That's Not okay to say to anyone! There are children that play this game grrrrr. 🙄Kiddies are the one's saying it though, that's neither here nor there. It should never be said for any reason I am just glad devs are actively banning people in the harassment category now I am actually re downloading the game right now because of it.
-
I am turned on by this.

Some people don't actually know what toxic means but because they hear it being thrown around they'll repeat it at times when it makes no sense. I was called toxic for gen rushing once (?) happens.

Jajajajajaja stop being a pussy, you deserved it. I always have tryhard killers, campers, tunnelers, rage quitters, who complains about looping, who complains about sabo hooks... I teabbaged them and will always do it. Just getgud and stop cry about it. This is a surv side game i mean #########?This is exactly what is wrong with this toxic community! People like you need to stop existing in DBD.
-
My suggestion should be monitored monthly:
5 disconnects per month = Safe
6 disconnects = 30 minute lobby lock out + Warning about disconnecting
7 disconnects = 1 hour lobby lock out
8 disconnects = 2 hour lobby lock out
9 disconnects = 24 hour ban + Final Warning
10 disconnects = 48 hour ban + StrikeStrikes: Are given to those who abuse disconnects and are permanent on a dbd account. Once a player has accumulated 3 strikes to their account they are automatically perm banned.
Implement this strategy and watch how quickly the kiddies fall in line.

It’s almost the same way in this game though, there are people I know who I guarantee you won’t dance around on f13 as Jason and they basically have honed their skills to wipe everyone out fairly quick because if you get good with all the mechanics Jason has available it’s very hard to beat , but like this game as well though for example the nurse, you will come across some players who are a joke and you can run circles around all game even though they are highly skilled with other killers, and some who are ridiculous with the nurse where your mind really has to work to win because looping won’t do the trick against a good nurse
Well yeah that's why Nurse is most popular killer because she can't be looped. She's the only killer worth playing in all honesty, nobody wants to get looped around buildings and pallets that's just boring. Nurse rules!!

Link it to everyone!!!Good grief the whininess is astounding, the decs have said it's not cheating so therefore it's not cheating. Now before you say anything killers use the devs said camping is a legit strat to defend it. So if the devs have said it's ok it is and therefore isn't cheating.
But go ahead and use a software that isn't allowed and get that ban, I'm sure you'll feel so much better having to use that. Instead of doing the same as @Master and dodging on his own if he wants.
I don't care what the devs said about SWF to majority killers it goes without saying that using voice coms in a match as survivor is flat out cheating point blank period end of discussion.

I love how you just casually admit that you were acting like a jerk to the killer just because you didn't like the way he played. I honestly can't stand people like you, try to be nice for once in your life, no need to treat people like garbage.

People do get banned for it. I personally dealt with the report the OP is talking about. OP can confirm if you don't believe me, this chat log will sound familiar (names removed for anonymity):
Person 1: [bad words]
Person 2: gg
Person 2: dunked
Person 1: just wanted the bbq hook
Person 1: [BAD WORD]100% serious, we see chat logs, report them in game, it will be dealt with.
Are you telling me you guys are ACTUALLY starting to ban people in the harassment category? Heck I might even come back if that's the case. About time somebody started holding people accountable for their behaviour.
BHVR just hired a whole team of ACMs (associate community managers) just to handle reports. It's very real.

Put a gold sticker on their forehead!! I can't express the relief of hearing this enough.

You said she doesn't need a buff then you make a whole list of buffs you want for her? (Are you stoned?) Anyway I agree she needs a buff, the biggest one I want for her is to remove the "roar" when she does a dash attack out of crouch. It's totally unnecessary to have it all it does is say "hey, survivors I am about to attack you, better run away now". Developers should NEVER have put it on Amanda to begin with.

Nurses will continue to reign and people will continue to leave. You claim that the same was as the few others that try and use that even though you know it's false. The game has gotten more popular, Hags are now the number 3 killers behind only Billy and even then she's pushing for number 2.
In fact a lott of the people leaving are those that wouldn't have ever stayed in the 1st place. Some of those who're leaving are leaving because of a toxic community, no dedicated servers etc. There's quite a few review bombs that're from people who got to use it during ftp week.
Most of the survivors who encounter nurses at rank 1-2 don't leave even with her being the top killer. We take her as a challenge to learn from and get better.
most survivors will just DC on their first down, they hate challenges and just want easy mode from what I've experienced
I played this game for around 1k hours this is what I saw in about 1 out of every 2-3 games. Miss the DS? = DC, Killer out plays the survivor? = DC, Get found in a locker? = DC, basically any and every reason to DC is displayed at the drop of a hat and without consequences I am not surprised that it is still being abused on a regular basis.

Perhaps you haven't kept up to date, the game is not "MORE" popular AT ALL!! It peaked 35k during the event that's horrendous no where near numbers it was hitting last year. I love how you throw a blanket over any person that ever left dbd, not true about "wouldn't have ever stayed in the first place" (not 1st) plenty of people played the heck out of dbd before leaving. I know marth88 had thousands of hours, I myself clocked in 1k and many others too, yes you're right about people leaving due to the community being toxic. Nobody enjoys being told to off themselves and get death threats from a game that won't hold aggressors responsible for their disgusting behaviour. Furthermore the balance issues are now getting beyond the joke, nerfing bloodlust is a game killer, just when they give a few killers a small buff they decide to nerf the entire roster in one big F.U to the killer community thus driving more people away from the game.
-
"Dead" by Nerfing bloodlust, they really screwed the pooch this time. Devs really don't give a crap about the community. They just do whatever THEY want to do. Time to find a new game.

Nurses will continue to reign and people will continue to leave.

why would you support a sexual predator. Even though this company talked about it, if they ever did release a DLC for Jeeper Creepers that directly supported this man, I would not buy it and have a different view on the game. The only way I would support this if 100% of the profit went to the 12 year old boy he molested.
Hey? DUMB #########??? The story of Jeepers Creepers came out WAY before the movie!! God you people are full #########!!

The time a wraith blocked the stairs until we all had to disconnect. Scary stuff.
-
Most of the time I noticed dc's were actually rq's. Somebody misses DS = DC, tea bags killer at pallets but then gets downed = DC, gets tunneled by killer = DC. It gets ridiculous after a while seeing how people will do it at the drop of a hat.
-
If I am being griefed or dealing with a hacker or a lag switcher I'll DC.
-
Davids are trolling when they do that lol probably having a good ol giggle about it on their computers.
-
Survivors shouldn't be able to infinite loop and pallet loop that's what it comes down too. Blood lust is getting a nerf too so RIP dbd. Time to find something else to play.

Bye Bye Dead By Daylight [insert proverbial toilet flush here].

First of all I am Australian NOT American. Second of all you absolute dropkick I said that putting a fat person in DBD would be teaching kids that it's okay to be Obese (which it clearly isn't). Kids are impressionable so I think it has been smart for devs to put survivors in the game who are in shape and not "fat" which was the point I was making to begin with you illiterate halfwit.
Wait, so in a game about murdering people the problem would be... being fat?
Fat people don't run

I'm sorry, but this statement is flawed from the very beginning. This is not a game for kids to begin with, why would it teach them anything in the first place. That's bad parenting to allow a child to play a game like this. And how in the hell would it teach them that it's okay to be ga- I mean okay to be fat? If anything they see the fat girl/boy/apache running and see him getting owned by the much slimmer Killer or- well the Clown spliced up on Entity juice.
Maybe you should check the chart in the pinned threads genius? Majority of DBD players are kiddies in fact only about 11% are not. Also fat people don't run it makes no sense to put one as a survivor in the game.
-
Fat people don't run....
-
without video evidence linked and submitted into the "In-Game report system" you can be 100% sure nothing will come of it. I've been accused of hacking because I pulled a noob from a locker who slammed down a search box and thought it didn't signal the killer. Idiots will be idiots, let them look stupid just take screenshots and post them on your steam profile for everybody to laugh at

-
The game peaked at 35k users world wide yesterday, not a lot if you think about it especially for an event. People are generally turned off DBD in it's current state I believe.
-
Just wait until we get word from devs that harassment reports can and will result in ban. Only then will DBD be actually worth going back to.
-
It's toxic because the self entitled, spoiled and, bratty kids have been allowed to do any say whatever they like for 2 years now without consequences. As I mentioned a couple of times before on other threads, kids like to push boundaries and where there are no rules, well the kiddies will simply take full advantage of the situation. They will gladly tell somebody to kill themselves, drink bleach or just anything toxic they can spew from their tiny little brains in order to get a reaction or attention. They are all too aware that they won't be banned for saying such things which is exactly why they say it. If the rules were enforced it would almost never happen but because it isn't the community has become among the worst in all of gaming history (just check the steam reviews).
I can only hope this won't be a forever thing, I would love to return to DBD but when harassment and chat bullying falls upon deaf eyes and ears I think anybody that plays this game should only "expect" such disgusting behaviour to continue until such time as when bans start becoming active in the harassment category. Watch how quickly the attitude of the community changes when it does too, we'll all be better for it.

Hangman's Trick sounds like the answer here. Just run it for the event.
-
To be fair it's not happening on PC either not_Queen.

yeah will be funny to see them go up against a 4 man swf with voice coms and commodius toolboxes and watch the game end in 3 minutes. Maybe THEN they'll be like "hmmm maybe not such a good job so far" lol.
-

-
I find it baffling that parents just let their kids play games designed for mature gamers and let them roam wild telling people to kill themselves and bully them for fun then act like they did nothing as soon as they finished playing. They are such self entitled brats who don't care about what they say because there are no consequences for it. If BHVR won't moderate it I would have hoped at least parents would be aware of what their children are doing on their computers. For this game in particular it has gotten completely out of hand, I don't even play DBD anymore because of it, honestly it was becoming so disgustingly excessive I was becoming one of them and had to take a step back and just not play the game for a while. A few weeks away from it has helped me to "see the light" and just how truly toxic the community is from the outside looking in. While you're in it though "some" are too absorbed into it that they will even defend it by down playing the whole thing and making out like anybody who speaks out against it has some hidden agenda which then turns into the person speaking out being harassed and thus the cycle begins again. I honestly do love DBD but so long as their are no consequences it will continue to happen just like in real life kids will push boundaries until they learn there are rules that will be enforced if they are broken. If some day players start getting warned/banned for harassing other people I'll gladly come back because then the kiddies will realize they won't get away with it anymore and that harassment comes at a price instead of being for free as it is now.
