The flame turrets really do need a little more aggression.
It's very easy for the killer to stay in crawler mode and be hit by one. The slow down of carrying one and setting it up is already a hindereing effect to the survivors. Just seems dumb to slowly carry it to a crossroad, set it and then loop the killer to it only to have the killer run through it, on fire and still tail down you like nothing happened.
Ehh I've seen people able to constantly have the turrets up constantly meanwhile able to get gens done. I think the flame turrets are in a good spot where they are.

Fact: It can be proven to be true or false through objective evidence.
Opinion: Is a statement that expresses a feeling, an attitude, a value judgement or belief.
So its toxic for the other team to try and win in an efficient matter? If all 4 survivors split on gens and all of them get completed in 5 minutes while every survivor pre drops while I play pig or myers do I get the right to call them toxic? Or is it a "just get good ######### killer" moment despite the killer not having the tools to apply map pressure?
-
Honestly as it is now I think xeno is fine.

Sorry but intentionally targeting and ruining a persons playing experience Is toxic and it being efficient doesn’t change the fact it’s annoying, unfun, and toxic lol. Other games strive away from unfun and annoying experiences and make playing in a toxic way typically a disadvantage meanwhile dbd strongly encourages being as toxic on both sides as you can be lol. Literally neither side is fun at all because this playerbase is one of the worst I’ve been in and I played overwatch in 2016-2021 💀
Sorry that dbd at its core is just unfun? The core of the game =/= the playerbase being toxic.
-
I think the perks fine. You eventually learn the locations of all the lockers on each tile (if its a tile that can have one) with time.
-
Playing efficient (tunneling and camping) is not toxic in the slightest.
-
Mixture of lag + nemesis coding is the reason why you're getting hit. The tail does have a lingering hitbox that you can run back into and get hit.
-
Despite it starting with knight... hes still not that good of a 3 genner.
-
Since it will be a licensed chapter that means its most likely from a horror series with no iconic "survivors" from that... So I'll stick to fnaf.
-
MFW when my 3 gens come from survivors not doing gens i've been near.
-
Because this community has proven why DC penalties should be in the game. People still get their free "dc" by kermitting on first hook which to solve that would probably be better to just save the self unhook option until 3 slugs or 2 survivors left.
-
I just want sound to work in this game. I love hearing a person right in front of me having footsteps but put a paper thin wall between me and them and suddenly they're danny phantom and not even making breathing noises while full on running and no chase music to drown out any noise at all or anything.
-
I honestly wouldn't mind a bleed yourself out option after multiple people have been slugged for X amount of time in return that we get base kit blood warden for the game detecting that all survivors are either dead/near gates without being in chase.

Honestly, no it's not.
But keep babbling on.
My brother in christ I've seen so many people just either rush or their teammates rush grandpa awake and dies a minute later because of it. It is a skill issue.
-
Honestly kind of a skill issue if you die within 2 minutes of the match on TCM.
-
Yes because the game is very dull and its 50 shades of gray.
-
Because allowing for even more self sufficiency makes the game even more campy.

Comp players like this are why dbd is in such an unfun state. Meta perks come and go maybe chill out. It's supposed to be a fun party game. Let's try and get back to the fun. This perk was only created because of how comp killer side of dbd has become.
"supposed to be a fun party game" This perk literally makes the game more boring by allowing less mind game potential and enables holding W more.

Sorry, I should have specified that I was talking about cosmetics. If they bought cosmetics and then lost access to the character that the cosmetics belong to.
If they could have bought the cosmetics from before they were removed from the shop then they could have definitely just bought the ST chapter before it got removed given that it was what on a permanent 30% discount from when it was announced?

I didn't even know about this feature but it's really sad that Steam decided to do that.
Eh its a policy that has been in place for even before DBD's time. If anything from Valves POV it could be seen as intentionally breaking policy.
-
Yeah "prevent map repeats" is just in a row. You can still get borgo into RPD west back into borgo.
-
I just think the infuriating part is that as killer you have to do SO much more to actually play well than someone with perks basically playing the game for them. Like if you're playing a niche killer it doesn't matter your mind games when they just have a 3% faster speed boost while injured while having perma walls to any pallet or window. It makes the skill gap non-existant because of perks making no truly equal play ground for dbd because perks always make up for it on both sides.
-
Basically perma agro with it. You put pods in front of the survivor to infect them and then you CAN right click normally to Tp to them but you can still also pod in front of the next tile to make you teleport between them and the tile.
-
Don't worry the dbd community will take hold of TCM soon enough and will start crying for nerfs and buffs soon enough.
-
Eh until this game actually feels like the stuff I do effect a match then maybe.
-
Cause BHVR is so insistent on this MMR system on a game and playerbase that can't support it.

Blight's addons are not his only problem. Having both the best chase and best mobility in the game is ridiculous. You are unable to do anything as a survivor unless your entire team is playing at comp level efficiency. He needs some sort of speed bump to prevent him from downing someone and then immediately rushing across the entire map to down someone else. You simply don't have time to do anything if the blight is sufficiently skilled. People need to go watch Momo's 1300+ win streak if you think this killer isn't insanely broken in the right hands. Guy doesn't even use broken addons. Find me another "competitive" game where someone can win this many games in a row. A killer this strong is fine but Made for This is OP. Ok then.
Ah the 1k winstreak that was built upon 4 insane slowdown stacking, hyper tunneling/camping, addons and East Coast which is basically known for its bad players.
-
I mean if you catch people out in the open and only use his power to traverse the map it feels nice. But as soon as you try to curve on any new map some sort of collision will ######### you.
-
@I_am_Negan said:
Because that's the only way to play killer apparently.
Base kit buffs lesser pallets and still camp and tunnel.
And they wonder why certain killers won't get buffs.
"less pallets" I would like to introduce you to every new map since eyrie.

Well as long as urobends get to stay.

Today's matches and EU servers.

Hag has hate because she is usually camp based killers (camping hooks and gens). Trapper, i don't see hate for him tho. Twins are usually slugging and hate is coming from that. Artist, i don't see hate for her as well.
And i don't think all killers needs buffs tho. Artist and Hag are fine killers. Twins and Trapper should be changed tho.
Not sure why you're surprised why you're getting a lot of blights and nurses in the EU region and later in the day.

Region and the weekend?

The overcharge skillcheck does not need to be nerfed what?

To fight against hackers and to stop people hoarding an unreasonable amount of BP.
It doesn't really matter anymore because you dont lost items upon prestiging. And its not like people could just hoard BP codes/challenges until the release of a new killer. Ive seen a person with upwards of 3.1 mill in the bank and 2 mill in challenges/dailies.
-
You can touch tunneling when I don't have to spend 5 hours holding W to catch a survivor because maps seem to be loaded with pallets. Like sure some maps got nerfed but then they released the rework for gas heaven and it make smain way more accessible and has a noticeable abundance of pallets around it. And every new map from eyrie on ward has just been a clusterfuck of busted main buildings or abundance of resources.

Grrr I just want more than one item to be consistently useful
https://r2.e-z.host/438a3e69-40d2-4994-a0bb-d5fbaabd097d/xcrl5q8h.png
Medkits and toolboxes are still good its just you cant have everyone bring 4 and have 3 self heals per medkit. Also flashlights are still very good with you being able to start the blind early but still "save" them because funny .4 second buffer that makes em nearly brainless.
-
No because people would shop for games
-
While yes camping slugging and tunneling by themselves don't make you good... It's when to know to apply those strategies that make you good. Because if playing off people constantly swarming or staying out in the open doing no gens doesn't make you camp then that's just losing out of an opportunity to make 3 people be doing nothing.
-
So are we forgetting completely invisible from 20 meters and beyond AND undetectable as part of his base kit?
-
Well simple really Konami doesn't really care about Silent Hill anymore so they're willing to give their license away and Capcom has a lot of different things they're doing so I can't exactly say.

I’d also like to add:
- F11 tech: mostly used on Wesker or Demo, pressing F11 to frame cap as you M2 allows you to get outside of a map (mainly RPD) or literally “lags you out” as an advantage to dash farther – much worse than hug teching and exploitable
- Gesture teching: can be used for distance (especially at the exit gate or a pallet), hell, you can even do this while in chase to gain a few extra steps.
- Vacuum tech: a lot of killers accuse survivors of cheating for this but vacuum teching is manipulating your movement and the prompt to vault or drop which allows you to literally suck yourself into a vault or pallet drop
- Pluto tech: mostly used against Blight, also works against Wesker sometimes but this bug makes both of them slide off you when you run at them in the start of their rush/dash.
- To add to crouch teching: it also works against Deathslinger & Victor
- Linger/Drag/Slide tech: as Shroompy mentioned, holding & dragging Nemi’s tentacle gives him a wider hitbox
- while rare but can happen: the WGLF bug that literally allows you to vault or do actions 100% faster
Well even as an old blight main I wouldn't consider pluto tech to be a bug at least when it was first found and applied. Cause it used to just be stand in front of a tree or object the blight is aiming for (on first rush because you can't attack) because you aren't meant to be able to bump off survivors therefore you slide to the side and miss your object. But seeing how you can make a blight "vortex" (A term we blight mains made for the notorious snow trap in ormond) off of basically any wall then I would consider it a bug at that point because old collision would make you bump but with it being changed over the years just allows for it.
As for wesker IDK if that would even be applicable cause I personally haven't seen it.
-
Sure when you get survivors doing the same thing
-
I consider it to be tunneling when you literally ignore people going down for their teammate for only you to keep going after their teammate. Simply because it is derived from "tunnel vision".

The fact you can get exposed after it
Dramaturgy is entirely unviable in a competitive environment because of its drawbacks, but due to the nature of ranking up in this game (how you're still able to rank up after loosing/ being sacrificed) it's still going to be used a whole lot. This perk would be balanced in a game mode without badges where the only thing that mattered was escaping
Yeah no. The exposed doesnt last NEARLY long enough for killers to capitalize off it unless the rare occurance of endfury which if you're using it for pallet why are you waiting for a stun?
-
I think its more... you spend all this time learning a killer to end up only playing a slightly better version of an already weak killer.
-
Its not a wesker issue its a ping issue. Ping can affect both sides equally. People get hit around corners meanwhile my weapon just phases through a survivor while they are barely half way through the vault animation.
