  • Playing Plague with no addons. Have fun.

  • Because usually when I use static blast I use it to find where they are and not if someone is in my area. If I hear no screams then I start looking in lockers. It suprisely helpfully without using a perk slot. But that's just me.

  • I'm on xbox and there's time where they still vault. I think it's because on their end they pushed the button and starting to vault and then they get shock while on your end they're just hitting the window. I say just think a second ahead and shock them a bit early. That way they still can't vault and are forced to either stand there and try or continue the loop which should land a free hit.

  • Maybe a map in a map. So 1v6? Or whatever. So let's say you start in one map and once the exit gates are open you don't escape it's just another map. And need to repeat the cycle. The endgame collapse will play in the old map and what not and yes it would make the game a bit longer but I guess balance the rewards at the end to make it worth it. Also idk just a 3 second idea. Could be easily done without too much work as you just need to stable two maps together. Easier then making an entire new mode with a bunch of new assets and what not.

  • But Jane is the only survivor who has an accurate hit box.... (killer main by the way just making a joke)

  • @DoctorShockBoi said:

Nothing ever has. Nothing ever will as much as dbd. Lol

I read that with doctor laugh at the end.

  • Wait.... you get nervous playing killer? I mean I was same when I started playing survivor because I was scared but as killer you are the thing to fear. I guess just remember that. Be smart. Play to kill. End them. KILL THEM ALL! Uh.... ya something like that idk what to say. Just remember if they fear you they'll make mistakes and faulter. (Even red ranks suprisely.)

  • I noticed why some people would think he's op is because he can deny vaults and pallets if timed correctly. Although there were some who already have adapted and move away making me basically lose the ground I have on them making me have to go around again and try again. That's his weakness is if he misses in a loop he moves slower when he's charging up so he needs to land it. If not then he's at the risk of losing them to a vault or pallet stun. But once again it will take sometime for people to learn that and adjust.

  • I been playing him and I think he's strong but not impossible to beat. His downfall is if he misses a blast he's kind of in the dark on what to do unless he luckily finds someone. I had a couple games playing survivor and he seemed confused on what to do without it. So idk. Maybe it was smurf who just wanted to wipe new players. Also make sure you don't let him shock you with his thing since that's how I been winning. If you can't land those shocks then they can loop you. If you do land them they can't loop.

  • Hmmm I kind of like the idea. It would create more fearful being hit. Maybe perks can be introduced to increase that number as well something like tough skin raising it by an extra 3 hits or 5 or something. Either way hope devs think about it.

Designer team, you flopped this time... that sweater is so last year! it doesn't look anything like a rat, I know red is suppose to be the lucky color but this just makes it look even more like a Pig and not a Rat. And I'd imagine a Rat's ear would be a lot smaller, rounder, cuter, while a pig's ear is bigger with some sharp edges (which this one has)

"Hey Amanda what are you doing here?"

    "Give back my hoodie Susie"

But all seriousness the red is meant to represent Chinese new year... not be an actually rat. Also this a killer so being cute isn't their goal I imagine... unless chibi skins are coming.... but ya just my thoughts.

  • Someone excused me for cheating.... I was using Nurses calling.... also was playing on Xbox.... I mean can you even cheat on xbox?

  • I was killer one game and a survivor had this glitch happened to them... I killed everyone else and helped the blind survivor to the hatch. Take care blind Feng.

  • Ok are we talking about building wise or time wise (like what time it was during that location) because if time wise then Yamaoka Estate because Spirit is one of the more recent killers and it was right after her murder. If building wise then maybe Hawkins? Or Freddy's. Really depends on when it was built.

Hey it could happen. I'd run away from a Feng brandishing a butter knife.

As for Quentin, from his lore:

"[Quentin] devoured all the information he could, on shared dream worlds, lucid dreaming, and the methods to control the dream space. Forcing himself to stay awake... ...he searched through dusty volumes, finding myths about the demons that live in dreams, trapping their victims in limbo and feeding off their terror."

IMO Quentin learned about and studied the Entity while trying to understand Freddy. Like Hag, he learned the true nature of the Entity and possibly how to call upon it, if even only subconsciously.

After Quentin's plan to defeat Freddy by manipulating the Dream World against him fails this happens:

"[Quentin] wished it had been him, not his father, who threw the gas can that ended Krueger’s life, that it had been him who cut Freddy’s throat. Perhaps that desire would be enough? This was a realm of the mind after all. He let it consume him, concentrating all his thoughts on wishing Freddy gone. His vision was obscured with roiling tendrils of fog and, when it cleared, he was somewhere else."

To me it sounds exactly like what happened to Hag, Plague, and Spirit. Except they became Killers, while Quentin became a Survivor.

And in case you have any doubts, Freddy's POV confirms that The Entity grabs him when Quentin wishes him gone.

"Slowly Freddy closed in on the boy. His fear was so strong now that Freddy could almost taste it, but his eyes burned with a defiant hatred that was almost admirable. Freddy drew back his claws. Then Freddy felt another presence with him; something old, powerful and dark. A miasma enveloped him and the only sensation was a sound like wooden beams flexing and creaking in the distance. The echoing groan of metal crushed against metal. Something arcane and unknowable, half-way between language and pure terror."

Oh cool also did anyone see Paulie Esther new video and Freddy.... I really do hope it's not what we fear...

I think entity values diversity, why take a bunch of Demogorons when you can have a Xenomorph and Pumpkinhead too? I hear people say that the entity only cares about the trails but then why would it make cosmetics and such? I think the entity views the survivors and killers as a collection

We also know the group we can play as aren't the only ones in the realm because i remember the alchemist mentioning a place where everyone that's no longer useful to the entity ends up

Actually I have a theory that every cosmetic is actually an alternate version of that character so for an example Nurse having a War Nurse skin where's rottening from mustard gas. I believe in that universe Sally was attacked and killed by soldiers who were using gas or maybe it was her own side accidentally causing an explosion it doesn't matter. As she was slowly dying she goes and attacks her attackers killing them all and the entity took her noticing this version also has the same bloodlust as her original Sally. That way she now has 2 Sally's who can kill 2 Megs in 2 separate trials and each time a skin is added it's just another person pulled into the entity. This also explains why you can have 2 Fengs in a game. Also ya I'm going back on my original answer saying she only needs one. If this theory is correct then she has two.

  • Kind of related and kind of not related but I think the reason why he does the killings in the trials for ha father. Think about it. The Entity has been stated to manipulate them right? So why can't she (yes they called the entity a girl so fight me lol) trick him into seeing his father ordering him to kill those miners who are the survivors. He doesn't see a Meg or a Dewight, he just sees a maggot worker who needs discipline. Also another reason is because he's based of Jason right? Well Jason was mother little boy keeping the camp safe. Why can't Evan be Dad's little man keeping the mine safe?

  • Better question. Who has the best breath? Also you guys forgot Nurse. Say all you want about Spirit but Nurse is a corpse I say Spirit is a... well spirit. Her body wasn't taken just her soul and kind of proof of this is because reveal trailer she kind of floats down meaning she's more of a ghost the walking corpse. They probably didn't do this because it would be compared to Nurse to much. Just my thoughts.

  • I believe they were just taken before death. Like Feng I can easily see her being taken walking around town alone at night being drunk.... now my head canon is literally her getting into a drunk fist fight with an entity claw before getting taken because she showed "fighting spirit". But ya I believe most of them are much alive.

Since I have nothing better to do, I decided to put together a timeline for when each Killer's story took place. This took, honestly not that much time, but some of it is obviously questionable. And since a lot of these stories could have taken place during a large time period, obviously some Killers are in the wrong spot, but this is the best I could do.

Obviously, Adiris the Plague is the oldest Killer in the game. Babylon existed during 2300-539 BC. Using the knowledge that all the other priests got sick, I interpret that as towards the end of Babylon's reign. But since every time I look up Babylonian plagues, I instead get an album from a band called Iced Earth or the Ten Plagues of Egypt from Exodus, I'm just going to leave it at that. Either way, she is infected (likely through that toe she chopped off, exposing herself to the plague) and exiled herself. I will say this though, since it confuses me. WHY DID THE ENTITY TAKE ADIRIS??? NEVER ONCE DOES SHE KILL SOMEONE!!! Either way, she was desperate and prayed to her gods, and got the Entity instead.

Kazan Yamaoka, or Oni-Yamaoka was a samurai (though his actions make me believe him to be more akin to a Ronin, or samurai without a master, as his father, likely Renjiro, was his master and DID NOT approve of his actions. Plus the whole patricide thing). The question is from what time period. According to several sources, a former peasant by the name of Toyotomi Hideyoshi became a samurai and would eventually become one of the leading men of Japan, roughly around 1590, succeeding ODA NOBUNAGA. After this, he banned non-samurai from owning swords, in an attempt to keep Japan safer. You were either born a samurai, or you weren't. So Kazan has to be from before this time, as he was brutally murdering hundreds of peasant samurai. The period that Hideyoshi (Japanese names, at least back then, were family name, then personal name, so Kazan is actually Yamaoka Kazan, but it makes sense either way) ended was the Sengoku Period, from 1467-1600. That's a long time period to work with, but I'd say he's from around the middle of it, around 1530 to 1550ish, but that's just me.

Anna the Huntress comes from WWI. During the last paragraph of her backstory, it is mentioned that German soldiers are "on the march to attack the collapsing Russian Empire." Notice it says RUSSIAN rather than SOVIET. The German invasion of Russia occurred in 1914 (although I am currently unable to find that information now. Stupid Google search not liking me). She was taken by the Entity after the war ended, in 1918.

Sally the Nurse appears to either be around the time of WWI or WWII, judging by her outfit. If she is from WWI (EDIT: March 6: Which I believe to be the case due to her base outfit saying it is from the early 1920's, not mid), it would make her the third oldest Killer. But if she is from WWII, then Kenneth/Jeffrey begins before her. But his is a bit complicated, and will span a few other Killers' backstories.

Either way, since two decades pass during Sally's backstory, and I don't think they would change the Nurse dress code simply because of money restrictions, her story seems to end around (based on her being from WWI) the 1930's (EDIT March 19: which her base cosmetic description seems to infer) or (based on her being from WWII) the 1950's-1960's. She kills everyone in the asylum and presumably crashes the ambulance, killing everyone in it, before getting the Entity treatment

As I said, Kenneth's backstory takes place over a long time. We actually have an exact year for it's beginning. "Kenneth Chase was born in 1932 by a difficult labour, which his mother wouldn't survive." Doesn't get any more crystal clear. The last year mentioned is 1954, which also coincides with when I believe Evan the Trapper's backstory to occur.

Given that Evan and his father very clearly don't allow a union, they are either relatively new or really picking up speed. And given their extreme measures, I would believe unions to be nearing their peak in all honesty (also, since unions were around since 1881, they can't be a new thing, since Anna's story occurs well after that, and remember, she is the second. Obviously, Evan blows people up, and the Entity gets him.

While all of this is going on, the Cold War is in full swing and the CIA is likely getting Soviet spies. And who was hired by the CIA for interrogation? Herman Carter. The Doctor. Mr. Lag Attack himself (seriously, my computer is amazing but I lag every time against and as him). Presumably, he was hired around 1967, as that was when the Institute became a front for the CIA (thanks again Rattman). More on this in a bit.

Kenneth, now going by the name of Jeffrey, goes on for another decade, bringing us to the 1960's once again. I honestly can't tell how much time passes, but eventually, he rides his carriage into the Entity's realm. I'd say this takes place around the 1970's, but again, there are no real markers to tell us.

We pick back up for a brief moment for Herman for the 1970's, as the Institute thrived, and Project Awakening began. But there isn't too much else to tell for a little bit.

I'm just going to put Lisa the Hag here, in the 1970's, but she is one of the really annoying ones. There are NO markers to tell us when her story takes place (except for a few things about her home being from the 1800's, like the lightbulbs and paddleboats, but she wasn't before Anna), but I'm placing her here since, from what I can tell, the 1970's brought a resurgence of witch culture, which Lisa has plenty of. Even her WIP name was the Witch. But again, her story could have taken place at any time.

Hillbilly and Rin the Spirit are in the same boat. I would place Hillbilly sometime between the 1970's and 1980's, which is when the Poulan 306a was in production. Why is this important. Well... once again, there are no significant markers for Hillbilly, but I would assume he and Leatherface use the same chainsaw. (EDIT March 19, they VERY clearly don't use the same chainsaw. Just compare them for yourself at the store. I did however, while looking through things, noticed that the Coldwind Farm says "After the horrific events of 1972, the building fell into disrepair and eventual ruin." on the Thompson House map. So, that might be the best time to put him.) If someone can actually tell me what model of chainsaw Hillbilly (who is UNNAMED officially, but the wiki calls him Max Jr. [Edit - as DocOctober brought up, he is named Max Thompson Jr. in an official artbook, although his lore makes no mention of it for some reason) uses, then do so. I'm not a chainsaw expert.

Rin is the MOST complicated. Her story has no years, no significant events to talk about, and none of her add-ons help. I thought that her baseball cap would be something, but sport caps were invented in 1849, which is WAY before Anna. Then something caught my eye. "That evening, Rin came home from work. She'd stayed late to entertain customers that lingered at the restaurant. As she parked her bike in the shed, she heard her mother's scream the house."

As she parked her bike (I have no clue how to increase the font size here, so bolding will do). What's the relevance of this? Bikes weren't introduced to Japan until 1971! I can't place her exactly, but I can tell her story takes place after this. We will have to deal with this.
Of course, that was no help. As GamingZebra pointed out, the Japanese military used bikes in their invasion of China in WWII. So Rin is a serious issue that needs addressing. She is probably pretty modern, as PigNRun says, since she was working at a young age and her father was a salary person, but we might have to wait for something more concrete with her (got it, as I'll explain below).

If you count the licensed Killers as canon (which I do), then Leatherface arrived in 1974. My evidence is plain and simple. Texas Chainsaw Massacre was released in this year. Although, I have personally never seen the movie, so this could be different and I would have no idea.

Same goes for Michael Myers. Halloween was released in 1978, but I can actually find the timeline there. The movie starts in 1963, then 15 years later, Michael goes on his killing spree. 1963 + 15 equals 1978, so that adds up. But I am not putting Freddy here, because, like it or not, the in game Freddy is from the remake.

EDIT (January 17): The Léry's Memorial Institute was condemned in 1983, allowing us to take a break from liscensed killers and finishing off Herman Carter. After his experiments become torture to find mind control, he murders everyone and the Entity finds him.

~~Also in 1983 (winter, probably after Doctor was taken), we have the Demogorgon... I think. I've never seen Stranger Things, don't have Netflix, so everything I know about it is from the wiki for Stranger Things. Now, from what I can tell, the main Demogorgon that was seen was in Season One, taking place in 1983, with the ones in Season Two not being full grown, and only being seen in the final scene of Season Three. Seems pretty self explanatory.
Then I read the items. We have things from Season One (Barb's Glasses) and Season Two (Mew's Guts). This throws everything out of order. On top of this, the map is a mish-mash of everything AND some original stuff, and the Survivors are wearing their Season One outfits by default, but their quotes are from all over the place. And the lore is VERY vague about everything to do with Chapter 13 (and I hate this kind of lazy storytelling). Even the way the Demogorgon was taken is not in its backstory, but rather hidden away IN ITS POWER!!! And it was just a hole that opened up and swallowed it. Nothing about how the Entity controls it, or how the Demogorgon reacted. Nope. Just a hole in the ground and boom, we have a Demogorgon.
Through all of this, I have lost my mind several times over, and still can't confidently place it. So why 1983? It makes sense. This is the Demogorgon that we saw in the first season (well, everyone but me it seems). I mean, sure. This could just be some RANDOM Demogorgon that the Entity RANDOMLY decided to grab... but that's just boring. And it matches with the design of Nancy and Steve being from Season One (and say what you will about them being older than 16 and 17, even in Season Three, they are 18 and 19, still below the normal age. You say they are from Season Three, you break the "No teenagers" rule, and you will have a hard time explaining it away. Avoiding bad PR is good, but you can't expect everyone to believe it forever). This IS the ORIGINAL Demogorgon. It's the only thing that makes sense. And yes, I read that the original got blown up or something... but be honest. Do you REALLY want a boring, RANDOM Demogorgon over the original one that we had?~~
(EDIT: October 15) So. We have a problem. As Mikeadatrix pointed out, the Demogorgon we have uses the Season 3 model, seen at the very end. Because I have never seen the show, I assumed they were pretty much the same model from the first season, but it turns out they are not. From a logical standpoint, and the one I now believe to be most likely, this makes this the Season 3 Demogorgon. It makes sense. The items, quotes, map, everything. It works with this being the Season 3 Demogorgon. from a story standpoint, however, it's... disappointing. And it just doesn't feel right. It makes sense, but it doesn't, if that makes any sense. I guess it's better than a RANDOM Demogorgon, but not by much. So, 1985 is my current final answer.

Next up, we have Philip the Wraith. I put him in the 1990's as this was when the Russian mob appears to have been the most active. Why am I talking about the Russian mob? Philip's boss is named Azarov. Azarov is a Russian surname. He disposes of people using a car crusher. To me, that seems like a VERY mob-like way to get rid of someone. On a side note, why DID the Entity take Philip. Is it the same as Rin, where the Entity picked up on his anger or something?

For all the hell that Chapter 12 was, from Danny Johnson's initial powerlessness to not having a map or Survivor, there is one thing that they did pretty well. The lore. Told in the style of a newspaper, we get to somewhat know who Danny/Jed Olsen/Ghost Face really is. And they give us a pretty much exact date. The newspaper is a week old, published on June 18, 1993 (can we just appreciate how this is also his release date? Again, for the hell that it has been, BHVR has seriously impressed me as well). So he was taken roughly around June 25, 1993. Thanks for making my job easier here.

The Legion would be in the same boat as Rin, maybe even worse, if it wasn't for Susie. Normally, I wouldn't consider cosmetics to be canon, but the devs seem to have out of their way to give us a year with Susie that I'll consider her two cosmetics canon. Her sweater on both of them give us the year 1996 (also shown in their photo that takes you to Ormond). They kill the janitor and get grabbed by the Entity (unfortunately, as I've figured out in the past, they are NOT grabbed with Jeff, which is a wasted opportunity and a half).

EDIT: As of January 15, I have actually found something for Rin. It is far simpler than I had originally believed, which is probably why I missed it in all honesty. The university she goes to, Takamatsu, wasn't established until 1996. Meaning this is the EARLIEST year she can be from, and I'd wager that she's probably later than that. But that's as far as I can go with her.

The final two are easy. Amanda's story includes her death from Saw III. "She failed the test and took a bullet as a consequence. Bleeding out on the tiled floor, darkness engulfed Amanda's vision, accompanied by a sound like creaking wood." With Saw III being released in 2006, it feels to me like that is when her story takes place.

And once again, Freddy Krueger is from the 2010 remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street, likely because they couldn't get the rights to Robert Englund's character, so they settled with Jackie Earle Haley instead (I know people are going to hate me for this, but I like this version of Freddy a little bit more, just without the sexual predator part. Englund's version got a bit too comical, and I like the burn effects).

    TL;DR
    Plague (Roughly 539BC)
    Oni (Around 1530-1550)
    Huntress (1918)
    Nurse (1930s/1950s-60s)
    Trapper (1954)
    Clown (1970s)
    Hillbilly (1972)
    Leatherface (1974)
    Michael (1978)
    Doctor (1983)
    Demogorgon (1985)
    Wraith (1990s)
    Ghost Face (1993)
    Legion (1996)
    Spirit (Post 1996)
    Pig (2006)
    Freddy (2010)
(Hag has no clear time markers, so I left her out of the TL;DR)

That took way too long to type. If there are any glaring issues, please tell me. I'll see what I can do to fix them.

Reason for Adris is because she's a religious person. The entity is a god like being that saved her. I think she's going to do whatever that god wants.

  • Why would she need more then one? Also if she takes too many the thing (I forgot its name) might notice. Unless... they're the same..... plot twist.

  • @TheRockstarKnight said:

The Entity chooses you or you choose you The Entity.

It can take the souls of those who die into it's realm or it can take them physically if their is a thin enough barrier between it's world and theirs.

As for how it chooses roles, there's no way of knowing.

Adiris was made a Killer when she begged the Entity to save other people out of hope and despair while Quentin was made a Survivor when he called upon the Entity to kill Freddy out of hate and bloodlust.

Like as not, the Entity just picks who it wants for a given role. It doesn't necessarily need a system. Why should it follow rules?

As for the Alchemist being both, the game and gameplay don't equate to the lore.

There are many more Killers and Survivors than those we're able to play as, some of them may switch roles on a dime. The playable roster merely represent those that are the most dedicated and exemplary of that role. The Entity might not want or allow one of it's best Killers to become a Survivor for a brief period of time.

Or it's entirely possible the playable cast do switch around too in the lore, but don't in game for the sake of making the game easier to understand. A new player would probably be confused if Evan MacMillan was killing them one game and helping them do gens the next.

Or perhaps that was just part of the Alchemist's ability to leave the Entity's Realm. If you've read his lore you know that he went outside the trials for a period of time. If he left and re-entered periodically in the past he might have had free reign to choose which role he wished to 'play' the Entity's games as.

Now I'm just thinking of a 4 man team of killers being chased by a Feng Min killer who has a little butter knife.... also has the Freddy thing been confirmed? That's what happened with those two?

Most of the gamer population dont understand how coding a game works. They always see the visuals of the product I.E inside of a cave while exploring. They dont realize the countless hours it takes to make the lighting and textures while making it synch up with other aspects of the game without creating issues with say a underground forest in another area.

They may understand that it is code, but they do not seem to understand that a single error of a random digit can have drastic effects in another spot.

Either way good work patching the basement issue ASAP keep it up.

Literally came here to say that. Sometimes it just as easy as changing a line of code while others you have to redo the entire system. (Also killer main)

  • Personally I'm fine with the recolors because some people like the idea but not the color. This way if someone wants it to be a different color then boom. Beside it's better then no recolors.

  • Hag because jump scares get me....

I've been playing her, basically as my main, for several months now.

I run Dying Light, Thanatophobia, Pop Goes the Weasel and BBQ (which could basically be substituted for anything) and no add ons. I'd say I average over 3 kills with her at this point, but that's just an estimate.

There are several issues with Plague.

One, survivors really don't want to cleanse. As others have said, it feels bad to play a killer who pukes for the first minute or two, then has no interactive power and just M1s. It doesn't matter that they're broken, or whether you can get kills, she loses that element of "fun" when your M2 button no longer does ANYTHING.

For the most part I find the intense slow build solves it. As Dying Light stacks up, survivors get stressed and cleanse to lessen Thana which allows you to gain Corrupt and go to town. As much as people love to say "nobody ever cleanses," running this I've found more than half of all games devolve into cleansing pretty fast, even in the red ranks. One person making a decision forces everyone else. That said, I don't think being cornered into 3 stalling perks in order to get the power to properly motivate people to interact with it is good design.

Second, she is unrewarding to play. You 3 hook everyone? You kill everyone? You safety pip. You also get like 20-25k bloodpoints. Plague's point and emblem gain is pathetic, so when you do well and get a really disappointing scoreboard it can be demoralising to keep playing her. Her Deviousness needs serious adjustment to reward her for long periods of everyone being broken. (maybe scale the "Purged" bonus on attack by how long the survivor has been broken for) Her hunter and brutality points should also count for 1.5x-2x points if the survivors stay broken for a long time, to prevent her losing half of her points from chases and hits just because survivors choose not to cleanse. Her chaser and malicious emblem points should also scale appropriately, because other than repeatedly slugging people, there's no way to max those emblems with the amount of chases and hits she gets in a regular 12-hook 4k.

I think we're likely to see a change in the way slows stack. Forever Freddy is probably a large part of the reason his kill rate is so high, so I'm thinking DL/Thana's combo won't stack as well, or will be nerfed in values. In that case, I really hope Plague finally gets a repair debuff added to her sickness, as she really needs that extra motivator to be effective.

Actually this is one of my main issues with Plauge myself. Today I spent all day playing her and only once I got 2 pip and that game took more then 30 mins and was me just making sure every survivor was having the worse time of their life. I got lots of brutal and ruthless despite killing everyone or 3 of them with all gens unfinished. That's one reason why I mained Spirit for the longest time because Plauge didn't get results despite doing what every other killer does but doesn't get the same reward of ranking up. I seriously think there needs to be more points rewarded.

Yeah but there’s 2 problems with that.

    1) it’s not hard to tally up a high volume of puking on objects if she’s played properly

    2) Corrupt Purge activating randomly in this manner is as bad as the reset. It normally hinders plague rather than helps her. Corrupt Purge is only a benefit and strong when SHE chooses to activate it.

It would corrupt the closest fountain when filled so you can still decide when to use it.

    Lol!!!!

Look, I love to win, but even I can see how unfair and broken that would be.

Oh no it's not like puke on one gen and you get it. It's more like you build it up slowly. So a object would be like 5 meaning you have to do it 20 times to get it and a survivor would fill it up but by per second they are being puked on. Should get you one fountain. If that's still too strong just play around with the numbers. Make it 40 times or something idk.

  • What if infecting things earns you corrupt purge?

  • Maybe if you don't cleanse and continue to do actions that will make you sick you can be put in the dying state? So like deep wounds but for sickness. So basically gives them a double sickness bar. Also to make sure this isn't broken maybe make that bar twice as big so it's still possible to escape the killer and cleanse or risk it to complete a gen. Idk just something to deadly but not as bad as deep wounds.

That chapter literally had no influence on the playercount. As if nothing was released that day, not even a little playerspike...sad

Really because she was one of my favorite killer design wise. So much going on with a cool backstory. Shame.

  • I should of made this a discussion.... my bad. So how would you guys fix her? (Or should that be different discussion....) because personally I think sick survivors should have a bigger penalty for being sick to make them want to cure themselves. Something that's not too powerful but something which is like ya I need to get better. Maybe a speed debuff to make them slower meaning chases are harder.

  • Would making it where he can hold the charge be too strong of a change? Or would be it be good? Or maybe where he can charge up and cancel to just charge up again (can he do that already?) Idk be nice to see some mind games introduced to sorts.

Pig hasn’t received enough nerfs either. Make it so she can put a trap on her own head so she can kill herself :D

No she starts with the trap on her head and if they get one gen done the timer starts and she has to go find boxes to get it off.

  • Ya that's right... Plauge is mid tier... carry on.

Why? Well, just flip the coin around.

Imagine how fun it would be to rescue someone, get MYC'd, and then literally go down in the next 2 seconds because she suddenly popped up right in front of you.

To that end, the perks say you, the killer must be X meters away. Not "your terror radius must be X meters away". Perks effected by the terror radius are effected by the terror radius but the terror radius is not always on the killer.

What they said. This is exactly why. Since it would promote camping Spirit who can get their stacks really fast and start killing people.

  • I would make it where hitting them you lose some progress but not all. Or maybe not idk I'm a killer main so trying to think of the survivors side.

That's why they need to do the fixing in short bursts. Skip a chapter or something and focus only on untangling that messy spaghetti code.

I thought that was what mid chapters were for......

  • I feel the reason they can't just stop and fix bugs is because people will lose interest and stop playing plus no new revenue. Like imagine this. They say year 5 will be a big fixing year only and the road map consists nothing but that, how many youtubers will do theories and discussions on the next bug to be fixed? Nobody. And it's not like they're not slowly fixing them as time goes on just not as a fast as some people hope but at the end of the day I'm pretty sure they have a small team who just does that and fixing bugs isn't as easy as making new content since you need to do problem solving. Idk just my take on it.

  • I think it would need it's own maps and own objectives. Like starts in sections. First one is big and lots of hiding spots with 6 gens and only need to do 3 or so to move on. Then the next room will be smaller with less gens and less needing to be done. Repeat this one more time and boom exit gates and games over. Kind of designed to be hard to have everyone escape but if they all survive to the end.... ya those gens are done and gates are open. You can't stop them all from opening those gates kiddo. Idk just a quick idea I had. Probably busted as heck.

  • Legion rework idea. Make them a survivor.

  • @joker7997 said:

They should just all be purple, it's annoying looking for a perk alphabetically and not knowing it's color

Idea. What if there was a sort option. By alphabet, rarity or by function? Anyone?

  • So wait... for the longest time I thought the colors were due to them being harder to get on the blood web.... you're telling me the colors mean nothing?

  • My idea is make it a hex. So it's still powerful but can be taken away just as fast. Also if you people still think it's too powerful make it where each gen that gets done the time required to activate increases making it harder to use. I see it being nearly useless though in that state. But I do like the idea for the other perks. Maybe make it where tough runner when hit you get a increased speed duration and make no sounds. Also leaves no scratch marks since it just seems to match the name more. Tough runner meaning tough to track. Idk just an idea.
