  • It's a severe 50/50. Sometimes, you'll match with your friends' MMR (probably pretty low), sometimes you'll match with your MMR (probably high). Either that or because your friend played with you, it boosted his MMR drastically.

There also is the chance that Killers are playing EXTREMELY 'sweaty', giving no [BAD WORD], and just slaughtering Survivors (which given how MMR's turned out, I would too).

But what I don't understand is if your not good, that means you lack perks, addons and or the basic understanding not to overly kill your zombies for the LV3 whip which the zombies give you a general knowledge of the map and location of survivor's. I do believe they could walk fast, detect further, also respawn quicker, but before all that you have to also take in the aspect of the addons and if your T3 with them to have the best chance for the higher quality addons. I personally don't like him because I believe he is HUGELY reliant on the whipping to be useful while I have had good and bad moments with the zombies more good because of properly killing them when there in a location with no gens and too far away from my desired guarding location he does need a very slight something but not by much now though I am open to being debating otherwise.

I don't mean good in the sense of your ability to play him, I play him just fine and 4k consistently (or 3k + Mercy Hatch) if I try. I mean good with how he is, his kit.

The laser would make it difficult but god hitting cross-map rocket launcher hits in DBD would be the funniest #########, BHVR pls

Someone's just casually doing a generator when all the sudden they immediately get downed from a stray RPG. Would be absolutely amazing.

  • I stand corrected. However, when making my comment I wasn't taking into account event-exclusive add-ons. I was meaning add-ons made specifically for that character.

He is fine, the only thing to buff is a slight increase to zombie speed and detection range and that's it. Yep. Then I am good.

YOU may be good, but quite a few people in the COMMUNITY wouldn't. That's why I made this post.

I have never seen an add-on add new abilities to killers, just change their already existing abilities.

This is a fantastic idea! I honestly feel like they could easily make something like this work. We already have running plenty of times so that should be perfectly acceptable, a rocket launcher while maybe not fitting in the world of DBD can also fit as a gameplay mechanic when balanced correctly. And bringing in the Nemesis Alpha parasites would make sense if they wanted the Nemesis to connect a bit more with Nemesis from the remake and could work really well. Overall I don't think this would be that hard to implement. I mean they would just have to create a couple models for things like the rocket launcher, cases, and parasites but it wouldnt take that long. And the running can just be easily whipped up. He already has the animation and roar animation and sounds. Just replace his default mocing animtion with the one he has when walking slow, in the end game screen, or when he is holding someone and put the running animation in the ability. But yeah I do feel like something like this would fit and honestly be more of a fun killer for most people. Even those who don't care about the accuracy and just the fun I still think this type of power would succeed betterbetter in that area.

One balancing bit I thought of, for the NE-a Parasites, limit it to 1 Zombie with the whole double respawn time, but Nemesis has to go infect them himself, he doesn't just start with one. This would also help in a way. Zombie just spawned and he's close to a gen? Infect. Now his lethality is greater, and those gens are more dangerous.

Killers don´t need tunnel or camp to win games. Specially if we talk about top tier killers. People on the forum talk like if they were facing Oracle all the games. And that´s totally not true as the majority survs are playing Solo Q.

Most unskilled killers just will go the ez way because they are not confident on their looping skills and they just wanna win the game. Not learn how to loop.

I am not talking about top-tier Killers. I'm talking Killers like Clown, Nemesis, Legion, Demogorgon, etc.

  • @scenekidtrash said:

I'm sure this is not a new experience for many people since SBMM was implemented, but there have been a drastic increase in the amount of face camping and genuine tunneling killers I have gotten. SWF or solo queue, it really seems like every game. Before SBMM, it was once in every 10 games, it really wasn't that big of a deal to me. Now, it is literally every single game. I've started taking screenshots and posting them in my discord when I get face camped. It doesn't matter what perks I run. It doesn't matter what I do. Decisive strike, borrowed time, unbreakable, soul guard, dead hard, sprint burst, flashlight, no flashlight, medkit, toolbox. It genuinely does not matter: someone on my team or myself gets face camped to death or tunneled to death. I mean genuine tunneling. Like, going out of your way to not hit other survivors tunneling. Waiting out for BT tunneling. It's not even like these killers are getting "genrushed", they are genuinely face camping at 5 or 4 gens left. What is the big deal? I play killer a LOT, I have probably 2,000 matches on Huntress. I have NEVER played like this. Then they complain about their queue times going up. Do you understand that you are the problem? People complaining are the ones contributing to the issue. No one wants to play survivor when they get face camped every game. No one wants to play survivor when they get tunneled at 5 generators for no reason. My friends and I have contemplated just straight up quitting the game when we've all dedicated 2k+ hours into it. The better question is: why have the devs not addressed it? There's NO way they don't know what's going on. There's NO way they haven't been reading forum posts. I want answers because this is absolutely ridiculous. This game is rapidly going downhill because 50% of the playerbase wants to play like animals. Playing to win =/= playing like a jackass.

I'll make it short and simple. Killer HAS to tunnel and camp now due to how fast gens fly. If you don't have gen regression perks, or you had Ruin but it got deleted from the Trial, then gens pop too fast. I'm averaging 2 hooks by the time 3 gens pop in my matches now, if I don't tunnel I get maybe 1 kill if I sweat hard. If I tunnel some dude at the start, I get 2-3, rarely 4 kills. Blame the game's balancing, not the players, for having to resort to dirty tactics.

  • I mean, I do get where you're coming from, but there's probably a good majority that speak out on others using the same DS/UB/DH/Iron build, but they get shoved aside and labelled as a "Killer Main" who's just bad. I would call people out that brag about running full Meta, but because everyone's just going to assume that I'm a salty Killer Main who plays bad, I just don't even bother. On top of that, it's easier to critique a build for Killers due to some builds just being terrible on Killers, such as Pop with Pyramid Head, when he has his cages. Survivors are just skins, and the use of a perk comes from the player using the perk, not the character the player's playing.

Are you me? I picked those killers and survivor as a main too, haha, but my gripe with nemesis is that you have to either whip people 3 times or he is a basic M1 killer. They need to make his whip injure people immediately and then I think he would be good, he’s not that great ATM.

    I... I don't know, maybe? What's your favourite restaurant?

  • I absolutely adore(d) Legion due to their aggressive playstyle with their Feral Frenzy, window and pallet vaults, it was amazing to me, until I got into higher ranks and realized how ACTUALLY UNVIABLE Legion is. Sure, they can slow down the game immensely, but Legion's a basic M1 with no lethality in his rushes, so he gets looped so hard.

After realizing how much of a cutie pie Cheryl was, I decided to try Pyramid Head, and fell in love with all of his unique stuff he does. I loved the ability to just negate loops with my Punishment of the Damned and enjoyed giving Survivors the Final Judgement occasionally, until I realized how easy it is to dodge his PotD and how little Survivors will run through the Trails of Torment in the higher ranks.

I recently played RE3: Remake and loved Nemesis in that game, and how aggressive he was. I decided that I'd give him a try in DBD, since I never really played him that much, and adored the mechanic of the zombies, and enjoyed the tentacle whip as it was an easier to use Pyramid Head ability, until I started to think about how little the Nemesis in DBD actually represents Nemesis... and how hard it is to land whips on Survivors who are behind anything, since the hit boxes on everything is just so big. Can't hit through most windows as I hit the edges. I'm still sticking to Nemesis, but especially with the new SBMM, it's getting harder for me to decide to play Killer each day.

  • It's probably going to be similar to Friday the 13th. Bugs and balancing changes can be made, but new stuff can't be added.

  • This sounds, coming from a Legion Main, absolutely broken. This would probably replace Spirit in terms of lethality, considering how EASY it is to double-tap people with Frenzy, and chasing someone with Deep Wounds is a death sentence for them, as if they stop they get downed, but if you continue to chase them they get downed. It's a lose/lose for the Survivors regardless.

There's several ways they can buff Legion, or rework them, but this is far from it.

  • I'd be perfectly content if they came out and said they scrapped these ideas (such as the Early Game Collapse, or Shirtless Myers), but the fact we get left in the dark about it and we just 'forget' about it is what makes me pissed off.

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

I really hope something like base Regression or base PGTW will never exist. Stacking Slowdown-Perks is the easiest und most boring way to play Killer, this should not become Basekit.

They might want to look at something that tapping is not possible anymore or that the initial Kick takes a little bit of progress immediatly instead of just starting to regress a Gen. But not more IMO.

Honestly, all they need to do is one kick removes 5% progress, and it regresses it at half a charge a second (160 seconds to fully regress instead of the current 320) and I'd be perfectly happy.

  • I don't know about Survivor Side (maybe reserved for a Boon Totem Perk) but I could see a 5th slot being reserved for a Hex Perk for Killers, that way they can make a proper build, then pick a Hex Perk to run. Then, if it gets broken, the Killer didn't really lose much.

I do like the ideas here but honestly this reads more like a fan chapter than an actual potential rework. As cool as super zombies, a rocket launcher and a charge sound! it just isn’t feasible that they’d change him that drastically.

also the balance seems waaay off! A one shot rocket launcher seems nigh impossible (although I do like that you’ve quantified it’s potential existence) along with super zombies running around whilst having an easy to control charge that breaks pallets. That’s too much in my humble opinion.

Remember this is still DBD so we have to temper our expectations somewhat as the killer still has to somewhat fit the DBD mould of sorts, some killers fit easily (ghost face) others like nemesis do not and will unfortunately always be seemingly nerfed from their full game counterparts.

I do agree that charging through and breaking every pallet in one easy to maneuver charge can be very strong, and when thinking about it thought about editing my post again, and removing it. That way, you still can only break one pallet (although the add-on could be changed to allow you to break one pallet, but still hit through it).

The NE-a Parasites, I did agree, was quite strong, and I thought about changing it to Nemesis, when playing the add-on, can infect one zombie with the NE-a Parasite akin to how he does in the game. That way, he, similar to the RL, has to go TO the zombie, infect it, then hope it doesn't get killed (because he'd had to go re-infect the zombie). It'd of course be limited to one NE-a Parasite at a time.

The Rocket Launcher was and still is my biggest 'issue' in regards to balancing, and even thought about changing the RL into his Flamethrower.

    • The Flamethrower would be dropped in an Umbrella Crate when 3 gens are done, replacing his tentacle until it's out of fuel (30 seconds of usage (+15 | +10 add-ons)), and it'd light the path that Nemesis is aiming towards with fire. That way, if you're getting looped, light behind you on fire (or in front of you, as it wouldn't burn Nemesis), the Survivor either has to abandon the loop, or risk getting injured/downed. It'd probably have a burn time of 3 seconds before you're injured, 3 seconds before you're downed. I personally really didn't like this as much, as the Flamethrower would be a LOT harder to implement than the RL in my opinion, but thought I'd put it here.

Anyhow, back to the Rocket Launcher, I do agree that it can be VERY hard to balance and/or implement, and I do appreciate you noting that I tried to quantify it. It was, in my opinion, the best way I figured I could implement it without it being a huge complaint focus for the Survivors. It's also why I noted that the Shattered S.T.A.R.S. Badge (Ultra Rare) would allow you to get one more, as I feel it'd fit the Ultra Rare category, and make said add-on useful.

All in all, I did try to think about everything in the realm of DBD, which is why I made mention of Oni/Hillbilly during his charge, and picked the Rocket Launcher over the Flamethrower (think of Trickster with his shatter blades, the AoE damage code exists already), and even discussed with a few friends that play DBD on whether or not everything would fit in DBD. However, if you don't think it'd fit, that is completely your opinion, and I do appreciate you leaving your thoughts nonetheless!

@Bluebird Also perks that make loud noise notifications like discordance and zombie detection range addons. They do react to the perks.

They react to the perks... if they're not stuck on the map's geometry, which I've seen COUNTLESS times. I have to play babysitter to get use out of them half the time, because they get stuck on the slightest inconvenience.

    @Ssajbambusa said:

@Bluebird Use your tentacle ONLY when they are locked in animations, boom the whole philosophy.

Guess who else has an ability that you're supposed to use when they're locked in animations? That's right, Pyramid Head. And guess what else? He has so many interesting things in his kit, such as the Trail of Torments, the built-in Mori's, the Cages that outright deny Hook Perks, the Tormented Status, and his ability goes through walls.

What does Nemesis have? A worse version of Pyramid Head's Punishment of the Damned, a Contaminated Status that does hardly anything, and zombies that are useful in 1/20 of your games. Pyramid Head is very accurately represented, meanwhile Nemesis is mainly a copy-paste job, albeit with the introduction of A.I. 'partners'. The ideas I give do the same thing as Pyramid Head: makes him accurately represented from his source material. I took a lot of time to think about how everything could work and how to make it fun, but not OP.

  • @Ssajbambusa said:

He doesn't need any rewords other than either removing hindered after contamination or making it noticeable.

That's your opinion. My opinion is having one of these added to his kit (the RL or the running) would make him viable at higher MMR's, as right now if I don't play scummy I get stomped hard, due to his tentacle being easy to avoid and zombies doing nothing productive 80% of the time.

Ive said this a million times to myself, friends, myself, and myself. If you took Nemesis's name out from his character, you would have no idea that he's Nemesis. His power is....nothing unique at all. In fact if BHVR came up with Plague, I would expect it to be more like what Nemesis is.

Literally nothing about Nemesis makes me think resident evil. The zombies are absolutely pathetic, his power is absolutely pathetic (he doesn't use his tentacle in R3make one time besides the infection after he COMPLETELY MUTATES INTO A GIANT TRUCK SIZED BEHEMOTH), and the entire infection mechanic makes NO sense at all. T-Virus is supposed to slowly turn you into a zombie. In game it just doesn't do anything besides allows zombies to damage you.

If they didn't add things that made Nemesis into THE NEMESIS, it'd be cool for the T-Virus to slow you down the longer you're infected (repair/healing wise, every minute you're infected you get a 2% repair/healing penalty)

They put so much love into his animations and sound design and his power is just "m1 but 5-6 meters further" and it feels very lackluster. While i really do love him to the point of literally maining him, i can't deny being a big RE fan is about the only reason. He is incredibly generic and doesn't offer anything more interesting than any of the other m1 killers do. Nea and Dave are cool though, my only partners in crime in the cruel world that is playing nemmy.

I just edited the post, when talking with a friend and remembering how he played in RE3: Remake (being able to run with the RL in hand), I decided that the Rocket Launcher would replace the tentacle whip, thus making you hold M2 to aim which would feel better than CTRL, as well as disallowing you from picking up Survivors while you hold it (since you'd be holding the RL). I'm glad you guys are enjoying my rework ideas! I might think of suggesting reworks to his add-ons, if I do then I'll add them in a separate tab on this thread.

  • For an amazing Nemesis, we need 2 of 3 things.

    • An add-on that turns the Zombies into NE-a Parasite Zombies, gives them a range of 5 meters, with a 3-4 second attack cooldown (so the Survivor doesn't get absolutely mauled with their current 1 second cooldown).
    • A running ability. Nemesis roars map-wide, then he runs at say... 150% speed? maybe 160% so he just outruns Exhaustion Perks? He has full mobility, can turn just as normal, but can immediately break pallets/walls (add-on that allows you to just rush straight through them if you've been running for 3 seconds), and you can just absolutely sucker punch a Survivor to end your sprint, dealing one health state of damage, but putting him in a... 3-4 second cooldown to recover from his sprint.
    • A special ability, akin to Trickster, although with a twist. For every 2 generators completed, an Umbrella Crate drops, which contains a Rocket Launcher (Doing this method means that Nemesis has, at max, 2 insta-downs excluding add-ons). If Nemesis goes to the crate (it'll probably be highlighted) and picks up the rocket launcher, his running (if he has it) is replaced with his Rocket Launcher. Fires one shot, and immediately downs anyone within... a 3-4 meter radius, damages anyone for one health state within a 6-8 meter radius. It'd have a laser showing where the player's aiming, just like in RE3 Remake, and when it's used, he'd toss the Rocket Launcher to the side, similar to how he does in RE: Resistance (I can't find a clip of just the RPG being used).

Any of these (I'd love for all 3 of them) can be added and still keep the whip, just make the running and the Rocket Launcher be toggled by CTRL. I feel that this'd make him feel more like Nemesis, it'd make him pretty strong while also keeping him from overpowered, and would make everyone happy, as Survivors would have fun being chased by an absolute unit of a Tyrant (I'd LOVE to just see a Nemesis running at me with face-pummeling intent)

  • I was thinking, since they have A.I. in the game (given that Nemesis has zombies) you could customize one member of the Legion (you'd be able to customize 2 'killers' instead of just the one that you play) that'd just harass the Survivors. Not necessarily injuring them, but just following them, taunting them, and possibly even trapping them (if they jump into a locker, that Legion member would hold the locker shut). Similar to Nemesis' Zombies, you could see the outline of your teammate, and if the Survivor approached the Legion member, they'd grab and hold the Survivor, and they'd need to break free.

    • Edit - An idea I had since the OP said they'd love swapping between members, the 2nd Legion character you customize wouldn't have a weapon customization, and instead, if you approach that member, you can swap to them. An animation would play where X member (you) hands their knife over to Y member (the AI) and you then control Legion Y. That would leave the Survivors guessing as to which member is the player, and which member is the AI.

  • If that's what it takes for the game to be better, then I'll go play VHS.

  • I'm not dense, I get you're trying to be funny, it's just annoying to have people even jokingly proclaim themselves as the best at something.

  • I've said it before and I'll say it as many times as I need to, I'd gladly go months without any new content or balance changes as long as they rebuild the game with brand new code that's stable enough to support the new content.

I don't understand why would they get mad. I'm just making a post about something I care about. If they get mad then its odd. They just don't have to read it. This post is a bit different too. I'm actually trying to get people to help or somethin'. I was sure there would be some willing to help. I don't know about on the forums but I don't know where else to ask.

People get mad because you're just saying the same (to them) things on repeat. I'm not mad, I, just like you, WANT Nemesis to BE NEMESIS. I have fun playing him as he is, sure, but I get so demoralized when Survivors, just as I stated, run in a straight line and waste my time. I have no way to catch up to them.

The tentacle, while it is part of what he does, helps them more than anything because it gives them a boost, without even injuring them the first time I use it. It can also be juked pretty easily by faking windows or pallets. Very few Killers have mobility, and giving Nemesis, a character known for his ruthlessness pursuit (who was literally called 'The Pursuer' in his original game), has no way to pursue Survivors at any more than a leisurely stroll. The Zombies, while cool, get stuck 80% of the time and I have to play babysitter to get use out of them.

In his current state he's just a better but worse Pyramid Head. He denies loops faster than PHead's Punishment can, is more unpredictable, but can't go through walls. PHead's also takes 2 hits to down, unlike the normal 3. I've played maybe 80+ Nemesis Matches now, and I can only think of 7 times (excluding the PTB) the Zombies ACTUALLY helped, and not when I just trapped a Survivor for them. Unfortunately, since very few people (pretty much just you, me, and maybe a few people that just don't comment here) care about Nemesis, the developers won't change him.

Considering we're losing Hawkins, I wouldn't mind seeing them just change it graphically and throw in some bits and pieces from the final area of Outlast. Replacing the room with the portal with the room that has Billy Hope in it, tossing in Wernicke's office somewhere, and having a room with a vent covered in blood where Chris Walker died and stuff like that. Replace all the dead scientists with the Murkoff guards and call it a day.

That is precisely why I thought that the end-game location was the best spot.

  • @ArchAbhor said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/36240/idea-for-an-outlast-chapter-idea

If we ever get an outlast chapter i predict a paragraph with only a killer and maybe a map. Miles would be the obvious choice for survivor and red barrels didnt make a model for him that I'm aware of.

If I were to pick options for a full chapter I'd go Mount massive as a realm and there are plenty of areas you can choose including the main entrance hall, basement, lab, and courtyard.

Killer I would prefer Richard Trager. While the groom is obviously the best and chris walker is somewhat of a poster child they both dont bring anything unique. Trager has his scissors. Otherwise Wallrider would be my choice for killer.

Miles would be the survivor of choice, if we were to get one.

Also screw outlast 2 that game was a shiny turd

They actually did make a model for his head, it's just not textured.

My personal thoughts on what an Outlast Chapter would entail is Waylon Park as the Survivor, with a Very Rare of him in his Variant Jumpsuit, with a Legendary of Miles Upshur. The Killer would be The Walrider, with his Prestige being him but coated in red (when he explodes you from the inside, his model turns red). The Map would be the final stage of the game, the underground lab place as it's pretty spacious with some small corridors. It'd need to be, of course, built from the ground up as the version in-game wouldn't fit DBD at all, considering it's 100% linear.

  • @TheDarkTyrant said:

So people have just given up on Nemesis. RE fans for some reason just gave up on the RE chapters garbage contents and are just leaving it to rot. Not just RE fans but just the DBD players and I don't understand why. Nemesis would be so much more fun if he played like Nemesis. No one is really playing him because not a lot of people enjoy him. Especially when he can't control an entire half of his power. So think about it, if they redid his entire power and added his iconic and super fun running I bet you would all like it more. I mean people have so much fun against Hillbilly and stuff on both sides. Way more than Nemesis in his current state right? Add a rocket launcher. How much fun would it be to shoot a rocket launcher every now and then and just ######### the survivors! It would be incredibly fun. Again, way more than current Nemesis. I just want more RE fans to join in to help with it. It isn't that hard to join in. All we have to do is just keep bringing it up to them whereever we can. Just keep going until its fixed. I just wanna see my Nemesis finally join after 5 years of waiting. I'm sure other want to as well. Just imagine what we could've had. We can still have it if we just keep asking and asking everywhere. Idk I just want more people to help instead of just letting it die and be forgotten like it basically has already. This is RE and Nemesis. Gamings BIGGEST horror game franchise ever and one of gamings biggest bosses period. His name is in the title of the game he comes from.

I will not lie, I completely agree that he doesn't really feel like Nemesis (especially when I chase someone for 30 seconds who's RUNNING IN A STRAIGHT LINE), but I laughed so hard when I saw a Nemesis post and saw it was you.

That doesn't mean I don't agree with you, because I 100% do, but I can see why people get mad at you, this is your 2nd Nemesis Post in a week.

I'm right there with you. Played a Billy match (whom I haven't played in a year or so, since the Overheat Mechanic) and I got stomped. Only reason I got kills was because the Survivors got greedy.

    Michael Myers

He kills anyone because he wants to. Epic

I still love how he wants to kill so much that he just outright says "[BAD WORD] you Entity, my kill."

  • I'm not sure if I've faced actual hackers, but I've been suspicious as of late. 3 times now I've gone against Survivors that I just can never seem to catch up to. I'd be going around a simple wall, they don't vault windows or anything, and I just never catch them. The only times I've hit/downed one of them were when a Zombie showed up.

Didn't the blight series event end with the eternal blight? Im pretty sure were getting a new kind of halloween event this year.

They stated that it revolving around The Blight (the Killer) would end, and no new lore of his would be added. The blight (the flowers) is most likely still going to be a part of the Halloween Event.

that just takes build variety for the 96% of players who don't care about the meta and shits all over it um

They don't need to be nerfed into the ground like I've suggested, just a small nerf, since you're not using said perk on the character it came with.

  • I've said it in the past, but I'll say it again, Teachables should be reworked into their own rarity and give a worse version of the perk.

    Some examples

    | Survivors |

Dead Hard - Gives Exhaustion for 120 seconds instead of 60, when used on David it keeps its tiers, going from 60 / 50 / 40 (all Exhaustion Perks could use this formula)

Unbreakable - Allows you to pick yourself up once, doesn't give you a recovery boost

Soul Guard - Gives Endurance for 5 seconds as opposed to 8 seconds, 60 second cooldown (one or the other, but the former would have more of an effect)

Flashbang - Requires a full generator to be completed solo

Inner Strength - 20 seconds to heal self in locker (still faster than Self Care, speaking of...)

Self Care - Heals at 35% Healing Speed, making Botany required (which would also be nerfed, probably to 20%

    Deception - A cooldown of 90 seconds

    | Killers |

BBQ And Chili - Increase its range to 56 meters, still useful if its far out, but not so much if they're somewhat close

    Nurse's Calling - 16 Meters

Thanataphobia (sorry Legion) - 3% penalty per injury

Tinkerer - 85% Gen Progression required to trigger

Pop Goes The Weasel - 15% Regression after hook, or a time of 30 seconds to activate

    Hex: Ruin - 125% Regression

Hex: Undying - No longer shows auras when around a Dull Totem

  • I do agree with @Axx that not a lot of Survivors are great, it's just you face a lot of good Survivors because you yourself, according to the SBMM, are a good Killer. There DOES need to be balance changes, but if you make it hard for high skilled players, it'll be impossible for low skilled players. It's just difficult to balance properly.

He could still be a unique killer with his iconic abilities. He's not accurate to him in 3 Remake whatsoever. With animations and sounds sure but also his most iconic abilities are just relegated to animations and not what they should have been which is the power. There was a cool idea I saw where he sprints in short bursts which would fit him perfectly and guess what, is unique and a good type of unique like Oni or something where they are similar but definitely earn their spot. They aren't just a 2nd Hillbilly or whatever. They definitely have different strengths and stuff and the same could have been with Nemesis while staying true to the character. Tell what the hell do zombies have to do with Nemesis? Nothing at all and are a waste. And they aren't even that fun. At least not as fun as something YOU can control. But they do not fit Nemesis. That's more of a Mr. X or Birkin fitting thing. Or maybe they could've added the Nemesis Alpha parasites and maybe it would make sense but as it is now he is absolutely nothing like Nemesis to anyone who has played RE3 and the Remake and just anything with Nemesis in it. Somehow he is more like Nemesis in Marvel VS Capcom. A fighting game! The ONLY Nemesis thing in his power is just simply even having the tentacle which he doesn't even use in the right way so you can immediately take credit away with the whole mutation mechanic which is another example of them deciding to make the game feel like RE and not making him feel like Nemesis. That's all there is. There is no Nemesis. There is just the feeling of RE.

Honestly, I do completely agree that Nemesis doesn't FEEL like Nemesis. He needs to have some sort of speed, and maybe even some sort of way to have weaponry.

As for the Zombies and the NE-a Parasite, that could be tied to an addon, increasing their range by like 6 meters but making their attack slower (like 2 seconds or so).

The speed could be a Special you get (akin to Trickster's Main Event) where he roars and just goes ham speed-wise, and for every 2 gens done (so at 3 gens and 1 gen left) an Umbrella Crate drops for Nemesis, that has his RPG that one-shots within a 2-3 meter range. Damages for one state within a 4-6 meter range.

For some reason tonight's have not been sweaty at all. Last night I had to sweat so much I could have built a swimming pool lol.

Bhvr needs to make so swf are matched with the highest sbmm rating and not averaged out amongst them all.

Honestly they should've done that from the start. I have a friend that rarely plays the game, so he's never gone past (going from old ranks) yellow rank. Every match I played with him has been the easiest Killers I've faced (someone who as Survivor almost always got to Red Rank). If I play with him with the new MMR, I feel it'll be the same thing, me playing against baby Killers and just... unintentionally bullying them. Even though he rarely plays, I taught him myself from his very first day playing, so he grew in skill very quickly, so he SHOULD face Killers at my skill level (he played on my account for a day and he won 60% of his matches at Red Rank), but because of the MMR and how little he plays, it's just terrible.

Pretty unenjoyable. I don’t mind good players but when I’m forced to bring multiple slow down and proxy camp just to have a shot at winning I don’t feel very good. Hopefully this mmr will highlight the issues with the game’s balance and they’ll make some big changes

This is my very exact problem. I try playing Nemesis with a Nemesis-esque build (I try to get Enduring/Spirit Fury at least, but I'm PIII'ing him) but gens just fly if I don't have any slowdown. I haven't been blessed with ANY Slow Down (at Level 50 now mind you), and I just get bullied into the ground. I HAVE to play dirty as hell to win and pray that they are overly altruistic to win. The first few matches I'll admit (when MMR came out) I basically stomped the Survivors, they all were just not that great and one was even very new, but it's outrageous that I have to sweat so hard to win without using a meta build. Killer's just not fun when you face the same Survivor Builds and you're forced to run the same builds on 80% of your cast to have a chance at winning.

  • It seems that the SBMM System for me is just all over the place. There's matches (all Solo Q) where my team inadvertently just bully the Killer, just trying to survive, there's matches where my team get completely stomped into the ground, 1-2 dead before a gen's done, there's matches where it's just a narrow win or loss and everything's pretty even, and everything in-between. I know grades don't matter, but I've gotten more Ash/Bronze Teammates than anything. It's kind of surreal.

Is this quote from his head cosmetic what you're talking about?

"The leader of demonic creatures devoted to experimental torture and ruler of Hell, an extra-dimensional realm."

If so, I think it's mean to mean that Pinhead is the leader of demonic creatures, who are devoted to experimental torture AND also devoted to the ruler of hell, Leviathan. Not that he is the ruler of hell himself. It's probably just an error in translation, BHVR does this a lot.

Error in translation, like how they botched Leon's cosmetic descriptions >.>

Survivor sided in that you can't smash 4K every game? I find it hard to believe that high ranked Killers aren't winning most of their games.

I don't care if I don't get 4k's a match, I care that just to get 1 - 2k's in high-ranked matches I have to sweat my ass off and play super dirty just to get those kills. As Survivor, I just sit back, relax, pop on some music, and if I don't play like an idiot I leave 80% of my matches. But as Killer? I have to be lucky to not only not get a 4-man SWF, but also have them mess up enough that I can capitalize on it. If I get a 2k every match I play, but the match was fun and close? I wouldn't mind. It's the sheer lengths I have to go through and the amount of bullshittery I need to endure to reach that kill count.

I pick the box and press to solve it but i'm constantly get chained even though i pressed the button, when Pinhead uses his ability or teleports my game dies on me for a while and i get hit even though i was running, a bug that has constantly appeared for some reason when i play survivor and want to switch to killer it won't let me maybe i don't know bring back the quick swap button so your not constantly flipping between them through the menu, another problem why isn't Pinhead talking like at all when doing his mori or teleporting he says nothing if they disabled because people were making jokes about he came then seriously it's a joke people just wanted to have fun with it.

Yeah, if you have the Chain Hunt, you CAN'T solve the box. It's just impossible. You got to pray that Pinhead TP's to you within a second.
