Can you define toxic, it has very little meaning left on these forums.
It would be fun tho, if there was a mechanic that increased the chances to Kobe, like the more time spent in chase increased the percentage.
-
I have noticed right handed players DC more than left handed players.
Or you sure they weren't just righties?
-
Anyone else hear the old Jerry Springer tag line?
"Take care of yourself, and each other."
Thanks for the post, but that is all I can hear.

weren't those those collectable casino chip-like things in the 90s?
I wasn't going to comment on this thread.
But that is hilarious!!!🤣

Happens the other way to. Sometimes I get green and yellow survivors.
Just depends on how long you have been waiting and mm expands search
-
Obviously you have never been to an Eagles game!
Go Birds!!

You really need to play both sides at a high level to lose the biases of maining one side.

Perhaps add something usful to the conversation
Perhaps create a post worth discussing. You create a post complaining about temper tantrum, when all your post does is rage.
You want to make 30 minute DC penalties for a first time offender, how is this useful or constructive?
This has already been discussed about 1,000 times, but thanks for your truly biased post based solely on your personal experience and emotions.
No one likes DCs, but 30 minutes is excessive for one DC a day.

Like I said bad internet don't play. People DC left and right 2 game today and already a dc in 2 min of playing. If you can't handle getting caught and you throw a fit get lost.
You cant control who plays and who does not.
If you lose internet once a day, that shouldn't mean you should not play.
Perhaps get over yourself a bit and stop trying to police a video game.
-
Not going happen.
They should be short for first timers.
It is the repeat offenders that are the problem. Not the guy whose internet crashed once.

A toddler can play the doctor. It takes no skill to just zap zap zap.
I see these comments so often.
Doctor no skill, spirit no skill, Oni no skill, Deathslinger no skill, Freddy no skill.
Do you have to be a rank 1 console nurse to demonstrate you have skill as a killer?

They sure do put the F U in fun!!

Aight so congratulations players like you are the exact reason I became a killer main.
No, if there's a streamer I play the game like normal because I have this thing called "Empathy" and I'm aware that everyone is playing a game to have some form of fun. Try it sometime and grow the ######### up.
That's a Claudette perk, right?
-
This has gotta be a joke.
No way you are complaining about no mither .
-
You got tier 3 pop and bbq on a rank 20.
You sure you're not the smurf?
I know I know, you haven't played in awhile, right?

"Track properly" you mean guess correctly right? survivor sound output is at an all time low after this update since the seem to have upped the sound occlusion and basically muted survivors during chase music.
Yeah, I know I play a lot of killer and have even experimented with some bloodhound to counter this BS sound bug.
The hook bug is also pretty fun too.

Why was compound 21 even nerfed? Entitled Survivors complaining?
It was nerfed because it was OP. If you can't see that you are a bit biased.
I mean you lose a killer and sneak away and he just runs into a wall and , oh look there he is.
Learn to track properly, that addon was straight killer training wheels
-
First just avoid the exit gates during egc. My experience is the majority of survivors just want to hit you with those tbags.
Go break pallets, spam your ability and get some extra points.
The only time I will tbag is a hardcore tunneler.
And that is mainly to get them to chase me and let the other survivor play a little.

Then if you are massacring the survivors so much that you can pull all that off in 60 seconds, then I doubt a 5 second stun would be much of a problem. Would it? And if the survivors decide to quickly heal under the hook, they are more than likely to be together anyway. Just chase the unhooker in that situation?
And believe me, streamers tunnel too. Rarely, but they do. And even if Otz eats DS in matches because he is so good, then that, like I said before, doesn't change anything, because Otz wins most of his matches anyway.
And I bring up PH, because it's the killer side that is the most unbalanced now. PH should be looked after before any nerfs to DS/UB.
And lastly, I play both sides, and when I play survivor I never use DS/UB. But as I'm playing more and more matches, I can easily see why so many people run it.
I am the same. I won't use DS/UB. I have mained killer way to long to run those perks. However the more survivor I play, the more tempting it is

95% of the time, get the hell out and away from the basement. You shouldn't have been near it to begin with. Loop away from the basement as much as possible
But if you know the killer is across the map and you have We'll Make it, then maybe.

Just helping out.

What rank are you? How long have you been playing?
Killer is at the strongest point it has ever been in DBD history.
Perhaps you have actually ranked up past your skill level. If you are losing game after game you should eventually depip to a rank more becoming of your skill level.
4 man optimal SWFs are indeed a challenge, but I find them maybe a few games out of 10. Other than that I am 4king potatoes.
Like others have said if you struggle maybe learn Spirit/Freddy for some EZ 4ks.
-
Thanks
-
Dude this is the best it has ever been for killers.
What are you talking about?
-
I don't. When I need a break, I take one.
-
Just do bones,
I mean play survivor.
-
This is just another reason why so many people choose to SWF. I mean the rampant DCs just make the game so unfun. I can't blame killers for continuing to try have fun and do some killing.
But it becomes exponentially harder for survivors with each DC per game. And after 1 DC, often another 1 or 2 follow as no one wants to fight a losing battle. 5 gennys left with two people. Not a lot of chance at success there.
But please killers if this does happen during the game. Don't slug to get the 2k. Hook me and let me die. Who cares if one guys gets the hatch after this ######### show?
The weird part is, this most mostly be solo survivors, who are ruining the solo experience and then complaining about how hard solo is.

I....I'm sorry, but do you have the wrong thread?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/discussion/comment/1625406#Comment_1625406
To your latter two paragraphs, those are my exact points. It's terrible designed because it works just like you've stated. It encourages "genrushing" and it doesn't affect survivors who aren't meta gamers and instead affects survivors who would otherwise (without Pop) give the killer a closer game.
To your first paragraph, I will reiterate that the kind of gameplay you say happens with Pop happens normally regardless. There is no downside to Pop (free extra gens!) unless there is a group of survivors who are part of the problem of maximum gen efficiency (against whom Pop should be effective).
Me personally, I would rather have the 25% regression. It is useful in games that you are battling to protect the last few gennys.
I appreciate your suggestion. But skill check speed will be quickly adapted to. And it would require you to run all over kick gennys, losing time you could be chasing.
-
Pop is a strong perk that rewards killers for winning chases and hooking as opposed to slugging. It also incentives leaving the hook to go kick a far off genny.
The best counter to pop is to spread out and work on different gennys, as is often the best counter to many killer plays/tactics in the game.
Chances are if the killer is getting a lot of hooks, you are losing anyway. If he gets just a couple, pop won't be very effective.
-
Only hardcore go out of their way to tunnel killers. And I only do it to get them to chase me and let the other survivor play a bit.
-
I have to agree that this happens more times than one would expect. It makes it so I refuse to play survivor without at least 2 friends. I can't stand when someone DCs at the start of the game. Like we will come and save you. Not to mention the farm saves with no BT, like why?
Let the killer walk away a few feet, I can't even get mad at the killer. You just gifted him my second hook stage. No thanks, If I am going solo, it will be as killer.
-
At the highest level of play it is survivor sided. However it is definitely killer sided if the survivors are new or potatoes.
-
@Moundshroud said:
Then End Game Collapse is supposed to END the game. Getting the gates to 99% and not opening it is an artificial extension of the game. At least give the Killer the ability to juice it back down. ;)
The killer can open it if they want to apply pressure to the survivors.
-
The new hatch offering has made this a key game now. If you know where it will spawn, you can almost guarante at least a couple people get out.
-
If you are looping a killer into BL3. You are doing good for your team.
-
If I have dominated they get the hatch.
If I hear the hatch when I am carrying the last person to the hook, they can have it.
Other than that, it's a 4k. I am not one for searching all over to find a hatch when I can be in the next game.
-
Couldn't agree more.
I may not always enjoy every playstyle. I may debate things in the forums. But once the game starts it's all fair, gg and move on.
Are some players going to have more skill than others, hence using less tactics the other side finds unfun? Sure.
But mori, swf, tunneling, camping, DS, flashlights, etc are all in the game. Play how you want, and don't give others a hard time for playing how they want.
-
Do bones
-
#2 was in the game, but survivors were at a disadvantage.
I once spawned in by myself against a doctor and I had 2 gennys to complete. After 3 dcs. No thanks.

I was playing Ghostface in the last round of it but they literally do it at the barrier then run out immediately because they're scared shitless. The thing is that if I wanted to kill them all I would have done it and it just really annoyed me at the time. You give them more breaks than a hooker in court and they want to be smartasses afterwards. You'd think they just juked their way to victory.
Does a hooker in court get a lot of breaks?

6 games. 6 games in a row. The exit doors were not even touched. All 6 games was players hiding for hatch, or dcing to give hatch. 2 games in a row one player dc'd before first hook. Then the last 3 took the hatch.
BHVR why don't you just remove the gen's and exit gates? The majority of players clearly have found out how to abuse your free win mechanic.
Do you mean people are bringing keys. Or that the last person alive is getting the hatch.
-
Do yo mean Honestly? or Honestly!
-
If you let me hit second stage on my first hook, well I am just letting go. I obviously wasn't a major concern for my team anyway.
Unless there are two of us left and you are finishing the genny.
