So surprised no ones been mentioning it. Her skin is one of the best imo. It looks amazing.

That's actually really good
Yeah honestly even though I just thought of it, this sounds like the best change for Legion I've seen. That would actually help him a lot.
He does still need an addon pass though. Like all those pins applying their effects on first hit etc.

They can't make the game balanced for swf though unless they buff solos to around swf levels. If they balance killers for swf then solos will suffer and since solos are the majority of players I don't see it happening.
Even against 4 solo's the game is very much still in the survivors favor. Bar playing a couple of the top tier killers, they have to mess up A LOT to lose.
To counteract this I would actually like a sliding scale in difficulty the higher rank you get to make it easier for low ranks but harder at higher ranks for survivors. Especiallly seeing as the main balance issues are at the higher ranks. This would balance the high ranks more without hurting the newer players.
This could be more or less gens depending on the rank or preferably extra objectives. Regardless the specifics aren't really the point right now, just the idea in general.
-
Honestly now that I think about it, Deep Wounds should just apply Oblivious. This would add a lot more mind games and make Deep Wounds ACTUALLY threatening. Right now it's literally a joke.
I also like that it nerfs BT a little because BT is still honestly just god tier. BT lets survivors make stupid saves and not get punished for it.
-
They might. Legion needs whatever he can get though. They're so weak.

Removing collision would remove more counterplay than it adds. Let's think of a scenario. You're against a Spirit without collision. You run to a safe window to avoid her power, however she phases through you and cuts you off, and you get hit.
If she had collision, she would have ran into you, and you would've had at least a chance of not being hit.

"You're against a Spirit without collision. You run to a safe window to avoid her power, however she phases through you and cuts you off, and you get hit."
You would have got a hit in that scenario regardless of if she had collision or not. While not having collision you are now adding even more counterplay to her with scenarios like not being able to block them from reaching a pallet or window where you cut them off. There's also the scenarios of preventing them from doubling back through you like on Nurse.
This adds no buff and is adding more counter play to her.

I agree with you, however we're just saying that these "nerfs" most people advocate for are actually buffs.
I disagree with that very much. It's just adding a little extra skill required to a killer who's already in the top 3 skill requiring killers. It definitely wouldn't be a buff in any shape or form. There are so many more important things to be done.
-
I'm fine for mori nerfs, but ONLY once the game gets balanced for SWF.
-
I'm all for nerfing mori's, but ONLY once we finally balance the game for SWF.
-
Spirit doesn't need nerfs, she's one of the most balanced killers in the game. We need other killers brought to her level.
-
There shouldn't even be opinions on whether or not it's okay. The rules for DBD very clearly state that it is against their Terms of Service. The end.
Can't wait till they crack down harder on the DC's.
-
While you make great points, you are going to get swarmed by all the people who never play killer to understand.
-
That little touch would go SO far for making those skins really worth buying. They seriously should.
-
The pip system is terrible.
It rewards you for playing a way that is not smart and extremely non optimal.
It also punishes you for playing the smartest way and trying to kill the survivors as fast as possible.
They are trying to force you to play the way they want you to.

Medkits got nerfed overall, don't know what you mean about it being buffed. Also nurse is not as bad as people say she is. She charges her additional blinks while in fatigue, so it's not that big of a deal imo.
No, medkits did not get nerfed over all. The only things nerfed were the 2 insta heal addons. ALL of the medkits were buffed substantially.

Unnecessary? They took out Insta Heals. I never get people healing without them anyway. This HELPS Killers if people feel the need to heal more.
I wasn't referring to the insta heal nerf, I was talking about the regular medkit healing buffs. They already healed very well and the game didn't need faster ally healing.
-
@ColonGlock said:
I never use Ruin and rank up just fine. I did not even think about Inner Strength though good point.
The combination of inner strength and detectives means totems are likely not to last long in matches.
You can rank up just fine not using Ruin, that doesn't mean it's not the best perk if you want to win though. Pipping =/= Winning
-
If it wasn't for the nurse changes going too far imo and the completely unnecessary medkit buffs I'd agree.
-
Mad Grit is still a meme and will not be used.
Ruin will still be used because it's almost required. It just gets worse.
Sloppy got a lot worse than it used to be with the release of Inner Strength as that has become the go to healing perk and is unaffected by Sloppy. It also takes a hit with these medkit changes which honestly don't make any sense.
Bar a few of the setup killers that Corrupt Intervention is decent on, it's pretty bad for most killers.
NOED will still be universally ran.
-
"Generally" all the better killers in the game are also the ones requiring the most skill to play, so no.

No it isn't accurate because explain youtubers such as tru3, noob3 and monto who post videos of them losing? So your point isn't accurate at all. Also, what if the youtuber is live streaming? Is he going to magically remove all the clips of him losing?
I have played with her for more than 10 times in my friend's house because he has all the killers with the best add ons and perks. All the games that I have used the add on, I have not lost against a rank 1 survivor. However, the time I haven't used her add ons I have lost. Then again that doesn't matter because I said the killer isn't strong without add ons.
Then let me ask you a question, how is it fair for low rank survivors to go up against a plague?
"youtubers such as tru3, noob3 and monto who post videos of them losing?"
They generally do not.
"Also, what if the youtuber is live streaming?"
If you actually watched their livestreams you would see how much they lose when using weaker killers.
"I have played with her for more than 10 times in my friend's house because he has all the killers with the best add ons and perks."
You are literally saying right now that you think you have a better understanding of how good a killers addons are because you picked her up on your friends account 10 times than someone who has 4,000 hours in the game right now...seriously?
If I had played something that extremely little I would not be arguing with anyone about how good or bad something is because that is VERY little experience whatsoever to have any idea what I was talking about.
"Then let me ask you a question, how is it fair for low rank survivors to go up against a plague?"
It's fair because losing against a killer because you played dumb isn't unbalanced, you just have to learn how to play better. This shouldn't even have to be explained.

I use a controller so I try and guess what it means. Also, clown can shorten loops.
You speak as if thats for all youtubers. So I can say your point isn't accurate aswell.
like I said Black Incense is an add on. There are also perks such as whisper to help killers so avoiding isn't that simple.
But the range in which the attack can reach and area it can cover makes up for it.
The thing about Plague with add on that it doesn't matter if you are getting gen rushed or not. Once you use your corrupt form, all survivors are broken and start slugging the game becomes easy. That's just my usual experience against her tho. I don't know how your games are like.
"You speak as if thats for all youtubers. So I can say your point isn't accurate aswell."
I wasn't referring to just youtubers so yes, it was accurate.
Do you actually play her at rank 1 as killer?
All the things you think are strong are not when you are going against actual competent rank 1's. That stuff will seem strong if you are playing against low rank survivors that play dumb.

See, this is the unreasonable thing with killers.
When you have a nail that sticks out... you have it down. You don't add more nails that stick out.
If one killer is OP compared to the rest of the killers...t he more reasonable thing any sane person would do is nerf the OP killer, instead of buffing all the underpowered killers.
From an unbiased developer's point of view, this makes absolutely more sense.
Buffing all other killers is just an unreasonable position only a biased killer main could have.
Once the nails that stick out have been hammered in, then the devs can finally make any necessary adjustments to nerfing survivors -- like adjusting gen speeds, one of the killer's favorite wishlist items.
The problem with a lot of killer mains is that they don't realize how everything needs to work in a balance. It makes a lot more sense to nerf a few powerful killers like Nurse and Spirit (than to buff everyone else). Then when the dust settles see how the results compare with the survivor power level. Then it's easier to nerf survivors or make adjustments to keep the game in line with the ideal state of 2:2 kill/escape.
This kind of balancing also helps avoid power creep -- which is a valid design tenet.
Everything the devs do is based on their design goals and the stats they have available to them that tells them how well they are adhering to their design goals.
A lot of what players point out isn't acted upon because they don't bring the game closer to the design goals. That is for both sides.
"If one killer is OP compared to the rest of the killers...t he more reasonable thing any sane person would do is nerf the OP killer, instead of buffing all the underpowered killers."
No, because the only serious outlier is with her OP addons of which are very rarely used. The amount of games the average survivor is getting against a Nurse running those addons is few and far. THAT is why it isn't a main priority and why it hasn't been touched in years.
It also shouldn't be the main priority because survivors are not in a bad position at all currently where as most killers are.
"Buffing all other killers is just an unreasonable position only a biased killer main could have."
Where do you get this stuff? I play survivor at rank 1, that isn't biased whatsoever.
Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them biased.
"The problem with a lot of killer mains is that they don't realize how everything needs to work in a balance."
Someone disagreeing with you doesn't mean they are biased.
What IS biased is thinking you know better about the balance in red ranks than the people actually playing in red ranks when you don't actually play in red ranks yourself. That is literally a biased viewpoint because you only have one sides viewpoint.
"It makes a lot more sense to nerf a few powerful killers like Nurse and Spirit (than to buff everyone else)."
Nurse being too strong isn't even close to as much of an issue as all the weak killers we currently have.
"This kind of balancing also helps avoid power creep"
Power creep is not an issue with killers right now almost whatsoever.
"Everything the devs do is based on their design goals and the stats they have available to them that tells them how well they are adhering to their design goals."
Their stats are irrelevant as even they themselves have stated all the reasons they are flawed and that the data should not be used to dictate balance.
"A lot of what players point out isn't acted upon because they don't bring the game closer to the design goals."
Which is why most the player base has big issues with the games balance. The games balance has been terrible since release and still is. Most players think the balance teams goals are misplaced.
-
She just needs a passive gen reduction speed for any survivors infected and broken to further encourage cleansing.

They didn’t climb up there (or maintain it) by accident. She’s far from weak. Players investing time into Plague since her release about 6 months ago have adapted to the silly just don’t cleanse “counter”, and know how to make just 1 apple count mid chase with or without Infectious Fright.
I can maintain rank 1 playing nothing but Plague. That does not mean she is rank 1 viable.

I mean they definitely shouldn't make 5 versions of one map another time. That would most likely help a lot. It's true though. They need to work on these maps faster. At the very least just nerf the ridiculous windows on some of the maps, without reworking the map if it takes too much time.
Yeah just getting through the current maps fixing them at base would be better. THEN go back and add the variants they want later.

Lol. What a genius move of that guy. Still, I believe there are many people with killer at red ranks who believe killers are fine in general. But I don't know for sure. Of course pretty much everyone agrees that low tier killers like Clown or Wraith need buffs.
And we should also keep in mind that map reworks are coming, and even if they come with more juking and stealth options for survivors, loops giving killers more counterplay during chases will be a nice buff especially to weaker killers.
Of course I hope they'll increase the rate at which they rework maps. Pretty sure this patch is supposed to have map reworks according to the road map, I can just hope it's more than just one map this time that is being changed.
Map design is THE biggest issue hindering balance right now.
Like you mentioned though, the reworks on maps are coming slow. At this rate all the problem maps will be fixed in a few YEARS and that's if not a single new bad map comes out in that time.

Also, why did this entire time you said you played at rank 1?
On your profile you have not reached rank 1 on either side and for killer you only have the rank 10 achieve.

A pool that last for 60 seconds (without using other add ons). You understand how hard it is to go up against so I don't need to explain.
-_- How do I make my team good? I went to red rank expecting god tier survivors which I was mistaken. I want to know of these good survivors you killers speak of. I hardly encounter them and they give the worst advise possible which is "get good noob".
How can they wait out when there are add ons and perks that can locate survivors? To dodge it is hardly impossible especially if the killer can aim.
All m1 killers are weak? Is spirit and nurse a joke to you? There are times where I played games where I easily overpowered them by doing gens and looping them. However, I don't take them as good spirit and nurse because usually players will dc in 60 seconds and 2 people will be down in 30seconds of the game.
I'm talking about Plague using add ons. Of course the best survivor would beat her without it, but even with it. Plague can easily make a comeback. I seen it, youtubers have shown it and probably you have to.
Explain how they can wait out. You say it like it's easy so I would like to understand how and question some points that you might make.
"All m1 killers are weak? Is spirit and nurse a joke to you?"
I don't think you understand what an M1 killer is. Spirit and Nurse are not M1 killers.
"I seen it, youtubers have shown it and probably you have to."
Youtubers post their good videos, they don't post the other hundred videos where they got destroyed. That is not an accurate assessment of strength.
"Explain how they can wait out."
This is a self explanatory answer. They avoid the killer.
Even if you do find them looping around high walls with Corrupt Purge is quite easy as it has a delay on impact time.
If you seriously are running "locating" perks as well then you are getting genrushed to hell. You should be running DL/Thanata combo.

She literally can hit survivors at a 20 meter range by just moving her mouse. If you play her "regularly" and at "red ranks" you know people never cleanse, so yeah giving her the corrupt purge without even being a survivor cleanse is pretty broken. Also, not quite sure if you need my steam page, the legendary killer and survivor achievements have pretty high achieved rates, so getting to rank one means nothing and i have no way of proving to you that i get to red ranks every single season
No one that plays killer at red ranks would think these things. If you really do play at rank 1 then link your profile.

"Add ons and perks that allows you to locate survivors"
With how strong loops are finding survivors is meaningless. They don't care if you find them because they will just loop you.

"Well, unless we have a different meaning for rank one, check ayrun's hillbilly build and Otzdarva's Nurse and Myers build."
First, Billy and Nurse are two of the few red rank viable killers.
Secondly, both of those players would agree with everything I've said here and have in video.
Nurse is the only real person that can make use of IF and even then it is not in her top build.
Neither of those players believe what you're saying here.
"There is literally a video of ohtofu called "infectious fright is so much fun" because it is quite strong"
He makes those videos for click bait. If you actually watch his streams and videos he talks about how they are actually bad and how he tried so hard to make them work.
One example of this being here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fRdn8bozcUUThen in this video at the beginning he states how he had tried to make Surge work in his previous video and it was just bad:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ytp4XwYVpcY&t=76sThis is click bait fun videos, not serious and they repeat that themselves.
There is also no interpretations of Rank 1. Either you play at rank 1 or you don't.

I would agree with you that people who who disliked the exhaustion nerf were people that simply didn't want a nerf to survivors and probably never played killer at high ranks. But that doesn't change the fact that I feel like the nerf to Nurse is also fine, and that people will realize that once they play with her enough.
Also, I'm pretty sure there are enough people that do play killers at red ranks and don't feel like so many killers are unviable. There's no doubt to me that there are still quite a few killers that need some buffs, but I feel like there are a fair amount of killers that are good now. I play killer at red ranks as well.
"Also, I'm pretty sure there are enough people that do play killers at red ranks and don't feel like so many killers are unviable."
I'd have to see them then because in all my time on these forums/twitch/youtube/in game I have seen very few who would agree with that. It's pretty universally agreed on by most red rank killers.

I play her regularly at rank 1. If you think that is seriously that strong I do not believe you actually play both sides in red ranks. No one in red ranks would agree with that. If you're seriously getting 4 survivors with 2 pools you are playing in green ranks. Post your steam page please.

I'm talking about her add ons, not the killer itself.
There are add ons which grants the killer corruption without the survivor cleansing.
Add ons
Corruption which allows you to hit a survivor with little to no fail.
I'm not talking about her base power..
-_- Plague isn't as weak as you say she is because most killers are like her. So does that mean all m1 killers are weak? Obviously, Plague isn't strong( arguably very weak) against high rank survivors, but once she has her corruption you can't tell me she is weak.
"There are add ons which grants the killer corruption without the survivor cleansing."
It's literally one pool...that's practically worthless.
Your entire team gets a heads up that she picked it up and she had to waste the time to go out of her way to get it as well. If your team is going down to that they are just bad.
"Corruption which allows you to hit a survivor with little to no fail."
One pool that can simply be waited out and it isn't that difficult to dodge when looping at all.
"-_- Plague isn't as weak as you say she is because most killers are like her. So does that mean all m1 killers are weak?"
Yes, all M1 killers are extremely weak.
"Plague isn't strong( arguably very weak) against high rank survivors""
That is the basis we are going by because you determine somethings strength when both sides are playing optimally and using things to the best of their ability. You don't determine somethings strength at low ranks where people play stupid, that isn't going to give you a realistic idea of how good it is.
"but once she has her corruption you can't tell me she is weak."
Against competent players she is NEVER getting her corruption even once the entire game. The ONLY exception to this is if she uses an addon for ONE pool of which is meaningless when they just wait out that one corruption and then you have nothing and wasted an addon slot as well. That addon isn't even good.

If all the survivors mains that were crying because of that nerf didn't actually believe the nerf was far too much, then that doesn't make sense to me at all that they were so unhappy. Pretty sure in their opinion, the exhaustion nerf was also too much. It turned out not to be. And I believe the exact same thing will happen with Nurse. I could see them decreasing the recharge time of blinks to 2.5 seconds, I could imagine that being fine as well.
Also, it is just my opinion. I'm not saying I am 100% sure, I just really believe this nerf to Nurse is fine.
I feel like more people have started to agree that killers are now in quite a good spot, of course not the low tier ones but there are many more good killers now.
"If all the survivors mains that were crying because of that nerf didn't actually believe the nerf was far too much, then that doesn't make sense to me at all that they were so unhappy."
The only unhappy ones were the ones that didn't both sides at a high enough rank to fully understand how broken it was and how little the nerf was.
"And I believe the exact same thing will happen with Nurse."
The nerf to nurse is much more extreme than what was happening to Exhaustion.
"Also, it is just my opinion. I'm not saying I am 100% sure, I just really believe this nerf to Nurse is fine."
I disagree but we will just have to see when the PTB releases to find out.
"I feel like more people have started to agree that killers are now in quite a good spot, of course not the low tier ones but there are many more good killers now."
The only people I ever see actually think killers are in a good spot right now are people who don't actually play killer at a high rank so they have no experience in what is actually going on with the games balance. When someone plays at green ranks for example of course all the killers look strong because they are all viable there. At that rank the survivors play dumb and make everything look good. At rank 1 where everyone is playing as close to optimal as we can get is where you see what works and what simply doesn't.

She doesn't need a buff, you just gotta use the right build. You seem to forget that if you dont cleanse, you bleed and moan, as well are are broken, so she is a better fragrant tuft myers
Bleeding and Moaning doesn't mean diddly squat in this game at red ranks.
Broken is also irrelevant with how numerous and strong loops are.
"so she is a better fragrant tuft myers"
Incorrect.
She is a much, much worse fragrant tuft Myers. Myers has a much smaller TR, longer lunge and vaults faster in T3. His size also gives him better mind games.
She is quite weak. There is a reason you hardly ever see her played.
