Problem is, those of us who did not abuse the deepwound mechanic, nor walk backwards while chasing etc, got lumped in with the bad legions and pretty much across the board, including twitch streamers it was "only scum play Legion"
Trust me, I know. I played Legion back then, and I still play Legion since then.

1. Head on
2. Dance with me
3. Quick and Quiet
4. Vigil/Fixated
It's fun to play with if you actually get the opportunities to head on.

Not on Xbox. Bugs with huge framerate drops plus a controller? Thousands of hours on her cannot overcome that combo.
I've seen a few good xbox nurses myself, it's just no one wants to put the time into her to learn to work against that, just like her nerf.
I'm decent at her as is, or at least I was before I took a break. It's not as hard as people make it out to be, but it can get frustrating when you miss a blink or something because the game decided to take a nosedive.

Well, discounting the licenced characters (since they its not up to them what race the characters are) the survivors theyve added are very diverse. Working backwards, Zarina is Lebanese/American, Yui is Japanese, Jane is Latin American, Jeff is Norwegian/Canadian, Adam is Jamaican, Kate is American, Tapp is African American, David is English, Feng is Chinese and Ace is Argentinian.
Looking at it, there was only 3 original "Caucasian" survivors added to the game, so when Behaviour have full creative control, they are very inclusive
EDIT: forgot that Tapp is licensed, so you got me there
There's only two original caucasian survivors, Dwight and Meg. Jake is Asian.
Edit: nvm

Give us the Halloween 2018 Laurie skin.
They'd make it a legendary probably. Yet I'd still pay the price tag.

The sad thing is that DS is SO CLOSE to being a well designed anti tunnel perk. Just reduce the timer from 40/50/60 to maybe 15/20/25, and just make it so the timer stops while in a chase and while down.
This is a change that'd actually make me use DS a little bit more. As is the sixty second timer always runs out and the killer hadn't even been near me, but then probably suddenly appear again right as it finishes with my luck. But then as soon as I take it off I'm tunneled until my death. It fits better as a anti-tunnel than an anti-momentum perk in my opinion.

Stealth only gets you so far. Being at least somewhat competent at looping is mandatory, especially since any good killer will see that you aren't good at looping and capitalize on it to get a survivor out of the game early.
I mean, they could easily just be a p3 gendette and get along fine as long as they stayed hidden.

Plays red rank survivor: Gets greens and above
Plays yellow and white killer: gets rank 1s

I started playing dbd on console, about 2k hours, then I moved to pc about 2 months ago and been using nothing but keyboard, while it is harder for me because this is my first pc game that I've played it is not that hard once you get used to, sometimes I've used a ps4 controller but the only reason I don't use it anymore is because, ######### is RT, RB,LT,LB, Y,A,B,X, I'm a sony boy I've never played with an xbox before, if BHVR added an option to make the controller buttons the PS way and also keep the xbox way I would use controller more often.
RT=R2, RB=R1, LT=L2, LB=L1, Y=Triangle, A=X, B=Circle, X=Square.

Midwich seems only to sucks for killer, did you saw HOW MANY PALLETS in square there is? Almost all the pallets are safe, i found a area with literally two pallets in the same place, the amount of breakable walls that we NEED to break is HUGE
The stairways being where they are make saving survivors upstairs a pain, there's a high chance of running into a room that has nothing and leads to nothing, your teammate might've already used the pallet.

Amnesia, Fnaf, and Resident Evil to name a few
Who or what would they even add for resident evil? Mr X? Nemesis? I mean, Resistance already exists so I don't think we need a RE chapter (unless Moira is the survivor then gimme)
-
A librarian killer sounds cool though :[
But yeah, this update is really buggy. Someone will be playing doctor with ruin and etc and the endgame screen will show something like no perk or addon billy.
-
I think they're starting to run out of perk ideas tbh. Most new ones have been useless/meh. Blood pact is overshadowed by Bond and Empathy. Repressed Alliance is just eh, and isn't worth a perk slot in my opinion. For the People hardly comes into play, and if it does it just screws you over, the list goes on.
And yeah, Midwhich sucks for both killer and survivor. The only good part about it is the design and easter eggs
-
I wonder the same 🤔

There were 2 thread. 1 childish with describing the trend, 1 mature with discussing concerned. Guess which one was viewed more. Yet still we don't have any proper respond from the devs.
Because it's probably just out of their hands. Cheryl is a licensed character from Konami, we have to remember that. It's not as simple as them saying "well we want to add different voices, so we will" they have to negotiate that out with Konami, and if it's selling well enough without then they might as well not waste the money to get Konami to let them.
The devs' response to this thread would mean nothing besides acknowledging the issue (which they basically already did in the qna) unless it was, "yes we have talked this out with Konami and came to an agreement that voices and such can be added for Lisa and maybe Alessa too."
-
I think Soul Guard is decent the way it is. The only slight change I'd like to see is maybe like a 3/4/5 recover speed increase, but then it might be too powerful with unbreakabill.

Might as well be with how terrible of a way it is to get your point across.

The first one is breaking the game's rules and the second one is just favoring the usage of your Mori. You see the difference? I would still waste my Mori on someone, it's MY choice on which survivor I will waste it. It happens that this survivor is Lisa, that's it. ❤️
Sweaty I see the difference, but at least Legion dcers were breaking the rules for a good reason back then, although I never supported it. You're just being petty.

This one right here. Noone got a single negative thing to say about the Legion DC protest despite it breaking the legit game rules. Here we have Lisa, people just Mori her or camp, people just use in-game features on you. And all of a sudden survivors go "this is wroooong, noooo!!!". C'mon.
Well here you go.
I disagreed with dcing against old Legion even though they were entirely unfun to play against, but I did not voice my side because I wasn't active in any Dbd places. And I also disagree with tunneling and camping Lisas. :]
The difference lies in one being broken, and unfun to play against, and the other having no affect on gameplay whatsoever.
-
I do :]

Yeah, I miss the old banners,

Ace, because he's daddy. And because older people aren't represented much in horror aside from evil gmaw, scripted to die grandparent.
Honorable mentions: David, Jane, Yui, Steve, Claudette, Meg, Ash, Kate.

Big picture. The skin costs higher than any DLC, it costs higher than 2 separate survivors/killers with different perk, other cosmetics, voices and lore. It nearly costs like 3 characters. All we want from this skin is it being seen as a different character by the game. Meaning for it to change the character's name in a lobby. We want another voice for Lisa because Cheryl's voice does not suit her. Lore info-page would be neat. We want this because the price is at the point where it's just a spit into a face to ignore such minor things about a cosmetic that costs this much. Stop using the argument that it's a cosmetic. It's an expensive cosmetic that needs to match it's price functionally. Different character models were introduced for the Legion that is free. Putting more afford into Lisa was needed because the Legion had less "rare" cosmetics and she has the most expensive cosmetic. But we only have another CHAINED model. You hear me? CHAINED. You can't buy one piece and be happy, nope. Pay all for just a model.
This policy is not fine. If you're fine with it, it doesn't mean others are okay with it. Especially the ones who were hyped for Lisa.
Alright still ignore what I said.
1. Never once did I say everyone had to be okay with it, what I did say was that you shouldn't have expected anything else. And you said the policy is not fine, to which I say, If you're not fine with it, it doesn't mean others aren't okay with it.
2. The Legion argument is heavily flawed. Legion is an original character created by Behaviour, and Behaviour only. They aren't from a popular horror franchise that the license had to be bought to add. There are rules and stipulations to these things. We do not know what goes on behind the scenes, so you can't fully pin the blame on Behaviour.
3. Most of every single other skins are the cost of two characters, you still shouldn't be shocked they slightly upped the price.
4. I even said another voice would be better.
5. I won't stop using the argument of it being a cosmetic, because that's what it is. They said it's a cosmetic like any other besides the lock of wearing every single piece, so of course I will say it's just a cosmetic.
Arguably no other cosmetic matches it's functionality, aside from brown Adam and Claudette cosemetics. All they add is "ooh look, pretty, I spent money".

You literally justify this type of thing because it has "legendary" title. Bruh.
You ignore literally everything else I say and focus on one point to nail down on instead of seeing the big picture. Bruh.
I'd also like to add that I never said it being legendary was justification for its price tag, but read it that way if it fits your narrative.

I want to buy it. But the price is too high to match the quality. And you KNOW it's unreasonably high. It's too high to say "you just complain about expensive stuff"! Any questions?
It's five dollars higher than a basic skin...
It's barely any higher than a normal skin. As I said it isn't that shocking that a LEGENDARY, and I stress legendary, the term used to describe most things in games that are high price for little gain is 15 dollars. I say it again, if the price is too high, don't buy it. Money talks more than petty tunneling of the skin.
-
Bro......
You know rather than tunneling Lisas, perhaps just advocate for people to boycott the skin? People tunnel P3/Brown cosmetic Claudettes and guess what's still in the game? Blendette is. They aren't going to remove/change it if they're making money, and the people you tunnel have already bought it, they made the money ez pz.
Now, on the actual topic of the skin itself, I'm fine with it, not happy, not angry. Would it be more worth it if it had a unique voice? Possibly unless they gave it an annoying voice like Cheryl's current. But lore is a silly thing to expect or even want, the skin is a noncharacter, it's a SKIN not a character.
And charging around like fifteen dollars for a LEGENDARY SKIN isn't all that shocking, it's legendary after all. To be honest the skins are overpriced already, you can get 2 characters for the price of most skins, not to mention the rift which has a plethora of cosmetics and charms. Has it stopped me from buying them? No. It's just a cool little addition. Don't like it? Don't believe it's a just price? Don't buy it.

Based on how you interact with the other comments and your post you seem really insufferable.
Using comms in a game that's meant to be radio silent is really no different than using recoil hacks in a game like rainbow six. Sure, you still have to aim and do some work. Either way, you're an insufferable person who is applauding themselves for making a killer have a pretty bad time
How is it meant to be a radio silent game when they planned on adding survive with friends, and then added survive with friends? Not everyone likes playing a game and not talking to their partner.
-
As someone else said, definitely the beta models/old trailer models for claudette, meg, etc.
I really liked the girl who gets caught in the locker at the end, her design was more interesting to me than what we got with the original four. But to be honest, I'd really just want them as their own characters.
-
This thread screams "I've got nothing else to complain about" if I'm being honest. I like Cheryl's in game appearance, if you don't like it, well, then I guess oh well? It's impossible to please everyone.
-
I wouldn't say that they help me survive per se, but I love fixated, boil over, flip flop, head on (when it works), and Lightweight. They make it onto a lot of my builds unconsciously.

@gatsby said:
@kreeper124 Fixated is pretty good as well. +20% walking speed is great with exhaustion perks and seeing your scratch marks lets you make interesting stealth plays
People really under value fixated, and it kinda annoys me. At least if everyone ignores it, it probably won't ever get nerfed >:)

@ZoneDymo said:
faster shot, no need to go to a locker, deep wound and the ability to reel them in to apply an M1/basic attack on them aka sloppy butcher / 3rd Seal / NoeD / etc etc viable
thats your trade off.
"Make him able to pull survivors over pallets. Right now, survivors have no reason to not drop pallets early."
Which is something that is good as well, he ends loops quicker, and where with the huntress you try to not drop a pallet, with him you do, again, a trade off, something that differentiates them
Also stop making conclusions so damn early pls, its not intelligent.
You do realize that you made a conclusion pretty early... and then told people not to make conclusions early?

That's true, but I don't believe that was intentional, it's just that they release DLC every three months and the anniversary last year happened to be three months after the previous DLC release. This year, the DLC is due in May and the anniversary is in June, so it's unlikely that they'll coincide.
Wouldn't the next one actually be due in June though. The PTB for this one is February, but unless I'm wrong the chapter release date is in March, so PTB would probably be late May release early June?
-
Console nurses. As a console nurse main myself it takes some hardcore dedication to learn nurse and not get screwed by fps and other limitations, and then after all that you have to somehow have fun.
Huntress, because once again fps and other limitations such as aim sensitivity.
I would include Legion, but most Legions I go against end up being the worst to play against and frequently tunnel and facecamp for literally no reason. It's partially why I mained Legion (now on and off) because I wanted to be a Legion that was fun to play against.
-
@Allivath_Chaos said:
It fixes early game gen speeds, true but what happens when you get an AFK killer? You could spend the time looking for and getting within range of the killer sure, but what happens when we get the trolls who will wraith cloak and hide in a corner for the match? Not saying this will be a huge problem, but someone, somewhere, will do it.
That's why we need afk punishments.

Yes, definitely nerf doctor. He didn't just get reworked or anything...
