What bothers me the most is changing green from Rare to Uncommon. Now I struggle to remember which it is and constantly confuse blue for Uncommon instead of Rare.
-
Myers, Doctor, Clown.
Knight would be really funny though.
-
The voicelines are overrated, I've grown tired of them. It was one thing when they were for licensed characters, and some like Nic Cage and Alan Wake and Chucky have very good voicework put into their characters that excellently capture their personalities from their source material, but everyone else feels more like misses than hits. I'm fine without, we don't need to add them to old characters.
-
This is the worst rendition of 2v8 yet and I hope it's a long time before this mode returns to wreck queue times again.
-
This has been the most miserable 2v8 yet.
-
The Silent Hill characters just need touch-ups to their models.
-
Imagine a 5-year-old being told they can't play with their favorite toy. That's all you need to know.
-
It feels bad on both sides in regular mode. Play survivor, get thrown against the S-tier killers playing like their life depends on it. Play killer, almost every match is toxic SWF squads and TTVs being as abusive as possible. I feel like I'm working a customer service job: constant antagonism for mediocre rewards and no meaningful progression.
-
I hope it's a bug. Hearing other survivors that aren't mine is very distracting.
-
I haven't felt a single difference playing against Ghoul. It still feels bad.
-
They said they would fix this, but they said that years ago and there hasn't been one word of acknowledgement since.

More qq nerf survivors. Run stridor its been buffed back to counter iron will. Also with the 50+ aura reading perks and add ons, people still can't find survivors who are quiet? Pathetic and petty. We can't have 3 quiet survivors over the other 40 loud ones?
No surprise its always a spirit main complaining about as no other killers seem to have an issue and she's still op with no counters so if he wants that then she needs more nerf like the nerf they didn't give her to kick dust up while phasing
This negatively affects survivors too when they play characters whose pain sounds are louder than normal. There is no need to turn this into yet another tired us vs. them fight.
-
It's a joke at our expense.
-
Killer duos have already figured out the Oni/Legion combo, which playing against feels like pulling teeth.

Anticamp was changed so if a survivor is near by the cage won't move. Survivors need to run away and leave the area. With ONLY the killer nearby the cage will move. Of course you have the killers who counted how many meters from the hook they could stand without giving you anticamp. So there's that.
Even with the killer standing next to my cage, running circles around it with no other survivors around, it still wasn't working.
-
Just bloodpoints, huh.
-
I got camped in a cage by the killer. Because apparently the anti-camp doesn't work anymore.
-
It's been happening to me over here in America. My ping isn't great, but it should not be this bad, I should not be rubberbanding and teleporting.
-
I've been miserable the past month, and the past week has been even worse.
-
State of the game feels so bad I'm barely motivated to play, so I'm at only level 12.
-
I just want a security guard outfit for Dwight.

I saw the map is probably going to be located within the Withered Isle realm (looked very similar to Greenville)
It's exactly how I've imagined the map when having discussions about it. Plopping the Pizzeria down in the middle of the woods in Withered Isle so you don't have to cram everything inside the building. Though I hope it is a very large building with two or three generators inside so there's plenty of reason to run through it.
-
Mulder and Scully.
Tucker and Dale.

The meta will be enforced. Get ready to never get a good team because anyone with over 100+ hours dodges you for the sin of running Red Herring. No fun allowed.
-
On top of everything already said, I'm also experiencing a lot more lag problems. Even the slightest dip in ping causes me to rubberband like crazy. I'm vaulting pallets and getting teleported backwards to get hit. That's never happened to me before.
I am feeling almost zero motivation to boot up the game. Anything good in this update is drowned out by everything bad.

They definitely should rework iri button tho, this add on is super boring to play against, especially with the chase oriented legion changes recently
It'd feel better if it required at least one stab to activate, similar to his add-on that makes survivors drop items after the first Frenzy stab.
-
This is a very old survivor strat, I'm not sure BHVR has ever acknowledged it.

I think flower face nurse is just hilarious to look at lol
Getting your soloQ team wrecked in 5 minutes by a sentient bouquet is pretty funny, agreed.
-
My own problem with Orela is I can hear her voicelines when I am not playing as her, unlike every other voiced survivor. And she's making puns. Not even Nic Cage makes puns. Please fix this, I don't want to hear survivor voices from anyone besides myself.

What did rating the games do anyway?
Nothing, lol, same as the thumbs-up button.

You dont like flower face nurse ?
Flowerface Nurse is okay, probably the best cosmetic of the theme, too bad I don't play Nurse. Dredge is okay. Everything else I could leave, especially the survivor skins.
-
I'm still very much waiting on the promised survivor sounds equalizing. I do not want to feel punished because my favorite survivor just happens to be louder than others.
-
One of the challenges had a reward of 10 Iri Shards.
On one hand, good on BHVR for making Shards a quest reward.
On the other hand… 10? 10 Shards? That's like offering a starving man a dime.

The plant world can actually be pretty brutal. Take pitcher plants for example. They lure insects with sweet juices when the insects go inside the leaves close and the hairs point down making it near impossible for the insect to escape. The insect is then slowly dissolved alive by liquids inside the plant.
I think it's fair to say the execution could have been better but the nature/plant theme absolutely has horror potential.
I understand your point, I said as much in my post that I understand that the plant theme could be better than this, because there is potential for horror within a plant theme. But what we got is gowns and flowers, and I don't want to wear a scrap of it. I feel no desire to buy this Rift Pass whatsoever.
I've always been frustrated that my mains Adam and Jeff have never gotten Tomes, but now I'm not sure I want them to, if this is the quality of Rifts we're getting.

I had a bad feeling kaneki is going to be skull merchant v2.0 now look at this post. People hate him with a passion.
Kaneki players worked very hard to earn it.

my number one fear about the rift rework making it more like other more exploitative games that don't respect your time, and lo and behold, it's now just like every other exploitative game that doesn't respect my time!
no doubt if i quit playing, bhvr will see it as "we're losing players because the new survivor is trans! well, we'll just never add another trans survivor".
DbD was always exploitative, now they're kicking it into overdrive.
-
Definitely the worst Rift. The theme itself I don't like, but it could have been good or at least better than this. Everyone's dressed in pretty colorful flowers! How cute! Too bad this is a horror game, though it seems like a lot of people at BHVR have forgotten that.
The only good skins are the Singularity and maybe Dredge. Everything else is bad, tacky, ugly, and I would never want it in a game like this. The least ugly ones are the recolors of other skins, and that tells something.
The only thing this is going to be good for is the Iri Shards.
Why does every cosmetic have to feel like a costume out of a theatre play nowadays?

I don't agree that "anything goes", but I will agree that Adam Smasher fits into the game better than Vecna or even some original killers like Trickster.
Adam Smasher would fit just fine. He's the epitome of technological power, granted to a completely soulless human being who cares for almost nothing other than killing people weaker than himself for his own enjoyment. He's a cybernetic monster, advanced in design and depraved in nature. Smasher would be great so long as they came up with a good power that represented his overwhelming power.
-
If we can have DnD, then we can have Cyberpunk.
-
Actually, I do have one problem: calling them "quests" is bad, and I would rather keep calling them "challenges" or "rituals" or "tasks" or anything else.
-
I think being able to do multiple tasks simultaneously is going to be a great change. That's the only real opinion I have.
-
How does this matter?

I’m so glad the stealth killers are getting love. Even if it might be accidental I’m still glad Ghosty is easier to play!
pits been a while since I played Unknown so I don’t really know their stare down mechanic all too well.If Unknown splats you with purple, you have to stare at it to make the purple on you go away, or else more purple splats will hurt you.
-
Most of my matches have at least one map offering, from survivors and killers alike.
Got a tunneling TTV. Went to his stream after and got to hear the streamer mocking me for getting tunneled.
Not the best DbD experience so far.
-
This power design much better fits the concept of a high-tech tracker than the previous iterations of SM. The Claw Traps effectively being bombs attached to survivors that she chases down and detonates is a clever idea. Overall I'm looking forward to this rework, sounds interesting to play as and against. Lay drones as traps in loops, herd survivors towards loops, hit them with drone, attach Claw Trap, then chase them down and blast them. It's a little complicated but it's good that it requires effort so long as it's powerful enough to make the effort feel worth it.
-
The event was interesting ideas executed extremely poorly. After the first week every match felt painful.
-
The better question is why is blocking the exit gate a part of his power in the first place.
-
Its design is supposed to be ambiguous that it could be many different things but never confirms to be one of them. Is it an alien? A demon? An escaped lab project? Who knows. Does it steal people's bodies or merely imitate them? Does it mimic them to blend in or to taunt its victims? Who knows. It's unknown. Government cover-ups, cults, invaders from outer space, interdimensional evils, all possible origins. The only thing that seems to be concrete is that it excretes a hallucinogenic venom.

I think the best way to do this would be with licenced cosmetics as opposed to a chapter.
Felix = Fred Cosmetic
Kate = Daphne Cosmetic
Michaela = Velma Cosmetic
Shaggy = Dwight Cosmetic
And then wraith could have a cosmetic of just a white table cloth over him with the eyes cut out.
I'd buy the ######### outta that.
There is that Dredge community skin that makes it into a bedsheet ghost, should come out in a Rift, hopefully this year.
-
Wish I had your luck, I can't kick a single pallet without flashlights in my eyes. Sometimes from survivors I'm not even chasing.

I think my most biggest concern coming into the SM rework is that you can physically control the drones and use them to monitor survivors, right? Because while that sounds cool doesn't it kind of make her PDA/Radar completely useless? In terms of information and tracking at least which kind of blows because it's a unique tracking mehanic that essentially gives you real-time positions of survivors and no other killer has that. I'd rather not see an important mechanic get watered down into near-redundancy.
You physically control the drones then ram them into the survivors as an attack. Do this enough and SM eventually gains map-wide radar tracking and knows where everyone is for a while without needing drones to track them.
