Dang. Guess every perk has a con since they all waste perk slots.
Yes, true, why can't people wrap their head around this. Perks dont need cons when you can only have 4

You say this like it's a funny but actually I don't like picking up when I have a 4 man slug because of flip flop

A 4k for killer or an escape for survivor

Maybe if there wasn't so many perks that add a substantially amount of time to chases with gens getting done so fast right now most killers won't need a perk that shaves a lot of time from it. Or camping / tunneling, for that matter.

You mean... just like it does right now?
Oh
-
I think getting hit as the obsession should make them loose two tokens
-
I LOVE BEING RESTRICTED TO PLAY EXACTLY THE SAME WAY EVERY MATCH
-
This is such a strange post there's so many reasons why bhvr can't just snap their fingers and bring the game up to bg3 quality (whatever that means)
-
They better not, if I hear Dwight say *gulp* he's right behind me isn't he i'll punch a hole directly through my screen
-
Using flashlights to counter killer powers is outdated design
-
Counterpoint: you need to leave tunneling in because the game isn't balanced well

Shattered hope is bad lmao what would this change

I played a game against a Legion, this guy slugged one of us and did nothing else but stay near them so we couldn't pick them up. So far I understand it's a 'valid strategy' (I'm keeping my thoughts on this 'valid strategy' argument to myself but you can guess what I think of this players). But then again, in EG he slugged us all three remaining survivors and then just stayed there until we all bled out, nothing we could possibly do. Of course this was followed in the chat by the usual trolling and teasing, which is the least of my concerns. I took a clip of the eg with my phone but alas failed to take note of the username, though I did submit a foul play report. Should I take further actions? Can I? Regardless, I seriously think you have to step up your efforts to combat this, BHVR. It's rdiciulous the amount of work one has to put into reporting bad sportsmanship. Which, then again, happens too often. This one just was the one to push me into asking about it, but there are a lot of people who act like the worst during trials. And I'm just sick of this. As someone who hates unfair, mean attittudes overall, I'm just mad we allow these people to go on as they want. This is a problem with people all around the world, not only in gaming, and every time is always the same. Now, if I would speak my mind I would be the one banned for insulting and such, which is a clear reflection of how society works. This kind of behaviour should banish from society.
Bhvr has no way of knowing if it was malicious or if he was scared of power struggle or flip flop or whatever, so no it's not bannable
Things said in the endgame chat can result in bans tho

Remove endurance, put the haste on a time limit for mft.
-
Trapper has surpassed F tier and is in the hell zone with these new vaults I don't think they can leave them as they are
-
They should remove hatch so this doesn't happen
-
I wonder if making it so emps don't come back on their own is a good idea
-
Bhvrs designs go so hard I don't want them to have one of these generic things that come up when you look up monster

please bhvr if you make a new killer don't make another on who can teleport or place a billion trap or both that can camp everything on the map at the same time these type of killers are extremely toxic and really annoying to go against and there are way to many killers like that in the game
What do you mean these types of killers you're only describing hag and she isn't even that powerful

I just had a match where I had Boil Over, and we had preschool with basement in the shack. OMG, that felt like cheating. There was NO possible way the killer could get me to a hook, and I kept wiggling free, and then running back to the corner where the basement usually spawns. I aggroed him there for a while while everyone else did gens, and even though it was solo q I think everyone figured out what I was doing fairly quick. And eventually he gave up on me and chased other survivors instead. I also had Unbreakable, so I didn't mind if he left me slugged.
This so so so needs to be fixed.
I really don't feel like boil over needs the 33% progress when killer drops from a height

@justalilbit123 said:
I can't tell you how many times I need to bleed someone out simply because there are NO HOOKS ANYWHERE NEAR an area. It's not fun for me, it's certainly not fun for them, them thinking I'm trying to make them suffer when I literally can't play the game because I sacrificed someone on a hook and that was the only hook for 10 miles.
I totally agree here, it's not like it's any sort of outplay that the survivor got downed away from hooks it's just rng

Idk why twins pickrate is so low but they're my favourite killer and I am not looking forward to the rework in the slightest

Where did you get 13s when kicked? Directly from wiki:
Survivors can perform the Crush action on him, crushing him in the process and forcing him to re-grow on Charlotte's after 6 seconds.
So 6 seconds...
As for your after hit and 43s:
Charlotte can voluntarily recall Victor after 30 seconds
IDK about you, but 30+6 is not 43...
Twins are really strong if you know how to play them. There's a reason why most players rate them quite high. There's also a reason why most people don't play them - that is, because they wait for everything and feel very bad to play because of it. If those CD's would be lower, then they would be more fun. But strength-wise - they can get hit pretty reliably if you as a player are good enough (especially thanks to healing nerfs).
Thought it was 6 mb
And I have more arguments but this is an internet argument neither of us are gonna back down and this is boring

Not true. You injure everyone and than go on a killing spree with victor. Provided they don't go in pairs, you can down their whole team. If not, you get 6s CD and need to go from charlotte's starting point. Not that bad considering Victor's speed.
"Provided they don't go in pairs" this entire post is here because they do go in pairs
It's a 13s cd when you get kicked and a 43s cooldown when you hit a healthy surv

https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/386107/twins-counterplay-is-way-too-strong
If you jump into a locker victor can hold you there for Charlotte to arrive and grab you out of it... I mean sure if you are on the opposite side of the map then she probably wont reach you, but she gets 10 seconds to get there, according to the wiki, which is around 46m so unless you are on some god forsaken indoor map or on the opposite side of the map you have a good chance to get a locker grab.
As for the low tier claim, as far as I'm aware most people place Twins in bottom of A tier or high B tier, so I wouldnt call them low tier... For exampel:
Hens333 (accessable over his stream with command !tierlist):
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CY1K4TFINNLZ/image.png
or Knightlight (for a comp setting)(accessable over his stream with command !tierlist):
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/NHDWFK6F8MV3/image.png
Therefore I don't think it is reasonable to place them in "Low tier"...
Don't take the word of other peoples tier lists as law, especially from people that don't play the killer they're ranking. I can't see how a killer with this much counterplay can be mid tier in a comp setting
And about the locker thing, 10 seconds is awful lmao considering it takes 3 seconds to switch back from victor and it's very rarely a straight shot to the locker
-
@DEMONANCE said:
when you give a killer a 150% movement speed with no terror radius or red stain that can jump through pallets and windows and can switch to another killer to be in more than one place then that killer needs to have counterplay.
until twins get reworked to make them more fun to go against they definitely need these stuff to stay.
this is bhvr's fault for making a poorly designed killer.
Victor can't hook or damage gens and dies when he gets a single hit
-
@DaddyMyers_Mori said:
Just lower CD, fixed.
Skill check is bonus. Ability to regress other gens on map would be decent, if it weren't for that high CD.
But it literally does nothing rn vs competent survivors because of the skill check, it's a perk that gives you a 90 second cooldown for a regular gen kick
-
Twins wake-up takes 3 seconds, and you only get the hook notification after the unhook has happened. If they made it so you could switch whilst near hook currently it still wouldn't be that powerful, 3 seconds is more then enough to make plenty of distance and get the endurence survivor in front of the non endurence one
-
@Gandor said:
Sure. Keep it in. Suddenly 100% of killers use victor near dhope and the game is all about single perk and getting 3 hooks.... No thank you.
And if you are talking - most people don't know about possibility to crounch, then you should not talk about counterplay to twins - because most people don't know about walking in pairs, going to lockers when you have distance, abusing stairs, etc. It's exactly the same argument. There's a counterplay, but you have to know what to do.
All that twins actually need are more lenient cooldowns. Switching from Charlotte to Victor and back takes ages for no good reason. They would immediately feel better should they fix this. Also why kicking Victor means power is disabled for 6s, but actually hitting survivor with Victor means your power is disabled for WAY longer? If anything, it should be the other way around (but ideally the time to use Victor again should not take that long).
Victor already has counterplay outside of the crouch thing, having victor on totem the entire match and not having him for chases is awful

That double standard is exactly what I have a problem with. It shouldn't help either side, and 99% of the time survivors are in charge of when EGC starts unless the killer abandons their objective to go complete the last part of the survivor's objective for them which allows them to freely walk out of the exit gate.
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3501124#Comment_3501124
They can make the time a little longer for all I care. Personally I think the timer should be at least twice as long as it is now but start as soon as the final generator pops. Obviously exit gate perks would need to be tweaked. I just don't believe either side should be able to mess with EGC.
Like I said, as it is now survivors both control when EGC starts in 99% of cases and they get to slow the timer down to help them escape. It just needs to be completely neutral. Nothing more than a mechanic to end the game.
Potential 8 minutes egc??? For a 24 sec gate???

That's called: "The survivor wins". Whatever happened to get the survivor in that state, was a gameplay, that left the survivor in a winning position. The killer simply doesn't deserve that kill and thus should not get it.
It's caused by rng from bad hook placement not survivor playing better

I don't know, I think 9k shards is pretty fair considering it's paid content. I have every original killer and survivor (plus a boatload of cosmetics) and never paid for a single one of them.
FOMO aside, this game's monetisation is pretty fair IMO.
But it shouldn't really be paid content? The game cost money?

You're a new player with less than 100 hours, according to your other post, and you're already complaining about a primary mechanic in the game. Maybe the game just isn't for you?
I have around 800 hours, restarted because new console that's why other post says I have 80

Solo que woes:
Gate open, player hooked right next to it. Multiple people still in trial.
Option 1: Leave. They go crazy about how you didn't help get the last person off hook. Also should be an easy save so no reason to not really try unless it is Bubba or a near tier 3 Myers.
Option 2: You work with them to get the person off hook. Person from the hook doesn't bodyblock for you, but bodyblocks you from the exit as they try to leave first with borrowed time still up and you injured. You get downed and they rest of the team leaves. You get sacrificed.
Option 2b (not every time): Team members or killer trash talk you in the endgame chat for dying. Sometimes killer BM on hook.
Been my life for the last 3 days. It's fine when it happens every once in a while, but it is literally every single game that makes it to endgame for me lately.
Just ignore other people

I'm pretty sure bhvr has forgotten this game costs money

One huge change they can make to prevent disabling Corrupt early is simply that Plot Twist can't be used while Broken. Then, Terminus gains a huge buff, No Mither becomes useless, and Plot Twist retains its current intended usage applications.
Hard agree they should do this

Slugging is not an issue that warrants a fix literally ever
The amount that people want to implement "fixes" for alternate playstyles just because they don't find them fun is frankly absurd. Tunneling shouldn't of been fixed, camping shouldn't be fixed.
You know what I don't find fun? Being forced to play the exactly how the opposite team want me to play

@Luv2NotHateDBD said:
It's like running reliance it promotes a high-risk high reward style playthrough.
It's balanced around that you can use it with exhaustion so it can't become problematic like old dead hard.
But it doesn't force a high risk high reward playstyle, if you just play like normal you get 20% longer chases with 0 downsides

bodyblocking with endurance puts you in deep wound then leaves you open to being tunneled. It’s so risky and I don’t personally ever see survivors do it. Maybe I’m SWF but even then the person who blocks doesn’t get away; they just end up hooked again. Lol. I dunno what they could do with Buckle Up. I guess they could make it bad again.
Deep wound is the most non punishment ever either you get chased and get downed and deep wound doesn't help killer or you run away, mend and get right back to doing what you were doing
And it doesn't make you susceptible to tunneling any more then existing does
-
@GannTM said:
If you don’t camp and tunnel then it won’t be that much of an issue.
Anyone is allowed to play how they want
-
I feel like you shouldn't be able to bodyblock with hook endurence and buckle up needs to be reverted then reworked other then that I'm not sure. Endurence feels cheap and unfair as a killer but it isn't very common (outside of current patch)
