Kinda pin-worthy.

Ultra Rare!
Cause every Killer has a unique thing to them.

Adept wraiths will be ok🤣 not like we cant use devour hope as the teachable and still stomp🤣
That wasn't me being worried about my skills.
His Perks are simply extremely boring.
-
By going AFK, you actively allow whatever happens to happen.
If you want it to end more quickly, slap 'em out.
-
No Wraith cosmetics, so i'll be spending about €0.
-
Barbecue & Chili, Brutal Strength, Enduring, Spirit Fury.
"The Beast" - Soot to require less Surprise Attacks, Bone Clapper to make my intentions clear.

Same here, but on PS4 Slim. It's actually the best performance I've ever had since 2019.
Oh really?!
Now THAT'S something i'd love to hear more!

I'm sorry for bothering you, but you're not a mod, right? It said a mod commented on this discussion and when I click on the button it keeps sending me to your comment
It does that for me as well...
...That's weird, i'm indeed not a moderator.
Anyway, the moderator comment is from MandyTalk on page 4.

Not sure if someone else responded to you or not but you can set your spawn preference as Jason. If everyone else has their preference set as Default or Counselor, you're going to be Jason 100%. If other players also had a Jason spawn preference that is what lowered your odds.
I preferred it this way though, no side to que in to so no long que times. I found full lobbies of 8 players in less then a minute consistently.
I want my chance to be Killer 100% all the time though.
Glad to hear F13 lobbies didn't suck, but my lobby times in DbD are great too, i can find a game in the evening in 20 seconds.
-
The only times i'm genuinely bored as Killer are when i have to do things to use their Killer Power that does not involve the Survivors.
- Setting up Bear Traps as Trapper.
- Setting up Phantasm Traps as Hag.
- Reloading Hunting Hatchets as Huntress.
- Setting up various traps as Nightmare.
- Setting up Torment Trails as Executioner.
- Reloading Blades as Trickster.
Executioner is the least boring one here, as there's lots more to the Killer Power and you can move around as you lay Torment Trails down.
The 2 reloaders are next, since that's all it is: You just reload.
3rd most boring to me is Nightmare, at least i can teleport to important locations quickly.
2nd is Hag, at least i can teleport to triggered Phantasm Traps.
1st is Trapper, i find little to be more boring than having to get the Bear Traps, go and set them up, have them potentially do nothing, and the snap isn't satisfying enough to me to accept the mentioned negatives.
Now technically i don't have to do any of those things from the list, but then i might as well play Wraith without ever cloaking.

You can do so in private matches. But no, not in public ones. You can select a preference which gives you a better chance. Also so people like me got bored of playing Jason and would only play counselor.
That's too bad then.
-
Possibly.
The 2nd paragraph doesn't seem to fit in with that to me.
-
F13 still doesn't allow you to just pick Killer, right?
That restriction alone is enough to have me say no.
-
You're aiming the blame in the wrong direction.
You can turn Bear Traps bright pink with mods as well.
That's a no no.

With the chapter 20 release, bot matches were added after the tutorials so you can try out what you've learned in a more match-like setting.
With this mid-chapter, the tutorials themselves have been completely remade (e.g. the thing that teaches you what generators, hooks, etc. are).
But we still can't pick Perks and Killers and stuff, right?
Cause that's too bad, since the Developer update does mention "try out everything you've learned", which isn't true if i for example just learned i can Lightburn a Wraith with a Flashbang and want to try that out some more.

I would also love to see Bloodborne. It's my favourite game of all time! Out of curiosity, who would you guys be most excited to see? Do you think that Bloodborne would work better as a 'paragraph'? or would a normal chapter work too?
Well i'm going through a Bloodborne boss list right now...
- Cleric Beast, Blood-starved Beast, Darkbeast Paarl/Loran Darkbeast, Vicar Amelia, Amygdala, Rom, the Vacuous Spider, The One Reborn, Celestial Emissary, Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos, Mergo's Wet Nurse, Moon Presence, Ludwig the Accursed/Ludwig, the Holy Blade, Laurence, the First Vicar, Living Failures, Undead Giant, Merciless Watchers & Watcher Chieftain, Watchdog of the Old Lords, both Bloodletting Beast versions & Maneater Boar are simply too big for this game, and reducing their size to fit into this game would be a great disrespect to that license.
- Martyr Logarius, Gehrman, the First Hunter, Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower, Orphan of Kos & Pthumerian Descendant may all fit physically, but many of their attacks are far too grand or they fly all over the place.
- Witches of Hemwick, Shadows of Yharnam, Beast-possessed Soul, Brainsucker & Forgotten Madman & Madman's Escort are also regular enemies and thus wouldn't feel special enough for a crossover.
- For the ones that still remain, i would also exclude those that are only in the Chalice Dungeons as a lot of people seem to at most try out a fixed dungeon or 2, so Keeper of the Old Lords, Yharnam, Pthumerian Queen, Pthumerian Elder & Abhorrent Beast are out as well.
That leaves me with just Father Gascoigne & Micolash, Host of the Nightmare, and oh man would i favor Gascoigne here.
Micolash is quite the meme in dialogue and the cage headpiece, but he's boring in every other way.
Gascoigne already has a main weapon, and they could give him different main weapons that are actually trick weapons from the game.
His attacks in his base form vary but are quite plain, meaning there's no hard feelings to reduce him to just a quick slash and a lunge for this game.
This game would probably have to take away his Blunderbuss unfortunately, but it's probably the least interesting part about him so i'm cool with it.
I could also lorewise see the Entity allowing him to tap into (and out of) his beast form at will.
(VERY slim chances upcoming.) We could explore his backstory in the Tomes, we could see different outfits from the game, we could see a Tiny Music Box Charm...
Gascoigne favorite boss in Bloodborne btw.

Or maybe Rat King? Welll actually i don't think any monster from TLoU will work on DbD. But Joel and Ellie, i can gladly take them :)
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2385694#Comment_2385694
I don't think any survivor chapter will come with map. But Ellie and Joel great characters. I am sure so many people will be happy seeing them in game.
We've had only-Survivor & only-Killer "chapters" before, so yeah.

Who would be killer for this chapter? TLoU has great survivors but i don't know who can be killer
Bloater? 🤷♂️
-
Toxicity is a highly-overused term for this game and its community.
-
Barbecue & Chili.
Double BP is a very big QoL, but still QoL.
-
I don't really dream for any licenses to be in here, but i would probably be most excited about a Bloodborne chapter.

Gameplay wise, A Machine for Pigs was by far the weakest from the three, yeah. It's story, premise, setting and music still make it one of my absolute favourite games, though.
Okay well, glad you enjoy it. 😊
-
Oh not a single one.
The closest thing i got is with Bill by having 900 hours in Left 4 Dead 2, but that was juist build-up over the years, i love the game but i'm not invested in it.
2nd place is Resident Evil, i played Resident Evil 5 a lot, love that one with co-op.
And then 3rd place would be Silent Hill, i sometimes re-play an SH campaign in L4D2 and i played an SH game on the PS VITA for like 30 minutes.
Titles i didn't even know about until DbD revealed them...
- HALLOWEEN
- A Nightmare on Elm Street
- SAW
- Ash VS Evil Dead
- Stranger Things
- The Texas Chain Saw Massacre
I have partially seen a Ghost Face movie before, but didn't even know it was Ghost Face.
-
So you're saying that all Killers should copy Executioner's ability and teleport Survivors away, but onto Hooks instead. 😜
-
I mained Wraith before he got his super-lunge.
I live for handicaps. IN GAMES! 😅
anyway u = right
-
Top tier meme Perk, it hasn't had ANY changes to it that are worth mentioning, even a 0.5% increase to 1 stat would've been noteworthy.
If this is the only Perk that will remain the exact same forever and ever, i won't even be mad.
-
I don't like Exhaustion Perks at all.
But the one i dislike the least is probably Lithe, it can make a nice, quick getaway.
Guess i'll name the others why i like them less than Lithe...
- Adrenaline: Late-game-only, goes against my nature to equip such Perks.
- Balanced Landing: Barely any use on some maps, i prefer consistency.
- Dead Hard: Y'know i honestly couldn't tell you why, i just don't like it. Maybe it's the Injured-only thing, i very much prefer to be Healthy.
- Head On: Meme. I'll equip it if i wanna mess around.
- Smash Hit: I find stuns too risky these days. I don't drop Pallets immediately, but stuns aren't an objective anymore.
- Sprint Burst: I'm one of those people who sometimes just starts running for like a quarter of a second. Guess what? That's enough to trigger this Perk, so no thank you.
As you probably guessed: No i do not play Survivor to win, i play it very casually and to just relax.
-
Death.
-
Not to look like i'm just disregarding your idea, but it's been suggested numerous times over the years.
We don't even have a glimpse of this happening, the closest we've had is them saying in a very early stream: "That's an idea."
I'd love it btw, i have so much ######### i just don't want to see anymore, i love having my inventories clean in all my videogames.

You must play in a very nice region at a very nice time, then. I spent most of a year having solo que times taking upwards of half an hour at peak times, and that's with crossplay on. Everyone I've talked to or seen complaining about no-crossplay que times has said that it severely increased the wait times because of the significantly smaller playerbase that bullies out casual players.
Yeah i guess i've had extroardinary amounts of good luck for a whopping 5 years, cause i've always had under a minute of waiting. (For searching a lobby, lobby times are excluded since people can leave, altering the amount of wait time.)
The only significant reductions i've had are when crossplay was actually added and i had it off, and during this event.
Not even Executioner being introduced hit my wait times.
Right now i'm back to under a minute again, and especially during the evenings it's like 10 seconds.
-
Don't use map Offerings, so wouldn't miss 'em either.

I've had it take nearly as long just by playing in AU. I've had it take longer by playing in a SWF group.
I can't imagine the no-crossplay sweatfest is quick compared to those two options. An average of hour-long search times seems very plausible.
I can't imagine at all that it's plausible.
-
Camp City.
-
An hour?!
Are you unironically using McDonalds WiFi?!
-
I think that the only fairness that matters is what the devs made fair in the game's official rules.
Camping and tunneling have very clearly been made not-bannable years ago, so you'd just listen to a player you are probably not seeing again for a good amount of matches.
-
@TheClownIsKing Apparently you're a beginner. 😜
*points you to Visionary*
-
Good.
Don't let something like a videogame destroy you.
-
It's a Terror Radius Perk, so i don't even touch it.
-
No, i cannot relate to this at all.
If looping ain't your thing, you're very quickly limiting your choices in this game.
-
The closest thing is probably dropping the Item in front of me.
Even if they then pick it up again a bit later, they have given me the signal.
A VERY unpopular method, but giving me their third hook (or just a hook) also does that, which i always decline with a very clear no by shaking my head.
If they insist, i would consider it rude to decline any further and hook them.
-
The chase.
-
Feels like from the moment the lobby counter hits 0 to the moment i exit the match, 15 minutes will have passed.
I often check what time it is after a match but not to check how long a match was so i don't know for sure.
-
Wraith's super-lunge added to his basekit, it was all he needed to me.
Hex: Devour Hope having its 1 Token bonus replaced with its current 2 Tokens bonus, it was all it needed to be actually viable to me.
-
Chance is always there.
In this case, the chance is probably as big as an electron.
-
I dislike them mainly cause they can really only come from one side.
Equipping Lightborn for example because you see 4 Flashlights isn't mindgame, that's just a natural response.
Though i may dislike it, my thoughts overall on the lobby are microscopic, i often don't even look at the lobby after pressing ready.
-
bruh
-
They stated Charms would not return.
Cosmetics eventually would.
-
Ohoho, MYC isn't hard on everyone else.
I'm really falling in love with MYC on Wraith.
Okay, okay: Maaaaaaaybe not on the same level as Hag, but still GOD DAYUM!
