i meant fun to go against, not as. winning is fun so

Why do survivors insist killers have to be changed to suit their needs? plenty of us find spirit fun as it is. I'll tell you what's not fun, having survivors hold W around safespots like badham school or grim pantry. How about working on making the maps more fun for killer and maybe people would give the other killers a chance?
yeah spirit is fun all the time because winning isn't hard
the thing is comparing to other killers spirit doesn't have that much counterplay and really lacks on depth. with billy you have to think about feathering and curves. with nurse you need to watch out about corners and LoS breakers. with freddy you give up on first hook. but with spirit its a coin toss.

Considering the the entity and its world is a living thing, and the realms are "how you would think they are" something that would be really cool to see is...some sort of "Cancer", and independent being that lives of of the same environment the entity created. It doesn't harvest hope and fear because it was told to but because it too live of it. Maybe for the entity the cost is lower than the rewards and so it keep its there, Maybe the entity doesn't know it is there, or doesn't care that its there.
The desing is up to them, but it would definitively be a lot less mysterious than the entity itself. and the killer would be its herald, i'd like for it to affect the maps, like how adiris spawns those fountains, but instead the very walls and ceiling, ground and air would be corrupted, bulging and contracting, twisting and blinking. As the herald would be an "incarnation" of this "corruption", it would have pretty good movement. being able to materialize from the corruption maybe? or from those corrupted?
Something i'd like is, maybe have the survivors being able to get afflicted with it, making them not only more fragile but more agile, See better less often or more stealthy but louder. have it me inconsistent upside and down side. kinda like the Blight plants, maybe it came from them? maybe they came from it.

This idea is ######### Dope af. Doesn't dbd mobile already have bots? that saves a lot of problems.
if the ai is bad you still can do a lot of things with it ingame like acting like Ai to fake-out survivors or just using the Unpredictable Add-ons instead. Really good stuff! and his perks Synergize well with his power too. the only thing i think should change is making the hunter blood points awarded post trial. just a little QoL change

meanwhile the TF2 community is desperately waiting for updates after well over 1000 days with no new content
LOL their community is literally making patches themselves. pretty good stuff actually.

By definition the power role has a native dominance over the other side, while the Team role CAN be better than him.
Deathgarden is a perfect example. the team is bound to have someone die at the end, every "running the Killer around" in that game is only buying time for the rest of the team, you WILL go down at the end, but how much time you can buy before that and how you use the time that is given to you is what defines a good team.
TL;DR: the power role is strong, but the team role can be stronger
-
Every time i'm camped its because i either deserved it (acted "cuntish") or because the killer has nothing do lose. same thing for tunneling, if i'm using OoO or playing blendette the killer has an extra reason to get me out of the game early. but thats pretty rare.

Tested it and yup your right it’s insane it honestly makes me wonder if devs ever actually test there game lol
wym? you're dedicating an entire build and items to one thing. Killer uses Franklin's and 2 of your perks are useless. Get a reverse beartrap and you can't use 3 perks and your item. its pretty risky, if it wasn't strong it would be useless.
-
I think making so you can't have more than one hatchet is already a pretty good downside. they just need to change it so Iri head doesn't work with the +2 or +1 hatchet addons.

I like maps like the Game, and there is 0 chance you get 4 survivors and not one of them is banning it. Same for killers banning Midwich and Haddonfield.
It would simply stop several maps from ever being picked (which are also the only maps in their realm so that distinction is irrelevant) and leave us constantly on the boring AF rotation of Corn, Badham, Autohaven and MacMillan.
my thought was that by banning maps that are too bad for you or too good for the opponent the developers would see this data and act on it: "Many killers ban ormond, we should look into that", "many survivors pick haddonfield" we shoud look into that.
The ideia is that instead of waiting for the devs to fix some unfun map, you could ban it.

I think it’s an improvement on the Survivor side, as the new chase music sounds more deranged and thus gives a better feeling of horror. When playing as Pyramid Head, though, I feel it to be a downgrade, as the Killer isn’t the one meant to experience any fear. The more action-ish sound of the PTB fit the Killer’s POV better.
I think they should have done what they did with Oni and keep the PTB music exclusive to the Killer’s POV but have the new music play for Survivors. I will say I’m sad to see the PTB theme for Pyramid Head go as I thought it was very good.
its so that you can roleplay better ;P

I like the idea of increasing the rewards if you go agains't a swf, its good desing to reward instead of punish.
i also think swf are unfair, and the best way to balance to give killers and solo survivors a small buff, that doesn't affect the swf team (like an extra perk slot from a selected pool of perks that don't combo with any other perk, like any of aces perks, no mither, that chest searching perk, thanatophobia, pharmacy, furtive chase, bloodwarden, bloodhound, zashin tactics, and any of demo's perks)
you can't deny that swf CAN be stronger than solo survivor, so we should balance according. Giving the killer a small buff so that he CAN be stronger, not meaning they WILL, in a match with a swf, would make total sense.
-
yeah if they gave him a good perk
-
it makes no sense it be called an anti tunnel perk if it still works when the killer downs survivors too quickly. if they nerfed ds they could buff other perks without making it super unfair for the killer
-
Can't play killers that aren't a underdog in the current meta, it just bothers me too much :p

I wouldn't be against solos getting to bring a free survivor-aura perk of their choice (bond/empathy/kindred/aftercare). Too much selection might create balance issues though.
Sooo maybe if the tie the perk options down a notch it would be possible? kinda like hex perks make it a rare thing?
for survivors a free aura perk or BP perk and for killer the same?
-
That is were the PTB comes in
-
I don't know if it would last, but it would be reeeallly ######### fun
-
you just got cucked by the wall, don't even think ajusting your angle next time would've done it.
-
I think myers just because he's scary AF, i don't think wraith needs a buff, but his bell ringing makes him not so scary, thats the opposite of pig for example, where that RROAAR means: "MAD PIG INCOMING!"
i like to play myers with broken tombstone piece, just to kill that one survivor that keeps clicking his flashlight. like imagine turning a corner, and you see myers hugging a wall in your direction. By the time your character turns around, as you're reaching that locker, he grabs you by the shoulder. Myers turns you around and confronts you with his stare, his Blank...evil stare...your struggles seem to not do anything, other than to give feedback to the monster that you're still very much alive and capable of fighting.
That information...gives him a reason to continue, deeper inside your chest this time, as he stares you down...he acts as if you deserve it, but you didn't, you don't...you'll...see him again...
-
i think the idea for solo queue for killers is ducking amazing, and make so if you want to verse swf, you gain 100% + bps, to help on the grind ya know?
if that isn't a good idea, buff solo surivors (give them an extra perk slot or something) then buff killers (could be the same thing, extra perk slot), but swf don't get thoose things, and maybe if it is a 4 people swf the killer could then get the + 100% bps, ya know?
-
a shapeshiffter killer that changes into objects (trees, lockers, boxes, generators, walls) and can one shot a close survivor!
-
when the killer accepts my item as a offering for me to stay alive xD
-
Dude its so simple they just need to learn something from Deathgarden
If you're the last survivor and you're actually good (did gens/can get chased),make so the killer sees you'r aura for <number of generators to be done> seconds.
if the survivor doesn't get hit for 30 seconds the gates and hatch open and are revealed for the survivor, and after another 10 sec(30 if the survivor is still healthy) the survivor is sacrificed... DONE! the survivor is given a chance to prove he's worth, if he isn't, then the killer gets his deserved kill.
-
and why did you post this on bug report?
-
Make it so third seal lowers the terror radius of survivors affected by 4/5/6 meters for each totem remaining, because with the new healing perk cleansing dull totems will become much more common and rewarding, and survivors still have spine chill and... you know... eyes...
PS: by the first line i mean that the survivor hear the killer's terror radius a bit closer to him, so if there are 2 survivors with third seal, they hear a terror radius only when they're 2 meters away from the killer. Also they can just cleanse the totem and completely negate the effect, making the killer have only 3 perks or less
-
This is a great idea
-
I think wraith should be buffed in general as well!
-
Buff solo survivors, buff killers, make so the changes done to survivor don't work or don't matter as a swf.
-
I mean, if killers had some sort of perk (like an aspect) from a list that changes them a little bit, that would be cool like:
"all skillchecks are 20% harder to hit"
"standing still for 2 seconds increases you movement speed by 10% next time you move"
you know, things all killers do, that would be fun.
-
@toxicity23 Well the thing is:
With clown being a low-mid tier, why wouldn't you reward a player that hits its shots well?
I especially like the idea of this Slowdown effect on direct hit be proportional to distance, like 2 meter 1% speed (if you got hit with a bottle 10 meters away from the killer, you deserve to slowdown 5%).
-
Faith
-
Yeah that is so ######### dumb, i think a disconnect should give you points on every category in a way that if all 4 disconnected you got a 32k bp
-
i always tought survivor in dream state shouldn't get to see woke survivors, but then survivors should have some sort of way to drawn atention, like a snap or something, but THEN that would be anoying for killer, so whatever.
-
Keep in mind that Most of the Chapters Have a "movie" like title, like: The Demise of the Faithful or Darkness among us kind of thing...
A transforming killer tho, Awesome, Love the bloodlust based perks.
-
Agree, I think for each stage you should get points for hooking.
-
Buff bloodlust so that breaking a pallet only consumes 1 token.
-
@HatCreature keep in mind that hooking someone doesn't make them go through the whole state,
20 seconds before struggle mode, hook again, 10 seconds before struggle mode. -
i think Lessing the sound of Myer's map and the chainsaw (for the killer) would be nice
-
I really like all of them, Really well balanced.
Intresting concept, "Philip's Whisper". Like a save point, cool. -
Yes i agree, like, infinite uses on a perk that negates the need to save properly? what?
-
@Dabrownman1812 Ok you like to use "logic"
it makes no sense a killer that has IRON BARS STABBING HIS BACK (trapper) to feel pain when a survivor hits them with Decisive Strike. -
@NurseMainBTW About the Nvidia stuff.
if at tier 3 it turned contrast all the way to 0 more contrast would work. making the black and white game more contrasting just would make it more black and white. it would hurt the survivor more.
and your friend has random Headaches but still plays horror games? isn't that dangerous? -
maybe instead of having the contrast disappear, have a red glow appear on the survivors back for 2 seconds and show the killer hiting them on the back like they're seeing what is goin to happen to them? or is that too Doctor?
@HatCreature said:
Did you mean ''inevitable''?Yes

congrats!
my first killer to get up to max was huntress. lullaby is good, but the other 3 are pretty garbage. her power is cool tho. -
i agree that he should't be able to step on his own traps
lore wise: he knows where they are, he can step a little bit further to dodge it, like the traps and him are one being.
mechanic wise: there is now reason for this mechanic exist.i also think he should be able to pick up closed traps on lockers, like:
if he opens a locker and there is a closed trap anywere on the map, the trap disappears and the trapper grab one. -
@NuclearBurrito2 said:
Not at all required or anything. But maybe give the survivors a stamina bar so you can't run forever and remove scratch marks entirely. Exhaust ability's would instead consume a lot of stamina. Running out of stamina would prevent you from running until it filled back up over a few seconds and the Exhaustion debuff would make it recharge slower or deplete faster. Would need to remove bloodlust cuz it would be redundant but it would certainly make a chase FAR more about vision than distance.Maybe also have the Killers get one exclusive tracking perk slot (which is also the only slot that can have a tracking perk). And the same for Survivors and exhaustion perks.
Yo i really like this

this conversation sounds fun

Would it make any diference if the killer kicking the hatch made it just Change position? so... if the killer is standing in the hatch, you can do gens.
if the survivor is just standing there looking at you, you can kick the hatch and hit him.
it would be too risky for the killer to leave the hatch or to kick it when he doesn't know where the survivor is because he can be there, standing beside it
or he can be closer to the new hatch spawn.
what do you guys think?
