They nerfed him because SURVIVORS said he was unfun to play against. Now he's even weaker and even more unfun to play against.Do you perhaps know if he's still immune to being blinded? Like, the effects work (dropping a Survivor) and they get the BP, but your screen doesn't go white.
No clue honestly. I always assumed you could blind him but I don't know, I really don't. I don't use flashlights nor do I play Freddy at all.
Fair enough.

I'm with you there, i like how Nightmare plays.
But the results he generates against any Survivor with 100+ hours is godamn awful. -

Like why the [BAD WORD] would you not run something thats gives you an advantage?Well why do lots of games have a hardmode?

Lol @ that godamn double pallet at the main building, or uh "building".
I could hear the trigger from the keyboard.
I hope that at least the DCs carry over from the PTB to the main game. "It's a test server, so it's okay if i DC." Lol, piss off.
3 of them ran WMI and one didn't run SC. I got respect for that though, WMI & Kindred are pretty powerful Perks, just not meta unless the current meta Perks get heavy nerfs. One thing i wonder though: On a scale of "Dude, i'm, like, so chilled out..." to "UMFG, F U!", how irritated were you by the looping? I gave you silly parameters, but it's a serious question actually.

The looping honestly wasn't what made me super angry. It was all of it compounded together on top of the DC cherry ######### cake. So I'd say pretty chill. I was shaking by the end of the game because of frustration and adrenaline, and all of that was released when they DC'd.
Understandable.

I know you said it, but i wanna elaborate on it.
Hillbilly and Cannibal: You charge it all the way up and, once you reach 100%, you can either press M1 to start sprinting like Hillbilly or press CTRL to start swinging like Cannibal. -
I believe Hex: Devour Hope is an amazing Perk, and that statement includes the heavy Hex downside.
-
Lol, Funhaus didn't play a lot, but Adam as Killer was ######### amazing: "Hi." Survivor gets slashed to the ground
I see you said you pre-ordered immediately. Which means you got it day 1. Day 1 means everyone's learning. Everyone learning means they suck.
To me, you're definitely a Survivor main who plays Killer sometimes. Nothing wrong with that, that's just how i see it. -
Pretty low, not anywhere in the top 6 Killers.

Sweet, yeah fine fine, but where is the balancing? Mindgame pallets, did they forget about them?Idk, but that's not what the topic's about.

I think implementing the AI could be really nice for testing stuff. My friends don't play the game right now and I can't test stuff in Kyf without roping someone else in so I can load in.Yeah, that's one thing that always bugged me as well.
I'd love to just be able to roam the maps as Survivor or Killer on my own. -

As for killer, I agree Knockout is very underrated. I'd use Unrelenting if it was buffed to like 50%. I get 360'd a lot. Here's a pro-tip to counter 360s: Just click, don't lunge. It's this simple
Edit: Yeah they should buff Unrelenting. %30 reduced cooldown to both successful and missed attacks, it'd be great@Boss said:
Hex: Devour Hope.Not meta?
Yeah, Hex: Devour Hope.

Hex: Devour Hope.

I like it how it is.It shows that not every Perk needs a reward on it, you can fool around as much as you like.
If making it a challenge for yourself isn't enough of an incentive to run it, no one will blame you for not running it.Just don't use it.
Having a Perk be a complete burden is at least MUCH better than a Perk that's powerful with no downsides at all, like Sprint Burst and Decisive Strike. So then tell me: why would i ever use it? I want to use it. I'm down for a challenge. Survivor is too easy at high rank. But where's my incentive? I don't just want to die for no good reason. If i'm taking a severe handicap for both myself and my team: i want BP bonus. And it should at least synergise with some other perks.
Hard mode just makes no sense without an upside of any kind. I'd rather see it balanced so that its hard mode if you mess up, but not a big problem if you dont.
The incentive is to challenge yourself, i just said that. If that's not enough, then, again, feel free to not use it.
Lots of games have a hardmode without additional rewards.
They're not for everyone.
To me, they're worth for the sheer feeling of overcoming more challenging odds. And you end up challenging your teammates because you're a dead weight they have to carry.
I'm sorry, but three other survivors did not elect to start with 3 players and a bodybag that gets off on handicapping the team.
But that's not their decision. They match up with 3 randoms, meaning they aren't allowed to choose what "teammates" they have.
It's still a team based game and it's not fair to purposefully drag your team down with you.
You're forever injured, tunneled, down a survivors for all of the 5 gens. Not ideal or fair to have a survivor out of the game after one or even no gens have been done.
That just makes games less enjoyableExcept it's not a team-based game, it just makes the game easier if you do work together.
And you're only talking about worst-case scenarios, which fit your argument.
I like running No Mither and i often do just fine. -
I'd make Nightmare be able to go into a Sprint Mode.
When pressing and holding Control, you go into Sprint Mode.
It would be about as fast as switching modes as the Doctor.
This mode will allow you to walk just as fast as a Hillbilly while using his Chainsaw.
You can't do anything but walk and look around while in this mode.
While in this mode, you can walk through anything except the map boundaries and hills.
To exit the mode, you press and hold Control again.
Survivors who aren't asleep can't see you, whether you're in Sprint Mode or not.
Survivors who are asleep can see you, but will see you as a blurry version of the Nightmare if you're in Sprint Mode.Time to make the Nightmare actually dangerous!

I think franklins on Trapper. It gives you some control over a survivor who loves there flashlight or med kit. It lets you set traps in the area you know they dropped there item in and more often than not they get caught. That's a really interesting look at FD actually.
