quite slow. You get that in games where the killer tries to tunnel one person out all game. Well duh if you don’t interact with the other 3 survivors in anyway what do you think they’re going to do? There’s nothing for them to do but generators.

I don’t play to escape anymore because solo survivor sucks. I just go for WGLF stacks. I normally die at the endgame but somehow always have the most points anyway. It sucks getting put with less experienced players but hopefully one day matchmaking will be fixed. So not all survivors play to win. Hell I’ve seen plenty meme about and its infuriating when you want to escape and they aren’t doing gens.

    • Bugs, for example basement bug that happened recently. Or that bug where you interact with a pallet or vault and it freezes you’re game. There’s no point playing if you can’t defend yourself. Likewise some survivors get in the mend post glitch or stuck in locker bug which means they can’t move and one side actually needs to disconnect to end the game. I used to get stuck in trees all the time on sheltered woods.
    • Other side is exploiting/Cheating. Speed hacks, survivors getting onto places where you can’t hit them.
    • Trolling. Survivors/killers that are out to ruin your game. Farming you, bodyblocking, trying to get the killers attention on you etc. I don’t mean a one-off situation that could be bad play or accidental, I mean games where the survivors are doing nothing but trying to troll. Always remember to record these people and submit a report. I remember on the lunar new year event where I used an offering for an extra lantern, I picked one up at the start and for that a 2 man swf decided that I deserved to die so they kept vaulting next to me to get the killer over then they tried to bodyblock me so the killer could get a hit. Sadly there are people this immature in the game but at least the mod team are pretty good at handing out bans if you give them a video.
    • If another survivor or two disconnects/crashes in the early game. Game is tilted and in my opinion you shouldn’t be forced to stay in an unbalanced game. Sometimes I stay but if 2 people go early then no I’m off because not a chance I’m sitting there slugged for 3 mins while the killer looks for the other guy and then gives me a “ez ez ez noob” post game. Yes that actually happens when you play on EU servers. The game isn’t actually meant to start with 3 players and sometimes it used to end if someone disconnected within the first 10 seconds or so but now seems to carry on.

So basically points where you can not play the game properly due to either bugs, cheats, trolls or if the game isn’t working as intended.

someone already said it, but they were ignored so ill try again. please, tell us where the 20 instadowns per match on average statistic comes from?

without slugging or m1'ing, the absolute most required is 12. i cant speak for every rank here (r8 killer, r6 survivor), but i find it hard to believe that theres an average of at least 8 slugs per match. especially on billy who can already pressure more and end chases faster than most killers.

The number was an exaggeration obviously there are no real statistics.

My point was that when I face a Hillbilly 90% of his hits are instadowns with the chainsaw. This isn’t true for LF, GF, Oni, and its rare Myers would do it but if he did he would be delaying a lot of chases for stalk.

I get that’s his power but when practically every hit you get on a survivor is an instadown maybe, just maybe that’s a tad overpowered?

  • Bond is good as it shows you when a survivor is bringing the killer you’re way. So often people bring Myers towards me as he’s just about to pop EW3 and then I get punished for it. On too of that you get information on which gens are being worked on, and who can heal you or who needs healing nearby.

Kindred is amazing now. It makes getting an unhook really easy as you can see the killers aura so if you’re nearby you can easily avoid line of sight.

You know what else isn’t fun? Being matched with rank 17 teammates when I’m rank 6. They do nothing!!! This matchmaking is garbage.

    I feel your pain.

Don’t ever take Bond or Aftercare. You really don’t want to see how little they do. You’re better off not knowing.

Looping the killer all across the map meanwhile Claudette is just hiding in the reeds at the edge of the swamp map acting like the gens are going to repair themselves.

Better yet I’ve performed basement unhooks against campy killers with BT on 3 survivors the past 2 days. Each one of these survivors ran back into the corner of the basement rather than up the stairs and out. They’re so new they don’t even appear to know what BT is.

  • If I could delete one map from the game it would be Rotten Fields. It offers nothing.

I could very well imagine Billy's insta saw addons being nerfed. That would probably be fair.

While I do get the frustration of the Ruin nerf, and I do think the nerf happened to early, I do also think that perk was a bit too good on those killers that were considered powerful. Billy, Spirit, Nurse and Freddy come to mind immediately.

Personally I don't even play Billy, at all. I suck at him and just can't get his curving to work. So they could gut him and it wouldn't matter to me one bit. But now with Ruin nerfed, I feel Billy is about the balance level all killers should be. I don't even want to know what will happen if Billy's base kit gets any nerf in the next patch. Survivor queue times have already increased enough.

Well killers have generally been getting stronger recently. Freddy, GF, Demo, Oni...compare them to the killers of yesteryear. It sucks for the underpowered killers but I'm sure they will be brought up to speed eventually.

Truth be told a lot of players aren't that good. I'm sure NOED usage will increase in the meantime and that's a problem because in my opinion it massively skews the statistics and hides the true picture of what's going on in the game.

I don't think things will be that different across the board though. I can't count the number of times I lost Ruin within 30 seconds. Almost any other perk would have done more damage in those games.

There are a number of players who are streaming games without Ruin and winning at red ranks consistently. What's the worst that could happen? if people struggle they'll derank and get easier games. There's no benefit to being red ranks so even if you get wrecked it should work out in the end.

That is just luck, Spirit counterplay. What I want is just to know when she is using it. And ruin is not even good, and it was buffed

The best way to counter Spirit is to play her.

When you get a stand off with her, you're guessing what she wants to do next, and what she thinks you're going to do next.

Most Spirits aren't that great and it becomes very easy to extend a chase against her for 3 gens. The uber Spirits that everyone worries about are very very rare. Like everyone says about survivor de-pip squads I guess.

Spirit is like Nurse, it's not about looping it's about guessing your opponents next move and conditioning them to predict yours. I wouldn't want to face Spirit or Nurse every game and spirit was overused but I find these two killers a nice change of pace as it's a much more cerebral battle.

  • I agree. Flashlights and med kits don't bother me. Toolboxes however, yeah if I'm going against an swf with toolboxes then it's mori time.

  • @Furry_Fuccboi

Low rank spirits tend to camp, tunnel and NOED. Every rank reset it was the same. None of them could play her but at low ranks it's a winning strategy.

Billy players could be just as cheap but in general they tried harder I give them that.

@ad19970 Yeah I've seen so many people pick Freddy, Billy, Spirit - all the top tier killers basically, they pick the best add ons and run Ruin and NOED. They're bad at the game but those builds carry them so far. At least with Ruin gone it balances things out a bit.

I do agree Billy isn't as bad without Ruin and Instasaw. I think everyone agrees instasaw is BS though.

  • Freddy below legion, plague and clown?

Well I guess everyone has their own experience. Very unique tier list there. DBD can be so weird sometimes, with people putting Pig and Doc really low and then others putting them really high.

I say if you do well with a killer and enjoying using them then more power to you. It's nice to go against a variety of killers as survivor so its good that everyone has their own different tier lists, meaning all the killers will get used in games.

In what world is a free crossmap teleport at minimum every 45 seconds somehow worse than having to traverse the maps at double speed, but if you bump into anything with limited turning ability, you get stunned for 2 seconds? You do know that Hillbilly has a cooldown and charge time, right? And that he can't turn on a dime and gets stunned if he hits something? And while we're making silly arguments, lets do some other ones:

    Is Countered by Locker Juking:

    Meyers - No

    Ghostface - No

Nurse - Yes, but you lose distance so she hits you immediately after

Leatherface - Yes, but you need to know the timing

    Oni - No

    Hillbilly - Yes

    Winner: Everyone but Hillbilly

Is Countered by Going Around a Corner:

    Meyers - No

    Ghostface - No

    Nurse - No

Leatherface - No, unless you're bad and bump

    Wraith - No

    Pig - No

Hillbilly - Yes, outside of initial curve

Loser: Hillbilly (and Leatherface but he sucks)

I know I'm not going to change your mind. But when basically every top tier player and multiple members of BHVR have all said that Hillbilly is their standard of balance, I don't feel as though I really need to.

You won't always be near a locker but that's a fair point you make.

As for corners, Billy can definitely hit around corners!!!! and I think that's one thing about him that annoys people, the hitbox feels extremely large. I know it doesn't always feel that way using hillbilly but on the survivor side it seems huge.

When did members of BHVR call him their standard of balance? if that's the case then why is almost every other killer lacking compared to him?

Also according to stats he's the second most picked killer with the second highest kill rate at red ranks, so technically he's "overperforming".

You don't need to change my mind and I don't need to change yours. I appriciate seeing another side. There seems to be two very different camps for Billy, "OP" and "most balanced". I just know that I always felt like Billy was a bigger pain that Spirit due to ease of use. Everyone focused on spirit but thats because half the player base didn't know how to play against her. But then half the player base also pick spirit up and dont know how to use her or aren't confident in using her ability. Meanwhile anyone can pick up Billy and figure it out. They won't have the timing against pro loopers but in general they'll be whizzing around the map and get a few instadowns when the survivor is out of position.

Mindbreaker and Blood Echo. Now that's a perk completely to truly (not) be reckoned with.

But for some reason anti-exhaustion always generates the most salt, like franklins. So I'd love to try it out just to see the reactions.

You act like Survivors run around with instants and ultra rares every game....they don't. That stuff is expensive, not common, and cannot be equated to a perk slot.

Moris are not rare and are very common.

  • I've tried it a little bit but I'm often in sweat ranks so fall back on reliable builds.

Have to say it stopped me from seeing sprint burst in a game that had them. The thing with mindbreaker is if they sprint from a gen, you break chase, then they go back - well they have to either sit there for 40 seconds waiting for their stamina to recover or they do the gen. They can't do both, so it's sacrifice gen time or sacrifice their exhaustion. At least until the gen is over 50%.

It's not that bad and probably will give some value. I'd like to try it with blood echoes but I don't have Oni yet.

Hillbilly has both a charge up time and a cooldown on every use of a chainsaw, just doesn't have to gather resources like Meyers and Oni. And both have significantly more maneuverability when using their one shot power, unlike billy. Neither also have a penalty for missing and hitting a wall like Hillbilly does. When charging his dash or his lunge, Oni doesn't lose movement speed like Billy does. Each killer has their tradeoffs. Hillbilly is balanced.

    Instadowns

Myers - Needs to delay the chase to stalk survivors. Instadown is time limited and expires.

Ghostface - Needs to Stalk survivors. Instadown is time limited.

Oni - Needs to collect blood orbs, generally by injuring two surviors. Instadown potential is time limited.

Leatherface - Unlimited instadowns, however suffers a HUGE penalty if he misses or hits a wall. Movement speed is slowed down while charging to slower than survivor speed meaning he needs to get extremely close and piggyback to use it.

Hillybilly - Unlimited instadowns. Suffers a minor penalty if he misses or hits a wall. Can still move as fast as a survivor when charging which allows him to rev the chainsaw behind them and line it up without losing distance.

    Winner: Hillbilly

    Speed/map traversal

Spirit - Can travel a limited distance at 176% speed. Has to wait 15 seconds for her power to recharge afterwards leaving her with no chase ability at 110% speed. Can move freely.

Freddy - Can teleport to any generator in the map. Has a 45 second cooldown

Wraith - Moves at 126.5% speed. Has to unclock once has found a survivor before he can attack. Can move freely.

Oni - Moves at 195.5% speed. Has to have demon mode activated before he can activate the dash so can not use this on demand.

Demogorgon - Can teleport to any portal, however has to place the portals first. Portals can be destroyed by survivors. Has a 14 second cooldown between teleports.

Hillbilly - Moves at a whopping 230% speed however limited movement. Has no cooldown so can turn around and immediately chainsaw sprint back an unlimited number of times. Can instantly go into attack and use his power fully in a chase.

    Winner: Hillbilly

So all in all he has hands down the best instadown ability, and in terms of map traversal I'd say it's between him and Demogorgan but I'd give the nod to Billy since he can use his power at the very start without needing to place portals first and survivors can't stop him by destroying portals.

So best instadown and best speed.....and he's the only killer that has both strength AND speed. On top of this zero cooldown on his power so he can sprint sprint sprint and swing swing swing that chainsaw as many times as he wants all trial.

If Hillbilly is "the most balanced killer" then you're basically saying almost every other killer is severely underpowered.

  • @KnotEnthusiast said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1004926#Comment_1004926

Hillbilly is a punishing killer: bad positioning and poor resource management both result in him getting an instadown. But if you play intelligently, he is beatable with structures and good pallet usage. He is not an easy killer to beat, but he is beatable. That's why he is balanced.

Yes killers are meant to punish survivors for mistakes but Hillbilly is too punishing. The survivors can have one little mistake flip the game in an instant. No other killer can do that.

He has the fastest speed in the game, no cooldown on his traversal unlike other killers, the easiest instadown with no need to "earn" it like say Myers or Oni, and a very minimal penalty to using it unlike Leatherface.

So we have a killer with no cooldown, the fastest speed and the best instadown....yes "the most balanced killer" I'm sure.

It's not a double standard, because their powers are completely different. Spirit's power lacks counterplay: when she goes into phase, it's at best a guessing game or at worst just a timer. She has information on you in the form of scratches and audio, whereas the only input nearby survivors have when she's in phase is occasional footstep sounds when she's already on top of you. That, in combination with a large speed boost and lunge that can make up for mistakes in positioning, makes Spirit annoying to go against. She's not insanely strong, she's just got next to zero counterplay because of lack useable information for the survivor. Billy is the exact opposite. You always know where he is, you always know when he's charging his power, and you know exactly what you can do to get around it. Countering Hillbilly is all about your own positioning: stick near structures that provide obstacles for chainsaws, and force him to M1. Countering Spirit is guess a direction and hope you get lucky.

And yet in most games Billy is downing my team left and right and so fast it's hard to keep up, meanwhile Spirit is often much slower. This is after thousands of games so it's not a one off or a bad game it's something I'm seeing consistently. Most people that go down to Spirit are the Nea's that stand there or crouch when Spirit is phasing....as if she will magically go away.

As for myself, I find it less stressful evading a Spirit. It's often easy to predict her next move and avoid a hit. Meanwhile you can loop Billy but with the very generous hitbox on that chainsaw half the time you get hit around corners or at times when you really don't think it should have. Also one mistake and you're instadowned. He gets unlimited swings with very little penalty for a miss.

The only time Billy gets "instadown after instadown" is when either one of the survivors is terrible at pallet efficiency and screws the rest of the squad by leaving them with nothing to work with, or all of the survivors don't know how to run tiles.

All I’m saying is from my experience it doesn’t matter which rank I play Billy tends to get instadown after instadown all game long, and you can say the survivors aren’t good but honestly the Billys aren’t good players either. Only time Billy gets looped is when it’s an exceptional survivor.

Its funny how when people go down to Spirit its “spirit OP”, and when they loop a Spirit its “bad spirit” but when people go down to billy its “bad survivors” and when billy gets looped for 5 gens its “billys balanced, survivors op”

There is some real double standards.

  • I see all the popular streamers have been listed already like Tru3, Otzdarva, Monto. So I’ll give a shout out to Dowsey. He plays top rank and doesn’t use Ruin, also cycles through all killers. He plays a good demogorgan with a typical build but also comes up with creative builds like make your choice and territorial imperative (it was brutal lol).

If average Billy can get average survivors, then why the fk people think Bubba is so bad. Bubba is just a better Billy at close range isn’t it? Btw, Curving Billy is not average. In fact, I think many survivors just fk up against Bubba too. Is Bubba too strong?

Bubba slows down with his chainsaw, Billy doesn’t. So bubba is forced to M1 more. Bubba becomes more dangerous as the game goes on and pallets decrease, Billy starts out with instadowns from the start.

Basically LF normally starts out with M1s and gets instadowns later. Billy is just instadown after instadown after instadown right from the start with no rest inbetween.

  • That's because only second chance perks become meta, and the problem with second chance perks is that when 4 survivors bring enough of them it unbalances the game.

  • The thing is people act like killers are hard done by. Take my games to tonight as an example, I turn the game on and its black ward with ultra rare add on, followed by Ebony mori the next game and another mori the game after.

People forget that killers have so much up their sleeve they don’t need Ruin.

I just want a few casual games as solo survivor to rank up. Its hard when I’m going against this Bs all the time. Many killers dont play chilled, they play dirty like this.

At least with Ruin gone it helps a little bit.

  • No, the idea of the stun upon landing is to stop infinites. Having a perk that undid that was a bad idea.

  • Lmao. Claudette mains shaking at the thought of this.

  • I think they have mentioned new killers will have them and reworked killers will have them. So unless the killer gets a rework they are unlikely to get their own music, at least for the foreseeable future.

If killers get nerf because survs are bad then good players will escape and stomp easily any killer.

No game is balanced around bad players.

Billy is pretty loopeable, you have to learn how to play surv. Not personal, is what I would say to anyone that asks for demands without having learned the mechanics of the game.

It's Like balancing the game around Bronze or silver in League of Legends.

It simply has no sense at all.

    But here's the thing...

You put all the blame on survivors saying survivors are bad, but there's never any taking into consideration that the Billys are equally as bad. I would bet the survivors going down to Billys chainsaw are the same people wrecking teams with Billy.

I've had games where he downs my entire team within the first minute, I then proceed to loop him for 4 gens. So it's not like the people playing Billy are good players.

My point is why does a mediocre Billy get to destroy mediocre survivors? why is the onus on the survivors to play well but not on the Billy?

Isn't that the complaint killers mains have with weak killers? that the onus is on them to put hundreds of hours into making someone low tier like Doc viable?

  • Oni and Demo are stronger than Plague and Pig.. Legion, LF and Clown I would rank higher than Doc too.

  • lmao I've resorted to that too, thanking people for not camping the hook or hard tunneling. Especially so if it's a killer known for it e.g. Wraith, Pig, etc

  • @jordirex said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1004068#Comment_1004068

So you could destroy my premade playing Billy 🤣?

If he is that easy you should be a champion

A minority of exceptionally good players can loop a Billy yes, that doesn't change the fact that average Hillbillys still land about 20 instadowns per game on a team of survivors of the same skill level.

No other killer in the game lands that many instadowns per trial. None even come close. Not Oni, not Myers, not LF, not GF.

  • I’d like to see more of Lery’s. Feels like it has been buffed for survivors a bit?

I was checking totem locations too as they were often a pain on Lerys. There seems to be less in corners and I notice they all tend to be hidden within something now so that you can only see them from specific angles. The one upstairs at the very end of the balcony area hidden behind a cabinet at the end, very sneaky 😉

Doctors static blast is very useful, perhaps OP at actually finding survivors. Theres no chance of hiding lol

His shock was awful on the ptb but they’re shrinking the 3 second window so hopefully it feels better on the live version.

  • @jordirex said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1003996#Comment_1003996

Untrue. Playing survivor well enought to loop for a while a good billy is quite easy if you have some iq, experience and you are not an overall potatoe. I'm excluding 95% of the survs here.

Even if billy has speed or instachainsaw addons he is very loopeable.

If somebody is bad is his problem, improve before asking for nerfs.

Playing billy at a very high lvl needs thousand of hours, a lot of skill and dedication. And still he gets looped if survs are decent.

An average billy in rank 1 gets destroyed by good survs.

And from what I see, regardless of rank most of Billys hooks throughout a trial are done by chainsaw.

My point is that most survivors go down to it. The people playing Billy aren’t really any better than the survivors. Just take a few add ons and anyone can be boosted by him.

Again he has too much strength for how easy he is to use.

Don’t get why the community focused on Spirit when in general people struggled much more to play Spirit than Billy.

  • @jordirex said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1003653#Comment_1003653

Na, a very good billy is loopeable.

The thing is 95% of the playerbase is bad

So then maybe Billy is too easy to use for how strong he is.

The average survivor may be bad, but they can easily pick up a Billy and trash a team of players of the same skill level. Why does the survivor require so much more skill?

  • Isn’t it in legal limbo?

  • I don’t take those threats seriously for a second. In the vast majority of games killers proxy camp with the intent of tunneling anyway. They use the extra time granted by Ruin to hard tunnel one survivor out of the game as fast as possible.

At least with Ruin gone people will be punished for this playstyle as now the other survivors will zip through the gens since the killer won’t be pressuring them.

  • Plague. Best default cosmetics hands down. Her armour one is amazing too. I like the mystical look she has to her cosmetics.

Other good ones are Clown, Wraith and Nurse.

Are you good hillbilly? i bet my SWF group would wipe the floor against your billy. He can be looped quite easily

Everyone says he can be looped quite easily and yet everytime I go against a Hillbilly he ends up having almost every hit on a survivor done with his chainsaw.

Your average survivor will go down to an average Hillbilly. You need the survivors to be vastly better than the Billy.

  • Survivor: Slippery meat. Take luck offerings and up the ante and this is a free kobe every time.

Killer: Insidious. You know the killer, you know the build.

  • Depends.

I didn't want to take part in this rift as the challenges in the last one sometimes sucked the fun from the game and made it frustrating.

    That said, that Feng cosmetic....

It was a really dirty move making the last piece of that require lvl 70 to unlock.

  • @Peanits said:

I'll let you all brainstorm, but I would generally argue against having larger rewards for prestiging. On a personal level, I would prefer prestige stays optional for those who have loads of time to play, rather than encouraged for those who might not.

That said, having slightly cheaper nodes wouldn't be too crazy, in my eyes. Granted, you would have to play that one killer or survivor a ton to make up for the three times you prestiged.

I skipped prestige to go for all perks. It’s taking eons to unlock everything.

So yeah I’d rather not have Prestige buffed as then I wouldn’t fee like I wastes my time.

I only prestiged one survivor and it was pointless but it made me feel better about skipping prestige on everyone else.

  • This is what I’ve always said. He may be an M1 killer but he gets his first hit for free. He literally only has to do half the job of other M1 killers so with that alone he’s at least mid-tier. Reddit is just full of edgy Legion fans who think hes far below everyone else but thats just salt at the changes I think.

It’s also why I hate playing against Legion. He gets his first hit for free with very little if any counterplay other than spinning around and praying he misses. Then you need to heal to full and over the course of a game this just means holding M1 more or having other people hold M1 more. It’s dull.

Plague injures for free but you get given the option of a 5 second heal there so its not so bad. In return she gets a new power, so there’s an interesting gameplay loop with Plague that Legion doesn’t have. I feel like with Plague they learned well from the Legion mistake.

I am generally of the same viewpoint, which is why I'm altogether against the change.

But no need to tag Peanits, he's answered this exact question before and I can show you his response:

Just because we didn't personally see people dodging lobbies doesn't mean it wasn't happening. In fact, I've seen a lot of people on these forums saying things to the effect of "I wish they had left it in because it let me know when to dodge".

Basically, the reasoning behind the change is lobby dodging increases queue times, and since the devs are currently making efforts to reduce queue times, allowing a feature to remaining the game which indirectly increased them would be counter-productive to that goal.

As I said, I personally don't agree with the decision since I think that even taking that into consideration, the feature was a net good, but I understand why they felt it was necessary to remove it.

People have a right to dodge. Being red rank and getting a rank 17 on your game is basically a 3 vs 1. The new player will last about 2 minutes before being tunneled out and will have contributed very little.

Its unfair on everyone else. Not sure if its broken matchmaking or people playing with their low rank friends. If its the latter then the swf rank changes needs reverting. I play solo and I shouldnt be punished by having a low rank on the team just because somebody wants to play with their friend. The killer has a field day as they notice the rookie and pick them off first with zero effort. It sucks.

They want to implement a severe dc ban system acting like their game is serious business yet when it comes to treating a ranked game like a ranked game should be suddenly it doesn’t matter anymore.

  • Survivors on the floor can be completely silent. Also injured sounds used to fade out gradually as you got further away from the survivor. Now they stat around the same then disappear conpletely at a certain distance. It’s like theres a wall you hit, the sounds drop out completely rather than fading out.

Lastly when you used to pick Stridor you knew right off the bat you were running Stridor. Now I can barely tell when it’s equipped.

  • “Billy is the most balanced killer” is just a meme spread by people that only play killer. It’s not true.

There really needs to be a "give up/bleed out" button for slugged survivors after say 30 seconds.

What decent quality game lets people be stuck doing nothing in a miserable state DURING a game for 4 minutes? Even Call of Duty 4 had "cowards way out" for people with last stand.

At the very least you should be able to hold it to bleed out faster. This would still allow the killer time to finish a hook, or make it back to hook the slugged survivor but not force someone to sit there for a few minutes while they go looking for a Blendette in the corn.

  • Slugging is fine. Its slugging when theres two survivors left that is dull.

Slugging during the game is a good tactic to slow the game down. As survivor you know you will be picked up eventually so long as your team isn’t completely useless.

However builds like you used to get with Nurse or Billy where the killer tries to slug all 4 before hooking any survivor...those are toxic and everybody misses out on points with that.

What I dislike is when endgame slugging gets drawn out. If the killer has played well and wants to slug for the 4k I’m not too fused if they slug me and have a little look for the other survivor. The problem arises when they slug over and over again or spend a few minutes looking for a Blendette who they will never find. There’s nothing wrong with having a little look but at some point it just becomes sad. Accept you can’t find them and move on. It used to make sense with the old hatch as the killer had no choice for the 4k but the new hatch/endgame is so killer sided that you’re still likely to get the 4th kill anyway.

  • Myers, Clown, Tum Tums, Doctor, Huntress, Wraith.

Nurse can be fun too as long as she's decent - good. If it's an exceptional Nurse then oh boy does that take the fun out of it 😓
