A Slighty Different Suggestion - Survivor Killing

This one is a little different than most I have seen (unless it got buried), but what if there were a way to punish Survivors for playing excessively brassily and getting continually hit by the killer -- and in the process, slightly reduce the effectiveness of self-care since Devs have stated that they are too afraid to nerf self-care any further because SO many survivors use it?

My suggestion is simple: Cause survivors a sacrifice/death if they are knocked into the injured/downed state more than a considerably generous amount of times during a match -- something like, 10 -- that would be 5 full downs, or two downs (4) and then 6 injuries and running away to get self-cared or healed. This could be adjusted, but if the number is too large it basically ruins the purpose of this fix; 10 seems reasonable, 15 would be the most I'd go but that's still pushing it with 4 survivors.

What this would do is force Survivors to have to play more stealthily instead of bullying/trolling/teabagging/taunting the Killers into hitting them just so they can run away be healed by self-care or someone else hiding in a bush --- endlessly into the infinite abyss as they farm the killer for Bold points.

It would provide killers an alternative means of killing survivors that would require more creative counter-play instead of just 'body block and unhook with borrowed time'; and as a result, help speed up the game on the killer's side -- helping alleviate the generator rush problem that is not getting addressed.

  • Hmmm I kind of like the idea. It would create more fearful being hit. Maybe perks can be introduced to increase that number as well something like tough skin raising it by an extra 3 hits or 5 or something. Either way hope devs think about it.
